1897 Beekman House Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Lilly and Greg’s meticulously kept B&B for one night this past weekend. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a great choice. The house is beautifully kept, spacious and white glove clean. Equally as important, the hospitality and friendliness extended to us and other guests was truly second to none. The stay was capped off with a three course sit down breakfast that would have justified staying here entirely by itself. It was truly a terrific experience from start to finish and I know we will be back yearly on our way to pick up our kids from their summer camp on Seneca Lake. Cant speak more highly of this B&B! Greg and Lily were beyond accommodating, kind and so hospitable. The rooms were amazing, check in was easy and the breakfast was top notch. Anything we needed they assisted with. It felt like we were staying with family. Truthfully for the price and location it is well worth it and it is a gem of a stay! Bonus points for their pup Lola!! Seriously cannot think of a better stay - do not miss out !!!

We had an amazing stay at the Beekman House. Lilly and Greg are the most wonderfully accommodating hosts and just generally great humans. They were so gracious to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Definitely buy the guided wine tour. They will curate it based on your preferences and take care of all the planning. The breakfast was so good every single day and our room was very cozy and quiet. The house is beautifully maintained and in a perfect location. We can't wait to go back!

We had a delightful stay at Greg and Lily's beautiful BnB. They are excellent hosts and warm and friendly people. The home is lovely and appointed with well chosen period decor. There are many spaces outside your room to congregate. There are games available in the sitting room and a wrap around porch. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you are passing through the Finger Lakes region or perhaps stay a while and enjoy the lovely surroundings!

We went with 2 other couples (family) and my husband and I stayed in Isadora's room. Bed was super comfy! The house itself was so nicely done. In the morning, there was a Kuerig coffee maker available for those that were early risers before the breakfast time chosen. They honestly had anything you could possibly need. Wine glasses, wine opener, paper plates, napkins, plastic knives for you to use for your appetizers and cocktails. They even had games in the game room and pianos and a guitar for you to enjoy.|There was plenty of places to sit out on the front porch or in a dining room or 2 separate living rooms.

Would you like to stay in a beautiful Bed and Breakfast that is the perfect combination of old world charm and present day comforts? The 1897 Beekman House has it all…and more! Hosts Greg and Lilly are knowledgeable and accommodating. The location is perfect for a tour of the Finger Lakes and wineries. A delicious 3 course breakfast daily is the perfect start for a day of exploring and tasting. And at the end of the day, there is nothing like a glass of wine on the porch in a rocking chair! Sublime!

Everything about this B & B is exceptional. Stayed in the Royal Room, with king bed, large bathroom, great shower, TV and plenty of windows. Greg and Lily provided outstanding breakfast menus each morning with two serving times. Great start to each day's adventures. The Beekman House was the perfect home base for us to use as we explored the Finger Lakes area.

The 1897 Beekman House has become an annual trip for my husband and me because it is so amazing. The house is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and have great amenities, Greg & Lily are incredible hosts, and the breakfast is unlike any other with three delicious courses. We plan this trip each year simply to stay at the Beekman House and then find activities in the area to fill the day (something easy to do even after coming for over a decade because there is so much in the area).

The Beekman House is a gorgeous old Victorian mansion with elegant rooms and a wonderful couple as your host. We stayed in the French Room, which was on the smaller side, but which had everything you could want - including a nice jacuzzi tub for soaking after hiking the local waterfalls. The hosts, Greg and Lilly were gracious and kind and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They were super conscious of my husband's allergies, to the point of getting locally sourced duck eggs to prepare his breakfast, as he's allergic to chicken eggs. Speaking of which - the breakfasts were amazing each day! Another couple there mentioned that they had never stayed in a B&B before and were commenting on how great it was - but this B&B is head and shoulders above any we've ever stayed at - I hope they don't expect this level of wonderfulness at every place they stay in the future, because the Beekman House is unique. I highly recommend!!

I love this B & B and keep coming back. With excellent to access to both Keuka and Seneca Lake wineries, superb breakfasts and wonderful hospitality from the owners Lilly and Greg, would recommend 1897 Beekman House for your next Finger Lakes stay.

Greg and Lily are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was fantastic! They were so helpful with spot-on recommendations for places in the area to visit for both food and wine. They are both, along with the well-appointed rooms, and the beautiful Beekman House warm and inviting. We will be back! Highly recommended.

This hidden jewel keeps getting better and better! I have been coming back for over six years. The house is clean and well-maintained while the rooms are quiet, elegant, and comfortable! There has been a recent change in ownership and any hesitation or anxiety that I had as to whether the new owners would be able to meet or exceed the high standards of the last owners was quickly alleviated! Our host and hostess, Greg and Lily, were very warm and friendly. We were greeted as welcomed guests and treated like family. They're skills at creating out of this world 4 course breakfasts was off the hook! For anyone looking for a unique place to stay while visiting in the Seneca lake wine country this is a must to do!

This is by far our greatest experience with a B & B in the Finger Lakes area. The bed rooms and the common areas are elegant and very comfortable. It was great being able to be in the home any time of the day. We spent 5 days and each breakfast was delicious. Owners Lilly and Greg were great. They were knowledgeable of the home and area.

Having been to 1897 Beekman House with the prior owners, we were a little apprehensive about returning. Since Greg and Lily were sommeliers, we were hopeful about the visit and their wine knowledge. Our first trip was a resounding success! Before we could even get the suitcases out of the car, Greg and Lily had carried them to the room. They stayed for a lengthy wine discussion. The discussion was followed up with some pretty good wine coupons. We look forward to returning in the near future.

This place is a gem. A beautiful historic Victorian home that is quaint, comfortable and updated to the conveniences of modern times while maintaining its historic charm. Chuck and Gerry are wonderful. You feel like your coming home to family you've known your whole life. Their hospitality is above and beyond. It's a bed AND breakfast and that breakfast is worthy of a Michelin star! We were treated like royalty as well as one of the family. They also have us great recommendations for wineries to visit. We look forward to returning!

Spent two weeknights at 1897 Beekman House during the height of fall foliage. The new owners are wonderful. They provided a warm, relaxing stay and given they are sommeliers, provided AMAZING recommendations for wineries and restaurants. We had the bnb's charcuterie when we arrived, which was mostly local products and lovely. The breakfasts were above and beyond what we have had at other bnb stays. Truly amazing. We look forward to future visits!

Just spent a fabulous evening at the 1897 Beekman House in Dundee, NY. This beautifully appointed Victorian house filled with antiques, is now owned by Lily & Greg. They have worked in the hospitality business for years and are bringing the most positive tools of the trade with them to this venture. The guest rooms are comfortable & cozy, and there are several public rooms for games, reading or a cup of tea. The absolute best is Breakfast. It is all homemade from the muffins to the hollandaise, served with fruit, juice, coffee & tea. Do not miss out on staying here while you tour the Finger Lakes wine country or visit Watkins Glen raceway for some NASCAR.

This was an amazing B&B and I am so glad we chose it for our first visit to the Finger Lakes. Chuck & Gerry are wonderful proprietors and obviously enjoy what they do. You will never taste another breakfast like Chuck's creations. I cannot recommend it enough.

This was a perfect place for a weekend getaway to Finger Lakes. They are such gracious hosts and they go out of their way to get all the big and small elements just right. He is quick to respond to questions before the stay including dinner reservation recommendations. From the moment they greet you at the door, it is clear how much they want you to feel welcome and have a good stay. Needless to say, the breakfasts are amazing and worth the stay all by themselves. Our favorite was the poached pear and croque de monsieur or madame, both so decadent! The fruit and mascarpone crepes were quite delicious too. My husband loved the home-roasted French press coffee each morning and we enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch in the evening while we played cards. We added the private wine tour to celebrate my birthday, and it was a great tour up and down west Seneca Lake. He makes sure you are all set with wine tasting passes, then gives you space to enjoy. We went on a Friday and the wineries weren't very busy so we got to quite a few stops in the six hours. The meeting with the owner for a private wine tasting was great and we also loved Ravines. The other morning after breakfast he checked with everyone on their plans and gave passes for free wine tastings for places people were thinking of going. We left with a bag of homemade caramel popcorn, a locally made lemongrass soap (they give you a ziploc bag just so you can take it home!), and memories of a lovely weekend. You won't regret booking here!

My experience with the 1897 Beekman House was excellent.. The inn was beautiful and the proprietor was amazing at making sure every aspect was perfect. The food was excellent, the room stunning. I will definitely be back and would recommend this B&B over all others.. Just a wonderful time!
