1928 Tap and Grill

The food was absolutely amazing! The wait was worth it, because we ate everything to the plate. It’s funny how they have different utensils matching and that what makes the experience even better. The place was clean and the server was very polite and friendly. I recommend this restaurant. P.S. they’re also open until late at night!

I had such a great time at 1928 Tap and Grill! The food was absolutely delicious,the orange chicken was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the rice. The restaurant has a warm and cozy vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy. But what really made the experience special was Jessica. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. I have a very good time at this restaurant.

I was in here last night with a friend and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. From the time you walk in and see a sign that says seat yourself it sets the tones for a very passive service. There are QR codes on every table and each bar seat that has the food/drink menu with pictures that allows you to order whenever you are ready. This is great as they were very busy when we came in. At this point a server comes by and confirms your order, takes any modifications and send it to the kitchen and bar to get prepared. I had the orange chicken and my friend had the fish and chips. We were skeptical at first because the range of types of cuisine on the menu(Asian, American, and Mexican). We were not disappointed. As for the drinks, they have several different options of local draft beer and a great liquor selection all of which could be found on the menu. When we wanted another drink we could repeat it through our order screen. When you’re ready to check out, you just request on the web page and someone comes right over. On a side note, there was one obnoxious guy at the bar that kept harassing the bartender about wanting the kitchen to make him a custom sauce for his salmon and changing the order to something that was not even on the menu. He kept disrespecting the bartender and wasting their time while us and others were waiting on drinks. The bartender remained very fair and professional throughout the whole interaction. I imagine this is a big challenge for the people working of customers not able or willing to learn this (not so) new style of service. Anyways, I highly recommend and will be going back in the future!

Ordered the cheeseburger and wings—both were a solid 10/10! Paired perfectly with the spicy margarita. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for the perfect place to catch a game, you have to check out here. They have many TVs for different area and big one for the bar area. The menu has all the classic bar food you'd expect, like wings and burgers, but they also have some unique dishes like Galbi and orange chicken, which sets them apart from the average one. The drink selection was also excellent. They had a wide variety of beers on tap, including several local craft brews and all the popular domestics. Overall, It is more than just a place to watch a game; it's a full-on dining and entertainment experience. The combination of an unbeatable atmosphere, great food, and excellent service makes it my new go-to spot. I highly recommend it for any sports fan or anyone just looking for a fun night out with friends. We'll definitely be back for the next big game!

If you are looking for service, this is not the place to go. Asked the bartender what was best beer options from the local area and was handed a tablet to ”look over the menu” and let him know what I’d like to order. I don’t know why I went back but thought we should give them another chance. Second chance went just as bad as the first. Our waiter was good but had another incident with one of the other bar tenders. We ordered a specific drink with the waiter but they were out of that flavor drink. Soon after, the bartender came over and said they only had one flavor on hand and that was what we will be getting. Didn’t offer an alternative, just said that’s what he was going to give us. We tried to stop him but he promptly walked away and ignored our calls to wait. I would recommend elsewhere.

guy behind the bar is the definition of a jack***. treats customers in a borderline abusive manner. yelled at people for asking him to switch channels from local news to a football game. update: was just that bartender, manager sent him home, everyone else is great

Stopped in for a late dinner just about 30 minutes before they closed on a Tuesday night. I was in town for a conference and needed more food! Couple folks working were friendly and quick, food was delicious, beer was cold and I was out the door by close. Chicken quesadillas were stuffed, see pic and the salsa / guacamole/ sour cream was ample portion sizes as well.

I stopped in after a day of work and was amazed by the ambience, food, and great selection of tap beers. Pricing was reasonable, and the bartender was friendly and courteous. If you're looking for a quiet dinner, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a fun place to stop in for a quick bite and a few drinks with friends, great atmosphere here at 1928! Try the fish n chips!!

Do not eat here. $20 chicken sandwich had about 2.5 oz of chicken. Rainier was cold, but so were the onion rings.

For a soft opening, was amazingly blown away. Great service, great food, great scene and ambiance. There are some soft items that need some work, like harsh lighting, especially where I was sitting at the bar, though Trina was a fantastic hostess / bartender. I ordered the orange chicken and it was great. Mild, not overpowering sweetness, with a few chunks of legit oranges. I will be back and hope this flourishes.

This was a hidden gem to my hotel (executive hotel). I came in to watch a last minute soccer game but ended up really liking my experience here. Extremely friendly bar tender (Ozz). He was able to customize alcoholic drinks and food menu preference. The gyoza and calamari appetizers are so good. I would recommend to anyone stopping in for a quick bite and drink.

Severely understaffed. Needed to use an app to order/pay and it was painfully slow plus didn't get all of our food.

Oh my the guy behind the bar is incredible rude and aggressive. I was not the only person who left. He seems extremely frustrated like nothing can go right and is just abrasive and rude to customers. I walked out before I even ordered.

A really charming environment and wonderful service. Steven brought very pleasant conversation and was very helpful. The food itself was very good, and everything was provided at a great pace. Definitely stop by if youre in the area.

An extremely poor representation of our Culinary scene in Seattle. As a local longtime foodie we have establishments in the immediate area that represent our Northwest offerings so much better. Poor service cold food and hidden service charges on over priced poor quality offerings. Stay away. Try the hotel across the street. So more representative of our city

The food here was really tasty. I had a classic burger but I loved the Asian fusion options they had on the menu. Fries were nice and crispy. The best part of the night was meeting our server, Steven! He made the entire experience really enjoyable and was such a warm, welcoming person. Thank you for everything, Steven!

Poor new server. Needed some help and got none. Food came one 1 plate every 1in for party of 6. Could have enjoyed a lot more beer but never checked on us.

I'm not much of a yelper. Do not go there on Sundays. Bartender rude as hell. Got up and left.

Treated poorly and ignored by staff due to my friend being a African American male waiting 20 minutes for service and the waitress served the table next to ours who were Caucasian I left with one final statement if y'all don't want black folks in here put a sign on the door

Wow. I don't have the vocabulary to articulate how bad this place is. Don't expect to have the bartender talk to you or answer any questions. The calamari was a joke. Soft breading that fell off when you dipped it in the cold "marinara sauce." Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. A hospitality business with no hospitality.

Tried 1928 today and only caution is if you are gluten free, be very careful. Server had no idea when asked a question and actually answered incorrectly. Food arrived and clearly contained a breaded coating.
