2Dine4 catered our November 2023 wedding and absolutely blew us away with their hospitality and delicious food. They helped us craft a custom menu, hosted us for a Supper Friends tasting where we got to hear what other guests thought of the food, and were truly exceptional day-of. Food was a top priority for us, and Stephen, Alexandra, and their team exceeded our expectations. Accommodating gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan guests seamlessly, they crafted a plated and family style Mediterranean meal that remains unforgettable. I'm still thinking about the soup and the falafel. Everything was perfect and our guests were in awe. Best wedding food ever. The 2Dine4 team even did a "wine run" for us to buy more white wine. We highly recommend them for any event.

My husband and I recently celebrated our marriage at Swoop House with 2 Dine 4 catering. We had a De Nada Cantina inspired menu (one of our favorite local hangs) and the food was outstanding. We had wonderful assistance refining our menu to meet our very specific requests and it turned out perfectly, super delicious, and exactly what we wanted. We did passed appetizers and a buffet set up for dinner service and we received countless compliments from our guests throughout the night and the following days. The catering staff was also incredibly professional, beyond helpful, and so kind onsite. A true delight to interact with. We also had signature margaritas created which were delicious, though I our only minor complaint is that they were prepared differently between the two bar setups. But 10/10 definitely recommend 2 Dine 4 to those currently looking for delicious catering options with an impressive and dependable staff. *Unfortunately, we somehow did not end up with any pictures of the food set up!

Had an absolutely fantastic meal with Chef Happy (Abdelbaki) last night! The bacon wrapped quail, salmon pate and boudin balls were paired perfectly with the Hops & Grain Zoe that Josh Hare provided. The schnitzel and Shepard's pie was perfect as was the giant sticky bun and ice cream. Big surprise to me, the Hops & Grain Porter was yummy with dessert! The people at our table were a total joy to spend an evening with. We will be back!! Thanks 2 Dine 4!!

I was asked to plan a company group dinner for 30 at a private residence in Austin. Given that I did not have any history of working with local caterers, I was totally reliant on Yelp reviews to find one that would (hopefully) meet high expectations. After reading dozens of reviews, I visited their website and engaged 2 Dine 4 to provide an estimate for their delicious Mediterranean menu. The estimate was quite reasonable and most importantly, they delivered the service and quality that we had hoped for! The event was last night and today, I have received a number of rave reviews from the attendees. The food and service were truly exceptional! Thank you Ashley for helping me with the planning and to the team on site who made me look so good! 2 Dine 4 is highly recommended!

I picked these guys out of hat to order a King Cake for Mardi Gras. I lived in New Orleans for several years so my expectations for an Austin King Cake were very low. But their King Cake was excellent! Very authentic. Also very fresh. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

We ordered 2 Dine 4's Thanksgiving dinner delivery and it was fantastic. The Cajun spiced fried turkey was juicy and delicious. We were also impressed with the cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy and rolls. But, as dessert addicts, we were bowled over by the chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Absolutely dreamy! Perfectly chocolatey and not overly sweet. We definitely recommend 2 Dine 4 and will order from them again.

My husband and I took a trip to the Mediterranean before our wedding, and fell head-over-heels in love with the food. When it came to picking a catering company, it came down to how authentic, healthy, creative, and mouth-watering the menu was, and 2Dine4 blew us out of the water. Throughout the entire night, all of our guest couldn't stop talking about how incredible the food was. All I heard was, "Have you had that Tres Leches?!" As well as their food, their service was fantastic. Everyone was very polite, put together, organized, and thrilled to be serving such wonderful food. The waiter that served my husband and I even told us thank you for having such a great menu! And Gina, the event coordinator and main contact for 2Dine4, is wonderful. She is very sweet, patient, quick, and extremely helpful. I would recommend 2Dine4 in a heart beat. If you love food, and want to work with other people that love food, 2Dine4 is your caterer.

We experienced 2Dine4's service and food at a beautiful wedding, so when it came time to select a caterer for my Dad's 90th birthday party bash, I had VERY high expectations. Each and every contact and detail, from the first phone call to lights out at the party site, exceeded my expectations. The care that Stephen showed in suggesting, listening to, and offering menu selections that would have special meaning to our family and my Dad was incredible. Never, ever, were our menu tweaks and special diet restrictions treated like a bother, but rather as an opportunity to fine-tune our event. Upon arrival at our site, Nicki, Terry, Chef Manuel, and Ryan instantly exuded calm and preparedness- they set up a gorgeous food display and went so above and beyond what they were there to do- it was almost as if they were working their own family's event. The food was AMAZING- every bit of it- even the tiniest details. As I told Terry- they reminded me of what GREAT service and care used to feel like- it was refreshing! Thanks guys, for making our event better than it would have been without you.

I've now had the chance to experience 2Dine4 in 3 different ways and all 3 experiences were great! As a wedding coordinator: I worked with Frank and his team and they were very professional and helpful! Their staff were great in helping with the set up, flipping and bar service. As you would expect for a May wedding in Texas, it was HOT HOT HOT! But even though they were probably sweating like crazy in their uniforms, the entire staff was still courteous and attentive. As a wedding guest: The wedding that I got to try 2 Dine 4's caterer was delicious! The couple getting married are old college friends and I always remember them saying that good food was on the top of their list for wedding priorities. As a guest of Supper Friends: I'd heard about Supper Friends from the wedding I mentioned above. Instead of doing the traditional tastings, 2 Dine 4 hosts these wonderful dinner parties. Recently, I got a chance to try Supper Friends through yelp and it was a great experience!

I love 2 dine 4! The first time I played in a 2 dine 4 event was, I believe, in the late 90's? The first time "I" used them as a caterer was in 2002 at my wedding. To this day, folks still talk about the food at my wedding. For one, it was vegetarian and most people didn't even notice! Two, it was just absolutely delicious. The food, service, and presentation were perfect. I recommend 2 dine 4 to everyone I ever encounter. They make everyone look great! They put you at ease... They see and solve potential problems way before they arrive. You crave the 2 dine 4 food you "had the other night" for days after the event. This is a very common comment from guests. I use 2 dine 4 for every event. Serious passion and attention to details. This is not your typical/mediocre caterer. They truly care. When I attend an event that 2 dine 4 isn't catering, I always notice it. I always think to myself how much better the event would have been if Stephen, Chris, Miguel, Frank, and Gina had their hands on it... (TRUE STORY). They take care of your event as though it were their own. Everybody I have ever sent their way has come back with huge KUDOS after using them. I often talk with people who mention how catered event expectations are generally set low and how 2 dine 4 made them realize they could have amazing food and service instead. For corporate events or personal... In my opinion, nobody comes close to them. Austin is lucky to have 2 dine 4 in our backyard. I love, love, love 2 dine 4! They put you at ease and add so much to your event. They make it all seem so easy! Did I mention I love 2 dine 4?

2 Dine 4 Fine catered a graduation party I was hosting for a friend. They handled all the details like a pro. I had little to know concerns leading up to and during the event (they thought of everything). The team was attentive and through fully staged the food to ensure it was always plentiful, never cold and SO delicious. I will hire them for all my parties!!

Where to start in describing our experience with 2 Dine 4 Catering who we used for the wedding festivities on New Year's Eve for my son and his wife? The whole experience was nearly flawless, and I don't say that very often. I have a reputation as being obsessive about good, seasonal and tasty food. Understand that I live in Michigan and was charged with finding a caterer in Austin on about 8 weeks notice to take care of three wedding events over the New Year's Eve weekend. When I contacted 2 Dine 4, they were very patient with my numerous questions and requests for detailed descriptions of the appetizers, food photos, references, and finally picking out the appetizers for the afternoon reception. I did this without ever personally tasting anything they prepared, which could be disaster. But no so with 2 Dine 4. Everyone that I worked with from the owner, Stephen Shallcross, and Nikki, the event planner, were extremely helpful, professional and easy-going. Even Chef Chism took the time to personally talk to me about the events and guide me in my selections. To describe 2 Dine 4 as professional in all aspects of their business is an understatement. Now a word about the appetizers for the reception. They prepared a selection of stationary and passed appetizers that were delicious and beautiful. Imagine warm and perfectly cooked coconut shrimp skewers with mango chile sauce. The wild mushroom pot stickers with red curry and lemon grass sauce were a huge hit, along with warm yorkshire popovers filled with roast prime rib of beef, English cheddar and horseradish sauce. Perfectly seared and crusted ahi tuna on wonton crisps were spot-on and Taiwanese crispy chicken wraps in Mandarin pancakes with a Thai basil sauce and sesame slaw were artfully displayed in paper snow cone cups. How about crab ceviche and green chile pork empanadas with avocado crema? This doesn't include the beautiful antipasti platter with numerous tasty selections and the delicious petite cherry pies, chocolate bourbon pecan diamonds and coconut cream tarts. 2 Dine 4 also has a perfect house (the Swoop House) on Gonzalez Street where we had the rehearsal dinner the night before. What a treat and perfect setting for our group! Again, they prepared fantastic passed appetizers, including delectable crab cakes and goat cheese bruschetta with olive tapenade and fresh tomato relish. Among the perfectly plated courses, we enjoyed crispy fried quail on hearts of romaine salad, praline bacon with tomato and maytag blue cheese vinaigrette. Everyone loved the roasted tomato bisque and mini grilled pimento cheese sandwiches gracing the soup. The main course was a wonderful beer braised shortrib with tobacco onions, crab mornay mac & cheese and grilled asparagus. What can be wrong with a hot apple tart with rum-carmel gelato to cap off the meai? They also took care of a brunch the following morning. Again, everything was so good! I would highly recommend 2 Dine 4 to anyone planning a wedding or any other special event, large or small. Because they are a full service caterer and event planner, they can arrange all the details for an event, including seating, linens, china, glassware and anything else. They made perfect suggestions for a florist and photographer. We couldn't have done it without their help. Kudos for 2 Dine 4!

Can't say enough good things about 2Dine4!!! I have used them for two parties in my home - one with heavy appetizers for 50 and the other with a seated dinner for 25. They arrive on time, with great attitudes and professionalism. One of our parties required moving of furniture to allow for all the guests and they took over all the heavy lifting without batting an eye! Now the food.....delicious! We had many guests complement us on the food - tasty and great presentation. I found everyone from the initial planner, bar staff, servers and chefs to be very professional and easy to work with. They left my home exactly as they found it - which is almost the best part - and allowed me to enjoy my guests as well as the dinner. I would recommend, without hesitation, 2Dine4 and look forward to working with them again in the future.

We had their food at a wedding almost a year ago and it was amazing. We are wedding vendors as well and they treated us with the same courtesy and respect that they had for a wedding guest (which is so rare for caterers!). They were professional, kind, and the food was hot and delicious!

on my drive to work this morning, i got the happy bumps. you know, the goosebumps you get from being excited and being on a natural high. can you point out what is wrong with this picture? first of all, i was on my way to work. bingo. who gets excited going to work, you know, besides gigolos, professional shoppers, and my fiance? that's right, i have a fiance, and right now, we're in the middle of planning our wedding. so, it's thursday morning; here i am, a woman(child) in the midst of planning a wedding, and i'm completely sane and happy. so, you're wondering: am i delusional or have i found some secret route to wedding planning sans stress? unfortunately, there's no secret route. i won't discount being delusional just yet, but i have found something that alleviates stress-levels and staves off unnecessary man/woman disagreements: a kick-butt caterer. 2 dine 4 had me at hello. their menus looked interesting and had some unique flavor profiles that set them apart from typical wedding fare. gina, their event planner, worked (very patiently) with us to come up with a menu that fit our vision and tastes. after several revisions, she came up with a tasty array of dishes that i am sure will be crowd pleasers. we met with them yesterday to do a tasting of our proposed menu. everything was fabulous. i am in love with several of the dishes; in fact, i sometimes daydream about one of them... the people at 2 dine 4 are warm and professional, and they seem to love doing what they do. at the end of the day, that works out well for all parties involved. you can taste a chef's passion and soul in his cooking, and luckily for 2 dine 4, their chef's soul really shines through in their food. although they have not catered our event yet, we're completely thrilled and excited to have them on board for our special day.

We used 2Dine4 as our wedding caterer, and we were very impressed with the food, service, and professionalism. Our wedding was small but these guys weren't snobby about that, and our guests RAVED about the food. They let us taste-test both the Mexican and Italian menus, and it was really tough deciding because all the food was soooo good. I would definitely recommend them for weddings! And I have to add that some other caterers can be flaky, but these guys are on the ball!

They were FABULOUS! From the moment we booked them, to the communication before our event to the execution. I have done countless events and this one was one of the best. Their staff were beyond helpful and the food was to die for (highly recommend the watermelon feta appetizer). They will not dissapoint.

So good! These guys (and gals!) really know what they are doing. Having tried them at big events, I know they know food. Every thing we tried made us happy! (a bunch of foodies here). We'd been telling so many people about our great food experience that we ended up telling the owner himself! Then he introduced himself. (very nice by the way). They cook such a variety, it's amazing that they do it all so well. Funny side note: Every time 2 Dine 4 comes up in conversation, we hear someone chime "That's MY caterer!" Food so good, you'll think you're the only person they are cooking for. Such a treat!

I've used many catering companies for various business and personal events in the past, but once I started using 2Dine4, I need to look no further. In the past year, I've used them 2-3 times for parties ranging from 20-150 people. Each time they have truly "knocked it out of the park" in terms of the quality and creativity of the food and also in terms of "bending over backwards" service. They will work very hard to meet your budget, address all food restrictions, make sure your guests are happy and will leave your house spotless when they leave. Frank Frericks is a spectacular event manager and is a delight to work with, as are all of the staff we have ever had onsite. Stephen Shallcross, the owner, takes a personal interest in all aspects of the business, and it shows!

Hands down, the BEST caterer in Austin. I first sampled 2 Dine 4's magic at a wine tasting about 12 years ago. I've never looked back. I've enlisted their services for every party and event I've hosted since. The staff is incredible, only to be surpassed by the delicious edibles. I recently attended a friend's wedding and was able to identify a few of their delicious recipes before I found out who was doing the catering. I'm so happy to see these folks doing well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I love 2 Dine 4!!! They catered our daughter's wedding this past April at Mercury Hall, on a hot and rainy night, and never missed a beat. Frank was so helpful, fun and professional, guiding us through our menu selection and plans. He is delightful! We had a tamale dinner that was out of this world, with the BEST nopales salad. We had tres leches cake rather than a traditional wedding cake, and our guests raved about it. I would love to have this meal again, along with their margaritas!!! Ricky and his staff were extremely professional and helpful. They did so much - set up, serving, and break down, even helping us load things in our cars at the end, all with great enthusiasm. The bar tenders were lots of fun. Everyone went the extra mile, dealing with the weather. They really added a great spirit to an already wonderful day. I can't say enough positive about 2 Dine 4 - the food was perfect, the drinks delicious, the service over the top excellent! I look forward the the next opportunity to call them!

WOW - 2 Dine 4 Fine Catering made my niece's fairy tale wedding come true. From the hors d'ouerves passed by polite friendly wait persons to the buffet for 150 guests, everything was freshly prepared on-site. And what a site it was - Hideout on the Horseshoe Resort at Canyon Lake had no restaurant facilities. No problem for the wonderful 2 Dine 4 staff. The quarter mile hike from where they prepared the food to the cocktail reception - no problem. The wait staff was professional, friendly and incredibley polite. Then, the sit-down dinner for 150 people on a landing by the river. The 45 degree incline to get up from the landing or down to the landing, no problem. And the food !!!!!! Chicken breast stuffed with ricotta cheese - divine!! Balsamic beef ribs with roasted potatos - the best!!! And the most delicious macaroni and cheese side dish - better than your grandma's!!! The Cesar salad and the cauliflower and broccoli side dishes also perfectly prepared. And if that isn't enough, the homemade dinner rolls were light as feathers!! Thank you to one and all - you made my niece's wedding perfect!!

Dinner for 65 friends. This is as good as it gets. Professional planning and a friendly, fun and motivated staff that worked together like they were all best friends. As a person who often hosts events for our business I have had experience with a wide variety of caterers and food service providers. At times when dealing with your run of the mill caterers, the service and food can be great but most of the time its rarely something to be remembered. My opinion of this was changed upon eating the food and catering from 2Dine4. Stephen and his staff not only presented a visually appealing layout of food, but the food itself was fresh, well prepared, and anything but forgettable. From salmon, to beef, and chicken and vegetarian dishes, my taste buds repeatedly thanked me as I went back for seconds, thirds, and fourths. Overall I highly recommend 2Dine4 for any event you may be having from large corporate and charity events, to conventions, and even weddings. The service, quality and standards are truly something you won't forget and they are by far the best catering in Austin.

We used 2 Dine 4 for our November 2010 wedding after researching numerous caterers. Food was extremely important to us, and we wanted an untraditional format of formal seating with place settings, but with a number of heavy hors d'hoevres stations so our guests could freely mingle. Frank and his team worked patiently and creatively (long distance, I might add) to put on a fabulous spread within our budget. In addition to drawing up multiple proposals (after we repeatedly changed our minds), he offered guidance on rentals, set-up, staging, and decor, all over email, and with very quick turnaround. As other reviewers noted, they took care of the "extras": communicating with the rental vendors, signage, extra decorations, packing up leftover food and liquor, etc. so I never had to think about it. The result was rave reviews by all our guests, and we can't wait for another excuse to have 2 Dine 4 cater for us!
