One of my favorite restaurants in London. When I stayed nearby Oval last September, I randomly went to this restaurant on Sunday. I didn’t know what Sunday Roast was at that time, but I got it and it was absolutely amazing. All the ingredients are fresh. Since the food is not covered up with lots of sauces, I can taste the original flavor of each ingredient. The provided sauces are amazing, too. This is why I brought one of my friends visiting me last week, to show the best Sunday Roast in London. Definitely go back again!

Totally unsuspecting restaurant in Oval. I’ve lived in the area for years and always walked past but never thought to go in and eat. But today a friend took me and it was pretty amazing. Had the vegetarian Sunday roast and it hit the spot, especially the cheesy cauliflower. Very generous portions. To top it off the service was very friendly and welcoming. Best veggie roast I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Incredible Sunday roast! Gorgeous setting outside and friendly staff. Love the complimentary “bread” to start, cute mini Yorkshire puddings and gravy. We had the beef and chicken but the sides were the real stars!

Sunday lunch. What an amazing place! A comprehensive menu of roasts, we went for the beef and the pork, which came with all the trimmings and more, and both were perfectly cooked, hearty, and tasty. I’ve tried many lauded places for roasts and this is definitely one of the best. Portions were truly generous - I never say this but I couldn’t finish everything. An absolute gem of a restaurant!

Walked in off the street and less than an hour before closing. The service, wine, staff, and food were exceptional. Nothing was too much and the owners took time to chat …. Not pressured at all. Highly recommend a visit….. caters for varied tastes and budgets. Can’t wait until they start brewing again too. Left way after closing time….

I love this place. I was lucky to find this place as I don’t head this way. The luckiest quick drink. Now I will definitely be going out my way to come here. I had time to kill so I went in for a drink, I drank and saw quality wines one the menu. Fantastic simple decor, the loveliest staff and what looks to be a great menu. Everything seems to be excellent and reasonably priced. I’ll be booking a meal there as soon as possible, any excuse to go!

It's roast season, which means trying some new places across London. 24 The Oval is the first place we've visited this autumn. Overall, it was a great roast. The chicken and lamb were excellent, the Yorkshire's spot on and a great range of veg to accompany it. The only let down was the roasties - they were underdone (this is common in pub and restaurant roasts). Apart from that, it was excellent. The service was attentive and I really enjoyed their own name IPA.
