San Francisco Restaurant Reopenings as Coronavirus Restrictions Lift - Eater SF

"25 Lusk is finally reopening the glorious rooftop patio on April 20, and plans to reopen indoor dining soon. Say a happy-hour prayer that the fog will part in time for woodfire pizza and margaritas." - Becky Duffett

Yelp
My friends and I decided to go to SF to meet for a meal. Our first choice closed at 3pm, and since it was a nice day I went on Yelp looking for rooftop venues and found this place. We were lucky and arrived before the baseball game let out. Parking was challenging, but I assume this was due to the baseball game. We ordered a pitcher of the spicy margarita, which really hit the spot on a beautiful sunny day. We also ordered the Marguerite pizza, and for veggies we added a salad and brussel sprouts. Everything we ordered was great, and the service was also on point. Would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
The CARNIVAL EN OAXACA Habanero Infused Mezcal, Cachaca, Lime, Hellfire and Mole Bitters, Black Salt - amazing. That said, the drink menu seems to change a lot... great Oaxacan ingredients and chilis. We sat outside on the roof for an hour. Excellent. J

Yelp
Came about 4pm on A Tuesday. Booked a reservation since review's recommended to do so for happy hour. First, there's no Happy Hour. Looks like they used to before, there isn't anymore. It was pretty empty. Only one other couple at a table. Ordered pretzel bites, smoked cod toast and charred octopus. Pretzel bites were nice and soft. Exactly what you would expect. They came back and said they only have the smoked cod from Fri-Sun. That's fine. They refunded me for it. The charred octopus came and it looked gross. No char, just this limp looking gross appendage. It didn't even look like an octopus tentacle. I didn't take a photo but I should have. I love octopus so I'm pretty familiar with how it should look, taste and feel. The texture was wayyyy off. I think it had freezer burn from being in the freezer too long, or if it was supposed to be fresh, it was NOT fresh. I couldn't eat more than two small bites. I was too paranoid that it went bad. The tentacle outside was mushy and "wet." Not firm like you'd get at any other restaurant. Would not come again. Aside from the nice view, the food experience was not good enough to warrant a return.

Yelp
Our last night in San Fran and we wanted a nice spot to close out our fantastic week. I can't recommend Rooftop 25 enough. All three points get hit. The food is amazing, the service is excellent and the ambiance is brilliant. I highly recommend the Pretzel bites the burrata , the Margherita pizza with or without meat and the pork chop. Any of the Pizza's are excellent but be aware the meat's notch up the sodium. The service was fantastic and the food came quickly. Be aware the kitchen is small and the food will be staggered if you are in a large group (which they totally accommodate by the way). Second, the service is different (but not an issue). It's pay as you go even though they seat you with menus. Anytime you are on a rooftop you know the ambiance is going to be great (as long as the weather holds). With amazing weather this rooftop is amazing. The location is cozy and the only little gripe I have is the building is only three stories, so you get dwarfed by the building surrounding it. All in all I would definitely come here again and would highly recommend it.

Yelp
Delicious food, but mixed feelings about it. Pizza was good, appetizers (guacamole and chips and burrata salad was delicious - we shared this). One person ordered crab roll and said it was good and big portion. Another person ordered the pork chop and it was good and big portion. The meat was hot, but the potatoes were cold. A few of us had the salmon. The fish was perfectly done but the chowder it came on top of was cold. The sizes of the salmon were inconsistent. Some looked smaller than other pieces. Service was fast and friendly! They came and checked in on us frequently. Roof was nice vibe with heated lamps, but still needed a jacket with the occasional wind. Cocktails were good and for the non-drinkers, they had great options that were refreshing like the "spa water" or passion fruit Collin's.

Yelp
Came here with a group on Saturday evening, and it was mostly empty but a really nice outdoor space with lots of tables and a cozy ambiance. Food was pretty standard -- I actually surprisingly enjoyed the BAVARIAN STYLE PRETZEL BITES ($9), which were warm and moist and came with mustard and a very decadent cheese fondue. The POACHED MAIN LOBSTER GUACAMOLE ($19) came with a good amount of lobster that felt worth it over the regular guac we also ordered, while the FROMAGE BLANC PIZZA ($21) with peas, cauliflower, bacon, and chili oil was just ok. It felt like it was lacking flavor beyond the unexpectedly strong cheese that overrode all the other ingredients. Overall, this is a nice spot to host gatherings, with easy reservations and good diversity of safe food and drink options

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed our recent dining experience at Rooftop25. From the delicious food to the lovely outdoor rooftop ambiance, everything exceeded our expectations. We found the rooftop area to be the perfect spot to hang out with friends and enjoy the beautiful weather. Virginia, in particular, stood out to us with her exceptional hospitality and welcoming demeanor. She went above and beyond to ensure that our first visit was truly memorable. We are already looking forward to coming back with our friends

Yelp
Came on a weekday and it was a nice rooftop good views near the ballpark so I can see it would get busy. The menu is good for a happy hour not dinner spot but the portions are small. It was just average. You have to go to the counter to order and on a slow regular night like this where I see the cashiers just standing there- they can go serve the tables and ask. It would promote sales and have people ordering more without it being an inconvenience to the guest since when you check out the lowest percentage tip they ask on the screen is 20%! Food was averagely good. Would probably come back just for drinks

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends since we were around the area - loved the rooftop scene - great vibes and very chill overall. When we popped by it was an off time on the weekend (like 3pm'ish) so it wasn't super busy and there was no wait. Service was "kinda" self serve during this time, we ordered at the bar but the food and drinks were brought to our table. Overall, the menu was bar bites, with some new American dishes ++ a full bar of course. Cocktails were tasty, but food was a bit subpar in the end. Let's Dig In: (1) Pretzel Bites - this was super tasty! Came out nice and hot, lightly salted with great dipping sauces! (2) Salad - this was good and refreshing, loved the light vinaigrette dressing and olives on this. (3) Pizza - were all OK, not the best I've had but not bad. Meat one had some blistered peppers which added a nice kick - this was my fave. The prosciutto/arugula was OK - def needed a drizzle of something like chili olive oil, & the Margherita Pizza was my least fave - it just didn't have the right fresh/tartness to it. (4) Pilsner Brined Chicken - this was fair, the chicken had a get crisp skin and was juicy inside but didn't care much for the seasoning and or flavor. Also felt a little bit more fancy than we expected - we were thinking it was a simple and shareable, bb drumettes and wings kind of dish. (5) Passionfruit Margaritas + Pineapple Coconut Daquiri - the drinks were both delish! These were the house specials & they did not disappoint! Boozy but also tasty!

Yelp
In my previous review on another rooftop bar, I mentioned that last minute reservations are hard to come by. Rooftop 25 takes Yelp reservations, so that's a plus. First impression: Dead end street; parking lots all around us, no elevator access (you have to call some number if you have mobility issues and need to use the elevator), it's not a tall building so there's not much to see except other nearby buildings and parking lots. Once you get up to the bar area, it's pretty casual. Counter ordering first and then you get your food/drinks. They have heaters but I don't think ours was working because we kept our jackets on. My friend and I ordered the Spicy Passionfruit Margarita and the Yacht Club. Both delicious in their own way and good strong drinks. We shared the cheese pizza (+arugula) and it was delicious, the dough slightly chewy and charred and just right amount of yummy sauce. Two unisex bathrooms. Clientele: mostly groups of friends hanging out, and/or work buddies hanging out. I'm rating this as 3 - 3.5 stars. Food/drinks are solid but for our girly get-together catch up day, it's lacking the type of lux rooftop ambiance we were looking for. If you are looking for casual vibes with good food and drinks, this may fit the bill.

Yelp
The place looks nice, and had enough space. I had their poached maine lobster guacamole. It was quite yummy. I might try something heavier next time.

Yelp
Little to no gluten free options! Menu looked bomb if you can have gluten though. Super pretty setting though

Yelp
This is a rooftop bar, thus the name. It can get breezy depending on the day, so bring a jacket and a hat... but not one that can easily blow off (like mine did). The menu is creative, and full of yummy goodness. All servers were friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I came with a huge group for a birthday and the staff was extremely accommodating and super nice. Big thanks for dealing with us! Cocktails were yummy; I ordered both the SF Yacht Club and a Strawberry Rosé. I really liked the SF Yacht Club and it looked like the Spicy Passionfruit Margs were really popular for our table. Most of the apps were just ok to me, (re: pretzel bites, yellowtail crudo, curry hummus) but the steak tartare was soo good. Our side also got a margherita pizza with prosciutto and that was yummy. Food did take a while to come out, but it was probably a bit chaotic on our end as well to figure out who ordered what. Overall, seems like a nice place to come for celebrations or larger parties. There were a few other groups that looked like they were celebrating special events as well. We also didn't stay for sunset, so we might've missed out on a better view. Birthday boy said he enjoyed and had fun, so that's all that matters!!

Yelp
It's worth the experience. Not too much of a view. Heat vents at every table. You have to order food and drinks at the register and take a number. The champange vodka drink I had was good. Skip pretzel they were over cooked. Chicken was really good. Hummus platter diffrent but worked well with drinks. Happy hour could be better options or change the price, just do yourself a favor and order iff the regular menu.

Yelp
Really pretty rooftop to hangout with friends! Good: - Beautiful views, can get a little sunny and hard to see - The Passionfruit collins drink was so refreshing and good! - The tortilla chips and guac were surprisingly good and the potato skins Bad: - Food takes a while to come out - pretty packed and busy servers - I didn't really like a lot of the appetizers, the honey pizza tasted too sweet for me - the poke was a strange flavor too - maybe just a weird asian fusion? Overall this place was okay as a gathering place to catchup with people, but not sure if I'd come again for the food

Yelp
Came here for a quick drink while in the city! Got a great cocktail and everyone working was so nice! A fun stop to stop and sit on the roof, not many views so if you're looking to see the skyline this is not the spot, but if you're looking to relax in a quaint quiet spot, this is it.
google avatar

Yelp
We order 2 pizzas and the buratta! They were delicious! The pizzas are pretty good here! Not much of a view as the restaurant is tucked in a dead end street. Place is clean, some Giants fans were eating there before the game. It would be nice if they had servers come and take ur order instead of ordering at the register, but many places seem to be short staffed lately! Too bad restaurant not open yet!

Yelp
Been here a bunch of times. Always had fun. The drinks and food are good and everyone has been nice. Pet friendly at least on the day I went with my pet in a stroller but best to check first. It's fun and relaxed and does have an elevator if needed but worth the stairs as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice outside venue. The staff were friendly and allowed me to make a customization to my pizza order which was pretty good. I also ate the pretzel bites which were good, but the portion was very small. Overall, the food was decent but a little pricey for how much you get.

Yelp
Planning my birthday was a must and so later I checked out some cute rooftop spots in SF. For my birthday, I did some research and yelped a few cute spots. Love the vibe and the amazing service. The weather was slightly warm with light cold breeze. Everyone was polite and respectful, some of the food were okay but my most favorite was the lobster lettuce wraps and the braised short ribs. Super tasteful and well cooked. The mashed potatoes just needed some more salt and the corn was really good with some butter on the side. I do apologized but I forgot the other two that I ordered. Both appetizers were okay, the meats on top of the potatoes were overcooked and rough to eat. The pretzels were a little stale but the sauces were delicious. Nice spot to check out though but the only that I dislike, when I arrived at the restaurant the elevator wasn't working. It was a work out going up and going back down. Lol.

Yelp
Came here for a HH after a team outing and was really impressed! First off views from the rooftop and the vibes are impeccable! The servers and staff were also super accommodating and kind! We had people coming in later than our seating time and they still made sure everyone had a spot and was taken care of! This menu is definitely one of the more diverse and interesting ones I've seen! They had traditional bar foods like pretzels with cheese, and pizza- but the way they take these familiar favorites and elevate them are definitely next level! The drinks were also so good and had really pretty presentation! They were also super consistent with the presentation for the more complex drinks which was really nice too! This is a great place for a group dinner or a team dinner! Would definitely come back with my friends!

Nelson S.

Yelp
Bad service, overcharging and food no good. Open a tab they will hold over $150 and you don't get that money after seven days they don't tell you that so pay cash or don't go there at all, very little options on the menu pretty small place. Foo I give it 3 out of 10. The rooftop. It's just a building in front of you. Not a nice view don't waste your time.

Frederick J.

Yelp
Rooftop 25 is one of a few rooftop restaurant/bars in SF. This one is tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. Large roof heaters keep you warm on a cold night. Ordering food here is done at the walk up counter. Food wise - I think Pizza's are the best item on the menu here at a reasonable cost and tastes good too. I would not venture far off to the other items on the menu as we did try their baked potatoes which had duck in them - they could spare but 1 tiny potatoe split and a half on the plate and tiny portion it was. Taste was ok but I'd really rate the quality as sub par for the price paid - chef is trying to do an up market plate but I think it misses the mark. Drinks are extremely expensive here and if they do a happy hour best go to that - can of Boddingtons $13 , $10 cider a can . All in all as there are other ventures in the city with far better views from the roof deck - we'll look at options elsewhere next time.

Yelp
Super cute rooftop. Service was great. You get there get menus sit and than go order your food and drinks. We received our food quick and was delicious. We had reservations at 3 to beat the crowd and to try happy hour. Recommend the welcome to jungle drink!!

Yelp
Got porch chops and the steak here. Highly recommend the margarita pitcher. Drinks are tasty too!

Yelp
Inside 25 lusk was great. Rooftop... meh notttttt so impressed. First their staff was kinda just blah and like unapproachable almost rude and unsettlingly awkward. But I did get there like right at opening before the night even started so there's that. Maybe I'm the problem here lol. But whatever. They made me a drink that was pretty gross... and their menu had a pizza I was excited for, thinking it would be pretty top notch after eating inside previously. It kinda tasted like a kids pizza... mediocre ingredients.... Still good... but not great. Def not great... I prob won't be back... but I experienced it now :)

Yelp
Rooftop 25 is an absolute masterpiece. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting the chef and exploring the menu last week, and I have to say, we can't go back soon enough! Seriously. Matthew Dolan is an incredible guy, a true culinary genius and the rooftop provides the perfect ambience to facilitate the beauty of his carefully curated menu. The ribeye was stunning- cooked to perfection- and you cannot leave San Francisco without having tried these mashed potatoes! They're unbelievable. I can't remember the last time that I had a meal that was so good, it made me laugh! Like the 'can't help but laugh because you're genuinely blown away at how delicious and flavorful the food was' kind of laugh. Just recently my boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Morton's and I can tell you that it was beautiful, but the quality of meat and flavor didn't compete with what we had for dinner at Rooftop 25. If you're looking for an impressive meal, come here. Again: The service is wonderful, the rooftop is perfect for any occasion and the food will blow your mind. Matthew Dolan is making the kind of food that truly embodies the spirit of San Francisco: bold, yet classic and timeless. Food that, like this city, you just can't get enough of! You can immediately taste why he's earned himself a Michelin Star. There is zero reason why you shouldn't go and see for yourself!

Yelp
I came here for a friend's bday as she had reservations. Our reservations was for downstairs but they seated us on the rooftop. The rooftop was nice though and had a chill vibe to it. I wanted to get their pizza with pork belly in it, but they were out of it so I got their magherita pizza and spicy passionfruit margarita. The spicy passionfruit margarita was very tasty, but the magherita pizza was mediocre. The pizza was super thin that all the cheese and toppings would fall right off. Not the best place for dinner, but a really good place for drinks.

Yelp
My wife and I came here for the first dinner of our honeymoon. What a great time. There is a great vibe here, which included couples like us, young people out on dates, and even what looked like a couple girls' nights and/or bachelorette parties. It was not quiet, but it was definitely fun. We had a ton of the light bites on the menu and loved all of them. In particular, the Caviar Deviled Eggs and the Confit Pork Belly and Shishito Peppers were memorable. We tried and loved the Maple & Rye Old Fashioned and the Spicy Passionfruit Margarita cocktails. The wine list is short but very nice, with a good taste of local California wines. Service was super friendly and lightning-fast, and the rooftop, while not having some epic view of the city, added a very nice touch. We'd love to come back here!
google avatar

Yelp
Our Labor Day weekend started off with a walk to the rooftop at 25 Lusk. We enjoyed some deviled eggs and pretzel bites, along with a frozen drink. It was quite packed up there, and I actually thought the rooftop was much higher, but a serviceable place for a quick bite to eat and drink. I appreciated the ability to walk up and order food for delivery right to your table!
google avatar

Sonya B.

Yelp
Fun place to met up with friends. Nice selection of drinks and beer. LOVE their passionfruit margarita! Tasty food too that pairs well with the drinks and good for sharing. Counter service that can be a wait to order or reorder.

Yelp
I was looking for a cute place to hangout with friends with a nice view. The rooftop view set up is nice with string lights however not any view as it looks out to a building. I was kind of disappointed when looking at the menu because they changed it up since covid and did show that change online. The menu is quite small with different types of food. I recommend getting the Margherita pizza because it is a more finger food and easier to share. Recommend if you want a place to hangout and drink or spend time with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Rooftop 25 AKA Twenty-Five Lusk is a cute place to grab a bite, a drink, and enjoy the view. We learned the hard way that you should probably bring a sweater as the San Francisco wind can be very unforgiving at higher altitudes. When you are ready to order, you have to go up to the bar and place it there. You will then be given a number sign to take back to your table so the servers can bring your food and drinks over to you. The cocktails are pretty good here. We tried the strawberry fields, the pineapple daquiri, and the pimm's cup. All the drinks were boozy and flavorful. Their spicy margarita also seemed to be popular here as we saw many people order it. To eat, we ordered a margherita pizza and the Pilsner brined chicken drums. The pizza was pretty good. Had a nice crunch to it and a good ratio of cheese-to-sauce. The Pilsner Brined Drums however are inaccurately-named. There was not a hint of "brine" on those drums whatsoever. I guess this would be a good option for anyone watching their salt intake. The service was pretty friendly. We didn't have too much interaction with the servers but when we did they were nice. I would probably return.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night for a friend's birthday and it was pretty busy. FYI, they only take reservations for parties 5+. Also, there's outdoor heaters. Yelp says they close at 10 but bartender says they do last call at 10:30 and get everyone out by 11pm. You have to place your drink/food order at the bar - you get a number stand to place on your table for delivery. I got the SF Yacht Club drink and it was pretty strong but good! We ordered the Pilsner brined chicken drums and margherita pizza to share. Pizza was mediocre but the chicken drums were very disappointing.. some of the drumsticks were questionable because it was blood red in the center, the brussel sprouts were mostly burnt and the tater tots were room temperature. Even though it came on a sizzling hot clay plate, the food was barely warm. Disappointed, would come back for their drinks but not the food.

Yelp
First time here and it probably won't be my last. Note to self- bring a jacket! It does get fairly windy and they do have heating lamps, but if you aren't seated directly near one then good luck. Reservations were made almost 2 weeks out, better safe than sorry to make them just to guarantee seating. Menus were promptly handed to the table and instead of ordering with a server, we were directed to order from the bar. To start we ordered the tuna tartare, the avocado hummus and the deviled eggs. All were exceptional! My personal favorites were the avo-hummus and the tuna tartare. The ago-hummus was a perfect blend of both ingredients not one over powered the other and the touch of togarashi on top was a great touch. The tuna tartare was basically like Hawaiian style poke to me. It came with really thin cut taro chips, so it made me feel healthy eating it. As far as the main course-- I split the rib eye and the salmon dish with a friend and both were absolutely perfect. The i really enjoyed the bernaise sauce on the salmon. It helped keep everything moist. the rib eye was perfect. Asked for it to be made med-rare and they didn't disappoint. Everything was just so flavorful and the sweetness from the bacon gravy complimented the savory flavors of the steak. The egg on top was also cooked just enough to enjoy a little egg porn. My only complaints would be a) with my drink. I ordered a pineapple coconut daiquiri which h stated would be a a frozen cocktail, but it came out as a drink over ice. And b) I had my mind set on ordering the Yellow tail jack as my main course but I didn't see it on the menu although it was listed on their online menu. So I was a little disappointed in that. But overall, I had a great experience. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, and the overall place was great.

Yelp
Came here with coworkers for happy hour! Made a reservation on Yelp for 4pm. We were a tad late but there were no issues. We came as shortly after they opened when only a few tables were taken, but the space filled up quickly. You walk up to the cashier to order and the drinks and food are brought to your table. The atmosphere is like a beer garden. Big open space with long tables. We ordered a pork belly confit pizza, Margherita pizza, and pretzel bites. The food exceeded my expectations. The pork belly was super tender. The Margherita was standard. The crust had some corn meal which helped the texture. Pretzel bites were also standard. I liked the cheese dip and mustard. We had a lot of beer, spicy passion fruit margs, and the martini. Everything was great! Food is good, lots of options, food and alcohol service is fast and friendly. I'll come back!

Yelp
Delicious food, casual atmosphere, and friendly service. The patio roof is retractable which was nice on our sunny afternoon.

Yelp
Close to stadium Intimate but not too small Comfortable, friendly...great food and drink. Would go there again for pregame fun

Yelp
I loved this place! Great for rooftop brunch! They have many savory choices for guys and yummy mimosas for the ladies. I was very buzzed after one. I wish i had two! This is an order at the register and pay first then sit down and wait for ur order to come. Would def recommend to check out

Yelp
On the hunt to have some brunch with a small social bubble, Rooftop 25 fit the bill with an amazing outdoor rooftop space! Let me start by saying the ambience is on point. There wasn't a ton of people there on a Sunday early afternoon, and our group felt comfortable during the entire outdoor dining experience, with the staff following the safety guidelines. For the menu, they serve brunch all day and the have a regular menu that had some interesting choices. I went the smash burger and the pt. reyes blue cheese pizza. The smash burger was alright, but it was more like two slider patties in between a single bun. My thought of smash burger is, was a bit different (usually thin and flat) than Rooftop 25s take on it, and it came with a handful of chips. The bun could've used a nice toasting as well. It filled the hamburger fix in the moment, but don't know if I'd order again. The pizza had all the right flavors I was looking for, but the crust was undercooked. It had that gum-line look and texture, and had it sent back for a re-do. The second try was better, but the crust was still undercooked, but we didn't bother asking for another try because we were about finished up at this point. Our friends' steak sando was also undercooked, with the steak being raw in the middle. Not sure if they were going through training, but the food (taste and presentation) left a lot to be desired. Again, the ambience and setting is on-point and very well done. It's a pricey brunch, but with not many rooftop options in the city, it's nice to have another option, plus they take reservations, which makes planning for a group of 6+ easier than waiting at other brunch spots. This place has a TON OF POTENTIAL, just think there needs some kinks to be worked out before I'd return again.

Yelp
After starting the afternoon up the road at Hi-Dive, I used Yelp to find another new place to try adding to my rotation and "Rooftop 25" showed up. So I took a Lyft there and walked up the long flights of stairs to the roof. My first impression was that the venue itself looks like a cross between an upscale beer garden and a collegiate dining hall. I also found it weird that I had to order my food & drinks at the cashier's station before sitting down. Would I have to keep going back up there to order more things as the evening progressed? I didn't find out because I took off before that happened (after finalizing payment at the same station). Funnily enough, I wound up chatting with a guy as I was waiting at my local car wash the day after and he vigorously recommended I visit Restaurant 25 in this building instead. I'll most likely wind up doing that if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Made reservations for a party of 8 a week ahead of time. Of course, my party was running late (I should have known 8pm on a Friday was way too early). I was able to call 1 hour before my reservation time and let them know we were running late and Rooftop 25 gladly accommodated! We were able to get rooftop reservations instead of sitting inside. The rooftop was gorgeous. The lighting was so good, all the pictures looked filtered!! I loved the view as well. You get an amazing skyline view!! I will say... the food though??? Overpriced and not that amazing. I really think you pay for the scenery and ambiance at this place. You get seated and go up to the counter to order food and then they will deliver it to your table. Overall, I am happy that the rooftop vibes of this place is beautiful... but food and drinks... I'll pass.

Yelp
I love the rooftop bar! They give you blankets if you're cold. The pizza was really good. What I liked the most was the ambience. A great place to start the night!

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise Got to hang out before indoor dining shut down again in San Francisco and Rooftop 25 was a great place for our hoorah! The patio is covered with heated lamps throughout. They also have a tv that was playing whatever sporting event that day. There are no waiters, so orders are taken at the bar after you're seated. There are runners that drop off your food, drinks & check on the table. With that being said, we still had the dining experience without the waiter. I love this concept. Especially coming from the food industry (back in my college days), it eliminated the server from going back and forth from table to table or having the server wait for indecisive guests. This is one of the reasons why it takes a while for your server to get to you. One needy table with a million requests can make your table wait for what it seems like forever. When dining out, practice self awareness, it's not always the servers fault. On to the food. Oh my baby j! The cauliflower truffle Mac n cheese is the business! The portion size was huge. There was 5 of us and we had at least 2 servings each! The burger was meh, it was 2 slider burger patties in the bun. I did think it was amusing, but the meh part about it was that it was over cooked. Similar to eating a hockey puck with cheese. The pretzel knots were great. It had the right about of salt and obviously I smothered it with mustard. Lastly, beer and shot for $13! So, 805 and whiskey. Let's go! All in all, great experience, ok food and happy hour menu all day. Would I come here again? Most likely. Checks out good in my book.

Yelp
Food was good and drinks were good, waitress and everyone was nice and the timing was great, only complaint in the portion sizes for the price were very small, the ordering system was also a little odd because you have to order and pay at the register after you sat down and looked at the menu but other than that it was good.

Yelp
This place is fun, but I just don't like that you have to walk up and order your own food and drinks. So not quite as nice as I thought, but it's cute. I found the drinks to be delightful, and the food worth every effort even on a breezy game day. So if you've dined at 25 Lusk before, this is a totally different environment. The resto is really chic and sexy, and the rooftop is a little more of a casual vibe. And while we're on the subject, I wouldn't really call this a full-on rooftop. I mean, technically it is, but it's like a low second or third story rooftop. I don't recall there being heat lamps, so it was pretty chilly. And the bathrooms are like supped-up porto-potty trailers. Ok - but let's get into the food: -YAAAAASSSS, do the pizza. -Pretzel bites are so bomb. I usually don't eat such carby-types of food, but you gotta do it. -Shisito peppers are great too. Service is nice and friendly, so for all of that, it's a solid 4 from me.

Yelp
Just went for happy hour. Drinks were good and the pretzel bites were delicious. The only issue I saw was that for $5 we got 5 pieces of pretzel. That's $1 per pretzel, pretty surprising. BUT they were yummy

Yelp
A pretty limited menu in my opinion with just subpar food. There's no particular cuisine, the food options are all over the place. The ambiance felt a little tacky. Mission bay is windy and cold almost all year round so this rooftop has its walls down for the most part. But even if they were up it doesn't have much of a view. We just had a couple small dishes like Brussel sprouts and then went to Taco Bell afterwards...

Yelp
Sub par food, not a real rooftop as there's not a real view. Was definitely expecting more than what we got and it was over priced as well. Do what you will with that information!
