The Absolute Best Restaurants in Gowanus

"Stepping into this wood-paneled red-sauce joint is like being transported back to old Italian-American Gowanus: the service is unpretentious, even brusque, the food is heavy and unrefined, and the dining room still smells faintly of cigarette smoke — all of which makes it perfect. Go with a large group so you can sample widely; don't miss the baked clams, thick-cut bacon, and blue-cheese salad, and be sure to order the signature double-cut, brontosaurus-size pork chops if you can." - Edward Hart

2Toms might have been my favorite brewery during my time in Fort Wayne. The beers were delicious and creative, and the staff was friendly. It is a cool space with comfortable seating, and it seems they host some interesting events. An opera event was just wrapping up when I arrived. I tried several of their beers, and they were shockingly good. Even though it was a quirky beer, the Blue Hawaiian Milkshake might have been my favorite. I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in Fort Wayne.

Leaving my review here since 2Toms decided to remove themselves from The Knot and just move over to Wedding Wire after I had left a very honest review about my experience booking with them for my wedding reception back in August of 2024. My fiancé & I decided to book 2Toms Brewery for our small wedding reception after doing a tour months prior to our wedding. We thought it was the perfect space for what we were looking for and the gentleman who helped us was very nice and professional. The owner ended up not making it to our scheduled tour but we figured he was busy and that’s okay. Fast forward to the month of our wedding, my fiancé and I experience some major financial difficulties and ended up having to switch our caterer. Tom worked with us in that regard and we really appreciated it. Now fast forward to the day before our wedding. I had gotten approval from Tom that we would be able to set up for our reception the night before our wedding with no problem. We tried to do it as close to closing as we could to be considerate of their other customers that evening. When my family got to 2Toms to begin setting up, they noticed there was way less chairs and tables than what we had been told would be available during our tour. When they tried to explain this to one of the workers there, he turned around and told them “he can’t be bothered with that right now”. My family confused and not knowing what to do had to call me to which my fiancé had to turn around from where we were already going (a dinner reservation for just the two of us the night before our wedding) in order to go to 2Toms and figure out what was going on. I was not able to reach the owner by phone or text. It wasn’t until my fiancé left a voicemail, frustrated, that Tom finally decided to text me a minute later and tell me that he would figure out the table and chairs situation the best he could the next morning. So we had to set up as best as we could and work with what we had as well as missing our dinner reservation that was already paid and planned for, all the night before our wedding. The morning of our wedding I received a text from Tom with a picture of the rest of the tables and chairs set up. The extra tables & chairs they decided to bring out looked completely different from what we had saw during our tour. The tables we had already saw and set up were nice wooden tables with very nice black chairs. They decided to fill the missing tables and chairs with cheap folding tables and folding chairs. It didn’t look good together but what else can I do the MORNING of our wedding?? So I just say they look great and move on. Now it’s time for the reception. At this point I’m thinking there can’t possibly be anything else that can go wrong. Oh but wait. Once we get to the reception, about 30 minutes into it, we noticed they had booked a live band basically right next to where we are doing our reception. Drowning out whatever music we had playing and also had random people walking in and out of our private wedding reception because that was the only way they could get to the door to see the band. Also, no heads up about this at all from Tom even though we booked this space 8 months before our wedding! Also the Bluetooth speaker they had set us up with to play music kept going in & out and when we informed the server that was working our space, she didn’t seem like she really cared and I ended up having to bring out my OWN speaker in order to continue playing music for our reception. With everything that had already gone wrong, my fiancé and I decided to end our reception almost 2 hours early and not add anymore funds to what we had already paid towards the bar. We paid the $400+ bar minimum fee prior to our wedding and had planned on spending a lot more during our reception had we not felt like we had to cut it short. Mind you during all of this I never met Tom once nor have I received any sort of apology since he saw my review on The Knot. Instead he decided to just remove his business from there entirely and move to a different wedding planning app.

I’ve only been once, but am excited to go back again sometime soon! Great vibes, great drinks, and great food! (So good I ate most of it before I realized I needed a photo lol). There was a plethora of seating options, both inside and outside, and they had a variety of games to play if you wanted to. We had a really nice time here!

Google
First time to visit 2Toms and this brewery just slid toward the top my list of favorites! Excellent selection of brews with great complexity and range of aroma and flavor. Loved the barrel aged stout. Ambiance of the brewery is cool, especially with the wall of casks. Hope to be fortunate enough to be back when some of these are tapped. Appreciate the welcoming and congeniality of Aaron. Very much appreciate the conversation and getting to learn about the brewery. Unfortunately missed the kitchen open hours but will catch that next time. Hope be back soon.

Google
Nice, little brewpub tucked away, just waiting for visitors. Ample room inside and out with a nice selection of craft beers.

Awesome beers....the Willet Rye Stout was the best. Aaron was great@!

Google
I stopped in after work with a few colleagues to check out 2Toms, and we were not disappointed. There is some outdoor seating, but it was pretty hot the day we went, so we opted to stay inside. It's very spacious and open inside, with plenty of places to sit and relax. Their beer-tenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. And their beers were excellent, we all enjoyed our respective flights. I'd highly recommend.

Google
This place gets a 5 star rating from me for their chorizo and brisket tacos, as well as their hazy IPA and their newest brew, which another wonderful pale ale. The tacos were well done with tender meet and not much else, like tacos should be. The bar tender was excellent in suggesting beer that fit my taste. A must try, if you’re in town.

Yelp
2Toms Brewing Company is as entertaining as it is delicious! We sampled the Fest Beer and an IPA -- both solid choices -- and quickly realized this place is a paradise for hop lovers. Their menu is packed with IPAs and sours, but the real standout wasn't just the beer, it was the creativity behind it. One of the beers we discovered was called Hanks, featuring Tom Hanks sitting on the famous bench from Forrest Gump (box of chocolates and volleyball included... bonus points if you spot all the movie references on the label). The backstory? The brewery's name comes from the owner's wife joking that he'd need to clone himself to run a brewery -- so every once in a while, he "releases" another Tom in beer form. Genius. The space had a great vibe, and the bartender (wish I remembered his name!) was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Fun beers, good pours, and even better personality -- definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Great beers & seltzers. The coconut oak splitter was one of the best beers I've had. Luau was cool.

Yelp
Some parents stopped in here during a volleyball tournament while the kids were team bonding. I was recommended to try the pomegranate mule and it was fantastic! Some people tried flights or their go to beers and everyone was quite pleased. Staff were super friendly and they knew some of the group wanted to watch the Masters so they offered to move the group to a fairly closed off area with it's own tv. They also have a food truck on site. Staff weren't knowledgeable about gluten free so I didn't try anything, but EVERYTHING looked wonderful from loaded fries to burgers to cheesesteak sandwiches. If you are in the Ft. Wayne area, be sure to stop in and show them some love.

Yelp
The food was overpriced for what we got, specifically the 2 meat platter for $19. The spicy coleslaw was nothing more than liquidy slaw (no spice/heat), the pulled pork was lackluster, and the chicken thigh was an extremely small portion. Half of the menu was not available due to "revamping", so we made do. Not terrible, not great. Our kids liked the mac and cheese, but that was average also IMO. My husband like their beer, so if you go just for an IPA, this might be the place for you. I ordered a couple different stouts (they had three available during our visit), but two were "dessert-y" and one was an imperial high percenter. The were alright, bit I would have liked more options that were less sweet. The bartender was helpful and friendly and the atmosphere has potential. Just wish the food was better. Note: we were also there during a trivia night, and the host was lackluster, as were the questions. We are huge fans of trivia nights, but this was one we would not return to. I won't reflect this in our rating, but worth noting if you thought of attending for this reason alone.

Matt S.

Yelp
Service was a bit slow, but we were in a large group so I understand we may have overwhelmed the kitchen upon ordering. Food was okay, but when we ordered we never saw the pad on which the server entered the order, nor did we receive a receipt. Lo and behold our $60 food and drink order (pre-tax) turned into an $80 charge. I reached out to 2 Toms to see if they could help me resolve this with no response. The only thing I can think is the server decided his tip on our behalf! Please be aware that you should be shown the screen to confirm your order and tip amount (Be careful on the tip screen as well, they start 20% and only move up from there unless you choose a custom amount). The venue was nice and the beer was decent, but be careful when ordering so you're not overcharged.

Yelp
We stopped in for the trivia, and to try out their beer selection. They have an extensive list of highly rated beers and ciders. Food selection is limited, there is no fryer. Order at the bar (the guy on Thursday was a little standoffish and didn't seem to like dealing with customers; Maybe that's the vibe, I'm not sure) and servers bring your food out. All finger food and sandwiches come on paper plates or bowls. No problem there, casual is good. We tried the pretzels (excellent!), pork nachos (pretty good!) and the cheese toastie (not special). My main complaint is the interior design of the space. It feels open and kind of cold. Sparse decor and odd choices in space planning. For example, from our table in the barrel from (where trivia was) we could see into a bright hallway where food prep (maybe?) was happening. It was just odd. Lots of potential here! Hopefully some care will be applied to customer appreciation and comfort. A little effort will go a long way! Ps. We LOST so bad a trivia. We will be back to try again

Yelp
A very nice and quaint place. We came too early for food but the service was great and we enjoyed our beer and wine.

Yelp
I spent two weeks in Ft. Wayne last summer and loved the food and beer here. So much so that I went there 4 times over that period. The gentleman working the register was very helpful and knowledgeable and fun to chat with. I visited last week and was extremely disappointed. The beer was just as good but the food was not good at all. I ordered a burger and there was only one other person in the place who had been there before me. The burger took 50 minutes to come out, despite several attempts from the woman working the register to prod them along. One burger with no one else ordering food took 50 minutes. The burger was mediocre at best, nothing like the food I remembered from last summer. To be fair, they gave me a free side to make up for it. The slaw was pretty good.

Ronald D.

Yelp
Ate here and the food was very middle of the road. Not a lot of seasoning or flavor. Baked beans should be named "mustard beans" due to the overpowering presence of mustard. Ate here on 1/24, my brother and I who had the chicken got food poisoning the next day too. Would skip if I were you.

Yelp
Best brewery in Fort Wayne, well it is the only Fort Wayne brewery I have been too, but I would bet it stays at the top after I tried all of them! This is an easy to find location, offers plenty of parking, looks like a dump however the inside is ideal for groups and solo like what I needed: a quick weekend end treat myself to something special. Sadly they do not do growler fills which was weird to learn, no other beer bearer I have ever been to withholds their wonderful drips from larger to go tanks. Alas it is so here. I am used to my local Lafayette hot spots, Teays River, Brokerage, People's, The Tap, Lafayette Brewing Co, and Knapptronix all happily filling up the sixty four ounce glasses. Anyway I sampled a couple stouts which were well refined and any other day I would have gone black. Sunday evening hits different though and randomly felt my old sour love seek a match. Hardly sipped their Key Lime and first love grabbed hard again! What a mix, hilariously green and glowing with all the ripe tingly taste notes, I ordered one before finishing the sample. One of the two Toms was a fun guy to banter with and hope he makes his wife's pup a permanent doggy mascot! This is one well designed atmosphere too, big ceiling and open inviting seating. I hope I can wonder up and over here again soon!

Yelp
This place is great. Clean, cool atmosphere with modern decor. Vast array of beers- a little of everything to try. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Food is of the barbecue variety- solid choice to complement the many drinks.

Yelp
To be honest, it's going to take A LOT for me to give craft brewery less than 5 stars....it hasn't happened yet...and it's not going to happen now. I stopped into 2Toms on a Sunday morning because - hey - BEER - and it was Craft Brewery Day (or something like that) for a flight, and because our son-in-law said that 2Toms specializes in some pretty non-standard brews. And that is pretty right up my alley. 2Toms is in a kind of an out-of-the-way type place, not being located on a main road but on a side street, tucked away edging a residential area. The building is kind of unassuming, but there's a cordoned off area up front for outside imbibement. The inside is pretty spacious with some of the brewing machinations to the left behind glass. Tours are available, but Jim didn't have time for that, only for a quick flight. They do six-ounce pours for flights here, so a standard flight of 4 equals 2 bottles of beer. Keeping true to my nature, I had 4 very different, unique beers. 1 - Yorke IPA - New England IPA that is a deliciously grapefruity affari. 2 - WRY - Rye IPA that is a-s-t-o-u-n-d-i-n-g 3 - Stjørdal - Smoked Beer that is, hands down, The Best smoked beer I've ever had. 4 - Benevolent Commotion (Batch #2) - A Farmhouse Ale that is, not only the Best In Flight, but one AMAZINGLY awesome sour. All of the beers were top notch, and the gentlemen that helped serve us (whose name I don't recall) was knowledgeable and you can tell had a passion for craft beer. Now, back to my statement about probably never giving a small/craft/independent brewer nothing less than a 5 is this: In order to open, operate, maintain, and survive as a brewery you have to have a passion for it. Any brewery that's still open this late into 2020 HAS that passion, and they'll adjust as they need to to make sure the doors stay open. Although in-house sales may be down, breweries like this are probably doing a phenomenal take-home business because 2020 and alcohol consumption kinda go hand-in-hand. I thank and applaud each and every brewery I've been to for hanging in there and keeping us hydrated through the nightmare that is the COVID Pandemic.
google avatar

Alden C.

Yelp
We tried out one beer from this brewery and it was an okay experience. Bird Law was the beer we tried out. It's a New England IPA and from my craft beer adventures I hate to say perhaps the not the most memorable one. It was enjoyable enough and a solid enough beer but New England IPA's are very popular right now and lots of breweries are making them with varied results. I really wanted to like this one more but alas it just didn't quite have the experience I was looking for. I guess I'm pretty picky with this IPA style. Perhaps exploring some of their other beers would be something to pursue.

Yelp
My husband and I were in Fort Wayne for a wedding so a stop at 2Toms Brewing Co. was definitely in order. We ordered a flight of four at the bar. We opted for the Oatmeal Cookie Stout, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Barrel-Aged Lost in the Dark: Bananas Foster, and the Festbier. All four beers were excellent and my husband and I really enjoyed them. I loved their space and they have a separate room with a big screened TV to watch sports if you would like. The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. They also offer various food options if you are hungry or just want a snack. Do not miss this brewery if you are in the area!

Yelp
Great beer selection. A good place to get together with friends and try a few new beers.

Yelp
What an awesome place with a great chill vibe. Good selection of beer and food. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
2Toms brews all my favorite styles of beer...sours, saisons, hazy/juicy IPAs, and stouts. No undeserving lagers, wheats, or red ales take the place of the more interesting, creative styles. It was fantastic to find a draft list that didn't have a single dud on it. When visiting, we tasted two (2) different hazy IPAs, the lush mango milkshake IPA, the delicious coconut Oat Splitter stout (coconut, chocolate, and coffee), and the refreshing hibiscus-guava sour wild ale...which we all ranked 4.0 or higher on Untapped. As these styles tend to have a higher ABV, I recommend ordering your beer in the smaller 6oz size...plus, you get to try more varieties! From the exterior, 2Toms Brewing looked to be a so-so chain mall space in a nondescript industrial corridor. But wow, when you enter, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the bigger-on-the-inside, updated interior with modern finishes, concrete floors, and plenty of varied seating options for visitors. There was a neat corner with couches and a large selection of board games, for the gaming-inclined. The Talking Heads and Tame Impala played overhead while we sampled our choices. King Arthur's catering offers a limited menu of baked pretzels and various burgers, but the food offerings are much better than many breweries I've visited (i.e. Hot Pockets and stale chips). Kids appeared to be welcome, which could be a pro or con, depending on where your loyalties lie. Order at the bar; the bartender was friendly and open to questions about the beers' differences in taste/ABV/etc. 2Toms is now my favorite Fort Wayne brewery; it's not often I see a brewery that caters to all my favorite craft beer styles. Visit 2Toms and try something different than your typical order; you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to visit next time I'm in Fort Wayne, to see what sours are available. Hopefully, 2Toms will be participating in the Indiana Brewers Guild state-wide beer fests to save me a drive.

Yelp
Great atmosphere with loads of games to play and seating. Kid friendly. Haven't had the food yet but it seems yummy. I'm not a beer gal but everyone with me said it was awesome. I did try the marshmallow, strawberry & kiwi sour and it was actually awesome!!

Yelp
We visited to Tom's after taking a 4 mile hike and we're pleased not only with the ambience of the place but the selection of refreshing brews, and the very tasty sandwiches they offer

Yelp
Relaxed setting, clean and well managed. It is also kid friendly. They had a variety if beers and a good food menu.

Yelp
Drove by here many times and never had time for a stop. Well lucky us, our son was running late for lunch, as usual, so we had time for a quick stop. Wife (loves her IPA) had the Hop Mess and I had the Cooper, a Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine (15% ABV). VERY GOOD!! Definitely will be stopping again for all their other original beers. Hell they have an entire lineup called Cereal Killer (Count Chocula, Frankenberry, CT Crunch, Tricks and Treats, and more)!

Larry H.

Yelp
Pretty cool spot. Thanks to our server who fired up the outdoor heater for us to sit with our dog . Good beer and a really nice interior.

Yelp
Wow what a great brewery in the Fort. I am on a mission to do the beer trail and tonight it was 2 Toms. I'm so impressed from entering to leaving. There is a private parking lot but the entire building is undergoing a facade remodel from the Fort Wayne facade grant. This is awesome. I love what this city offers local business'. It's next to Fort Wayne curing group which is also local and amazing. Entering the brewery you'll notice it's clean architecture and cleanliness of the brewery. You'll see the pristine brewery on the left that shines and glistens. There are even stools to sit and watch what's going on. The. You'll notice that this is family friendly. Added bonus. Love. And the family style bar tables and couch area along with smaller tables if you want to sit alone. There is a huge bookshelf lined with games for the entire family to play or just a groups of friends. The bar is located in the back with the menu displayed on screens but they flicker to fast and it's hard to read. Lending you to peruse the tap list that's located on the bar. You have to ask for a good menu. We looked at it, sparse and a little pricey. Typical brew food it seems. Lots of tap choices and some can choices along with ciders and wine. We chose the German lager which lent to a creamy smooth feel in the palette. We also tasted gooey which was a tad hoppy for us and T shirt weather. But the lager caught our palettes attention and we couldn't pass it up. Staff was able to answer all our questions and was super friendly. We started a tab and found our seats at one of the family style tables. Wow those bar stools!! Not only were they padded on the seat but the back too. They were so comfortable it was hard to get up and order another beer. Sorry no table service here. Bathrooms are very clean and down the hall. I highly recommend this brewery. A must stop on the brew tour.

Paul K.

Yelp
Might just be one of the best breweries I have ever been too! Highly recommend! Amazing beers and good food, great service and awesome people

Yelp
There was a variety of great beer, and the food was good as well. The outside seating area was great with the pleasant weather.

Yelp
It's another installment of our Friday Night Fort Wayne Pizza Night Adventures-- pizza night 41! 2Toms doesn't have an extensive pizza list-- I'm pretty sure we are the only ones who made this a destination for something other than beer-- and only one option is vegetarian friendly. So, we ordered two 9" cheese pizzas. They arrived relatively quickly (one at a time), and were piping hot on delivery to our table. It appeared to be thin crust, and there was a lot of melty cheese. The presentation was fine enough, and more than made up for the mediocre taste. The crust was crunchy and the sauce a bit runny. 2Toms won't be making it into my top 5 list. And it likely won't be a repeat visit... in a word, it was adequate. See you next week for pizza night 42!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food, good brew, good crew, good time!!! The beers we sampled were great. You can tell they put thought and care into the beer. I got the coconut oak splitter stout and the virtual paradise ipa (hazy mother). Had to take the coconut away from the wife cause just sat smelling it. They have crawlers to take the goodness with you. Small pizza worked for us, but the BBQ looks amazing! Lots of different options. Just as much care in the food as in the beer. Only 5 minutes off of I-65 in an unassuming small strip mall. It's big with lots of tables, board games and fuzz ball table. Worth the short break from the road or if you are in FW for business or curling.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday night. We had the Bananas Foster Stout, Sweater Weather Pale Ale, and Edison IPA. They were all very good. Cool, industrial atmosphere. Lots of games to play. The bartender, Jordan, was also very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Had the Sated Caramel Stout and a couple sours. Great beers and super friendly staff. Tom the owner made sure to say hello and loves to talk beer. Stoked to live close by and call this place my local brewery!!

Yelp
Delicious beer and food. Excellent service. Can't wait to come back and visit next time we are in Indiana.

Yelp
Nice, open atmosphere. Friendly, laid back employees made us feel welcome. They have a ton of games to play, which is always fun when you can sip beer and play a game or two. We got the pretzel to share with cheese sauce and some horseradish sause which was absolutely delicious. We also wanted to share the turkey BLT and we were asked if we wanted a half or full sandwich. We opted for the full, but could have easliy shared a half. The half was like a six-inch, making the full 12". The main reason we went here was because I love a hazy IPA and I was told they had a good one. I will admit I was a bit disappointed. It was definitely hazy, but I felt it lacked the hops that is expected from an IPA. We were also a little disappointed that that was their only IPA. However, even with all of that, I am pretty sure we'll be back again and again and again.

Karlee D.

Yelp
2Toms is great! I love the atmosphere and the beer is really good. Great place to come with friends!

Isabel W.

Yelp
2Toms was such a welcoming, friendly place to spend my Friday! Jordan at the counter when you first walk in was so sweet and helpful, and also very funny! He will definitely help you find the best brew for you. We ended up getting the breadsticks with cheese, and a sourdough pepperoni pizza. The breadsticks were perfect, but the cheese was a bit spicy! Still delicious, though! The pizza was also perfectly done. Thin crust with still the crisp you crave. And, we went with the Chong to drink and it was perfect. No bad aftertaste and very refreshing. I definitely recommend 2Toms!!!

Yelp
Favorite place I been while working in Ft Wayne! An open floor plan, modern vibe, cheap food menu, and delectable drinks make 2Toms worth a stop. The Caribbean Cream (Milkshake IPA) was one of the more unique and satisfying beers I've tried. The pulled pork nachos were HUGE and had great flavor/sauce on them.

Yelp
Bartender was awesome! Not one of the beers in the flight were bad! Food... Well... Off the hook about covers it!!!

Yelp
Such a great place to hang out with a sampling and food. They have games and are family friendly.

Yelp
Very impressed with this brewery! I walked in and it was much larger inside than I would have expected, very open and welcoming. I liked the industrial feel of the decor and the multiple seating options. They had a huge board game selection which I loved, playing a few games with friends is one of my favorite things to do when I go out to a brewery. The music selection was great and the bartender I had was very friendly, great service all around. I got the Key Lime sour and it was stellar, very happy to see two sours on their menu! The Blueberry sour was a bit more tame than the Key Lime but if you're a sour fan like me then you'll love both! Everyone at the table loved their beers, my friend who isn't a big beer drinker got a local cider instead so they have options for everyone. Food options are great, we tried the pretzels and nachos but they have larger plates as well if you need more to eat. When I first got there it did seem a little hectic at the bar because a large group was trying to order. I still got my drink quickly but think that it would be nice if the bar area was a bit larger or there were options for ordering at the table. Overall great experience and will definitely be back, would love to visit during one of their events!

Yelp
My favorite local beer in the area. Some unique and very tasty offerings can always be found. Staff is super-friendly.

Zachary G.

Yelp
The options are always solid at 2Toms - personally I think their strength is in stouts and some of the sours they've brewed. Recently, ROJO was an amazing beer, aged in Tequila barrels and then conditioned on Cherries, Key Lime and Vanilla. Last night I tried the new saison, Mystic Farms, and can honestly say I've not had anything that great in the farmhouse style from Fort Wayne. The food at the brewery is also incredible and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've literally never had a bad experience there. Last night though, it was taken to a new level as my family rented out The Barrel Room. It's a smaller event space yet the intimacy/coziness is the best part. The staff was great in working with us to make our time there was everything we wanted. We had people of all age groups and I heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about the space, the food (especially the ribs), and of course, the beer.

Yelp
Great gem of a brewery! I really enjoyed 2Toms atmosphere, beer selection, and service. I loved how they had different sours, a mix of a few stouts, and different other options. I also thought it was cool how when we were there they did a "name the beer" promotion for one of their new IPAs. The beer is reasonably priced and I liked how they have a 3 oz pour option if you like trying a few beers out. Lastly, the building has pretty cool decor and SO many games. Yay 2Toms!

Yelp
Five stars alone for playing Beastie Boys' Pauls Boutique and Check Your Head straight through, back-to-back. Cool spot. Good beer. Check it.

Yelp
Went here this past Friday night to check it out and it was great! Super friendly service (not intimidating at all as it seems at other craft beer places) and really cool atmosphere. Their beers either come in 6 oz (glass filled half way) or 12 oz (glass filled all the way). No pints. My suggestion is to try 2-3 6 oz options. They also have a variety of board games so bring some friends!

Yelp
Really great beer! Atmosphere was very cool, spacious, industrial and trendy. There is a wide selection of beer 2Toms beer including a guest tap, local cider, and wine offered as well. Service was friendly. The night we were there King Arthurs was offering a bunch of delicious sounding burgers. There is also more of what I would call a family section in the brewery with board games. The star brew for me was the Mango Milkshake IPA, but all beers were OUTSTANDING. Beer was offered in 6 or 12 oz pours, but not flights as of now. I highly recommend 2Toms!

Yelp
It's great, the atmosphere has a nice modern feel and the employees are friendly and willing to explain all the different brews that are on tap. To the people that have a problem with not having a happy hour. Well you should look up Indiana's laws because in the state of Indiana you are certainly not allowed to have a happy hour. (ie. you can't sell alcohol at a reduced price at a certain point in the day). To have any sales on the alcohol you would need to have the sale the whole day. That is the only way around the law.

Yelp
Great old school microbrewery with a wide selection for every different taste bud. Food menu is straight forward and being from Texas the pulled pork holds it own.

Yelp
First, the food: tried a BBQ meat plate with crack chicken and pulled pork. Lean, juicy, dripping with flavor. Famous Mac and cheese SHOULD be famous. Then the beer...might border on being too trendy, but WOW! Tiki Sour Key Lime Pie Ale was really just a liquified slice of pie. Tiki Strawberry Rhubarb will make you question all other "refreshing summer fruit" beers and shandys. The Imperial IPA I tried was a standout; as was the Stout. Fun place. If you like crazy beers and happen to be in Fort Wayne, you really can't miss this place.

Yelp
Well, guess I have to be "that guy". Place is nice enough looking, industrial/hipster look. No bar rail, a few 4 chair tables, and some large multi chair tables. You order your beers and food from the counter in the back. Beers are pricy, 6.00 - 6.50 per 12oz pour, making them 8.00 - 8.50 a pint. As for the beers themselves, they are certainly not worth the high price tag. I tried 2 ipas, a harvest one which was not very good, and a New England style which is probably the worst example of the style I have had anywhere. Neither had a nice crisp hop or juicy flavor, and both had the same funky aftertaste. To me they came off as poor homebrew. The wife had a peach sour, which while much better, still had the same off putting aftertaste. No food truck on our visit, and the house made grilled cheese we got was pretty forgetable. Won't be rushing back. BTW, "no undeserving lagers, wheat, and red ales", now that is funny.

Yelp
Wowwwww! I've been here twice now, once to sit down and once for carry out. They have unique options and the classics so good! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Last time I was there, we had an issue, and the staff, without hesitation, immediately went and fixed it. So impressed with the service. Chill atmosphere inside.

Yelp
Finally made it here. This place is in a small strip mall off Wells Street. For some reason, the idea of it being in a strip mall was a turn-off. However, the place is beautiful. It's decorated in a modern theme, with plenty of seating. It is also kid-friendly. You order from the bar, and take it back to your table. There is also a small patio out front. They have a good variety of beer...I want to say there were about 12 to choose from. They had 2-3 sour beers, which I am not a fan of...but apparently people like them. You can access the draft menu at anytime from their website. So, you can see what they have on tap before you even go. We had food from Full-Circle BBQ which is in the same building. (See my review of that before you decide where to eat). We will definitely be back for the beer!!
