Co worker and went for a quick lunch. We both had the 3 taco plates which includes rice, beans, grilled onions and pepper. He had the al pastor and thought the flavor was great! I had the the barbacoa and it was excellent. Meat was juicy and flavorful. The rice and beans were average but good. I was not a fan of there 4 bottled sauces. Green Verde was too vinegary, the red was medium hot but bland, the orange was super hot but had a taste of bad tomatoes. This is inside a small gas station convenience store and a bit ruff. Everyone was very nice and our tacos were great. We will be going back.

Google
The best breakfast burritos we’ve had in a long time. It’s a well established, popular taqueria next to UNT’s campus. It’s basically inside a convenience store; has a lot of takeout business, and 3-4 tables. Drinks are bought separately from the convenience store. Would definitely return.

Google
very underrated spot for HUGE burritos. the large burrito is bigger than your entire head, totally worth the price. i recommend it over anything else, with both types of salsa.

We absolutely enjoyed the food here. We were a bit hesitant because of the location but we didn’t regret it. The taqueria is INSDIE the store and the employees are very friendly. Great salsas if you’re into spicy salsa (habanero). 👌 Must buy the churros at this place. Don’t leave without trying their churros.

They serve authentic Mexican food here. I had the tacos and the flavors are amazing. If you use the sauces on the table, they really pack a spicy punch.

This place just gets better and better every time I go. Everything I've tried is so flavorful and authentic. All their tacos, breakfast burritos, gorditas, corn in a cup, best barbacoa and tinga tacos, AND their salsas are all so delicious and have a good kick. My mouth is watering just thinking about their food again 💜 Whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or late dinner, I always recommend this place to my family and friends!! En serio, se los recomiendo! Toda la comida está muy sabrosa y auténtica!

I come here everyday to have paratha with chicken curry. I really love it! Goat fry biryani is the best here. It’s very fragrant and it’s of top quality. The portions are very good. This place is a hidden gem for authentic Indian and Mexican food. The customer service is top notch.

(Still 3aguilas but now offering more Indian dishes as well) My 2yr.old enjoyed her rice with their sweet sauce and a touch of Lime 😋 We will be coming back. The cashier was aso helpful in explaining their new menu to us!

Yelp
I'm still on the lookout for an exceptional taqueria in Denton... This place was good, but far from exceptional. It was an interesting taqueria with a Indian menu, in the back of the gas station (gas station taquerias can be the best ones, so don't let that stop you from trying some places) They do have flan which is surprisingly not in most taquerias, and that was really good. Dense, sweet, great flavor, etc and I'd gladly eat this again (only 3.99, so not bad for a decent sized slice). Unfortunately the tacos weren't that great at all. Yea, they had a really good flavor, but seriously overcooked (al pastor, asada, pollo, etc really shouldn't be that crunchy). I did like the salsa with it though, nice little kick and good flavor, but if the meat for the tacos weren't so overcooked it would have been really good, though and easily a favorite. I might try here again, to see if I just came in on an off day.

Yelp
Tried this out for the first time as a breakfast treat for our office. Called in the order over the phone for pick up. They let you select either red or green sauce for each taco. I ordered a selection of bacon/egg/cheese, sausage/egg/cheese, & chorizo/egg/cheese. Each were $4 a piece because I got the 8' selection. In my option, that is a little costly for breakfast tacos but I still gave them a chance and figured maybe they were fuller or better than the other taquerias around the area so that's why the price is higher. Now I think it may be because it is across the street from UNT campus and walking distance for students. Driving in, it is attached to a gas station. Not the greatest location but, in my experience, these are the best taquerias! Little bit sketchy location makes the best food! Parking was not an issue for me but due to the mass construction going on at the time, it is a little hard to get in and out of the parking lot. The taqueria is located in the gas station. I was picking up to go- so I didn't eat there. It's not much of a set up for dine in. The tacos themselves were disappointing. They were not full and I wasn't even sure if they had cheese in them because it was not proportionate to the order. These are $4 tacos and they seemed like very very skimpy. The bacon was burnt, which I probably would have overlooked if the tortilla wasn't stale and hard. These were probably one of the worst breakfast tacos I've had. The red salsa was really good though, so that's a plus. Overall,. definitely not worth the price and due to the experience, I won't be returning to this establishment and can't recommend it.

Yelp
Great tacos and gorditas with asada (beef). Service was fast and food came out fresh!

Yelp
I had recently seen some great reviews for this place on my local feed and I love finding hole in the wall gems, so I put this on my radar. Taking advantage of the students being out of town, I headed for campus trying to decide which of my bookmarks to try. I took it as a sign when I saw a single parking space available and 3 Aguilas it was! Good timing. As you may or may not know, there is a tiny lot on the corner of Prairie and North Texas Boulevard that houses an Eagle Stop with a couple of gas pumps, a salon and The Taste. There are very few parking spots and each business seems to claim several so it can be impossible to find a place to park. So be aware of that if you decide to check it out. 3 Aguilas is going to be inside the Eagle Stop, which is easy to miss as the sign isn't that noticeable in my opinion. I hadn't had lunch that day so I was planning on dining in and then getting something to go for my husband. I entered the convenience store and it was just as freezing inside as it was outside! In the back of the store was an order window for the taqueria. As I was looking at the menus posted on either side of the window, the woman working there was nice enough to point out some popular items and prices. I was already planning on getting tacos, so I was sold when she told me they do Taco Tuesday. Since they write in the prices on the menu, I can't be sure what the normal prices are. I recall her mentioning the flour tortillas are usually $3, but I got corn for the Taco Tuesday price of $1.39 each. I thought rice and beans being $1 each was a super reasonable price! I was bummed that they aren't allowed to sell Agua Fresca, but I guess that's typical for a gas station taqueria. The staff didn't seem happy about that. While waiting I went to use the restroom and I know it's a gas station bathroom... but it needs a serious deep cleaning... and that's as diplomatic as I can be about that. I wasn't feeling the whole onions/cilantro refreshing toppings since it was 18 degrees in there and I wanted them warm, so I ordered them plain and she offered cheese. I think cheese would be an extra cost, but she offered it because I nixed the other toppings. That was nice of her. The tacos come out and I notice the beans are super watery and unappealing, I wouldn't order those again. The rice was okay and the tacos were pretty good. I wouldn't bother with the cheese again, it was shredded American and not melted, so it was kind of in the way. The tacos were warm and the tortillas had the perfect crispy edges, kudos on that. I was told the barbacoa was the most popular, and I would say it was pretty good, but it was a touch too greasy and I thought the pastor had a better flavor and texture combination. The pollo was pretty solid. I only ate half my food because I couldn't feel my fingers. It was so cold in there the cashier at the gas station had a coat and hat on and a space heater. I asked for a to go container and explained the food was fine, I was just too cold to stay there. She told me the gas station employee controls the A/C so I should talk to him. That seemed like a strange response, but on my way out I did ask him if they just don't have heat or if their heater was out. Seems their heater was broken and I certainly don't think he can control that, so I'm not sure why she thought he was making it cold in there. Weird. I thought my food was okay enough and bought my husband a grande quesadilla with beef for $7.50. Unfortunately he said it was just awful. All the meat was overcooked so it tasted bad and he had to chew it forever to be able to swallow it. Complete bust on the quesadilla. It's a shame too as it was huge. I don't dislike this place enough to avoid it, but I didn't like it enough to fight the traffic and parking lot to get there. This place is okay, but there are some outstanding taquerias in town that I would prefer to go to. For me, they just barely made the 3 star rating. But hey, you don't have to take my word for it, it could have been an off day, I mean it was cooooolllllldddddd in there and that could have thrown them off their game. Check it out for yourself and make your own judgement call.

Yelp
I did not like the food AT ALL. I ordered off DoorDash, and it is terrible. I ate half of 1 taco and threw it in the trash. They should be ashamed to serve me food like this. The rice, and beans were also awful! The rice pudding was COLD. Almost frozen! Rice pudding (arroz) has always been warm when I ate it? And there was a type of juice just sitting on top of the rice pudding. It was so disgusting.

Yelp
I order all the time from Uber Eats. I love the street tacos and hot sauce they have here my go to when I have a taco craving

Yelp
I was shocked at the quality and taste of my breakfast burritos. I had a potato, egg, and cheese as well the the loco burrito with asada and it was better than restaurant quality. There was nothing fast food about it aside from how fast they cranked out my fresh burritos. I can't wait to have to go back to campus.

Yelp
Had a craving for some street tacos... I commute from the Dallas area and well I don't eat much over here. This place satisfied my craving although they weren't as great as some of the other places I've been. However, they were fresh and delicious. The only thing that might be weird is that it's inside a gas station. Their kitchen is viewable from the tables inside the gas station and is very clean. Definitely go for the Avocado Salsa, it's super good and spicy!!

Yelp
First time here. Spotted on uber eats and decided to visit instead. The grande lunch burrito was yummy and huge, the service was quick, and the eating area was clean. The salsas tasted great, the habanero one is pretty spicy.

Yelp
I feel like I just might have gone on a bad day but I'm pretty sure the dairy products they used in my elotes had expired. I went here with a friend and she also mentioned that her elotes tasted strange and the cheese they used smelled kind of weird. The pastor tacos were okay, nothing too special, but I do recommend their barbacoa tacos. Also, the location was a little hard to find and it only offers like 3 parking spots so finding parking was a hassle. I wouldn't say it was worth it.

Yelp
I found this place on Uber Eats. I absolutely love it and recommend it to anyone. Mind you, I have a taco place right next door I could easily drive to, but I am happy pay extra just to have their food. Tamales, tacos, and burritos have yet to disappoint.

Chloe S.

Yelp
The elote was delicious, it was a good amount and tasted great! It was a bit weird to be served it in an open cup with a spoon in it while my tacos were in a closed to go box. I mentioned my order was to go but I guess the cashier didn't hear me. I also was charged full price for the tacos even though I've read other reviews saying there's a taco Tuesday special, so that was disappointing.

Yelp
A TRUE HIDDEN GEM! So many people pass by this place and don't give it a second thought, but if you manage to walk inside the Eagle Stop convenience store, walk to the back to the window where these heaven sent tacos are made. I made the same mistake of never trying anything from 3 Aguilas when I would buy a snack or drink, but today I tried "The Beast" breakfast burrito which consists of Egg, Chorizo, Potato and Cheese. One of the best decisions of my life so far. They are made fresh right in front of you, are STUFFED with all the goods, and has so much flavor unlike any burrito I've ever ingested before. They also have a Taco Tuesday where Corn tortilla tacos are $1.39 and flour tortilla tacos are $1.59. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to walk in and give these tacos a try. Get rid of the thought of "gas station tacos" because these are 10 steps above, are made fresh and do not sit under any kind of heatlamp. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
It is a small cafe/kitchen in the back of the building. Great service, even better breakfast and lunch tacos. A few tables and chairs to sit and enjoy but mostly a take out service. Try my favorite ... El Carnivore.

Yelp
RUDE. A while back I ordered tacos here and ordered my food to go. I was very hungry so I sat down at the place to eat at least one taco. The woman who took my order(younger maybe mid 20s) told me that if I wanted it for here I should have said that because I "wasted their plates" I continued to eat my food and asked for a fork for my rice. She said I wasn't supposed to get one because I ordered to go. At this point I was furious at the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . She continued to go on about how I couldn't have anymore salsa because that was ONLY for people who were eating "for here". I hadn't even asked for salsa..... I will NEVER go here again due to how rude she was to me. Also the rice tastes like sh*t and tacos were only good on certain days
