3 Asian Sisters - Review - Lincoln Park - Chicago - The Infatuation
"3 Asian Sisters is a beacon of hope for any Lincoln Park residents or DePaul students needing a quick phở or bánh mì break between lectures that double as nap time. The beef phở from this counter-service Vietnamese spot near the Fullerton Red Line only has a couple of meat options like brisket and meatball, but they’re both tasty and come with a delicate, savory broth. The most flavorful phở is the chicken—it’s light with a comforting saltiness. Aside from their pho, the bánh mì here is also solid, with delicious options like classic pork roll or BBQ pork, all served on a crackly, soft baguette—perfect for a grab-and-go situation.

Chicken Phở
The light broth in this soup is packed with plenty of chicken flavor, along with a hint of onion. A lime squeeze adds brightness to the ideal slurp of broth-laced noodles, shredded farm bird, bean sprouts, green onion, and chopped onion.

Beef Phở
The beef pho here is very light, not too sweet, and not too spice-heavy. Unlike other spots that offer a variety of cuts like tendon or flank steak, 3 Asian Sisters only has brisket and meatballs—we like to get a combo of both.

Bánh Mì
They have a bunch of different bánh mì to choose from, but we like going for the Saigon Classic. The meaty mix of pate, pork roll, and ham is nicely complemented by all of the fresh and pickled vegetables, and the mayo adds creaminess to each bite." - John Ringor
