Energetic queer venue with dance floor, stages, and patio

"This East Williamsburg spot is one of the most fun queer places in the city. There’s an efficient bar at the front, a dance floor with two stages on either end, and an outdoor patio where you can let your sweat dry. Between the music, the space to dance out every word of the song, the colorful lights that hit the exposed brick walls, and the upper platform to perform for the commoners below, it’s impossible to have a bad time at Three Dollar Bill." - molly fitzpatrick, tiffany yannetta, brennan carley, bryan kim, nikko duren, neha talreja
"This is a full-on nightclub and performance venue, the kind of spot where theme nights are often and you can listen to a playlist that doesn’t feel pretentious, with plenty of pop hits people will actually dance to. They have events slated throughout Pride Month listed on Instagram." - Eater Staff

"True nightclubs in NYC with proper dancefloors and lights are about as rare these days as coffee shops that don’t offer non-dairy milk options - but then there’s Three Dollar Bill, a dark dungeon of a nightclub in East Williamsburg. The huge bar area up front never feels too packed, making it the perfect spot for breaks from dancing, getting your fourth vodka soda, and plotting where to eat nearby at 2am (which is probably the earliest you’ll want to leave). The dance floor here is great for doing the two-step, but the upper platform is where you should be when the DJ plays one of Britney Spears’ greatest hits and you need more space to move." - hannah albertine, nikko duren, bryan kim, matt tervooren
"The Well is a shrine to the act of producing and enjoying beer. When you walk in, you’re struck right away by the sheer expanse of the space and then you notice the crazy long row of taps (60) featuring some fantastic drafts from near and far. Take a step through the back doors and you’re in their huge backyard where parties are plentiful in the summer. But the most impressive thing about this behemoth is that it exists within the historic Huber-Hittleman Brewery complex, built in 1866. The massive concrete columns highlight the bar, which—during the brewery days—was used as an ice storage facility. Complete with underground lagering caves, this building marked the terminus of Brewer’s Row, a street that at one time had twelve breweries on twelve square blocks. So enjoy your Pilsner or Weisse in a beer hall with some serious brewing history in it’s bones. The Well also features a back room which is used for weekly events and is available to book for private parties." - Radish Lab
