"The peaceful 3 Little Figs in Somerville offers a bunch of sandwiches, including egg and egg-free options. On the egg side of things, there's a black-pepper biscuit sandwich with scrambled egg, cheddar, and optional bacon, sausage, or prosciutto, and an egg-and-feta sandwich with tomato and arugula on a brioche roll." - Nathan Tavares, Eater Staff

I got the Market sandwich, as a suggestion from one of the employees. I thought the pairing of prosciutto and fig was amazing but the overall sandwich lacked a wow factor so I am giving it a 4. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but just not amazing. I definitely plan on coming back to this place to try out their other items because the staff was so amazing. If you’re in the area it’s worth checking out!

Does get quite full on weekends, but seating usually frees up in time for your order to be prepared. Hot chocolate - actually pretty good dark chocolate flavor, not overly sweet Pepper biscuit with bacon - great BEC, eggs could benefit from some added seasoning but pepper biscuit is delicious

One of the best Cafe in Somerville! They have great food (sweet or savory) and coffee, and delightful attitude. We love the BLT and the Ham & Cheese, as well as the latte. Various latte flavors so people are free to choose whatever fits their mood the best! It’s been so popular that if you are in a rush, make sure you plan ahead! This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

This is just a cute little place. I love prosciutto/goat cheese/arugula/fig jam combinations, so the Market sandwich is the way to go for sweet-savory or focaccia lovers. (Also in my opinion their focaccia is far superior of a breading than any other.) Lattes are not bad - fairly sweet though I appreciate the maple brown sugar & soy options! The only thing is it’s tricky to get seats the later you come since space is so limited inside, so plan accordingly :)

Google
Absolutely deserving of the Best Cafe in Somerville title! The line can be daunting but the staff work hard to keep it flowing and delivery high quality food and drinks! I doubt I’ll ever be disappointed on any future visits. Food: The drinks were very refreshing and a great wake up jolt of caffeine. I was intrigued by the espresso soda and I was not disappointed. It was such a nice blend of fruity flavors that slide perfectly into a familiar coffee taste. The sweet ricotta toast and the egg cheddar sandwich were amazing! The sourdough and ciabatta were the stars and their great bready textures made for perfect vehicles. Service: The staff worked like a well oiled machine but still offered great hospitality! Atmosphere: The popularity does cause the cafe to be busy but everyone was very respectful of one another’s space so it wasn’t an overwhelming crowd. The decorations also added to the energetic atmosphere.

i have gone here more than any other cafe in the world and i have lived in somerville for less than a year. this is my go-to spot when someone asks to meet for coffee. i will continuously update with more pictures (i often forget to take them) but here are reviews of everything ive eaten/drunk at 3 little figs. overall: their prices are truly unbeatable for the quality. the most expensive coffee drink is a $5 mocha and a $4.5 latte and everything is lower than those two. incredible. their matcha latte is $4.5, chai is $4.5, london fog $4. yeah they’re my goat for this. tried their pumpkin spice latte for $5 and it was so creamy and delicious pastries: - apple cider donut muffin: i think of her constantly. beautifully spiced and a little crunchy on the outside but so melt in your mouth decadent on the inside. a wonderful donut in the shape of a muffin. she’s also like $3.50 or something nuts like that - lavender biscuit: I also think of her constantly. crispy but airy but dense and slightly salty biscuit with the most yummy lavender glaze. ginormous for $3.5 - chai muffin: really soft and airy, the espresso icing is so delicious. i do not think of her all the time but she is what she says she is. the icing makes it so cupcake like but it’s the right amount of icing. for $3 im pogging - goat cheese scone: YUM. it’s their biscuit again, huge, and has pieces of goat cheese that is salty and delicious. a great savoury pastry option - chocolate pistachio cookie: she is DENSE. she is buttery. she is not that chewy. if that is what you’re into. just a very good warm dense cookie with melty chocolate - chocolate scone: it’s like the crispy top flaky part of your favorite brownie, but then ONLY that for the entire scone. life changer food: - ricotta toast: ive only had it sweet here (cinnamon and honey) and it kickstarted my love for ricotta. airy, creamy, perfect sweetness, incredibly flavourful yet soft sourdough. banger. she’s $6 and a gateway to other toasts - market sandwich: ive had better but i still enjoyed it (pic) - $11 is the steepest you can get at 3 little figs and this is it! it’s good though, and don’t sleep on the fig jam - breakfast sandwiches: yum yum yum and smell so incredibly good. for $6 for a filling beautifully and artisanal crafted breakfast sandwich? aw yea. black pepper biscuit with sausage is the goat cons: - seating is ez if u come early in the morning like i do. if not then yea it’s hard - too awesome - not gate kept. because they deserve all the love and popularity even more pros: - free awesome water on tap (still and sparkling) - swag too different, service too good, food too fresh, life is awesome

Three Figs is a staple for us. We love the breakfast sandwiches (especially the pepper biscuit—don’t forget to add meat if that’s your thing) and lattes. I’ve come here with family and friends and the environment is warm and inviting. Staff are friendly but not intrusive—a friend and I accidentally stayed until 2:10 one day (they close at 2p) and the only way we knew they’d closed was seeing some movement in the kitchen and table clearing—they didn’t hurry us out. Will flag that they don’t allow laptop use / working so it’s more of a community / social environment (which is exactly what we were looking for). Would definitely recommend a stop for a beverage or sandwich if you’re in the area.

Yelp
If you want an affordable filling meal, sweet treat, or somewhere to get your caffeine fix, 3 Little Figs checks all the boxes! I came on a Wednesday around 12:30 and it wasn't insanely crowded but there was definitely a line and people waiting for tables inside. I ordered online which you pickup at a separate door. It was ready pretty quickly (10-15 min). They have a great ordering system and pickup area. There were a few small tables in the online area that weren't taken so I would pop over there if it's crowded in the main room! Nice menu, wide selection of baked goods, sandwiches, drinks, etc. The pepper biscuit sandwhich was great. Definitely a step or two above your average breakfast sandwich. I really loved the pepper flavor in the biscuit which was perfectly flaky and doughy in the center. Eggs were cooked nicely, super fluffy. And it was only $8 ($6 without the addition of bacon)! Was intrigued by the apple donut muffin so had to give that a try too. Tasted exactly how it sounds. The perfect morning treat! I was a little worried about parking when coming here but there were actually plenty of 2 hr spots close to the cafe. Overall, super cute place, would recommend!

Yelp
Love love love 3 Little Figs. Stop in for a warm drink, a warm smile and a delicious treat. Their chia pudding is definitively creative, delicious and balanced with a creamy flavor, and fluffy texture. Their bean selection is ensured with joy and lattes radiate grace and delicate balance. I find the inside to be cozy and welcoming, the outside is deliciously wonderful to sit at in the sunshine. The team are wonderfully kind with friendly service. My friends have tried their sandwiches and always rave about the focaccia - I have yet to try the granola but let me know if you do, I consider it each time. Big fan!

Yelp
3 Little Figs is a cute, little cafe in Somerville. Although it's always busy, it is well worth the wait. While it's not an ideal work spot due to a no-laptop policy, it's perfect for catching up with friends, reading a book, or just relaxing. Not to mention, there's great lighting! The baristas are incredibly kind, enhancing the overall positive vibe. I had the pumpkin spice latte (3/5). In my opinion, the chai tea latte tasted a little diluted. My friend had the matcha latte (3/5), which was better than anticipated, however, we both tend to prefer a stronger matcha flavor. Nevertheless, it hit the spot! The market sandwich (4/5) was a delight with well-complemented ingredients. On the other hand, the turkey apple brie (3/5), while good, leaned towards the drier side. I enjoyed visiting 3 Little Figs and I'd gladly visit again to try some of their other menu items. OVERALL RATING: 3.5/5

Yelp
Affordable, tasty, & Boston metro area aren't usually in any of my sentences together, yet for the quality of their food & service, 3 Little Figs delivers on all three! I had a scratch made biscuit breakfast sandwich and a brewed coffee for $10, which was a great way to start my day. Lunch sandwiches are $10 and looked delicious as well. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Somerville!

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Very happy with my visit here. The cafe itself is small and cozy. Not many tables so if you come on a weekend, be prepared to wait. Both indoor and outdoor seating (while the weather is still decent at least). I ordered the egg & feta sandwich. It came on a brioche bun with egg, spinach, and a feta spread (I ordered mine without tomato). The eggs were fluffy and light, the brioche bun was soft and airy, and the feta spread was delicious and added a lot of flavor. To drink I ordered the cortado, which was good as well. (Note that you can't mobile order hot drinks for some reason.) I mobile ordered so I can't comment on the service except to say that my order was completed quite quickly considering how busy they were.

Yelp
Enjoyed a super cute late breakfast here this past weekend! I was expecting it to be packed considering it was right around lunch ish time, but was pleasantly surprised! It was pretty crowded and you do need to be vigilant to grab a table during busy times. The food, coffee, and vibes were excellent! I got the pepper biscuit and my friend got the egg feta sandwich. We both got lattes mine hot and my friend's iced. The biscuit sandwich was delicious and I loved the biscuit- it was soft and buttery and flaky. The latte was also lovely. This has been on my list of places to visit and I'm so glad I got the chance. Will be back to try other items on the menu again!!

Yelp
Amazing breakfast/brunch place. Highly recommend and the cashier was super nice. A good variety of pastries. I got the chai muffin but there were other wacky flavors that you wouldn't find at other bakeries. Cold brew was good. I got the black pepper biscuit with a sausage for $8 which isn't bad. The biscuit was a little drier than I would've liked but the taste and freshness was there. The biscuit came with cheese and scrambled egg. I added on the sausage for $2 (originally the sandwich is $6) and it was good but nothing special. Parking is a bit weird cause you need to street park and the inside is kind of packed most times cause there isn't a lot of seating. Don't bring your laptop to do work because this is not that type of coffee shop. Will be back to try the other menu items.

Yelp
This is a must stop any time you're in the area! The first time I came here was immediately after a terrible cross country red eye back in 2018 before a full day of driving and meetings and it was the perfect place to get a breather. I've been a fan ever since. The staff are always nice and the service is fast. It's a bright clean space, although it's fairly small so when it's busy you might have to wait if you want to sit down. The coffees are good, and the food is delicious. On our most recent visit I got the BLT for the first time and would recommend it as a must try!

Hannah F.

Yelp
3 Little Figs secures a 4/5 rating, with an asterisk for being on the pricier side. While everything on the menu boasts tastiness, the cost is a bit of a detractor. The smoothie and breakfast sandwich, though delightful, come with a slight letdown as the sandwich proves smaller than anticipated, but alongside the smoothie I was definitely full and ready for a day of work. Expect to shell out $20-25 for a breakfast that, while flavorful, may strain the average student budget. The limited seating further adds to the potential challenges, as snagging a table post-order isn't guaranteed. The cafe's strict policy against computers, WiFi, and working creates an atmosphere geared more towards quick consumption than lingering. Despite these drawbacks, it remains a spot where one can enjoy a book with breakfast, navigating the fine line between flavor and fiscal considerations.

Yelp
AWESOME. Prosciutto, goat cheese, fig jam, arugula on focaccia is absolutely heavenly. Somewhat a common combination but I don't see cafes with this kind of sandwich often. The savory ricotta toast was also top tier. I was a bit hesitant to try it since I associate ricotta with sweet, but I went out of my comfort zone. The latte was also solid. It was very busy, with the line out the door, but we luckily got a table inside away from the heat. The place is also small so you're definitely bumping shoulders but it wasn't too much of a bother given that everyone in the shop seemed to be in a good mood for weekend brunch.

Steve M.

Yelp
Great baked goods, environment, and coffee. We got an iced coffee and raspberry smoothie. Friendly staff and it's really well priced. Highly recommend checking this little gem out.

Katherine D.

Yelp
Everything was excellent!! I got the egg cheddar and market place sandwich with a cappuccino. Really excellent!

Steve N.

Yelp
It was delicious! The sandwiches were massive and the coffee was delicious! I ended up buying a couple bags to take home!

Tristian G.

Yelp
Love this place Easy best coffee in Somerville, Baristas are great - especially the women in charge around here Love that they feature great roasters like tiny arms ‍ I have a usual here and I always want to like it but lately I just get it for the pure reason of having something in my belly before the day . The pepper biscuit with sausage: Biscuit is great , but the sausage is always so tough and dry - given its a small piece of protein I assume the heat shrinks it . Idk - nonetheless , dry around the edges .

Heidi M.

Yelp
This is clearly the coffee spot of Somerville. I came with a friend around 11 on a Saturday and the line was out the door. The place is very small, though they do have a decent amount of seating. Their drinks are delicious. I got an ice latte and drank it all within 5 minutes; I could not get enough. My friend had an iced matcha and she felt the same way. I decided to get the pistachio chocolate chip cookie, because it was massive and looked amazing. It was pretty good, I'm not sure how well the pistachios paired with the chocolate. I also bit into what appeared to be a cardamom seed, which was not pleasant. Their other pastries looked really good as well. I understand the hype around this place. This is a spot that people from all over Boston seem to know about and it's definitely a place you should visit if you want a good coffee in Somerville (and maybe even the surrounding area)!

Holly C.

Yelp
Everything is delicious! The Pepper Biscuit Sandwich packs a lot of flavor with light fluffy eggs on flaky buttery biscuit. Even better with bacon and tomato! Easy online ordering with separate entrance for online orders!

David K.

Yelp
The spot around here (East Somerville) for coffee & vegan (& not) breakfast, sweet bakery items and smoothies. Very competent people, good vibe, even found a spot right in front. Vegan Ciabatta Breakfast Sandy was a home run, edgy flavors! Same with banana ginger muffin, so interesting and delish. Cappuccino NICE Cider muffins look GR8.

Lydia B.

Yelp
A nice option for breakfast/brunch! 3 Little Figs is a cute place with friendly service. Definitely try the biscuit sandwiches! There's (some) outdoor seating and street parking. Everything on the menu looks delicious, so I'll definitely be back to try more things!

Maddie R.

Yelp
This place was amazing. It is super small and quaint on the inside, perfect for a brunch date, but there is very limited seating. I stopped in for a coffee and some breakfast and took it to go. I got the Greek yogurt with granola and Berry compote, I would go back just for this. It was so fresh and tasted just like a berry crisp- so good!! Their black pepper biscuit with bacon was also yummy! It was absolutely packed in here on a Monday but the service was super quick and efficient.

Yelp
I first tried 3 Little Figs during the summertime even it was hot outside, we went a bit past noon into the brunch service. The restaurant is a small neighborhood breakfast stop located in Somerville, MA. There is street parking on both sides of Highland Ave. My family ended parking about two blocks away since it was Sunday morning and the moment we got to the restaurant, the place was already so packed. Only outdoor seating remained and the sun was scorching. We changed for indoor seating the moment we saw it became available. The interior is very small. Not meant for groups larger than four as you will struggle with finding tables. I really enjoyed their sandwiches and because I missed breakfast, I ordered three. I ordered the turkey apple brie, the market sandwich, and the ham and cheese for the kids. I purposely listed them in my order of preference with the turkey, apple, brie sandwich being my favorite. I love there thick cut slices of sandwich bread. I would totally drop by for a sandwich, grab and go kind of thing if I was in the area. The famous lavender scone is huge! Larger than expected and worth the trip. The cappuccino and coffee was a no for me though. I'll have to go to Starbucks. Dropping one star because there was hair in the Greek yogurt specialty that I ordered. The server apologized and went to the kitchen. Less than a minute later she came back out with the same bowl of yogurt, the hair removed. Did she just plucked it out with her hands? She came back out in less than a minute which makes me doubt that this was a new yogurt that was brought out since I had asked for diced strawberries and they were sold of of strawberries smoothies after my order was put in. I am very disappointed. I wouldn't judge the entire restaurant by the action of one but that put a damper on the whole experience. I doubt I will be coming back soon. And it's now fall since I have been there during the summertime. I wasn't rushing to right a review because of this one experience. See my pictures!

Darlina L.

Yelp
Very cute spot! It was packed even on a random weekday. The açaí smoothie was good, but not what I had been hoping for. It was like a milder form of an açaí bowl in liquid form, not as flavorful or sweet. The egg and feta sandwich (+prosciutto) was egg-cellent. Tasted healthful but delicious. I'd definitely go back to try a different smoothie or one of their iced lattes in the future!

Joy G.

Yelp
So, so good. One of those places that makes me wish I lived a bit closer, within walking distance. We came right around the brunch rush but if you're willing to wait around for a few minutes, chances are good you'll snag some seats inside or one of the tables outside. Though the menu of options is on the smaller side, everything is fresh and made from scratch. Had to try both a sweet and a savory option, and went with the market sandwich (with fig jam, goat cheese, prosciutto, arugula on ciabatta) and the apple cider donut muffin. The sandwich was delicious, all the flavors melding (come on, there's no way that particular combination is not going to work), and while I think it might have worked better on sourdough, the ciabatta held everything together well, with nothing falling out. The donut muffin was also tasty, if very messy to eat - the sugar crystals sprayed everywhere. I loved the cake-y texture, though the actual apple cider flavor didn't really shine through. The egg sandwiches looked so good! Would try the pepper biscuit next time. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the mood for breakfast/brunch. No WiFi and no computers allowed.

David R.

Yelp
This place rocks! Everything from the breakfast sandwiches to the regular sandwiches is of the highest quality with wonderful ingredients, fresh bread and generous portions. My wife and I split a $10 turkey and Brie sandwich and both of us felt very content. The pepper biscuit, egg and bacon breakfast sandwich was delicious and similarly generous and of very high quality. You will not regret coming to this place. You will probably become a regular.

Jane L.

Yelp
Felt like home-made! Nothing fancy, fresh and simple ingredients, healthy flavors, and nice neighborhood cafe vibe. I didnt spend too much time in the cafe but really loved spending my Saturday morning here.

Alex C.

Yelp
Decided to check out this place for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was great! The staff was very nice and all the food we tried was excellent. The Pepper Biscuit was one of the better biscuits I've had and the Spinach Pie hit the spot. We had no issues finding a place to sit even during Saturday morning.

Bogdana B.

Yelp
Our favorite nearby cafe! It's the non brunch brunch place that pleasantly surprises. The breakfast sandwich options are tasty, the coffee is great, there's plenty smoothie or fruit bowl options too so food wise it's a great choice! Our only issues with the place are: 1 it's not really wheelchair or stroller friendly: 2 it's a bit small inside and 3 it closes at 2 pm

Jon D.

Yelp
Been here a few times and it's become a little quick breakfast go to. Egg sandwich's are tasty and drinks range from good to delicious. Place is usually hoppin and can be packed sometimes. Family friendly and usually has a spot open outside. Good spot if you're in the area.

H K.

Yelp
Best cappuccino in Somerville. Made and served right, one size only in a ceramic mug.

Victoria P.

Yelp
great coffee and pastries! highly recommend the blueberry scone it was delicious. stopped by during the week and service was friendly and quick, definitely worth a stop!!

Jenny B.

Yelp
Cute little cafe spot for coffee and lunch! There's seating inside and outside and would be a cute spot to do a little reading or meet a friend. I tried the market sandwich which was delicious: prosciutto, goat cheese, fig jam on house foccacia!

Ariana C.

Yelp
A bright neighborhood gem. Immaculate latte and I will have dreams about their apple cider donut muffins for a long time.

Daniel R.

Yelp
Yum! A very cute and cozy cafe within walking distance of Harvard University. The drinks and food are prepared fresh and with a lot of care! Patrons are discouraged from using computers, so this may not be the ideal place to study for harried students. However, for a relaxing morning, this is an ideal place to be!

Em B.

Yelp
I came here for breakfast at about noon. The cafe is set up really cute, with an outdoor covered seating area, and they take your order at the window. They have a table with plastic ware and water outside, and a water bowl if you're walking by with your pup! My friend ordered an egg & feta sandwich, with bacon added. He said it was amazing. I ordered the peppered biscuit sandwich but since they were out of biscuits, I opted for the brioche and it was out of this world. Seriously, the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Fresh, cheddar cheese, fluffy peppered eggs and a buttery brioche roll. I asked for salt & pepper on the side, and I was pleased that they use Himalayan pink salt! We ordered the sweet ricotta toast, with whipped ricotta on some delicious, thick toast with cinnamon and honey on top, which was the first time either of us tried it, and it was phenomenal. I'm obsessed! He ordered an iced Mocha, and I got the iced London Fog latte, and I could taste that everything is of the highest quality. I can't wait to come back. No hesitation, check them out! This place is amazing, and so close!

Hsin-Yi W.

Yelp
3 Little Figs is an adorable cafe and a perfect spot for weekend brunch for people who live in the neighborhood. Currently, there is no indoor dining available and with limited outdoor seating. Their options on menu were decent from hot sandwiches, breakfast bowls to pastries. We had their Apple Cider Donut Muffin, Fig & Pear Scone and 2 lattes. We were a little disappointed with their pastries because both were not so good and dry with cheap texture. However, their hot sandwiches looked pretty appealing, most people got one, so we think we might have made a wrong choice.

Patrick O.

Yelp
Add some sausage to your egg sandwich. Totally worth it. Service was great as well. They were busy but the worked fast.

Helena Q.

Yelp
Satisfactory cafe food if you're hungry in the area. Line was out the door on a Saturday morning! Egg and feta (6$) had great flavor, but no textural contrast, so it was a bit too soft scrambled egg + soft bread with no crunchy elements. Savory ricotta toast (6$) in contrast didn't really have much flavor and could have used some more salt at least. Apple cider donut (3$) was oddly spherical, which made eating it a bit tricky? However, exactly as expected for an apple cider donut in other respects.

Chengru L.

Yelp
Super cute local spot perfect for your morning coffee and bite. They have the best breakfast bites. The market sandwich is a perfectly balanced sandwich and the ricotta toast is amazing. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

Elle A.

Yelp
Remains my go to cafe in Somerville. Delicious and variable coffee and roasts, yummy treats and baked goods, and the most delightful group of baristas and servers. Particular favorites are the Strawberry Jam Bar, Pepper Biscuit with Arugula, Sweet Ricotta Toast and their occasional sandwich special.

Emily C.

Yelp
There is often a line to even get into the cafe to order, but after ordering here once you will see why! The food is undeniably the best breakfast in the area. Highly recommend the pepper biscuit with bacon and the espresso glazed muffin. Come here and you will not be disappointed!

Husain V.

Yelp
Great little spot to stop in for some breakfast. The food is simple of good. I really like the drinks here as well. I recommend the almond smoothie. I slurp it down in less than 5 minutes, only because I catch myself half way through it in seconds haha. The sandwiches are tasty. My favorite one is the one with the sweet potato in it and no meat (I'm a meat eater). Seating is limited, but if you come on a day where the weather is beautiful out you can sit outside at a table. I'm dropping off one star because I've been here 3 times now and have tried a good ports in of the menu. Although the food is good and simple I think there is definitely some room for improvement.

Julia S.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I'm such a coffee snob and It hits every time. I almost don't want to leave this review because I want to gate keep this place, I work at a phoenix down studios right down the street and me and my co workers and clients love to stop by for a coffee or sandwich. They never miss!

Nicole L.

Yelp
Very cute space with indoor and outdoor seating. I really liked the egg and cheddar (I got it on brioche without harissa oil), and I actually enjoyed the fluffy texture from microwaving the eggs. I also had a really yummy oatmilk (oatly) latte. The lavender scone looked tasty and I want to go back to try the villager.

Jennifer U.

Yelp
Food was amazing, place was clean. Every employee was working hard...and smiling. Even the customers were conscientious of the limited seating and wouldn't linger too long. We'll be back!

Kimmy U.

Yelp
I come here for the LAVENDER SCONES. I'm sure everything else on the menu is delicious (I've heard the sandwiches are great), but my absolute must is the lavender scone. It is about the size of your palm, good enough for one person. It has a nice crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, and lavender flavor throughout. Love the icing and almond slices on top! I've never had a lavender scone like this anywhere else, which SUCKS because I now live in NY and can't get this fix until I visit Boston a few times a year :( Until next time!

Tulsi M.

Yelp
Good food for breakfast/lunch. I got cold brew coffee and the middle East bowl which had quinoa, poached eggs, avocado and a savory sauce. The bowl was good, definitely on the larger side like more of a lunch portion. My dining partner enjoyed the market sandwich, it is his favorite item on the menu. Overall the food is good but the restaurant is very small with limited seating for the weekend rush on weekends. I will be visiting again for food when I'm in the area!

Robert S.

Yelp
I get my coffee here 4 times per week. My top choices the classic cappuccino, greek yogurt with berries and granola, BLT with caramelized bacon and lastly the olive oil cake. The line moves fasted, and the staff is amazing.

Amy C.

Yelp
I'm so glad I came in to grab a bite for me and my family! My Market Sandwich was one of the highlights of my trip in Boston. Hubs' Pepper Biscuit Sandwich was fresh and tasty, but the sausage may have been overdone. My tot practically drank all of our Banana Almond Shake with almond milk in one shot because it was THAT good.

Satoe S.

Yelp
Seems like any old coffee shop at first. Cute tables outside socially distanced and a window to order. They had some interesting pastry options displayed on the window. The difference I first noticed how friendly the staff was. While I was ordering, she talked to me like a human rather than a customer and told me she really liked my shirt. Then the iced matcha latte and dirty chai espresso muffin was ready lightening fast. There is a really nice bike path a few blocks away with some seating so I sat there. Iced matcha wasn't the best I've had, but given it's just match mixed with milk and ice, I never expect it to be blow my socks off amazing. The dirty chai muffin tho, the chai icing is sticky so it will stick to the inside of the bag. Don't waste any of it. The muffin is like a coffee cake and this is what convinced me that this place is 5 stars.

Yelp
Okay, look, I like this place. I go here at least three times a week. Drinks are great, menu is restricted, but sandwiches are good and I live down the street. Most of the staff is super friendly. I just REALLY need to get this off my chest: Today, I ordered online, took a sip of what was meant to be an iced chai, and immediately could taste it was an iced latte with... almond milk? (Two drinks which are... quite easy to distinguish.) No big deal, happens! I saunter over to the counter, explaining the mix up, and the cashier hands it to the barista. I'm expecting a... normal exchange, where the barista is like "Oh no let me remake that," and the customer restrains themselves from saying "if you're going to just pour that out, I *would* take it..." (Lest they lose credibility in asking for the drink to be remade, of course.) But, no! Instead, the barista looks at the lid, and goes "We mark the lids of the drinks we make, and this is marked as a chai. So, no, this is indeed a chai." As I am about to speak, she cuts me off: "I can remake this for you, but it will taste exactly the same." "Uh... Do you want to take a sip of that? It's clearly --" "I will not do that," she scoffs (fair -- not sanitary). "This is a chai. As I said, we mark the lids as we make the drinks. 'CH' -- it's a chai. " "Uhh... I swear on my life this is an iced latte, with what *tastes* like almond--" "I will make this for you again, but it will taste exactly the same." I make another move to speak, before she preempts with, "It will taste exactly the same." She remakes the drink and thrusts it toward me, a bemused condescension in her expression that seems to communicate she's waiting for me to put on a performance about how the drink tastes different, even though we both know it doesn't. Needless to say... it did not taste the same... because... it was a different drink... (Again, I like this place, and this was but one interaction in what must be 50+ times I've been here.) I am just... *mystified* by the intense confidence in the infallibility of the lid-notating-drink-making process. Also, for real, what is the incentive for a customer to ask for a drink be remade? As mentioned, customers are bound by the incentive-compatibility mechanism of letting the original drink get tossed down the drain! I am not from a competing establishment trying to bleed you of your milk products!(!!!) I am in fact strongly invested in your financial health, as I would love to continue eating here!(!!!) That is all!
