Yelp
This restaurant is where the Pappas Seafood House used to be. The Pappas sign is still up. The ambiance was chic and romantic and the service was impeccable. We sat on the covered outdoor patio as they could not accommodate us inside the restaurant with the number in our party (6). The patio was nice, not too hot or cold. We ordered some oysters (raw and baked) and crab croquettes to start. The baked oysters were flavorful and the crab croquettes were crispy and scrumptious. For dinner I had the salmon. There was a nice crust on the salmon but it was a bit salty. The salmon itself was delicious. The filet was tender and juicy. The dessert we had was ok. We expected the cake to be moist but it was somewhat dry. I would come back here to try some other dishes.

Yelp
The restaurant is very pleasantly designed w a luxurious oyster bar. They were generous to allow me a sample of their Matagorda oysters. Absolutely Delicious. This food was absolutely superb. Primo menu. I just left and had their NYE 6 course menu. Delectable and satisfying. The 1st course was amazing. Delicious and I needed 24 more. 10/10 2nd course was different and wildly flavorful. The shrimp were light and delicate. 10/10 3rd Lobster bisque was intriguing. The color of the bisque was magnificent; a deep hue, just like a Lobster. Definitely can taste the depth of the lobster bisque. 10/10 4th Truffle paparadelle pasta. Another exquisitely prepared tasting. Delicate pasta with a light buttery sauce. Only complaint it was slightly salty. Each ingredient was very well balanced. However, when mixed together, it was slightly too salty. 8/10 5th 8oz Beef tenderloin w potatoes, asparagus, and brocollini. Beef PERFECTLY cooked. Those who know beef, know what perfectly cooked is. This was the golden ticket for me. Just a gorgeous dish. 10/10 6th desert. Beautifully prepared and a very desired ending to a lovely tasting menu 10/10. Service was beyond impeccable. My waitress Cristal had a theme for each dish served. All dishes represented prosperity, fortune, good health etc. She was very enlightening, prompt, thoughtful, and thorough. She offered wine pairing w each entree. I enjoyed the spicy margherita; fabulous. The manager and chef were hospitable and visible throughout the service to ensure your satisfied. 10/10 This place a must try if you love seafood and excellent service.

Yelp
Always a phenomenal time. My all-time favorite restaurant in Houston. The food, cocktails, and ambiance are consistently top-notch. But my favorite part about coming here is the people. Their service is one of the best I've encountered, and I travel a lot. I look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
My sister wanted to try this spot for her birthday. The staff were very kind with quick service. If you're coming here for a full meal, expect it to be a while as it is served in courses. And make sure to make a reservation as they are a small restaurant only open in the evenings. First we started off with cold seafood - tuna crudo and shrimp cocktail. The crudo had a nice flavor and was served with endive. We also got the bread which came with butter and blue algae salt. It came with 4 pieces for $7. It was really good just wish they'd give a better portion since it's not even free. Then we had the scallop chowder, crab croquettes, and baked oysters. The scallop chowder was really good, strong flavor with bacon as well. The baked oysters were good but I think Pappadeaux's are better. The crab croquettes were forgettable. Then we had the caviar course. This was my first time having caviar and it was a unique twist to be served with hush puppies. The hush puppies were actually one of my favorite parts of the meal. The executive chef flies around the country to source the caviar himself and provides a unique experience to restaurant goers. For the mains, we shared the gulf grouper, red snapper, and filet. The filet was standard thought a bit bland. The gulf grouper was nice and delicate with a butter caper sauce that everyone enjoyed. The fried red snapper was also great with a perfect texture and didn't feel oily. For sides, we ordered the fries and delicata squash. The squash was the worst thing we had in the meal. It was way too sweet and the overall composition doesn't make sense to me compared to the rest of the menu. It had pepitas and queso fresco on it as well. They swapped it out for the eggplant for us which was better but also an odd dish compared to the menu. It was served with fish sauce and coconut flakes. The flavors just don't complement the meals. I'd prefer a spinach or vegetable medley. The fries were good but the Cajun flavor of the ketchup was a bit too strong for my liking. They brought out several desserts for the birthday girl which was very kind. I'm not a dessert person so can't really judge them well but the favorite was the spiced carrot blonde brownie. They also have some nice sorbets. Overall we had a good experience. I will most likely not be back simply because I prefer mid level dining in general. I'd recommend this as a cocktail/appetizer spot to visit with friends or a nice dinner to celebrate an important occasion. Notable dishes for me: scallop chowder, fried snapper, and the caviar.

Yelp
Had a lovely time at Little's! The oysters were great (recommend the New Hampshire ones this season for size + brine) but the stars of the show were all of the dishes our server recommended like the Grilled Octopus, Burrata, and the off-the-menu items like the cobia. The octopus I recommend everyone to get! Will definitely be coming back since the menu supposedly changes seasonally. Great service and ambiance at the oyster bar with server Crystal!

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations! Came here for date night and sat at the oyster bar. Starting with drinks, my husband got the old fashioned and the Golden Martini for me. Both were amazing! We ordered 2 dozen of the Matagorda oysters (plus another 18 after dinner) as they were that good! Then we shared the Lobster & Gnochhi which was heavenly! Our waiter told us to order the bread with it and it did not disappoint. It was rich in flavor and the bread was perfect for the extra sauce. Ended the night with the carrot cake brownie and wow! Presentation was beautiful and the dessert even better. Melted in your mouth and I'm drooling just writing about it. As of the service, it was impeccable. Our waiter (forgot his name) seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and he had great recommendations. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Yelp
One of my favorite places! Food, drinks, and service were phenomenal. Great place to celebrate any occasion or just go out for a nice dinner. The caviar is always amazing!

Yelp
Service is amazing. Everyone is super friendly attentive and always there to make sure your dining experience is amazing. The interior is really cool and has a sense of style creating a very casual trendy business elegance all rolled into one. Contradiction? Yes but somehow it was made to work. Food was good. Pricey.

Yelp
This one didn't disappoint. The portions were generous. Each bite was flavorful and each dish was nuanced. The blue crab was dressed in a perfectly balanced vinaigrette. The croquettes were stuffed to the brim with fresh seafood. The scallop chowder was deep and full of umami. The tomato sauce in the lobster gnocchi was so fresh and tangy the taste lives in on in my memory. The only nitpick is the lobster was a bit overcooked. The service was great. Our server was attentive and didn't rush us at all, despite our arriving at a late hour.

Yelp
delicious!!! we got the texas redfish, grilled octopus, crisp eggplant, le petit, and the spiced-carrot blonde brownie. every single item came with fresh ingredients, and so well dressed, i can't pick a favorite! these were all recommended dishes by our very knowledgeable, patient, and kind server. the restaurant was beautiful inside with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and they have valet parking. their table maintenance was also on point, making sure our table is clean with new utensils and plates for every dish. felt very well taken care of!

Yelp
Silly us! We thought we were going to pappacitos. We should have known when the hostess shook out my napkin. Don't he me wrong the place is lovely and the food was deliciously expensive. I'm not a big seafood eater so I was a bit disappointed with the menu. Ribeye was 69$. Beyond my budget. I opted for the crab croquettes. I was not disappointed large lumps of crab in the croquettes and on the side with cherry tomatoes. Broccolini as a side (separate charge) was also delicious. Hubs had the octopus and he said it was delicious. Dessert oh yum!! Was the spiced carrot blonde brownie. I'll go back just for this!! Don't get me wrong food delicious, service was impeccable and everyone was very very attentive. You don't have to ask for anything. It's a little noisy once it gets crowded but come early enough and you could enjoy a quiet meal. The old movies on the tv kept my hub and I entertain trying to remember actors names.

Yelp
Little's Oyster Bar was a hit from start to finish. Parking is valet, but it was quick and efficient. Then the ambiance is very modern classy without feeling stuffy or pretentious. What sets this place apart is the Pappas quality service where they try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Originally this place was completely booked on a Thurs night except for 1 table of 4 on Resy. I called them and I politely asked if it was possible to make it a table of 5 for an early mother's day dinner. They graciously said we can make it work for y'all, and the rest was history. Thank you Little's Oyster Bar for helping us celebrate an early mother's day dinner. Food/drinks wise, everything was top notch. Rose colored glasses was their take on a refreshing aperol spritz. For entrees, we loved their grilled octopus, chicken fried snapper, lobster gnocchi, and yellow edge grouper. Then the MUST order items here are of course their Prince Edward Island oysters, and surprisingly the fried eggplant side dish. Trust me and order the eggplant please. Overall, Little's Oyster Bar was the perfect place for our early mother's day dinner. The food is fantastic, the ambiance is nice, and you really can't beat their level of service. Cheers!

Yelp
My fam and I celebrated an early Mother's Day dinner here and we had a very nice time. I had their version of an Aperol Spritz with a hint of guava, Rose Colored Glasses, and it was such a delight! I love anything with guava and one of my fave cocktails is the Aperol Spritz so this was perfect. Our table split the bread service with spirulina butter and raw oysters from PEI and Maryland. Both were very tasty and set the tone perfectly for the rest of our dinner. For my entree, I had their lobster gnocchi which was divine! I wanted more. Other notable dishes that my fam ordered were the Spanish Octopus and Brown Butter Grouper. Also, get the eggplant! The menu was small but everything was delicious. The only thing that wasn't the greatest were the crawfish croquettes, as per my hubby's remarks. Service was very attentive and the vibes were classy but not too over the top. Valet parking is available out front. Would recommend for a celebratory dinner!

Yelp
Yummy!!! the service was good and they educate you with that you order when it gets to the table which i love . The drinks were very good as well . I will say it can get loud and it kind of sucked that we had to wait 30 mins to get a table when we had reservations . It's pretty pricy as well but i think it was worth it . I loved the chowder but keep in mind it's thick so it filled me up . i had a bite of the lobster gnocchi and it was super yummy with a little kick to it. The salad with walnuts was absolutely delicious and they didn't over dress the salt which was great!

Yelp
Little's Oyster Bar was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday and an early Mother's Day dinner. Parking is valet but there is street parking available too. The menu is rotated on a seasonal basis. The highlight of the meal was the service. Cocktails were very presentable and refreshing. We ended up ordering a variety of dishes comprising from both their "warm" and "mains" menus: Oysters on the half shell Blue Crab Broiled Oysters Crawfish Croquettes Lobster & Gnocchi Scallop Chowder Grilled Octopus Yellow Edge Grouper American Red Snapper Curried Rainbow Cauliflower Crisp Eggplant For dessert: Spiced-Carrot Blonde Brownie & Cream Cheese Gelato: Highly recommend this one! Strawberry Shortcake All the dishes were really tasty and cooked to perfection. I would definitely order the same dishes again.

Yelp
This place deserves all the praise! 10/10 service, food, and ambiance! It's a small and very busy place but we did not feel rushed at all. The servers take their time to serve the courses properly (everything was spaced out well) and don't hover over to hurry you up. People were sitting close to us (close enough to ask them what they're eating but far enough to have privacy LOL) Definitely make a reservation! We had the mussels, local greens, lobster gnocchi, American fried snapper, and carrot cake. Everything was incredible. The mussels were fresh and the perfect amount for two. The local greens salad was light and delicious (the candied pecans complimented the salad really well). The lobster gnocchi was perfection and tasty. The American fried snapper was *chefs kiss*--definitely a must. The carrot cake was also very good! I can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
This was a last minute date night spot. We had driven by it countless times but this time we had time to go inside. Parking was a breeze and they even offered free valet. Our servers were always prompt and explained each of the food options well so we were t surprised when it got to our table. The oysters were so fresh and they offered a large variety. Overall the price wasn't bad and we'll be back to try some different foods in the off season of seafood

Yelp
This place knocked our dining experience out of the park in every aspect. The oysters were fresh and the horseradish perfect. The bread was surprisingly unique with delicious butter and blue salt on the side, which added the perfect snap. Octopus was tender and flavorful, and the curried cauliflower was extra good. The service was done in teams which was perfect because they came around anytime they were needed but not too often. The whole vibe was classy but chill. I'll be back! *Tip: everyone was dressed smart casual / business casual, so dress nice.

Yelp
Went here last night for mine and my partners anniversary dinner and we loved it. I had seen it on social media and heard all great things so was very pleased that it was all true! From the minute we got there, from valet to host to everyone on staff, so welcoming and friendly. Multiple members of the staff stopped to say happy anniversary and genuinely having conversation, they were all more than helpful with the menu and suggestions, amazing service. The food...all worth it! We started with the le petit and the blue crab oysters and all of it was great. For entree I had the grouper and my partner had one of the specials, which I can't remember the name but seasonal white fish, flaky with caviar on top. The flavor of the grouper was very good, cooked perfectly and my partner enjoyed his just as much. We weren't going to do dessert and said no, then the waitress said nothing caught your eye. I had said yes but we were full and she said yeah but which one and when I told her she said great I'll be right back. She brought us that dessert and it was on them for our anniversary dinner! Just all around great service great food and definitely worth it!! Would highly recommend checking this place out, reservations suggested they seem to fill up quick.

Yelp
Wonderful experience as far as service went, hardly had to open a door on my own. The ambiance of this restaurant is perfect for a cozy but nice night out. My husband and I went here as a weekend bday celebration for myself sans kids. Was excited to dress up and this is a nice place to do it. I would say ambiance is more dressy casual and you won't feel out of place dressed well but can get away with a more casual linen outfit if so desired. We had reservations, arrived a few minutes early and were seated promptly at a small cozy corner round table overlooking the street which had us sitting very close together but not uncomfortably so. The restaurant was full on a Fri night so reservations are definitely a good idea here. Parking is valet for 8$. I enjoyed the food overall however it didn't blow me away like other reviews have mentioned. I'm a huge fan of seafood but hubby isn't which impedes me trying new dishes and restaurants at times. Opinions shared here are only my own due to that. We had the lobster gnocchi to start, mains of grouper, redfish and sides of crispy eggplant and broccolini. Really enjoyed the lobster gnocchi, agree w other reviewers which mentioned getting the bread to soak up the sauce (we didn't and were basically both taking spoonfuls it was that good). The dish had just just the right amount of spice to it, filled with succulent lobster and pillowy gnocchi. We also both really enjoyed the crispy eggplant, loved the crispiness of the skin and the coconut in the dish was a pairing I would never have thought of but it worked so well. As for the mains I had the grouper and mine had a browned butter sauce which was good but overwhelmingly rich after several bites into the dish. The fish was cooked perfectly but for me it just couldn't keep up w the richness of the sauce and I could not finish it although I attempted to. My husband's redfish was delicious (to me), crispy skin with nice spice rub. He prefers his seafood blackened if he eats it (a la Pappadeaux style) and he also declined to finish the last part of his dish. With the richness of all the sauces the grilled broccolini was a perfect side choice and was the only dish with no crumbs from our mains! We chose two cocktails: bacana cooler (kind of like a pina colada) and my husband tried the old fashioned w the default whiskey. We both enjoyed our drinks. Our dessert was the carrot blondie w a scoop of icecream and there were so many textural and flavor elements in this dish which all worked so nicely together. The description by the server was really impressive, he described it down to the sauce reduction. They added a candle to it when they brought it out and was a stunning dessert to look at. It was comped for us on the final bill which was a really nice gesture. Overall it was a great night and I would definitely recommend for a memorable occasion.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite seafood bar in Houston! Fresh shucked oysters while you sit and watch from bar. It was chilly and a waiter brought us shawls without us asking. It's small and quaint. Wish I lived nearer than six hours away....

Yelp
I made a reservation here for after my graduation. I felt after completing my MBA from UH that i deserved a nice meal. It's very nice on the inside and intimate setting. This place would be great for dates. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing! Everything we tried was really great. The scallop chowder was very rich and i would recommend ordering some bread with it. The crab croquettes and the fried snapper were my favorite! The oysters were fresh and the shrimp we ordered were huge and very tasty! I did not check out the bathrooms but the place was very pristine and clean. The parking was good, not too big but not small either. It was raining that night and they had complimentary umbrellas to use which was great. I highly recommend you try this place out!! The only complaint that i have is that they did not have the Botonist Gin at the bar and that they had no blue cheese olives for a dirty blue cheese martini.

Yelp
I think that lobster gnocchi was one of my 2023 food highlights of the year. I can't stop thinking about it! Sat at the bar and ordered a bunch to share. Bottles of vino, martinis and seafood aplenty. Staff were so nice and easy on the eyes. It got pretty busy for a random Wednesday, but noise level wasn't crazy

Yelp
This was my second visit to Little's Oyster Bar. This time we were seated in the patio area. It's a nice area but a bit chilly in the corner! Our server was Vinny and he was awesome. I ordered the red snapper and crispy eggplant and both were delicious! My friend doesn't eat seafood (we came to the restaurant as a treat for my birthday) and they ordered a steak with truffle mashed potatoes--didn't taste it but it looked good to me! Fair warning, this is a true seafood restaurant! Great food, service, and ambiance. I'd opt to sit inside on a chilly night though.

Yelp
Made a reservation on Wednesday night for a table at 7:30 pm. Got there promptly, and was told that the wait time will be 20 minutes even with a reservation. 20 minutes turned into 30 minutes and the manager came up to us and apologised profusely and brought us champagne and told us that he would make sure we get well taken care of. A table for six opened up 40 minutes into our wait time, and they let the two of us take it, which we thought was very nice of them to make up for the wait time. We ordered fresh oysters, which paired really well with their mignonette. The braised octopus was beautifully plated, tender and delicious, but a tad salty (we alerted them to it when they asked for feedback on everything and they even took it off the final bill). The red snapper was done fried chicken style. Crispy, flaky, and scrumptious with the aioli sauce. The steak was made to order (again they wait for you to cut it to make sure it has been done to your liking - everything you'd expect from Pappas impeccable hospitality). The sautéed broccolini with almonds were tender and still had a bite to them. Ordered the golden martini to go with my food, and it was boozy, fragrant and refreshing! The chocolate dessert was decadent and lush. The whiskey float cuts through the richness of the chocolate and brings it together. Will definitely return because the service and food was amazing. They even noted to do something about the wait time and owned up to their error on not pacing the demand of their patrons.

Yelp
10/10. Definitely the best seafood option if not the best overall option in town right now. The food! Menu changes frequently but I have no doubt everything is alway top notch. Don't miss the croquettes, eggplant or broiled oysters. The eggplant was amazing! We also really loved the octopus, truffle, mashed potatoes. The service was also great. Very attentive without being overbearing. Perfect balance of low-key but knowledgeable. Parking - there is a lot on the backside and street parking. Valet is available for cost (annoying). Overall, don't miss out on the spot! Officially on my rotation.

Yelp
Love! This is not your average Pappas experience. Love the decor/ambience here and the service was excellent- friendly staff and our server Vinny came through with the recs! You may be lucky with street parking but otherwise the lot behind is all closed for valet only- womp womp. But let's get to the good stuff! We were seated on the enclosed patio which does have heaters more in the middle of the room so if you're on the outskirts it gets a little chilly at times. Not to worry, they do have Pashminas do an extra layer for you! Cannot comment on drinks as I took a break tonight. But here are the dishes we did enjoy! Crab croquettes- lovely deep fried chunks of crab meat with a fresh herbaceous green sauce. Tuna Mi-Cuit- served on what's described as a red pepper hummus- again super flavourful. Broiled Oysters- warm and cheesy and cozy Grilled octopus- super tender and again with a delicious green salsa verde-esque sauce. King salmon- very oily fish, least favourite, though the cook was perfect. Needs more of that beet purée to cut the fat! Truffle mashed potatoes- divine and luscious. MUST GET! Eggplant- delicious, necessary! And the desserts all look so beautiful. We went with the spiced carrot blondie. Perfect close out. Loved the cream cheese gelato. Will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Wow, what a yummy night! I came here for the first time on a Sunday with my Yelp Gal pals. It's located at the old Papa's restaurant on Shepard. Nicely and newly renowned. We had a resy, but the place had some open tables. With two areas of dining. Drinks - My first drink was Tropic like it's Hot, as recommended by our server as a popular drink. I liked it, except for the coconut part. I wanted something else for my second drink, so I got the Pink Chi Tini. It was very pretty, but I ended up taking it back because I was worried about the amount of coffee in the drink at such a late hour. So I subbed it for Meloncollins Cure. Which I did enjoy. My other friend enjoyed this drink as well. Food - was so good! I usually do not repeat places, as there are so many places to go in the H. But I would repeat for this. Due to the name of the restaurant, I had to try one of the oyster dishes, right? First I ordered the Blue Crab Broiled Oysters as my starter- which was good, but I needed my crab. My next course I ordered the Tuna Crudo, which was delicious. It was filled with sweet chilled watermeleon dices, crunchy bits for texture, and lots of fish. Every bite was fresh and yum. It's the perfect summer dish. My entree, I ordered the Lobster Gnocchi Pasta. It was fantastic, huge chunks of lobster, with plump gnocchi. I wish the serving size was 2x larger. I would highly recommend for the seafood lovers. I didn't want the meal to end. So I did something I normally don't, and ordered dessert. The carrot spiced brownie. It wasn't too bad, either. Service - was excellent. It's definitely a fine dining feel, without the formalness. We got a good amount of attention from multiple staff, which I appreciate. Our server Robert R. was excellent. But all the staff gave great service. The hostess stand, to the bussers, to the managers walking around frequently etc. Worth a visit for sure.

Yelp
We started off a little rocky because we sat at the bar for 6 min before anyone addressed us. There were 3 bartenders total. 2 of them just kept looking at as. The 3rd bartender who had not seen us immediately greeted when he made eye contact. He let us know our waiter would be with us shortly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. The decor was polished with splashes of razzle dazzle. I loved everything we had. The oysters had a clean taste to them with a hint of salty. The pomegranate sauce was out of this world. Again EVERYTHING we had was delicious. I'd like to add that the hostess and manager also helped to create a pleasant dining experience with their greetings as well. Update: I noticed that all my pics did not update prior, so I added them.

Yelp
When I heard about Little's Oyster Bar, a new (to 2023) chef's driven Gulf Coast seafood restaurant by the Pappa's group, I thought surely there's already one too many of those Gulf Coast concepts in Houston. When I saw that Eater awarded them the Best New Restaurant of 2023, I took notice and put them on my get to them eventually list. Well, I finally got roped into checking Little's out recently for a group birthday dinner, and wow this place deserves all the hype. The interior is newly renovated chic modern, which matches the price point, and sets the stage perfectly for your intimate dinner date, celebration, or business meal. There's plenty of seating options ranging from bar top, to dining room tables, and even an open air patio, but reservations are hard to come by, so plan ahead. The food at Little's is the who's who of Gulf Coast (and beyond) seafood. Every dish that came out was artfully plated. When they say this restaurant is chef driven, it's very apparent once the orders start landing on your table. We were a larger group celebrating a birthday, so we dove in head first. Some of the plates we ordered: Fruits de Mer- Large seafood platter with raw oysters, stone crab, octopus, crudo, shrimp, smoked mussels, and lobster. (the smoked mussels were standout, but everything was excellent) Foie Gras Mousse- A healthy portion of foie gras paired with strawberry mostarda and pistachio, served with toasted sourdough. (strawberry and foie gras, who knew?) American Red Snapper- Chicken fried red snapper and a huge portion to boot. Texas Redfish- Not the usual blackened option, instead served skin on and crispy, with a fantastic olive based sauce. Yellow Edge Grouper- Grouper is good almost every way it's served and this was no different. This one was bathing in brown butter and beurre blanc. Since it was a birthday, we had a number of dessert plates. My favorite was the Carrot Blondie. (Food pics attached) Service was also exceptional. If you've eaten at Pappa's steakhouse, you know that this restaurant group has a capable front of house, and they brought their A team over to Little's. If you're looking to celebrate, or simply treat yourself to one of Houston's top seafood offerings, Little's needs to be high on your list.

Yelp
Wowza this is one of my new favorite restaurants down in Houston! I found this place on yelp and decided to come in for a date with my husband . We made reservations, and when we came in, we were promptly seated. Everyone in the restaurant greets you as you walk by. The service was fantastic , our waiter, and everyone else always make sure we have freshwater, and that there was nothing else that we needed. The food was incredible oysters refresh the Seafood West Fry is everything tasted so delicious! Will definitely be back .

Yelp
Definitely recommend making a reservation a few days in advance. We made a reservation 5 days in advance and were seated right as we arrived. I was previously a huge fan of little pappas seafood so I was quite excited to try this new place at the same location. To start, the cocktail was delicious! We ordered the wild gulf shrimp and the jumbo crab, which they brought in a combined ice bowl. The shrimp was cooked and seasoned very nicely - would order again. The crab was kind of mediocre? I'm not sure if it's the way it was cooked or something else but I wouldn't recommend it to others. The yellowfin tuna crudo was alright. The fish had a good texture but the watermelon could've been fresher or more flavorful which I understand can be hard to find but that's what kept me from really loving this. The mint usage was also a bit excessive in my opinion. The lobster gnocchi was pretty good as well but the gnocchi was a little more firm that I would've liked. The sauce was super tasty and good though so I would try this again and see if I was just unlucky with the gnocchi. The bread was great! The oysters were nicely done as well and had a nice flavor combination. The red snapper is essentially a regular fried fish dish so maybe not worth the price tag but it wasn't over oily or anything so if that's ur thing then I def recommend. The eggplant wasn't as crispy as it could've been but the sauce was incredible and I'm a die hard fan of eggplant so I would definitely order this again. Lastly, DO NOT order the grouper. It was horrendous. Very tough, lacked quite a bit to flavor.. idk maybe I was unlucky with the exact fish we got but wow it was sooo tough - huge bummer when we paid that price. Overall, this place is fine. I would go back for a drink and an appetizer but I probably wouldn't do dinner again..spent a buttload and was only satisfied with a couple items.

Yelp
I recently dined at Little's, and I was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. The dishes were exceptionally flavorful and beautifully presented, showing a true dedication to culinary excellence. Grilled Octopus 10/10 Lobster Gnocchi 10/10 Tuna Crudo 8/10 Oysters 10/10 The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the entire experience delightful from start to finish. I highly recommend Little's for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Yelp
This restaurant is 100% packed, reservation is highly recommended. The restaurant size is considered normal and not on big side. Oyster bar seating is fairly small and indoor patio dining has 2 AC units, connected to main dining room. The restaurant temperature is on a warmer side since connection to indoor patio is open, considering AC is running. Arni (waiter) and Brian (manager) did a fabulous job accommodating with what we wanted and liked. We had "Tropic like it's hot" virgin and pink chai tini as cocktail, sparkling wine by the glass (it was great) which I personally enjoyed more than the cocktails. For dinner, we had: broiled oysters (qty 5), crab croquette (recommended), foie gras mousse (not pungent) with subtle taste, yellow edge grouper (it's battered to be fried I believe, which could have been better without the batter and maybe more flavor added to it), Texas redfish (thumbs up). For dessert, we had: Key lime tart and spiced-carrot blonde brownie. These were both great! I didn't realize that the restaurant is part of Papa's until end of the dinner. I haven't had a dining experience like this in either long time or the first time in a great way. I personally wish that the restaurant has a better cooling system for better dining experience. I give more than 5 stars for dining experience, but 5 for overall.

Yelp
The seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared, however it was very pricey! The service was nice, but we asked him to leave the salad plate with extra burrata cheese They quickly picked up. The wine is at least 17 dollars a glass. The restaurant is light and airy and decorated beautifully. However, in the city with many choices, I would choose other seafood restaurants over this one for the price. I don't mind paying for quality food, but I thought that it was quite pricey. Also, they charge for bread with butter which most restaurants in that category do not charge. The butter is house made. Also,if you order the Caesar salad be aware that they put whole fresh anchovies on the salad. If you're not a fan of anchovies on the salad, do not order it. The restaurant has a similar clientele to the restaurant Relish.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Littles last night and I think it's worth mentioning how ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE their waitstaff is!! As a whole, we were thoroughly impressed. It seems they work as a team instead of one individual waitperson. We were seated facing the dining room and watched with admiration as what seemed like "waitstaff overseers" who were watching tables after the main waitperson left to double back on customers with check ins. You had to see it to understand how aligned this team was. Very impressive, Littles! Also, the food was delicious. We had some fried snapper and the grouper and we devoured that food. We don't often order coffee after a meal, but decided to order a cappuccino with our blonde brownie carrot dessert--which by the way was worth ordering--and idk know that I've had a better cappuccino. Don't overlook this newest Pappas addition. It's a star for sure!

Yelp
A perfect night out. Every dish was loaded with amazing flavor. The summer salad was dressed to perfection, a great mix of savory and honey sweet. The grilled oysters were not overly buttered as often happens elsewhere. Instead the sea's salt popped under the breading. The Gulf stone crab claws were a surprise. I've never had them from a local provider. The manager Joey assured us they'd be as good and he was right. The bread service was accompanied by heavenly salted butter. The main dish was yellow grouper, which was perfectly seared in a tangy butter sauce. Honestly, one of the best meals of 2023.

Yelp
We came here on a weekend night with a group of friends, I highly recommend making reservations as the restaurant was completely packed inside and out on their patio. They were able to accommodate our larger group of 8 outdoors but definitely don't think we'd be able to fit inside. We all decided to eat family style so we tried quite a few items. Oysters: 4/5 we ordered an assortment of oysters from different regions, they were a little small but were shucked well. Yellowfin tuna: 2.5/5 Besides salt, I really couldn't taste any other flavor Blue crab broiled oysters: 5/5 the oysters were large and they didn't skimp on the crab Scallop chowder: 4.5/5 this was also on the salty side but the scallops were perfectly cooked and very sweet Grilled octopus: 5/5 octopus was cooked perfectly and flavorful, good portion size Fried oysters: 4/5 they were well sized and fresh American Red Snapper: 4/5 flavorful and flaky, standard fried fish but done well Yellow Edge Grouper: 4/5 tender fish, sauce was good Crisp Eggplant: 5/5 perfectly crispy, perfect with the fish sauce Levain Bread: Nice filler, nothing special Grilled broccolini: 4.5/5 simple but tasty Cheesecake: 5/5 it was basque style with blueberries, not currently on the menu anymore from what I can see Drinks: We had a variety of all of the drinks, favorite for me was the "Told Yu-So" Overall, this was a good spot for groups and I can see it being nice for a date night. There were some good dishes and then some that were just decent. I don't know if it's necessarily worth the price tag for fancy fried seafood but is still tasty overall. This won't be a restaurant I frequently visit but wouldn't be opposed to coming again. We had some unusual mishaps during our dinner that I won't mention as they were probably isolated events but the service was great and they made up for it accordingly.

Yelp
This is under the Pappas family but the dishes were definitely more chef driven. We loved the crab croquettes and the chicken fried snapper. The lobster gnocchi was good but was on the saltier side, so request light salt next time. The restaurant is very beautiful and modern. We will be back to try more dishes next time!!

Yelp
Delicious food, wonderful service, and a fun date-night vibe. Can't ask for much more! We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Little's and will be back! Everything we ordered was wonderful and the manager on duty came by to say hi to us, too. Strong cocktails- yum!

Yelp
I LOVE every meal I've had here! The food here s just absolutely incredible! Definitely eat as many oysters as you can and come back for more, as they have a rotational selection. The lobster &gnocchi was so divine- get the bread to sop up the leftover sauce! The service is the best out there- ever is so kind, friendly, and excited for you to try out the food. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Yelp
This place was phenomenal!!!! The food was sooooooo good. The service was spectacular! Anything needed is handled before you even have a chance to think about it. They have a community server still where you're assigned a waiter/waitress but then there are additional servers walking around for all the extras - clearing the table, refilling water, even refilling cocktails. The ambiance is fancy/casual. I saw a mix of people dressy and casual. Men they allow t-shirts. I would definitely consider this fine dinning. I promise you EVERYTHING was so freaking good. I will say the desert was just ok, but everything else was on point.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend, from the amazing drinks, the impeccable service, and delectable food, there's nothing I can complain about this place. The ambience is romantic and it's set in an intimate atmosphere. There's valet parking, parking can be tight during peak hours. Our server mentioned that the menu is seasonal to utilize fresh in season ingredients. For my drink I opted for a Golden Martini, it had gin, vermouth, grapefruit bitters and a chamomile licorice stock. It's served in a small glass but they have a little bottle to replenish your drink. It's quite strong but in small sips it's tasty. We had fresh oysters with jumbo shrimp and cooked oysters. All the seafood was great. The oysters were served with a fruity cocktail sauce and a slightly spicy mignonette. The shrimp was large, tender and plump. The east coast oysters were briny, delicate and fresh. The cooked chargrilled oysters were delicious as well. I also shared a scallop chowder, there was bacon and potatoes a d chunks of scallops throughout. The broth was rich and creamy, all it was missing was some crusty bread to dip the soup in. We were suggested to have our meal family style, that way we all can try a bit of the menu. We had snapper that was chicken fried, flakey and well seasoned. Lobster gnocchi was amazing, large pieces of lobster, tender gnocchi in a gorgeous sauce. The crab croquettes were so good. All crab, no filler, crisp and delicious. The grilled octopus was tender, charred and great. We also had a side of crisp eggplant, served in a nuoc cham sauce with thai chilis. I've never had fried eggplant, it was a good side to accompany the meal. Last but not least we had the pot de creme. It was served with a boozy Tennessee whiskey sauce, honey toffee bits, and a toasted marshmallow. It was like having the most extravagant chocolate pudding. So good.

Yelp
All I have to say is this place is spectacular. I came here to celebrate my birthday with some friends. The full service was amazing. The waiter was very knowledgeable and they kept our table nice and clean. They also made me feel really special and made sure that I was taken care of. The food was so fresh. We had the lobster gnocchi, le petite platter, red fish, eggplant, carrot cake. It was all phenomenal. My friends all loved the restaurant as well. We will definitely come back!

Yelp
Okay we went for a drink and a few apps but let me say 10/10 experience. And that goes for all categories - food, service & ambiance. I obviously had to have the golden martini since this was featured in an article as one of the best martinis. I LOVED it. Bold and citrusy. For apps we had the oysters. These were from Nova Scotia, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The salad was the Burrata & Boquerones which was delicious. Loved the dressing. The fries were also great. Special shout out to our sever and the managers. Amazing customer service!

Yelp
I'm alittle bias here because my boyfriend works at this restaurant but he also hasn't had any of the food so maybe not so bias. Service is immecable. I took my parents here last Friday to dine in and experience eating at Little's at a table vs the bar. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly when we entered. We did call 2 hours prior to their open time to reserve a table at 5:30pm which I was lucky because after 6pm got super busy and every table was practically taken. We were seated in their covered patio which was really nice as there was a chilly wind that night and we were kept fairly warm with the heaters going. I had Dalina as our server that night and she gave us great recommendations. For appetizer, we ordered raw oysters, there were 3 different types available that night so we got 3 of each so each of us could have 1. I LOVE their cocktail sauce, it's delicious! Afterwards, I ordered the steak and Grouper to share since my dad isn't a big seafood fan. For sides we also ordered the delicata squash and the fried eggplant. Everything was delicious and we had managers and servers come by to make sure we had refills on drinks, clean plates and utensils after each course! I really appreciated the service! Definitely a great place for date night, girls night, family dinner or group outting. The bar was also very packed the entire night we were there. Their bartenders are knowledgeable on drinks and give great recommendations based off a person's preference in alcohol.
