In the social media age you have to be on game when you're running a restaurant. You never know when a food critic or food blogger is going to come into your establishment. I came in today and was severely disappointed in my entire experience. When I entered I saw a "wait to be seated" sign but nobody in the host area. I went to peek into the restaurant area when a young lady asked if I needed help. I told her I wanted to order some food. She took my order at the host stand and I wasn't even offered a seat inside the restaurant or the bar area. I did take it upon myself to have a seat in the bar area where I had an encounter with, who I believe to be, the bartender who snidely looked at me and I said I was just waiting for my order. He obviously wasn't listening because he followed up with "Did you talk to somebody in the front yet?". I got my order fairly quick in a to-go bag, but I don't remember asking for my food to-go. Good customer service can make or break a business. That's my service critique. Now for the food. I got the All American Burger w/o cheese. When I went to look at the burger itself I noticed that the burger was dry... no sauce. My first bite I found the burger to be bland with a very tiniest hint of salt and pepper with no additional flavor from the missing sauce. This was only the 2nd time I haven't finished a burger while doing a review. I honestly don't know how an establishment with "Burger" in the name can miss so bad making a burger. For seasoning, salt and pepper go a long way. I also use some of paprika in my burgers for just a little something else. As for sauce? If you're not going to season your patties, sauce adds a little something extra. Whether it's just mayo or ketchup with mustard or if you create your own house sauce, you have to have something on there to make your burger palatable. The atmosphere? The music was quite loud. If people had been there trying to talk, they would have had to try and talk above the music. Please take this review as constructive criticism as it's intended.

I’ve been visiting 317 burger regularly since my return to Indy and have been thoroughly enjoying each burger experience. That now pales in comparison to the joy felt having their spicy chicken sandwich. From how well the juicy, crispy chicken was prepared down to the fiery dirty sauce it was tossed in—they could get away with calling themselves 317 Chicken. While you’re there, try the mashed potato balls (sounds odd, but SO GOOD) and skip the mac n cheese balls if you enjoy more pronounced flavors. Plus their team members (minus the owner) are always warm, welcoming, and attentive, but low key enough for me to enjoy some entertainment on my phone while wearing headphones. 10/10 would recommend. There was a strange encounter with the owner wherein I was lounging with my feet on the chair across from me, apparently violating house rules. Instead of introducing himself to me, then bringing the rule to my attention, he walked up to me without any identifiers and gestured towards my feet. I was confused by this and asked, “Do you work here?” At this point he disclosed he was the owner and that “it’s a house rule”. I understand having standards for your business, but I was put off by his approach. This owner would greatly benefit from developing his social skills. Carryout might be a better option since the food is great.

Food was good. Tots were on point. 317 sauce was great and was like a premium big mac sauce. Burger was well seasoned. I'll eat here again next time im in indy.

317 Burger is home to one of my all-time favorite burgers—the Strawberry Hill. I know it might sound a little out there at first, but trust me, it works. It really works. The combo of peanut butter, ghost pepper cheese, and a sweet strawberry compote is unexpectedly perfect. I’m usually not someone who goes for spicy food, but this one isn’t overwhelming at all—it’s more flavorful than hot. I always ask for an extra side of the strawberry compote and dip the burger in it as I go. It takes the whole thing to another level. Beyond that, the menu is stacked with other great options. The Parmesan fries are absolutely delicious, and the fried mac and cheese balls are rich, crispy, and satisfying—definitely worth ordering if you’re sharing a few starters or just want something indulgent. 317 Burger delivers a unique, memorable experience that feels like a step up from your standard burger joint without being too fancy. The creativity on the menu is backed by solid execution, and that keeps me coming back. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend giving it a shot—especially the Strawberry Hill

There was only 1 server on for the whole place when we got there, so it took a while to get seated. Once we got seated though, service was good. She was attentive, and food came out quickly. They have a couple semi-uniqie burgers, and the server's suggestion on what to get was good. Their "smash burger" patties aren't really smash burgers. They are thinner, for sure, but not super thin and crispy edges like a smash burger patty should be. Still tasty though.

My husband and I tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time. I had been dying to try it for months! It didn’t disappoint. Alex was our server and she was so sweet, personable, and expedient at her job. The food was delicious, the serve was quick. My husband told me later on that it is his favorite restaurant in Broad Ripple now!

Amazing burgers and fries. Dog friendly! Sit with your furry friend on their patio and enjoy some incredible food. If you’re into pickles, I highly recommend upgrading your side to the dill pickle fries — the delicious crunch is definitely worth it.

I’ve been meaning to try 317 Burger for quite a long time but have never gotten around to it. I finally got to visit them last week. And honestly, the experience was not as good as I wanted it to be. The food was decent but not totally outstanding. The fresh cut fries were pretty tasty and well seasoned although, not as crispy as they look in the photos attached. The burger however was just pretty plain. Not that much seasoning. Nothing special about it. Still was hot and cooked the way I like it! We also got chips and queso as an appetizer and it was decent. Our waitress was also really nice and the vibe is also amazing! They have a couple walls full of clocks which I found impressive! So overall, I’ll still return to try their other sandwiches. Still a joint I’d recommend trying out!

Yelp
Had a great experience at 317 Burger. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. I had the 317 Burger on a gluten-free bun, it's my favorite and was delicious. Loaded with swiss, american, gouda, provolone, bacon, and garlic aioli - every bite was rich and flavorful. The gluten-free bun held up well and didn't feel like a compromise at all. I got the charged broccoli on the side, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great food, great people. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I don't know what was up with 317 Burger on this visit. We were two of the 7 people eating inside. I think there was a total of maybe 6 people outside. Never seen it so dead. The atmosphere inside was honestly depressing. The music playing was depressing. And it wasn't very cool inside although ceiling fans were running no air seemed to be moving. When we walked in a young man was sitting behind the host stand. He asked if we wanted inside or out? We picked inside. He walked us to our table , dropped the menus and walked away. No " your server will be with you soon " or " enjoy your meal ". The bartender and a couple servers were chatting at the end of the bar. After about 5 min ( I did time it ) the bartender walked over and got our order. We got hummus with veg and pita to start. I liked the veg choices. Hummus was a bit thin and lacked much flavor. I got a tenderloin with tots and husband got a bbq bacon burger. Tots were great although a kinda small on the size order. Tenderloin was just to the right side of almost burnt but it tasted ok. Husband didn't complain about his burger. Over all decent food. Ok service. Lackluster atmosphere. Hope they aren't going under.

Yelp
It's been a few weeks since we went there, so this review is a bit late. When we got there, a lot of people who appeared to be customers were standing around waiting for a table, so we were worried at first. However, we didn't have to wait long. They started to seat us in a room that had a lot of empty tables, but most of them were dirty, so we opted to sit at the bar. I wish I could remember the bartender, she was very nice taking care of us. She did seem a bit stressed, but I could tell she was trying her best not to show it. Other than the tables in the first room we saw, the restaurant seemed pretty clean as was the bar. There were a lot of decorative owls around the entire restaurant which made me think that was their mascot. I think I asked about them, but I don't remember what she told me. There were also a few clocks around the place all set at 3:17. At first I didn't realize that was on purpose because of the name of the place, but I found it amusing once I figured it out. My wife had a beer and I had a Diet Coke to drink. I ordered the smashed Diner Burger and side salad with ranch dressing while my wife ordered the Okie Smashed Onion burger and fries. My salad came out first. It was fresh mixed greens with juicy chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion, and crunchy seasoned croutons. It tasted nice and fresh and crunchy in all the right ways, the tangy ranch dressing was perfect with it. My Diner Burger was two smashed seasoned beef patties, creamy American cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle with their 317 sauce. It was perfectly made and I enjoyed every mouthwatering bite. My wife's Okie Smashed Onion burger was two smashed seasoned beef patties, creamy American cheese, spicy Dijon mustard, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. I think she may have had the tomato takeoff though. She said her burger was delicious as well. Her fries were perfectly done nice and crispy without being over/under cooked. I don't remember the music that played, but I think there were a couple of TV's playing sports. It was a good visit and we will definitely return.

Yelp
317 Burger is a staple burger place that feels like a homey laid back tavern and they are a step above other burgers in the area, in my opinion. I love the variety of burgers they offer with call outs to different regional variations. They have both classic burger styles (thick patty cooked medium or to your liking), smash burger styles (a little thicker than your typical smash), and unique toppings like Brie and blueberry or peanut butter and spicy strawberry compote. For vegetarians you can always sub in a black bean patty and still enjoy the delicious combination of toppings they've created for their burgers. They have a great selection of non-burger options as well including a variety of sandwiches like grilled cheese, tenderloin, chicken, as well as salads. We sat on the patio and our server was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The Okie Smashed Onion Burger was well seasoned and dressed. I love the truffle fries when you're in the mood for something a little more schmancy, but their regular fries are fantastic too - not too thick, not too thin, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and skins on so you get all that potato flavor. They have a well rounded tap and cocktail list as well, so next time you're craving a burger, fries, and drink, 317 Burger is a no brainer!

Yelp
A burger with strawberry compote and peanut butter, are you freaking kidding me...somehow the bacon with ghost pepper cheese gives it enough savory to offset the slightly sweet elements...it was amazing!!! And the side of Mac with cheese...crazy good, they don't have to make good sides...but they do, WOW . Service was great and the environment was rustic but appropriate ...it's a burger joint after all, completely unassuming and welcoming...can't wait to go back!!!

Yelp
Service was great...food was great too!!! Thank you Grace for the excellent suggestions :) I got the strawberry hill burger, I loved it. Shared the wings and the sauce on them was so yummy!! Great blue cheese as well. I'm no photographer...this doesn't do it justice

Yelp
We stopped by 317 burger on a Friday night, probably a little early for Broad Ripple - around 6:30pm and were promptly seated in the bar area. I love the atmosphere inside. There's a few TVs but minimal and the bar is beautiful! We ordered drinks. They have great prices for mules. They were fantastic! A lot of local beers too. We got the nachos. $12 for this huge plate! We were totally amazed by how great these were. We ordered burgers too because how can you not get burgers at a burger place? I was a little concerned as our waitress didn't ask any questions as to how we wanted our meat cooked but they came out closer to well done (). The smash burger was super flavorful. I'll definitely be returning soon.

Yelp
A few friends decided to meet up and this spot offered something for everyone. They have a nice outside patio area and the staff was friendly and prompt. They will give you a paper menu but also have a QR code on the tables. We all chose various burgers and everyone devoured them (thus no photos)! My back bean burger was crispy and had the right amount of bite and texture. Their fries are also very very good, so we all ordered those as our side. We would meet there again for the casual vibe, the delicious food and the extensive menu.

Yelp
I was craving a burger & wanted to get out to enjoy the last bit of good weather Indy will have! I checked my Yelp for burger joints I had not yet been to & in popped 317 burger. The patio was cute & I was happy they weren't busy because I was HANGRY! I had already peeped the mezcal mule online & ordered that - it was good as expected although, I would have preferred a spicier ginger beer in it. My daughter wasn't very hungry so she ordered fried pickles & their dill ranch while I ordered the Okie Onion burger with fries. My burger was decent, I've had better burgers (all around flavor wise, hold the grease) at 5guys the price point honestly is the same so there was no shock there. I just wish the burger had some kind of "umph" . I looooove grilled onions so perhaps asking for extra would have kicked it up a notch. I'm not crazy on burger toppings; because really, just get a side salad! so I did appreciate the toppings were basic on this one: brown mustard, American cheese & two pickles. My fries, honestly tastes like a brown paper sack & I'm still mad about it. I'm such a potato girl & I usually assume NOBODY can mess a fry up esp when they are freshly cut. Absolutely no flavor & tough. If I only ordered the FRIED PICKLES & A DRINK on the patio, it would have been a 5 star. I cannot say that I'd return BUT my server was very warm and welcoming so it wasn't a complete bust.

Yelp
Located in Broad Ripple parking can be a challenge depending on the time you of day you go. I ordered their black bean plant based burger aka the Bikini Burger via carry-out. The burger comes with avocado, chipotle veganaise, lettuce, & tomato served on a whole wheat bun. Unlike many plant based burgers this was not dry and was very flavorful. Served with a side of fries with a garlic aioli dipping sauce. The fries were thicker than a snicker and seasoned just right. The staff who greeted me were very engaging. With so many burger places in Indy, 317 should be added to your must try list.

Yelp
First time got take out on a rainy evening. Got two burgers and chicken tenders. Very very good. Chicken is hand breaded and flavorful. My burger was cooked to order at medium ( hard to get a lot of places these days). Can't wait to dine in for a second visit.

Yelp
The food here is delicious! Especially the burgers, my go to is always the strawberry hill. Trying new flavors is one of my favorite things to do so 317 checks off that box. Service is always good and friendly, I can't remember the guys name who helped it but it was his first day. Thank you for making it a great experience for my family and I as they were visiting Indy for the first time. Inside if 317 burger is a very laid back vibe, dark perfect place to have a beer or a nice dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
First time here. Make time for service, this is not a place to be in and out. However, the service is great. Food was top quality. I recommend stop here if you are in the area and hungry for a burger!

Yelp
Best burgers in town! Hands down! Go there. You won't be disappointed!!! Enjoy looking at all the owls too!

Yelp
Fantastic burger place! Located in Broad Ripple and across the street from Nicey Treats and the Monon Coffee Company. They have an outdoor patio that seems to be very busy during the warmer months. Service has been good here and the burgers are delicious. The sweet potato fries come with a maple sauce that comes warm and is so good with them!! The banana pudding is also a classic dessert and I'm glad they have this on the menu. Until next time 317 Burger!

Yelp
317 seems to be a safe bet now a days when wanting to grab a burger and beer. We sit in the bar area usually and service is quick and food is good. Big fan of the 317 sauce it's like their version of Big Mac sauce and def worth it!

Yelp
My fiance and I decided to ditch our usual spots to try a local place we had never been to before. I will be honest that we only were avoiding this place because construction around it was terrible for a long time! I am glad to say this construction has gotten drastically better lately! I wasn't sure what to expect at this place other than the obvious - burgers! We were glad that there was no wait for a table as we got there before the dinner rush. We were seated in the bar area which I loved because their bar was neat, and I am always interested in seeing the beers on tap as well as the types of liquors a place serves. We started looking at the menu and found that there were so many mouthwatering options! We decided to stick with water, but we treated ourselves to some fried pickles. I ordered a Diner Burger, and my fiance ordered the Nap Town Turkey. I would usually get something more unique, but I was feeling something a bit more basic that night! We both stuck with fries as our side. The fried pickles came out fast which was great because we were HUNGRY! We loved them. They were the perfect crispiness that can be difficult with fried pickles. I am not sure if their ranch is housemade, but it was certainly delicious. We spared no leftovers of those!! The burgers came out quickly after. We thought that the plates they came on were really unique!! My burger had two 4 oz patties which I knew I would not be able to finish, so I took one of them off to give my fiance. However, the burger itself was amazing! It was definitely a classic cheeseburger vibe!! Their "special sauce" was delicious. My fiance's burger was also delicious, but very different than mine! The turkey burger was a much leaner option which was great because it was light. The pineapple and jalapeno mixture on it was a perfect combination with turkey. The fries were also perfectly cooked. I dipped mine in the leftover ranch from the fried pickles. Overall, our experience at 317 Burger was amazing. Before we left, I told my fiance "we are adding this to the local rotation". The restaurant is clean and the service was outstanding!

Yelp
This place is great! Been here a few times now, and it always delivers. Great crisp on the toasted bun, burgers are cooked very nicely. I had the BBQ Bacon Burger today and it was terrific. They have a great draft selection with 16 taps, too. A great spot in the fun Broad Ripple neighborhood!
google avatar

Destiny H.

Yelp
I'm determined to try the whole menu!! I have yet to try anything that I haven't liked. The hand cut fries are phenomenal, the burgers are to literally die for, sweet potato fries, fried pickles and dill ranch???? C'mon!! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. #1fan side note: I will order the dill ranch with basically anything. I wish they sold it in a jar ‍ The staff is friendly, service isn't out of this world, but it is good! If coming for dinner I'd definitely come a little early, street parking can get tricky!

Yelp
I thought this place had a really cool ambiance. The clocks on the wall all pointing to 3:17 is a cool touch. We ordered quite a few things, from burgers to chicken tenders and of course the poutine. I ordered my burger medium and when it came it was extremely over cooked. Very dry!! I let the server know and the remade it. The second time was much better. They were very dedicated to getting things right. The entire staff was wonderful.

Yelp
Solid burger joint, wouldn't get the wings but burger was good. Got the smash burgers, they were delightful
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the Strawberry Hill burger as I thought the combination of ingredients sounded unique. After placing my order online, I got a message stating it would be 30-40 minutes. No problem as I live a 3-4 minute walk away. 6 minutes later I get a message saying my order is ready. Hmmm, ok. I go and grab it. Opened it and dug into a warmish, old tasting burger. The cheese was cool to the touch. I didn't get any peanut butter taste and was underwhelmed by the whole burger. Fries were decent, not hot, but decent. I feel like somehow the kitchen ended up with an extra Strawberry Hill burger, I ordered and they figured they'd pawn it off on me. Cant think of any other explanation how it was ready so quickly and the temp. Disappointing for certain. Too underwhelming of an experience to return.

Yelp
First time at 317. Not a lot of traffic when we first arrived, however it picked up during our visit. My man ordered a classic double stack and I ordered a fancy black and bleu burger with bacon. The burger was cooked to my liking and the flavors merged well with the truffle fries. The Elderflower Sour was a hit! Whoever the bartender was that night should be given a raise. It was packed with a lot of punch (if you know what I mean) without compromising the integrity of the elevated flavors. That's what you call a mixologist mixing it right! Service was solid and attentive. It's also a cute little spot with a rustic atmosphere. It has a cool local, neighborhood vibe that's casual. There is also outdoor seating on warmer days. Street parking was easy but I could imagine more difficult as the area gets busy. If you aren't familiar with the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indy, it is a very trendy area for locals especially in the evenings and night. Great spot for a casual date night, family outing or simply to hang out solo. Will we return? Yelp.

Yelp
We love 317 burger. They actually cook the burger to the requested temperature which a lot of places don't do. They are super quick for take out. We order from here a couple of times a month.

Yelp
Delish burger. Wasn't too busy and service was quick and accurate. It was nice to sit outside on the porch.

Yelp
Fantastic Burger here! Love them! Always cooked just right and flavor/combinations are fantastic.

Yelp
We enjoyed this place! It had a menu with great burger and non burger options if that isn't your thing. The fries were seriously delicious. Perfect mix of salty and crispy and soft on the inside. Service was quick and good! Our waiter was very attentive. Mostly paid street parking around this restaurant, considering it's in broad ripple proper, but plenty of spots!

Jenna M.

Yelp
We used to love this place. It has been about 18 months since our last visit and it was so disappointing. The service was slow and the food was subpar. Our waitress didn't come to the table for over 10 minutes in a half empty restaurant and smelled of smoke. We had to asked for utensils and napkins after our food came, my husband got his sauce that he was charged for after his food was gone, and the burgers were far from fresh. So disappointing for the price.

Yelp
I just had the most incredible experience at 317 Burger! Eric created a new recipe for a burger ... it is called the THAI WON OM and it is beyond words. My server was Ty and he was wonderful, attentive and went above and beyond. This new burger has a secret sweet chili sauce, Asian inspired veggies including snap peas and peanut butter. As I side I got their BRUSSELS SPROUTS and I'm so happy they brought them back. I paired it with a lemongrass coconut cider from Ash and Elm ... what a great experience. I did miss seeing Ryan he is the greatest bartender in the UNIVERSE ( hi Ryan ... see you next time ) YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS BURGER

Yelp
This was my first time at 317 Burger and the experience was great. The food, service, and overall atmosphere were top-notch. I arrived around 6:30 p.m. and did not have to wait but two minutes to be seated. The outside patio was large and beautifully set up with string lights, it was just too cold to sit outside. Broad Ripple is such a beautiful and fun environment. However, finding a parking spot with it being paid street parking can be difficult. Luckily, this restaurant had several free parking spaces in the front. The servers did not have uniforms but dressed appropriately and comfortably, which created a cozy vibe. The restaurant was not super busy when we got there, our drinks were ordered within the first minute we were seated, and our server generously checked on us throughout our meal. The lighting was not too bright and not too dark, with one flickering light above our table that slightly bothered me but was not too drastic. The walls were covered in various really neat clocks and the music was quiet enough to talk over. The atmosphere was cozy and comforting in my opinion. I ordered fried mac and cheese and chicken tenders for my meal. The mac and cheese balls were incredible and crispy and surrounded by a gooey queso-like cheese sauce. You get 5 in an order, and I would definitely order that again and recommend it to anyone who has not tried it. The barbecue sauce with my chicken was not my favorite, it reminded me of a tangy ketchup flavor, but I dipped my crispy, savory chicken tenders in the cheese sauce and created such a delicious flavor combination. Overall, the food was amazing, and we were served at a quick pace by a friendly staff team. This restaurant also has so many options that are not burgers, the menu is incredible, so do not hesitate to try 317 Burger!

Yelp
Yum yum yum!!!! 317 Burger is a gem in Broad Ripple and should be added to your must eat list! We found ourselves here on a whim. My little one wasn't allowed in the 21+ establishment we mistakenly picked. We drove around and after looking at some other Yelp reviews, decided on 317 Burger. We had a bit of wait time to be seated and served which is 100% expected in our current times. We ordered: Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts: amazing sauce and lightly charred to perfection Fried Pickles: tasty and a signature dill sauce came with Parmesan Wings: wings flavor changes monthly as a special. Wings were cooked well and tasty. Nap Town Burger: topped with bacon, pineapples, cheese and bbq sauce! My daughter kept trying to eat my burger and I hated to share because it was so good! Parmesan Truffle Fries: handmade and wonderful! Comes with a signature dipping sauce as well Kids Mac and Cheese: was a penne noodle and white sauce which my daughter loved. Comes with drink and a side! Peach Long Island: I love sweet drinks and this didn't disappoint We'll definitely be returning with our entire family!

Yelp
Been twice for lunch and both times ordered the same thing: Wake Up San Francisco (the 415 Burger). It's bison meat with goat cheese, arugula, homemade funions and tomato jam. Both times our medium-rare burgers were excellent. So high marks for delicious food and consistency. It makes sense given the price ($14-16 burgers), but you get a side and there are lots of choices. Both times I got the Parmesan truffle fries with garlic aioli. Fried to perfection, the latter was worth the $2 upcharge from regular fries, though my dining companion enjoyed her standard fries as well. The service was slow after lunch today which was a bummer. It took forever to get the check, then pay, etc. I don't mind slow service as much before the entree as we are there to sit and enjoy. But when we go there, we walk and I want to get back on the Monon Trail within 20-30min after we finish to burn off those buns! Hamburger buns I mean.

Yelp
As a die-hard burger enthusiast, I had been wanting to visit 317 Burger in Broad Ripple for quite some time. Well, this past weekend, after enjoying some pampering at a local nail salon I was finally able to visit. It was an exceptionally mild day with a nice breeze and the threat of rain, so I looked forward to enjoying their outdoor patio. When we walked in were we greeted warmly by the hostess, however the smell inside was actually quite off-putting. I'm not sure what it was, but in that moment I was GRATEFUL for the outdoor seating option. After requesting a table outside, the hostess chose a table and went to clear it and wipe it down for us. When we were seated, the table was soaking wet, so I asked for a dry towel. She returned with napkins and wiped it dry for us. That's when I noticed that the spacing between the slats of the table were full of trash, lint and dirt. I get that it's an outdoor seating area, but if we're going to be eating there, it should be kept clean. I did my best to ignore it. Our server was energetic, knowledgeable and upbeat. He had great energy which fostered good vibes! I went out on a limb and ordered my first ever turkey burger. The description had me intrigued; Nap Town Turkey - turkey patty, bacon, swiss cheese, pineapple (I got that on the side, but think it would've been good on it too), jalapeno and mustard-based bbq sauce. I just knew it would be an explosion of flavor. They did not disappoint. I also got a side of Kung Pao Brussels, which were also amazing. They came slightly charred with a delicious sauce. My daughter ordered the crispy chicken tenders and truffle parmesan fries. We knew immediately that to-go boxes would be needed. They do not skimp on the serving size. Love, love, love the truffle parmesan fries and garlic aioli. (Just thinking about them makes my mouth water!) They were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. My boyfriend got the Diner Burger with two, thin patties (smash-burger style) and he ate his so fast that I blinked and missed it, so it must've been very good. LOL I was taking photos and he was smashing his smash-burger! He ordered a shot of cognac afterward. We were told that they had Hennessy and Grand Marnier. He ordered Hennessy, but thinks that he was mistakenly served the latter. He'd already poured the majority of the shot into his O.J., so we didn't bother complaining. I would've given them 5 out of 5, but the smell and the dirty tables couldn't be ignored. I can tell that this is a neighborhood hang-out. They're pet-friendly and young, "hipsters" were there with friends enjoying libations. I'm not sure I'd eat-in again, but I'd definitely order take-out.

Yelp
Hands down my #1 burger place in Indianapolis. The food is always amazing!! I've never had a bad experience at 317 Burger. I love the dim lighting inside, it really gives the place a unique vibe. Staff is always super kind & fun too! Would recommend this place to everyone!!

Yelp
Visited 317 burger the other day for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. The last time I went to 317 burger, and it wasn't fantastic, it was ok. But this time they really stepped up their game.I was in a party of four we got a table immediately. Our server was great. It wasn't super busy, our food came out fresh and so hot. I did not get a burger. I got a fried shrimp quesadilla that I really enjoyed. I never had shrimp and a quesadilla before so that was different. I'll have it again.

Yelp
The food was good and we had plenty! Decent prices too. Service was a little slow, I know everybody is struggling but it was usually a while in-between times we saw our server so just plan on sitting back and taking time. We sat in outside seating. My recommendation would be that the restaurant invest in a few tiki touches with bug repellent in them. The beer selection was very good. The Brussel sprouts were the best out of everything we tried. Everything was really good. Definately give it a try especially if you enjoy burgers and beer Also be prepared to pay for parking... you know it's broadripple

Yelp
Hella good burgers and fries. Try the 317 and add pickles with medium rare cook. You want be disappointed. And if you're looking for an appetizer get the Kung pao shrimp, lol it will make you feel good about the bad decision you're making while ordering that burger.

Yelp
If you love a good burger this is the place because boy do they have them. They gave so many options for burgers it can be daunting just take your time. We love sitting inside and looking around at the cool things on the wall or sitting outside and people-watching. The service is always top notch and they always seem to be in good spirits. Speaking of spirits they have creative and tasty adult drinks plus a huge beer selection. If you are seeking a good burger this is the spot.

Yelp
Stopped in for a burger and a beer. Both were great. They seem to have a lot of beers on tap, but actually half of them were not available. Service was above and beyond. $25

Yelp
First time visitor! Great burger spot in broadripple! My sister in law who doesn't even eat red meat chose this restaurant for her birthday! We started off the table with an order of the fried Mac and cheese which were delicious! Much better than Cheesecake Factory if I do say so. They were very crispy and sat on a bed of cheese sauce. For entree most of us ordered the diner burger because we love a good smash patty and they did not disappoint! The burgers were so juicy and flavorful with the in house 317 sauce which is basically just thousand island. For a side I ordered the homemade chips with a dipping sauce of garlic aioli. They also have a great dipping sauce menu if you are a saucy person like we all are. My sister in law ordered the wings with dirty sauce and those too were delicious and a good amount of wings in the order! If we weren't too full we would have definitely tried the funnel sticks for dessert! Great burger joint that I will definitely be back at! Especially to try the Pinot noir that they were out of but the server said it was one of her favorites

Yelp
Ordered to-go and was not disappointed! Fries are included with the burger which make the price point just right. We ordered the All-American burger and Jucy Lucy. The Jucy Lucy is stuffed with cheese and was very satisfying.. definitely one to share (or not depending on your appetite). Great selection of burgers and the menu changes, so you'll find something new!

Yelp
After a long day of travel we had takeout from 317 Burger. Excellent burgers cooked just how I asked. Medium rare was medium rare. The burgers were big and juicy. Mine came with a GF roll that was actually appealing. For sides we got a house salad with fresh arugula. I had a wedge salad but it was already chopped up. Bacon was crisp. The fried pickles would have been great out of the fryer but we had takeout and by the time we got home they seemed greasy. The one unusual thing was loaded fried mashed potato balls. They were filled with bacon and a center of cheese, fried with a crunchy outside and swimming in gravy. It was definitely a different kind of food but pretty good. Overall we were very happy with our meal.

Yelp
i've visited 317 burger in broad ripple years ago with a friend and suggested it to my family after a trip to the children's museum. i only captured 3 of 11 meals. there was also a crème brûlée. everyone loved their food! the quesadillas seemed to be a favorite, i don't eat seafood so i can't say but they were sharing them around the table and saying they'd come back just to get that. i was frustrated not getting a refill on my water and i felt like i was begging for napkins - literally asked 2-3x but our server was nice from start to finish and went over the menu w/ suggestions. i know having a larger group can be a lot. i love the homage to indy and locally sourced food. i'd suggest this place any day and will be back!

Yelp
I used to live at this place as well as the bar next door, None The Wiser! Great food, great drinks and the bartenders know their trade! You need to get Suavecito Tequila, but otherwise you can do some real damage. All the burgers are good and the Grilled Cheese sandwich, is top notch! Fully recommend! Go have fun!
