Yelp
Jinya has always been one of my favorite places for ramen around town, and the Midtown location is my favorite out of all their locations around Houston area. I've been coming to this location for over 10 years, and the quality has always been super consistent and delicious. Being in Midtown, the restaurant definitely does get very packed, especially on the weekends, so it can get a bit difficult to find parking in the attached garage or the surrounding street parking if you go during busy hours. The tables/seats are a bit small and close together, so it does get pretty loud in the restaurant. The ambiance is dark and casual, and the servers are always friendly.
For the foods, you really can't miss with whatever you order. There is a wide selection of ramen to choose from, and the broths are always super flavorful. You can customize the spice level, add additional toppings, and/or substitute the ramen noodle. My absolute favorite ramen are the Jinya Tonkotsu Black ramen and the Wonton Chicken Ramen. I also really love their rice bowls, especially the Pork Chashu bowl. I also really like their selections of appetizers, especially the Pork Gyoza and the Takoyaki.
