Great community farmers market met local vendors that were so sweet. The fact it’s open year round is amazing. Got multiple vegetables and fruits from different vendors, flowers, and the crab and shrimp. Empanadas were incredible. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back often.

My favorite dish is the mushroom tacos; they are juicy, and you can request extra toppings if you’d like! The chai stand is excellent as well, and all the natural drinks and meals are very satisfying. Let's not forget everyone's great efforts at each stand, providing outstanding customer service!

I came here for incense…3 hours later 🤦🏾‍♀️ i headed out with 2 bags full of fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies. I think I’m home free, I made it out… then I pass what I thought was a lamb gyro stand. I’ve been in the sun, walking around…it’s almost noon, sure, I could use a bite. I stop and ask the lovely vendor, is that chicken or lamb? Because it smells delicious! She smiles and replies….oh it’s mushrooms and it’s soooooo good?! Gurol what!! IKYFL! But I’m alright stuck because they smell sooo good. Baybeeeeeee when I tell you, that wrap didn’t make it out of my parking space. I sat there and DEMOLISHED THAT wrap… now I’m contemplating alllll my life decisions. Amazing! Top tier customer service and I’m mad I didn’t get 2. Oh! I’ll be back! Sincerely signed, a Carnivore contemplating her total life decisions

Google
The best farmers market in all the land! Truly, puts the charm in charm city. Coffee upon entry @ Zekes, several stands accept debit/credit in addition to cash, and local musicians keep the vibes high. Def recommend for grocery shopping or just swinging by for a treat.

Google
What a lovely market! There is a great mix of local produce throughout the summer, along with a scattering of hand made craft items. Custom-made hats, handbags, jewelry, and leather products There are a few "guest" vendor spots every weekend that are filled by a variety of unique entrepreneurs. I really enjoy it year round. Occasionally, there are local musicians. The parking lot is tight, but turnover is fast

Google
I love this market! The foods, the people, the sounds, the smells...what a great way to start a Saturday. The Goat Cheese Lady, the Empanadas, the great smelling oils, breads, veggies, vegan food delivery service, sprouts, the pot pie Dad are just some of the must visit booths...and there are so many more. Looking forward to Saturday morning!

Google
Luscious variety of fresh produce; high-quality eggs, meats, and seafood; and yummy ready-to-eat prepared foods, from warming winter soups to cooling fresh fruit popsicles. Plus interesting artisan wares and lovely clothing. Always friendly, festive and fun!

Google
Very well organized and many, many vendors. Live music too. Great food and produce options. Local spirits vendors, olives and olive oil, aromatic oils, jewelry, crystals, some clothing, vegetables, herbs and plants galore. The colors alone were a feast for the eyes to behold! Fresh meats, eggs, and cheeses. There was even a pair of sweet baby fainting goats. Places to sit, eat, relax available, and more. This is a must go -- support local farmers and entrepreneurs.

Yelp
Writing this from the car because it's cold haha. Started coming to this market because it's open year round and another one I frequent closed for the season. I appreciate that some of the same vendors are at both markets but I also like that I've found some new ones. For example, I got a double chai that was hand poured and being made at their booth. It is a sliding scale of what you pay and I paid full price. My chai came with a nice, what was described as Indian biscotti, biscotti to go with mine but there sre other great options you can pick from. The chai is lovely and not overly sweet. I don't remember the name and I apparently deleted my receipt but I'll definitely be back. Fish Baltimore is a vendor there as well and you can get wild caught blue catfish, which is nice and meaty. I appreciate that I can get this fish to help lower the population fresh and not just from restaurants. Uptown Bakers is also there and we live their bread so I don't have to make any lol. I like that there's an area for parking at this market with an attendant there to help. The layout is a little weird but maybe it's because it was a little more scarce for vendors and I felt like there were more food vendors than farm vendors. Overall, it's a solid market to visit.

Yelp
All love here! New fan here. Open all year around from what I've been told. Majority of the vendors take cash app, venmo, Zelle and Apple Pay. Some only accept Cash. Less crowded as one of our most popular farmer's markets. LOVED the cider, apples, sweet peppers, and kale from quite a few vendors. Here are a few pics from my favs. Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
This is a very good farmers market, with a good mix of actual farm stands, food vendors, and other businesses. Highly recommend getting a breakfast crepe to eat as you walk around, and possibly some beignets. There are usually at least two musicians at different spots, an accordion and a guitar. The market is very kid friendly, but they do not allow dogs.

Yelp
2 1/2 stars I wasn't a fan of this farmers market. Ok vendors not a lot of selection like the one on Sunday. Would I come again - No * 1 star taken off due to no security and meth heads walking up to folks requesting money!!

Dan H.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best markets around. Whenever we bring someone new or from out of town they are blown away. We go almost every week and get to choose from a great selection of produce, meats and poultry, baked goods, merchants, beverages, and prepared food options. Special shout outs to Martin Farms, Blacksauce kitchen, the Big Bean theory, tibetan emporium, Motzi Bread, Andy's Eggs, Black Rock Orchard, Farm Alliance of Baltimore, Saigon Remembered, La Bohemia Bakery, DMV empanadas, paradise Island Cuisine and the beignet ladies!

Yelp
When I walk to the waverly farmers market every Saturday 7-12 am, I realize I'm living in city heaven. Walking distance! Fabulous foods! Great prices! Delightful ambience! Open all year round! What joy!

Yelp
This is an amazing farmers market. It's pretty large - with varied vendors: produce, pickles, baked goods, coffee, and more! Parking near the market seemed tough; there is a parking area, but not enough spots for everyone at the market, so people were waiting for spots to open up. It seemed like a lot of people parked on the street a block or a few blocks away to avoid this. I walked, so I didn't have to worry about it! I explored for an hour or so. I started by getting some coffee from Zeke's Coffee. Then I bought a huge container of horseradish pickles from Phil's Dills and blueberries, fresh peas, and cherry tomatoes from one of the produce vendors. Everything I bought was really great, and it was a really fun, vibrant market to explore. Even if it weren't walking distance from where I lived, I'd want to go to this market often! I've got plans on Saturday mornings now!

Yelp
32nd Street Farmers Market is the go-to place for fresh produce in north Baltimore! Opening early on Sat morning, it pays to arrive early and have the best pick of leaves, eggs, and yummy pastries. Even though I live in east Balt, I often eschew the mt vernon farmers market in favor of 32nd street because of one of my favorite stalls - Bramble Bakes! Bramble bakes makes the tastiest things - scones, babka knots, and cookies (purchased day of) and even delicious custom cakes like tahini carrot cake and earl gray blueberry (ordered in advance). They often sell out by 9:30 or 10am though so again I recommend arriving early. We also love getting farm fresh eggs and picking up some interesting mushrooms from the stands nearby. This is a thriving market and I know you will find something useful for your next cooking project.

Yelp
A non-commercial farmers market with real farmers and community activists running it, making sure the food really is produced by the vendors (except in winter to keep food flowing to the residents depending on it), making sure the surrounding community is really served, cleaning up the area around it and turning it into park/play areas. It's in a city parking lot they take over saturdays and have expanded with decent turnover so parking's not a hassle. Some of the farmers and street musicians are amusing, the quality of the produce top notch, like dozens of kinds of apples in fall, many kinds of tomatoes in summer til October or so, great corn, good dairy itmes including fabulous ice cream, and the farmers come from a wide range of climate, from teh sandy low Eastern Shore to the mountains in central MD, so weather issues are decreased.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite discoveries since moving to Baltimore. Located in the heart of Charles village is this fantastic gem that's got everything you need. Come through with a reusable bag, your container filled with compost, and a mug for coffee to make your Saturday morning complete. Okay maybe you don't need the compost container, but there's a place for it! Walk into this market and immediately get hit with a variety of smells like freshly brewed coffee, empanadas, and biscuits and gravy. If you brought that mug, check out Zeke's coffee for a discounted cup. Take a look around to find fresh produce, kombucha, fair trade products, and distillery samples. My personal favorite next stop is Bottoms Up Bagels. They are a jersey style bagel spot with some quality sandwiches and a spreads. If your a Jersey native like me, don't forget the taylor ham. Will definitely be visiting as a weekly treat!

Yelp
I love me a good Farmer's Market and normally (pre pandemic), I frequented the FM under 83, off Guilford Road. I have yet to check it out this year bc it's such a huge space. I'm not trying to be around that many people just yet *mask up*. Instead, I ventured to the much smaller FM @ 32nd street in Charles Village (Saturday's only). As usual, it didn't disappoint. There were quite a few patrons but most were practicing safeguards & remaining socially distant. I opted to stop by my regular FM vendor, Neopol Smokery (one of my faves), I got the following: 1) Salmon Salad - Delicious. I added chopped chive when I got home. Yummmmers!!! SCORE!!! 2) Mushroom & Three Cheese Pie. This tasty treat is made w/ shiitake and a couple other mushrooms, baba ghanoush and a mint/ cilantro crema. They come in two sizes. I got the larger size. It fits the palm of my hand. And I have big hands. It must weigh a couple pounds. It's definitely sizable. It's also completely vegan and delicious! SCORE! 3) Ginger Lemonade - this lemonade is always a hit w/ me. They also have a cardamom version that I can't wait to try. I also decided to grab some produce bc it looked so good. I got: Chives, Peppers, Ginger, Roma tomatoes, Baby cucumbers. Oh, and I had to stop by "Phill's Dills". I happen to LOVE pickles & olives. The briny taste is delicious to me. There's a vendor that only sells pickles and they are so sour / sweet / hot / spicy (depends on what you like) & packed full of flavor. I chose Garlic Dill Pickles and they did not disappoint. SCORE!! I also stopped by Atwaters and grabbed a 1) Cheddar Biscuit and a 2) Brownie. Ehhhh. Both were too dry/ crumbly. I brought the biscuit home, sliced in half and slathered the insides w/ a basil lime butter I made and seared it in a pan. DELISH!!!! The brownie, I spritzed w/ water and put in the same pan, covered, to heat thru. Ate that w/ ice cream. Yummmm-o!! SCORE!!! (Once I got home and brought them back to life)

Yelp
Being from California I really miss having year-round farmers markets. The 32nd St. farmers market is a good substitute. You have lots of excellent, fresh produce, street vendors with prepared items and crafts, and all the accoutrements you would expect. Parking can be a little crazy but the parking lot has really fast turnover so it's not that bad.

Yelp
This farmers market has become my favorite Saturday market. It's a smidge out of the way from me (I live in Canton) but definitely worth the trip. I first discovered it when I would pickup orders from Liberty Delight Farms. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it's worth it. My favorite stalls are Pie Time, Liberty Delight Farms, and Bramble Baking Co. I've bought vegetables and herbs from several stalls and loved them. One of these days I'll make it when Blacksauce is also there..... :)

Yelp
Absolutely love this farmers market! It is great that it is open year round! The variety of vendors is wonderful! There are plenty of options for fresh produce plus yummy treats you can buy and enjoy right then! Also I love the options for buying fresh flowers and the ability to make your own bouquet! The vendors are well spread out so it never feels very crowded! Probably my favorite farmers markets in the Baltimore area!

Yelp
32nd Street Market is the go-to place for fresh and locally sourced food that supports small businesses and patrons living in the area. Especially during the pandemic, it is more important than ever to shop small and ethically. The open space outside provides a sense of ease that I do not get when I go into cramped grocery stores that do not stick with the occupancy regulations. Some stalls do not accept cards so make sure to bring some cash, If you forget, that's ok because they have a stall where you can pay for tokens and a service fee to use to exchange for your goods. Be sure to bring some reusable bags!

J K.

Yelp
Such a great farmers' market. Parking can be dicey but well worth circling block a couple of times.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this Farmer's Market, and I'm a regular here. The market boasts a wide variety of local, fresh, and organic foods. It's the perfect location to buy groceries for the week while picking up breakfast for the day. My favorite vendors include Atwater's Bakery, Zeke's coffee, and a specialty stand that offers Ethiopian fare. There is also a big food stand that sells apples/ciders and several smaller stands that sell local vegetables. All in all, bring your reusable grocery bags and explore one of Baltimore's hidden gems.
google avatar

Nina B.

Yelp
I love coming to this farmers market year round! Parking can sometimes be a pain on nice days but you can still find it within walking distance, just need to circle a few times sometimes. I love the selection of vendors with some of my favorites being Bramble Bakes, south mountain creamery, liberty farms, dimitris olive oil, and a produce stand that sells jams/jellies that pair great with cheeses!

Yelp
Fantastic outdoor market w an on premises parking lot, local street parking, fresh Hot Food vendors, fresh local farm veggies and dairy, fresh meats, vegan options, pure juices and smoothies and condiments (honey, spices, etc). There were also scentful vendors w oils, incense, soaps, etc as well as a local wine entrepreneur. All vendors were very kind and customer service oriented as well as provided item samples.

Yelp
Any and everything you could possibly want. Great quality of baked goods, dairy products, spirits, flowers, produce, and crafts. The market opens at 7 and I went at 10 and there was still plenty of goods left. Great place for a family outing but no dogs allowed. I had Black Sauce biscuits. The chicken biscuit was phenomenal, fresh and made to order. There were tables close by to eat on as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Compared to the Baltimore Farmers' Market and Bazaar, this farmers' market is a lot smaller, but still great! It has everything you would expect at a farmers' market...except kettle corn :( . Oh well, there are still hella different foods to try like mini pies, mango sticky rice, and pastries. Everything was pretty good except for the empanadas I tried. Sold for $5 EACH or 2 for $8, these tiny meat pockets were not worth. All in all, I see myself returning here often!

Yelp
After hearing a lot about the market under the JFX and how big it is, it is still a trek for my wife and I to get out there, but we were told that the 32nd St Farmers Market was a nice walk away from our place. My wife and I have already been several times and we are thankful that it is open year around as opposed to most other markets in the area are seasonal. One thing to share is that it is dependent on the weather, one day I went when it was cold and rainy and it was really sparse, in fact the only hot food that was available was from the empanada vendor, but on sunny days, the place is packed. There are some vendors that will accept CCs, but not very many, so cash is king. There is an option for those with CCs, they have tokens worth $5 each and all you have to do is pay a small fee to cover the expense of a cc transaction, which is not that big of deal, plus the tokens are good at any time you visit so you don't have to use them all in one day. My wife and I do like to come and get a variety of items, from veggies to fish to pickles and kimchi, but we also like to partake of the ready to eat items, we have already had the empanadas which are small and some would say expensive (1 for 5, 2 for 8) but each of those pockets are packed with flavor and not to mention rich, you would think it was money well spent. There is also a burrito vendor where you can get a mission style burrito from a mother and daughter team that have the assembly of said burrito down to a science . Other vendors we had not tried are a bagel vendor as well as a curry vendor. My take, if you live in the surrounding neighborhoods of 32nd and Barclay (Old Goucher, Barclay, Waverly, etc) what the heck are you waiting for, head on over.

Yelp
A cute local Saturday Market with several vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, one of my favorites if you love seafood - Neopol Smokery. Amazing smoked mussels and the smoked salmon is to die for. If you get there early enough try the candied ginger smoked salmon and thank me later. Additionally, there are several cooked food vendors, artesian items, La Bohemia bakery - yum, live music and lots of people. During COVID everyone had a mask on but I experienced other shoppers in line not practicing social distancing, which a nice reminder was helpful. Regardless, if you are looking for fresh, original and delicious items this is a great Saturday morning find.

Yelp
Excellent selections! Produce is always fresh and varied. I am loving the pear selections I bought the other week. Knocking one star because of the insane traffic this place causes and parking is a joke.

Yelp
I had forgotten all about the 32nd Street Farmers' Market until I read the reviews here on Yelp. They've been running this market ever since I was a teenager and perhaps earlier; I used to live in the neighborhood, so it wasn't uncommon for me or my family to stroll down to Barclay and 32nd and get some good food. Today I stepped back into my childhood! One loaf of Atwater's bread, a huge jar of locally-made honey, two containers of hummus, a scone, a cup of Zeke's and a huge falafel wrap later, the Love of My Life and I left, perfectly satisfied. We were mightily impressed by all of the different offerings; I must say that some of the vegetables were absolutely ginormous. If we'd had more money, we would have splurged and gotten tons of stuff. The debit/token system was actually quite helpful and allowed us to spend more than what we had on hand. Of course, that could be quite a dangerous thing. I didn't see the Ethiopian food mentioned in previous reviews; if I had, I would have so stopped there based on what I'd read alone. I will definitely look for them the next time I return. The woman at the falafel table was absolutely awesome. She made a falafel wrap that was to. DIE. for. I've never had anything so delicious in my life. It's things like this that make me WANT to go vegetarian - if only I didn't like meat so much. The hummus booth was absolutely the highlight of the market. Made by a company called The Wild Pea, they had tons upon tons of flavored hummus that we were allowed to try out before buying. I only bought two (the cinnamon raisin OHMIGAWD and the "Vampire Slayer", apparently so much garlic it burns your mouth), but with the selection of flavors, I will be back for much, much more. Wasabi basil pesto hummus? WIN. Parking, I imagine, can be absolute hell, but we actually lucked out and snagged a space only half a block away from the market. Street musicians make the atmosphere quite festive! I am so back next weekend.

Yelp
Most farmer's markets are good and this one definitely does not disappoint. A parking lot full of local vendors and farmers is not only a cool sight to see, but also a delicious feast. Great way to spend an hour or two on a saturday morning. You can buy your meal here and also do some grocery shopping. Some of the foods I'd recommend: - bread: these fresh baked loaves are really tasty. My favorite is a big loaf of soughdough. - cheeses: plenty of different types of cheese. the Goat cheese especially is AMAZING. so fresh - veggies: of course, this is seasonal, but most of the veggies looked fresh. i got some lettuce, peppers, and mushrooms which were all fresh and tasty! great for cooking. - apples: again.. in season. but the honeycrisp. YES. so good. - yogurt: you can get a glass bottle of many diff kinds of yogurt. i really liked their blueberry one and the plain was good too. Plus you get to keep the bottle and can use it if you want to feel hipster. Feel free to ask for a sample for the different foods (like the cheese). the vendors are all friendly and eager to let you try some. there are prepared foods available to buy too. also, they have other things for sale like clothes, jewelry, etc. unless they changed this recently, i'm pretty sure they take CREDIT CARD. When I went, i used my card to buy these tokens, which is used as currency in the market. if you want to be safe, bring cash, just in case the credit card machine is broken that day. My friend and i finished our loaf of sourdough and half the goat cheese on the walk back home... we were tempted to turn around and go back for more, but we exercised some self control. Also, I would recommend going to breakfast at Pete's grille a block away, then stopping here afterwards!

Yelp
Pretty solid farmers market. Vendors included a variety of produce, meats, prepared food. The selection was decent. Some of the vendors were pricey and parking was difficult, but it makes for a good Saturday morning activity.

Yelp
I previously wrote that this farmers market closes for the winter. I was wrong...and i'm sorry for misleading some people . What a grave sin. This is a great farmer's market. Prices are reasonable, even sometimes equal and cheaper than a grocery store. The food stalls are exciting and flavorful. My hotspots: Blacksauce kitchen - check my review on yelp. Today I just had their sage sausage with apple butter ona sage biscuit. .... Simple, yet great flavors and textures. Perfect Saturday morning breakfast. Harmony Bakery- Doesn't have a sign. A Hippy looking married couple runs the joint. Amazing stuff that you won't get anywhere in Baltimore. They mostly use organic or gluten free type ingredients. ROSEMARY CASHEW COOKIE ...trust me. I'm eating one as I write this review ...hold on ..gotta lick the crumbs off of this starbucks table i'm sitting at. Look for the extra virgin olive oil. Some of the best EVOO i've had. Walk around for free samples too :) Enjoy local music, eat good food.

Yelp
I do all my vegetable shopping here on Saturdays. The challenge is to get my sleepy bum here before 12pm on Lazy Saturday mornings. Other than vegetables, my regular purchases here are soy bean oil, locally collected honey and the kombucha drinks. My favorites are the variety of apples and other fruits that are available late summer. Also, the heirloom tomatoes which taste sour, perfect for my Indian recipes. This market helps me stick with my plan of staying away from GMO food. If I don't find something here, I don't try to buy it in a regular non-organic store. That makes it difficult for me sometimes, since the waverly farmer's market is relatively small and they get smaller between winter until late summer. It is true that the market is open through out the year, rain or snow, but that does not mean that every seller is present at all times. I still love this farmer's market and I am glad to be close enough to shop here every week.

Kristie J.

Yelp
This is my favorite farmers market. This has pretty much everything you need and no frills. It has similar vendors as the Sunday market under 83. I like this market because it is smaller yet still has everything, parking is very easy, especially if you go early in the morning. Often, since they are the same vendors at many markets, they run out of products on Sunday but have them for this market. I've bought everything from duck eggs, to eggplant to lavender and it has all been top notch. As far as things you CANT miss I would say you need to have Max's empanadas, they are to die for, buy some falafel in a jar to go and cook at home and get some local mushrooms. You won't spend more than 1 hour here but I always come back happy. The only negative is this place might be a little more expensive than the Sunday market, but a $1 difference won't deter me from coming back.
google avatar

Tishea D.

Yelp
So once you go to the Farmers Market on Sunday under the bridge, no farmers market will ever be the same or could compare. So the ONLY good vendor I saw at this place was the Black Sauce Kitchen. I would probably just wait until Sunday to attend farmers market instead of coming to this location. Farmer's Market on Sunday is like the " FLAGSHIP STORE".. My advice is wait until Sunday.
google avatar

Roger H.

Yelp
This is a farmers market like you would find in Asheville. Great booths of prepared food vendors, but more importantly, lots of local farmers with fresh veggies. That is something sadly missed at small markets. Yes, Zeke's is there and the Curry Shack...and BLACKSAUCE...amazing biscuits. It was cold, windy and about to rain. WE had to high tail it. But honestly we will be back. Fresh breads, pickles...lots of everything.
google avatar

Tunaidi A.

Yelp
Pretty chill farmer's market in the Charles Village area. Though the number of vendors aren't as plentiful as some of the other farmer's markets in Baltimore, the quality doesn't lose. Parking is pretty easy in the neighborhood. Prices are reasonable. There's a booth where you can run your debit card in exchange for $5 tokens usable only at the market (note that there's a $1.50 transaction fee).
google avatar

Mable W.

Yelp
Between this farmers market and the farmers market bazaar in Baltimore, I've found the 32nd farmers market has a much more communal feel. Yes, it has fewer vendors, but it also has a smaller crowd. A smaller crowd means you get to talk to the vendors. You get to ask them how the farm is doing and they take the time to tell to you. The smaller space also let's you shop for everything a lot faster. I look forward to seeing them next weekend.
google avatar

Tiffany R.

Yelp
This market is near my house. I love that they are open all year round. Two of my favorite places are Andy's and the Chinese lady in the back with the peppers. Andy had the gashes eggs and meats and the prices are so reasonable.
google avatar

Martha W.

Yelp
Get up early and GO! There are many outdoor/indoor markets and farmers markets in Baltimore but this one is my favorite. It is tucked in the middle of a bohemian neighborhood (east of Charles Village), which gives it more of a community feel: similar to Eastern Market, but on a smaller scale. On Saturdays, there is live music (see photos) and it is crowded - so get there early. Am especially fond of the fresh artisanal bread there (Uptown Bakery et al.) but the fruit and vegetable selection from local farmers is excellent. This is a family friendly place. So get up early on Saturday, grab your friends, SOs or kids - and enjoy!
google avatar

Patrick H.

Yelp
One of my favorite outings is to hit the 32nd street Farmer's Market. This is Baltimores biggest and best Farmer's Market, open year round, but of course much enhanced in the summer. Parking can be a little difficult so it's best to get there early. Not all of the produce here is local, but a good deal of it is. So you will have no problem finding a great selection of regional and organic food here. Also, there is representation from some of Balto's finest food vendors, including Atwaters bakery and Neopol Smokehouse, which is a must stop. Neopol smokes everything they can think of. Try the smoked garlic, or their insanely thick cut bacon. The savory smoked cheesecakes are to die for, and they make some of the best smoked salmon you've ever tasted. There are a couple of noteworthy prepared food vendors as well. The Curry Shack makes a mean curry and Ethiopian delights is also a treat. If Mrs. Williams is there, take home one of her sweet potato pies!

Yelp
This is such a cute place to go every weekend, just for kicks. I like the variety of stalls which ranges from veggies to pastries. You can easily pick up a healthy breakfast while you're there too. My favorite food there has got to be the falafel wrap. They are located right in the middle of the market. You can't miss it. When it comes to veggies, I buy them from Eden Farm. Reasonable and fresh. The sellers are a bunch of older and friendly Korean folks, occasionally their daughter mans the stall too. I do get breads from Atwaters and coffee from Zeke sometimes.

Yelp
I really liked this farmers market. Parking was a hassle. I rode around for almost 30 minutes before I found a decent place to park. It was a nice selection of fruits and veggies but Ive seen better and more of a variety at the Jones Falls One under the bridge. There also arent alot of hot food selections and the one I did see and wanted to try had sold out of everything pretty early. Alot of the stands didnt accept debit cards or credit cards which sucked cause thats all I had. They told me I needed to go get coins from some stand that I couldnt find so I just said forget it. I did get this Gigantic head of cabbage for only 2 bucks that lasted me a while. The only reason I'd prob head back.

Yelp
I am so in love with the Waverly Farmers Market. This probably has mostly to do with the fact that it's a 10 minute walk from my house but it's such a great size! It's much less overwhelming than the market under 83 and I love the fact that it's open year-round. But the thing I really really super love about the Waverly Market? They accept Food Stamps! And you get these cool little wooden tokens that make you feel like a kid playing house! As someone trying to subsist off an Americorps living stipend for the year I very much appreciate the fact that I can use my benefits to get fresh, local produce instead of being forced to buy subpar veggies from Safeway (*shudder*).

Yelp
The problem is I have been to the Baltimore Bazaar farmer's market which is a five star experience. This has some of the same places with less crowds. However, just not as much selection. They started charging $1.50 for the in person atm services. the falelafal is good. the biscuit place is good. we picked up some heirlooms tomatoes plants too.

Yelp
Ok y'all I promise not to update my review every Sunday! Lol. But I found that my favorite vegetable Booth's farm is named Eden farm. Don't go looking for a sign...they don't have one...but they are the only Korean family there. ( I finally just asked about their origin. :-) And y'all... kudos to all the vendors who still braved the heat this Saturday. It was sweltering out there and vendors were still serving. Whew! On a personal note, thank u for all the prayers and positive energy, my Dad is 100% after surgery. Already back to work :-)

Yelp
Everyone kept on telling me about the Baltimore Farmer's Market underneath the Jones Falls Expressway at Holliday & Saratoga streets, but it wasn't until I visited the Charles Street Friday Market that the friendly pickle vendor told me about the 32nd Street Market in the Charles Village area. The 32nd St. Market is great! Big, but not huge, great prices on fresh produce, a good mix of prepared foods and produce. I'm looking forward to coming back here every Saturday for my locavore needs. There's a parking lot you can park at, or just do what I do and park in the neighborhood and walk a bit.

Yelp
Okay, so it pales in comparison to the Berkeley Farmers Market, but what wouldn't? It's still really good, and I'm so glad it's year-round. It's also a good place to walk our dog amidst all the bustle and hustle so that he can make a fool of us while he misbehaves. I think the vendors appreciate that. My favorites: * There are usually a couple stands of apples and pears, which I care about only because they sell excellent East Coast apple (or pear) cider. * Zeke's Coffee - a really great local roaster (which you can also get at the local Eddie's Market). They carry a variety of Organic/Fair Trade roasts. My favorites are the Mexican Chiapas and Hippie Blend. :) I think they're about $10 for a pound. * Atwater's Bakery - SO sadly just stopped selling wholesale to Eddie's! So I guess I will have to get them at the farmers market from now on. Anyways, this is my favorite local bakery I've found so far. They make a variety of breads, but my favorites are the focaccia, peasant wheat, and some Irish kind I forget the name of but starts with a "C". I think. * South Mountain Creamery - I've only bought from them once, but it was mind-blowingly good dairy. I used their whole milk in making mint chocolate-chip ice cream, and it was far and away the best ice cream I've made. The milk was some of the best milk I've ever had. Wow. They do the thing where you put down a bottle deposit, so expect to put down a little extra cash the first time you buy from them. They also sell cheeses. * There's also this one produce stand run by some nice Korean people. They sell produce for wicked cheap, especially if you get there near the end of the market. What to watch out for: * The twelve o'clock bell! The market closes at noon, and once they start ringing the bell, the show's over. You aren't allowed to make any further transactions. It's weird. * I don't know the name of it, but there's one bakery stand that sells some delightful looking croissants and other breakfasty pastries. Don't be fooled! They look great, but taste and feel like they were lifted from the local Sam's Club. Highly mediocre.

Yelp
Great market with a variety of local goods. There is a wide variety of vendors and you can very easily source an entire meal from soup to nuts here in Waverly. The local vegetable of the month abounds, make sure you make the rounds before you decide to buy. Prices and quality fluctuate as you go from stand to stand but most, if not all, of the vendors are really proud of what they do and will stand behind their products and produce. Don't be afraid to get in there and do some sampling! That's the joy of hitting the market and being amongst the growers.

Yelp
This is my Saturday morning outlet. I am so glad my good friend suggested that we go one Saturday morning, and I have been hooked ever since. The fruits and veg tables are always fresh. I like that it is not very huge like the Baltimore Farmer's Market on Sunday's, but to me the 32nd street has more of an intimate feel, not too crowded. I find the prices to be reasonable and it is always a great mix of prepared foods and produce. The one stand I frequent alot is the Infused Spreads vendor, I have been patronizing her since I stumbled across her stand at the Baltimore Farmers Market under the Jones Falls Expressway. Her spreads bring life to your proteins (chicken, pork and fish). Also she has spreads mainly for breakfast. Her jams are to die for and are a great gift for the holidays. She is one of the main reasons why I frequent 32nd Street Farmers Market.

Yelp
Wow, what a great way to spend the morning! I came here and bought a delicious loaf of Italian rosemary bread and a block of smoked cheddar cheese. They were both delicious! I probably could eat the entire loaf and block by myself....but I was nice and shared with my friends during dinner. Lots of options here, including some fun ethnic choices such as an Ethiopian food stand, a Thai food stand, and a general great produce. If I lived nearby (I was visiting from DC), I would have bought my more. If and when I visit again, I'll come again!

Yelp
I dunno. Trying to drive through this area, much less PARK, is pretty awful from 7am until about 11am. Most of the vendors have good stuff, but half the time, I got home and found black insides when I cut open my fruit. They finally banned dogs from the market, but some people still bring them, jumping all over people, barking at you, or causing scenes. I'd say they should ban morons who can't control their dogs, but oh well.

Yelp
Since moving to Charles Village in August, this market has been a Saturday morning for me almost every week. The market is good sized with a variety of vendors, but it is small enough that there's still a homey, community feel to it. The vendors all know each other and there is always some good-natured ribbing happening across stalls. Many of the produce vendors have similar stock (all of it very fresh and delicious!), but there are a few stands that are really unique and I always make sure to hit up when I go: -Bmore Bill's Dills: Homemade pickles from an awesome couple! They have like 10 different varieties of pickles and are very generous with letting you try all the kinds. -Max's Empanadas: The main storefront is in Little Italy, but they have a little stand at the farmer's market every week. The chorizo and ham and cheese are my favorites. -South Mountain Creamery: Freshest, best tasting milk I've ever had! If you are in a splurge mood, go for the chocolate milk. It is amazing. They also have cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. -Atwater's Breads: Great, fresh breads (and cookies and cakes) in all different varieties. The rosemary italian loaf is a winner for sure!
