Yelp
Solid brunch place in Austin. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but that's normal at a place like this. It has something for everyone, from a selection of benedicts to pancakes to a bowl of greens. Food: I got yogurt and peanut butter toast for $11. I found it a strange combo, but the yogurt was great! The toast was a bit tough though. Don't get the fried rice here, but go for the egg benedicts! ‍ Service: Friendly staff and usual time to bring the food out. Ambiance: Free parking garage next door, open seating, but a bit chilly inside. I'll be return some day!

Yelp
Egg-cellent Adventure at Snooze - Austin Edition Okay, so imagine waking up in Austin, slightly groggy, craving something that'll make your taste buds do a little two-step. Enter: Snooze. This place is not your average breakfast joint--it's like brunch on a magic carpet ride. Let's talk about the real MVP: Eggs Benedict. But hold on--this isn't just one Benedict, oh no. It's a choose-your-own-Benny adventure! I felt like a kid at a brunch buffet birthday party. Wanna mix a classic with a spicy Barbacoa Benny? Do it. Feeling fancy with lox and avocado? Go wild. You can even mix and match two different Benedicts on one plate, which should honestly be illegal because it's too good. And the staff? HILARIOUS. Like, sitcom-level funny. Our server cracked jokes like they moonlight at a comedy club--and still managed to remember every weird little substitution at the table. It was like being served by your funniest friend who also happens to be a brunch wizard. 10/10 would snooze again--but only if it means waking up at Snooze. Brilliant Dinning

Yelp
According to a friend I needed too put this on my foodie list. So I finally did!! Before I get into my review let me say that everyone taste buds are different. The service was fast and friendly and personable. The ambiance of this place is a momodern casual vibe and casual styling and decor. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits & one pancake and coffee. I'm a big pancake guy, so I'm very critical of pancakes, meaning temperature of pancake, size of pancake and taste of pancake and cost. The cost of 1 pancake cost me 6.99, which was over priced too me. The taste was plain and nothing separated itself from any other restaurant pancakes. The temperature didn't melt the butter . Shrimp & Grits... I think that my gustatory cells didn't agree with this dish because it lacked that southern zest & seasoning. If I were up North maybe this dish would have hit different. Over all it was a nice place too visit and a new experience . I would visit again.

Yelp
You snooze, you lose. This is a chain, but I don't mind at all. It's a great breakfast joint for a variety of pancakes, egg dishes, and brunch cocktails. They offer unique bloody may options too. I've tried a Thai inspired bloody and a spicey. One thing to note - no waffles here.
google avatar

Yelp
I like the one in Cedar Park better but this one was fine. The customer service is good.

Yelp
Snooze continues to serve up a great brunch. I tried a new item today-- the Protein Trio omelette--and it is excellent. It's a big 3-egg omelette with very generous amounts of bacon, sausage, and ham, cooked perfectly. I asked for well-done crispy hash browns and they did them just right. My companion had her favorite Corned Beef Hash. She says it's the best around, and the serving size was more than generous. My only complaint is how LOUD this place is. Midday Sunday is going to be busy at any popular place, but something about the acoustics of snooze makes the noise bounce around in an especially rackety way. Obviously I need to come here during the week, then it would be perfect.

Yelp
The wait was minimal, sat outside (street side) with our pup. Super friendly wait staff, not overly attentive. The food was yummy, even ordered an egg for the pup. The sun was not beating down on us, we had such an enjoyable breakfast. The crowd was mixture of ages

Yelp
I came here for breakfast and enjoyed it. I was able to get seated immediately and without a reservation, which was nice. Their location was solid. The shrimp and grits were money!! Hashbrowns were okay. And Kenya did a great job taking care of me. I would eat here again for sure. Well done Snooze team!!

Yelp
Had such a great experience last time so decided to try a different location. The general decor of the restaurant is very cute and vintagesque. Ordered some different food and wanted to try the pancake flight. Would definitely recommend the bravocado toast and the other entrees we bought but if you want a pancake here I'd skip everything and go straight for the cinnamon roll pancake. The service was very okay.

Yelp
Popular Denver brunch chain with a good presence in Austin - this location is convenient for those in North Central Austin. If you're going to shop at Central Market, hitting St. David's hospital or supporting medical offices or you live in the area this is a good brunch spot. They serve brunch daily until 3pm. Weekends can be hectic but you can use Yelp to put your name on the waiting list. Yelp even has an ETA for the waiting time. I came on a Friday late morning as I had the day off. If you go weekdays they are currently running a weekday happy hour with $5 bloody mary's and mimosa - that's a steal in 2024z. They also have weekday specials and I got a 2 egg breakfast for $10. I also couldn't pass on a pancake - sadly the one pancake was almost $7 but I just couldn't muster paying $3 more for one of their pancake meals with multiple pancakes and flavors. The 2 egg breakfast comes with a couple of slices of well done bacon and has browns. The hash browns are served fancy in a circular mold or you can get them flattened the old fashion way. As for the bloody I got the Thai bloody that has spicy vodka, horseradish, and Worcester (can't spell it) sauce; it wasn't spicy at all for me. With happy hour I got 2. Service is great and friendly. As for parking you will have to park in the buildings parking garage. It's free for those visiting the building and there's a guy checking at the entrance if you try to head for the hospital as this isn't a parking garage for the hospital so don't even try.

Yelp
Personally, the food seems expensive for what it is. I'm not the biggest brunch fan; this did not convert me. The pancake flavors sound pretty interesting, but didn't actually taste very interesting. However, the service was nice, and I liked my Eggs Benedict drowned in hot sauce.

Yelp
I normally love going to snooze but my most recent experience wasn't the best. We got there early to beat the line but the food took an excessively long time to come out despite there not being much of a crowd in the restaurant and my food was pretty much all cold including the egg. I will be back but hoping for more consistency since my friends had a good experience with the food!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here a few times and have had mixed experiences. I usually get the Vegan Banana Bliss Pancakes which are pretty good but also kind of small. The side of tofu could use more seasoning but is a good portion. My friends had very mixed reviews about the food as well, some really liked and some really disliked. Servers have been super nice but can be forgetful or hard to find. It's very busy on weekends but I'm glad they now accept reservations. Very family-friendly vibe.

Kelly T.

Yelp
Always excellent food, ambiance and service! Our family of 8 eat here often for birthday brunches! Family friendly. Eat outside if it's cool weather.

Yelp
This is my third time at Snooze, and there's a reason I keep coming back. The wait is wrong, so check into the waitlist from home 30-75 minutes before you intend to show up. The food & beverages are phenomenal. Servings are smaller than most places for the cost but plenty filling, you just probably won't take home leftovers. The Monte Cristo (too savory not enough sweet) isn't what I was hoping for but this time I got the OMG french toast & hashbrowns and I now know my go to order. I always prefer to sit on the back patio, on weekends however there are often screaming children throwing rocks behind the gated area, so sit up front (where there's a bit of car noise from the road) or inside! Overall Snooze is a great spot for a date, with friends, or with family. The staff are all super kind, funny, and patient. Thanks Snooze!

Yelp
The food here was good, service was great as well. Our waiter DK the sweetest. She had a great attitude, was attentive and quick! The wait was long but I can see why! Food was amazing I didn't mind waiting an hour for it.

Yelp
This round was spot on for this visit! Although the service was a little spoty, and we did see other people get food way before us...today we weren't in any hurry and the food was hot and fresh. Still hands down our favorite breakfast joint in ATX.....and don't Snooze on the Spuds Deluxe Barbacoa/Goat Cheese pairing....Thank me later!

Yelp
Brunch on a Saturday morning, there was about a 20 minute wait, so we walked around the area a bit waiting for their text. There were indoor and outdoor seating and a casual, retro-modern vibe inside. Bright colors and a bit quirky, but fun and the service was friendly. We ordered eggs benedict, a pancake flight, shrimp & grits, and an omelette. Everyone enjoyed their food and everything was tasty. They had some unique pancake flavors and the pancake themselves were very fluffy. The shrimp & grits was also a bit different, not the usual bowl of grits topped with shrimp but on a plate - I could use a bit more sauce but all very flavorful nonetheless. Very solid 4-4.5 star all around!

Yelp
First of all - the sweet potato pancakes are DELICIOUS! I ordered these a few years ago and loved them, but always thought they were a seasonal item. So glad to see they continue to be on the menu! Snooze is a great place for groups, but get ready to wait if you go at a peak time. We were a group of 10 and made a reservation for 12:30, and then an hour before, the host called and asked if we could come earlier at 12:15. We did, but didn't end up getting seated until 12:45. This was a little frustrating, but we were fine hanging out and chatting, so it didn't matter much! The restaurant was pretty busy (just after noon on a Sunday) so service was a little slow. Again, this didn't prove to be an issue since we were fine chatting, but I know that's a grievance many people have with Snooze. Nevertheless, the food and drinks were delicious. Aside from the pancakes, I also enjoyed a mimosa. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered. I'll definitely be back, but probably not with such a large group next time!!

Yelp
This was a fun spot to go eat with my girls. We sat outside and decided to share three meals. The jalapeño omelet was an 8/10. The cream cheese and jelly on the side made it delish but the hash browns were kinda nasty. Our second wish was the flight pancakes which includes the pecan, strawberry, and pineapple upside down pancakes. The pecan pancake was the favorite, but overall this dish was too sweet on its own. 5/10 The Monte Cristo was the least favorite dish, which was surprising since it stood out to us on the menu. We did not enjoy the French toast underneath it at all and it was prepared as a traditional Monte Cristo. The flavor was lacking and was too greasy. The side salad was the best thing on the plate. 2/10 We also got one lavender latte and a pumpkin latte. The pumpkin latte was terrible, way too much cinnamon and didn't give off pumpkin flavor. The lavender latte was ok but we didn't taste much lavender, it was basically just a vanilla latte. Kind of disappointing, but our server was so nice. He took the lattes off the bill and he was very quick and friendly. We would like to come back to try more on their menu, but I'm only giving three stars since we really only enjoyed one of the three entrees.

Sudeshna B.

Yelp
The food was amazing. I tried the shrimp and grits and my husband had the protein veggie scrambled eggs with chicken. We were three families, ordered a lot of food and everything was great. Even the kids loved theirs kids meals. We sat outside (wait time was about 40 mins). It got warm and sunny, unfortunately they didn't have any extra umbrellas and no fans on the porch.

Yelp
Awesome restaurant! Our waitress greeted us with a big smile, she was very helpful, kind, and informative, and also seemed like she really enjoyed being there! The food was really good. As someone with a lot of allergies and who's allergic to gluten, I was very surprised and pleased that they have the ability to make virtually everything Gluten-Free! Amazing experience, and the restaurant has a bit of a diner feel to it, which was nice.

Yelp
I'm a huge Snooze fan! I went with some friends a few weeks ago. We got a flight of pancakes - all of which were delicious. I surprisingly really like the pancake with pineapple in it. Yum! I also ordered the French Toast Neat which was delicious with the maple syrup and berries. They staff is always great and knowledgeable. There is a free parking garage which is super convenient. Try and get on the Yelp waitlist to see what the current wait time is. This spot can get crowded during peak brunch hours. If you go earlier in the morning, it's usually a lot easier to be seated quickly (especially Sundays since alcohol can't be served until later in the morning).

Yelp
Really enjoyed my waiter Brylicious. He was funny, helpful, and attentive. The food was amazing. I had the strawberry shortcake pancakes and I loved it. I always ordered a drink that was good.

Yelp
I enjoy breakfast at Snooze every time I visit Austin. My order is always cooked perfectly, delivered hot and fresh and is so delicious. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. One server stood out in my Snooze visit yesterday. Ally (Ali). She was so kind and helpful. Chatted with me briefly like an old friend. But she was also keeping an eye out for her other tables. Ally, if you read this, I will be back at Snooze on February 25 sometime in the morning, I hope to see you there! You are THE best!

Yelp
nice brunch outside on the patio. my aunt wasn't super happy with the monte crisco, because she ordered it based on a Yelp photo I showed her, and what she got looked nothing like it - whoops!
google avatar

Monica G.

Yelp
When in Austin, I make sure to get on the waitlist early because I LOVE their pork belly eggs Benedict. This time though I ordered the Benny Duo, so one pork belly and one chile verde with barbacoa. And as usual, it did not disappoint. The barbacoa was legit. I'm from south, south, SOUTH Texas haha and this barbacoa tasted as good as the one back home. Our server was the nicest lady and very attentive. The place is always super lively so it gets a little loud but nothing too crazy. I will always come back to Snooze for a breakfast or brunch. Ps. My bff tasted the specialty pancake, a pumpkin flavored one. It's not MY thing but she said it was amazing!! She ate the whole thing, so I believe her.

Yelp
Always a good choice to go here for breakfast. We went around 11 although inside wait was like 1.5hrs but we got seated right away for outside. The service was exception fast, friends and attentive. The outside is good with bunch of heaters for chilly days and overlooks Lamar which is always fun. We ordered the following: Cappuccino - it was yummy just would have liked it to be a little hotter. Breakfast Burrito - it is a big burrito with lots of feeling and flavors. Huevos Tostada - I love the concept of crunchy tostada with topping and scrambled egg so dish is always a win for me. We will for sure be back to this establishment.

Yelp
Had an amazing brunch on Sunday 2/9/25 with a dear friend. Everything about the experience was simply stellar! Service was impeccable....And I do mean IMPECCABLE!. From the espresso martini's to the absolutely delicious food...like the decadent bread pudding French toast (say WHAAAT??) to the final belly rub from the very personable and funny server..(juuuust kidding) - about the belly rub that is. Loved the service and it all kicked off the day to a great start. Already making plans for another brunch. Thanks Snooze!!
google avatar

Lindsey L.

Yelp
Went back to Snooze on Lamar for the first time in a while and was not disappointed! Thanks to their rewards program (download their app!), and redeeming "points" for priority seating, we waited less than 3 minutes for a table during the Sunday rush. The service was friendly and attentive, as per usual. I'm usually a 'salty' breakfast person but I gave the brioche stuffed French toast a try and it hit the spot. The perfect amount of sweet and savory. I'll definitely utilize their app for more perks and be back! PS- Parking: there is a free parking garage with plenty of parking. The entry to the garage is on Medical Parkway.

Yelp
delicious breakfast location, especially love the habanero eggs benedict. little on the pricier side with the portions not matching the price. service is very friendly but the wait can get along during busy hours. busy ambiance. would definitely come back but for an occasion.

Yelp
Joined the waitlist on a Saturday morning via Yelp. When we were initially seated, we were seated in a shared booth next to a couple with a dog. INDOORS. Paws on the table and all. Immediately we asked to be moved. I honestly thought about leaving, this location offers patio seating, there was no reason for there to be a dog AT THE TABLE INSIDE. Once we moved, the service was fine. The restaurant was packed. There were quite a few people waiting outside. We ordered the pancake flight, snooze basic breakfast and spuds with enhancements. For drinks we had the strawberry martini mimosa and the blood orange mimosa (sub bourbon). The food came out quickly, it was mid at best. The drinks were excellent though. Not sure we'd visit again, but it was an okay brunch.
google avatar

Susan C.

Yelp
First visit to this location but second visit to a Snooze....I am a big fan and just adore the menu! This time had the pancake flight which consisted of the blueberry danish pancake, sweet potato pancake and the pineapple upside down pancake. I also ordered the half order of eggs Benedict and it was perfect. As always, my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. Polished off the eggs Benedict and had some of the sweet potato pancake. Took the rest of the pancakes home and had it for breakfast the next day! Definitely coming back again and again and again.........
google avatar

Garima B.

Yelp
Food! Always great options for vegetarian. Enjoyed the new Miso Garlic bowl which was seasonal. Don't forget to order your hot chocolate, my fav. I do think service has gone down since my last visit 8 months back, given the place is getting busy!
google avatar

Haley F.

Yelp
I got the Habanero Pork Belly Benny and it did not disappoint. I also got the Ham Benedict and it was DELICIOUS. It impressed me more than the pork belly (the ham was cooked perfectly).
google avatar

Yelp
Went to Snooze this past weekend to celebrate my son's 19th birthday and everything was great. Even during the rush our server still managed to be attentive and on top of her game..keeping our glasses filled and making sure everything was good. We ordered the French toast neat, the OMG, 2 spuds deluxe and a snooze classic and my brother had the "strawberry lemonade" margarita and everything was amazing. The vibe as always was real casual and laid back, joined the waitlist on Yelp and upon arriving we waited maybe an additional 15-20 mins to be seated but still within the window that was given. No new photos this time

Yelp
Waited 15 minutes on a weekday at 10:30 during the week between Christmas and NYE. About as expected Love wide variety of menu options. Enough food in one entree for 2-3 meals. Inside was lively, busy. Service was busy, ok, slightly too slow. Quality of food was good. Parking easy. Front desk people cheerful. Good option.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Worst service at the front desk ever we get here sign in they said 20 minutes. Text us check with the host. They said oh it's another 30 minutes. Say that from the beginning don't make people wait outside in the heat and not giving the correct time. Oh ya and their online check in said 0 wait which is obviously not true. Fix your online system as well.
google avatar

Brian T.

Yelp
The venue is very cute and perfect place for brunch on any given day. Definitely recommend to put yourself on the Google waitlist (we were 42nd in line at around 2pm on a Sunday!) The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful! My server allowed me to sample the fun Bloody Mary drinks before committing to a drink (the kimchi one is delicious, spicy, and pulpy if you're into that). Right after we ordered, a random server came by and dropped off speciality pancakes courtesy of a "mystery server" on the house! It was a great way to try something new and was the best surprise of our day. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going again.

Yelp
Snooze is a great place to grab a nice breakfast/brunch with your friends! They always have an abundance of indoor and outdoor seating, however, I've never been here where there wasn't a wait. I would recommend getting in line via the Yelp app before you arrive but the average wait time is 15-20 minutes minimum. I ordered the Benny's Duo because I knew I wanted an Eggs Benedict but I didn't know which one so this was the perfect mix-and-match option for me. I got the Habanero Pork Belly Benny mixed with the Smashed Avocado Benny. They were both so freaking yummy. The Habanero was so nicely done, the egg was runny and creamy and I loved the smokiness from the thick pork belly strip. I did enjoy the Smashed Avocado Benny because it was a nice palette cleanser next to the heavier pork belly, but it wasn't anything that I was amazed by. I did like how it came with a side of hash browns. My biggest qualm would have to just be how long the food took to arrive. I think we waited roughly around 20-25 minutes after ordering before our food got to the table so altogether, we spent close to an hour waiting.

Ferera K.

Yelp
I've been to Snooze three times so far (twice on Lamar and once at the new location up north) and this is still by far my most favorite breakfast spot especially to enjoy with out of town guests. Wide variety of unique, flavorful entrees and quality drinks, too. The wait can be long, so I'd suggest planning ahead by making a reservation during the week or joining the wait list early on the weekend. Quadruple recommend!
google avatar

Joshua J.

Yelp
We went on a Friday around 9:30am and we're able to get seated within 12 minutes of checking in. Snooze is one of my favorite brunch spots. They know how to do pancakes right! The food is always delicious, they wait staff are friendly, and the music is bumping! Pro tips: you can park in the parking garage at no cost. Also, you won't be seated until your entire party is present so plan accordingly.

Yelp
Kind of giving Snooze the benefit of the doubt, here. Maybe I didn't get the right dish? Or rather, my wife, and daughters, and I didn't get the right dishes? Our two friends with us enjoyed their burritos, so I went with three, rather than two stars. Food first: solid meh's all around except for our friends who both got the breakfast burritos. Between my family, we had the corned beef hash, the monte cristo brioche French toast, the ham Benedict III, the blueberry danish pancakes, and a side pancake. Oh so meh. My corned beef hash was dry (the corned beef), and none of it had any flavor. The rest said about the same. Our friends with burritos thought they were great, and they were massive, so maybe go for that. I'm honestly astonished reading so many positive reviews. Like I said, maybe we got the wrong things? Almost all of us? The place has a fun atmosphere, although it is very loud. We could hardly have a conversation over the music and noise. The server was great - very nice and attentive. Definitely saved this from being worse. Once you DO get a table (more on that below) the service is pretty good. Wanna know what's not enjoyable ever? Waiting forever for a table. Firstly, Yelp's "remind me to get on the wait list feature" never reminded me, so don't trust it (did not ding Snooze for this). So we were 50th in line at 11:00 when I did check in. It is a nice feature. Wish it all worked well. We checked in at the stand at 12:15 (feature said check in by 12:26 for seating between then and 12:56. Finally got seated at 1:00. Wow. But that's not the best part. Once we ordered, it took more than 45 MINUTES to get our food! So from wait list to food was 3 hours. IT'S A BREAKFAST PLACE. THAT'S ALL THEY DO. FORTY-FIVE MINUTES!! The food is not worth the wait for me, so likely will not be heading back. If you go, maybe try the burrito.

Yelp
Second visit today. This place is an overpriced Denny's. They use fancy names to sell flavorless food. Clearly for the hungover drunk crowd. I ordered some type of hash brown mess, which was supposed to get "ehancements" I chose spinach and sausage. The sausage looked like canned cat food bits, and I was given a pinch of spinach, maybe 12 leaves. I added on a vegan banana pancake, which had zero banana flavor and was half the size of one pancake for half the price of two full sized pancakes. I shouldn't have gave them a chance after the last time when I found a hair in my flavorless scrambled eggs and my pineapple upside down pancakes that had very little resemblance to any pineapple upside down anything, again employing small pineapple chunks, sparingly throughout the pancake. Supremely disappointing food experience. Cafe Java does it better with less. And IHOP cooks better.

Yelp
On vacation and a native recommended Snooze. We had a reservation (and glad we did because the wait ). I ordered the Pineapple Mimosa, side French toast, and the 3 egg scramble. The inside was super cute. They have a barista for cafe drinks. My best friend had a lavender latte that was so good! The Pineapple mimosa was heavily poured ( which we love)! The French toast was probably the best I've every had! The scramble (made with chicken sausage , onions, and cheese) was pretty good. It reminded me of CFA Breakfast Scramble. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
Snooze is a solid breakfast chain with a fun menu and great food. Breakfast is so easy to make that it really takes thought and creativity to elevate it, and Snooze does just that with their wide variety of omelettes and eggs, breakfast tacos, burritos, and bowls, benedicts, and French toast and pancake varieties - there's something for everyone here! OVERVIEW: I've been to Snooze plenty of times; it's an easy breakfast/brunch go-to spot knowing I enjoy their pancakes and hash brown bowl. Always hits the spot! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, complimentary garage parking. - Reservations? No, but you can join the waitlist online or on Yelp on your way there. FOOD RATINGS: - Crab omelette (3/5): This was good, but lacked crab meat and flavor. Needed more seasoning. Wouldn't order again, as it's not my usual, but it's a nice change from the basic omelette. I also substituted the side salad for the hash browns. - Barbacoa benny (4/5): This was pretty good. Loved the variety (big fan of barbacoa!). Served on toast, it's pretty tasty. - Blueberry pancakes (5/5): You can never go wrong ordering pancakes here! Thick, fluffy, and perfect - classic blueberry pancakes are so good, but so are all of the other fun, seasonal varieties. Some of the best pancakes ever! - Classic Snooze breakfast (5/5): Another solid staple. Eggs made to order, your choice of protein, and your choice of carb. A great, hearty breakfast. *My go-to usual is the hash brown bowl with sunny side up eggs, chicken sausage, goat cheese, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onion.

Yelp
Love the food and the pancakes are so good and fluffy. I love the chocolate chip pancake and the butter is nixed and whip. Atmosphere is very chill hip vibes and nice service!

Yelp
Hard to do breakfast and brunch any better than this place. The options are plentiful ranging from your traditional breakfast standards to modern fusion takes on your favorites. The pancakes, delicious!! We loved the strawberry shortcake pancake. My god was this good. The crab cake Benedict was also delicious. Loved the sliced avocado. The pork belly Benny is on the spicy side but also 5 star delicious. Everything is well prepared and tasty. Service was super friendly and fast.

Yelp
First brunch in Austin and I'm so glad it was at Snooze! The Eggs Benedict was fantastic, the toasted English muffin it came with buttery perfection, next time I want to order extras of those. We got the pancake trio and they were delicious, the strawberry shortcake was the best! Reservations are a must and the Yelp app or the snooze app are helpful with this, you have to get on the waiting list at least an hour before you want to visit. They've got parking so that's great!
