"This family-owned barbecue joint started in a garage in Winter Park, Florida, and has reached South Florida. Smoked meats are all the rage at 4 Rivers. Try the Cowboy Combo for a variety of flavors or, for those craving a sandwich, the Signature Angus Brisket features meat smoked for 18 hours that is hand-sliced to order. There is a vegan option for those craving the barbecue feel without eating the meat." - Eater Staff

We recently tried 4 Rivers Smokehouse for takeout, and while it wasn’t as bad as it looks, it was still underwhelming overall. The biggest issue is the portion sizes—and also presentation. It looked like someone ate half of the items before we opened it. Brisket: $20 for what looked like 2.5 small slices. It was on the chewy side, though there were a couple decent bites. Pulled Pork: Just okay. Some parts were dry, others were heavily clumped with seasoning in a way that gave you a spoonful of seasoning. Burnt Ends: Portion was tiny, like a sample cup. Sandwiches: The brisket sandwich was okay- about half of the already small sandwich was fatty (I asked for lean and moist). The pulled pork sandwich was the best of the bunch and also happened to be the free item for spending over $25. Sides: Mac and cheese tasted like boxed Kraft. The coleslaw was extremely watery; we actually had to drain it. Fries were the highlight—crispy, well-seasoned, and a solid portion. Kids' Meal: Chicken tenders looked and tasted like frozen grocery store tenders. Not good, but edible if you’re hungry and your kids don’t care. It came with a small drink and a basic chocolate chip cookie. Presentation & Ordering: Takeout presentation was sloppy and off-putting. They also don’t list meat portions by weight on the menu (no 1/2 lb. or 1 lb. indicators), which makes it hard to know how much you’re getting. Bottom line: It might be better in person, but based on this experience, we wouldn’t go back. There are just too many better BBQ options nearby.

A Flavorful Barbecue Haven in Coral Springs! After a day of errands, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon 4 Rivers Smokehouse in Coral Springs, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, the enticing aroma of smoked barbecue had us both excited to dig in—it smelled amazing. I ordered the signature angus brisket with creamy mac and cheese and their flavorful 4R BBQ beans. Every bite was bursting with rich, smoky goodness! My boyfriend opted for the burnt ends sandwich, and while the flavors were fantastic, we were a little puzzled by the delay in getting his food. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time—there were only a couple of other people dining—so we couldn’t quite pinpoint the cause. Unfortunately, I was almost finished with my meal by the time his arrived, which was the one downside of our experience. The setup of the restaurant was casual, resembling a fast-food-style establishment, but with a touch of charm. It was impeccably clean and looked brand new, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped smooth over the hiccup with timing. Overall, the quality of the food truly stood out—each dish was expertly crafted and packed with bold, satisfying flavors. If you’re a barbecue lover like me, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Just keep in mind that service timing might be hit-or-miss, but the food is worth the wait!

Google
Great staff and nice place but the food isn’t for everyone. Chicken is super sweet other things way too salty. I’ve had much better BBQ

Google
I was blind sided by the stars. Here goes our experience, once we reached the front, the staff didn't acknowledge us for a bit. But once we placed our order, we headed to our table since the platters weren't ready. Once we received them, we were missing several items, and after our back and forth to the cashier, we started to dig in. Unfortunately, it got worse, the food was cold and undercooked and to top it off the humity inside was killer. The only thing that was enjoyable was the cornbread that I would rate a 5 out of 5 😋. But over all, I agree with previous reviews on the lack of quality and poor customer service. Please work on this.

Google
I couldn't wait to come on and leave a review. Where do I start, the food was outstanding. The meats were seasoned and smoked to perfection. The portion sizes were perfect 👌🏾. The corn bread was not dry. Everything was so flavorful. I will absolutely come back and recruit my friends and family. Thank you for an amazing dinner. 👏 PS when we say, you're invited to the barbecue, these are the flavors you will expect. Kudos

Google
Four Rivers Smokehouse never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, but it’s the burnt ends that keep me coming back—they’re perfectly tender and full of flavor. I love how easy the whole experience is, too. I just order ahead, and they bring the food right out to my car. Great service, incredible BBQ—definitely a go-to spot!

Google
I’ve passed by 4 Rivers Smokehouse countless times over the past three years, and I’m honestly kicking myself for not stopping in sooner! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire experience even better. A special shoutout to Andrew, the manager—he was polite, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food? Absolutely mouthwatering! You can taste the passion and quality in every bite. Whether you’re a BBQ lover or just someone looking for a great meal with top-notch service, I highly recommend 4 Rivers Smokehouse to anyone and everyone. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! ANDREW THANK YOU FOR BEING AN TOP NOTCH HUMAN GOD BLESS YOU

Yelp
Love this place. Here is what we ordered and loved. Burnt ends with fries and baked beans are our fav. We tried the Mac and cheese it was average.

Jay B.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. The meat is decent. The sides have way way way too much sugar. Service a bit slow...maybe it is just tonight.

Brian L.

Yelp
There is no value to be found here, but it is good commissary style bbq. The staff are about as friendly as you might expect. The dining area is simple and clean.

Andrew G.

Yelp
This trip to 4 Rivers was a real bummer. We have heard that the quality has gone downhill, and this trip solidified that for me unfortunately. The ribs and pulled pork special is part of the Porktober Fest which I was fired up for. The ribs (1/4 rack) barely had any meat and the meat that was present was overcooked. The pulled pork was the worst part of the meal. The woman behind the counter grabbed the meat from a bin on the line, in which the pork was swimming in grease. It was inedible and very uncharacteristic of how 4Rivers usually stores the pork. The green beans were alright and the cole slaw was the saving grace. Not sure if I will be back.

Vince V.

Yelp
We came back to enjoy The Herd. I wish we could get it with just brisket but my family ate the non brisket meats. The coleslaw and bbq mustard sauce remain some of my faves and the fries never disappoint this fry snob.

Jewonda L.

Yelp
Ordered via Doordash and disappointingly, the 1/2 chicken was raw and dripping blood so I couldn't eat it. The skin on the chicken was like rubber, common for undercooked chicken. The order was poorly packed so the bag was drenched in juices. The collard greens lack flavor and taste too sweet. The green beans lacked flavor as well with a hint a sweetness. Definitely will not be returning to this place. First impressions are lasting ones!

Yelp
4 rivers?? It should be called 5 rivers. Ever since Texas I haven't looked at bbq the same. It's hard to find a good bbq place anywhere else but 4 rivers does the job. I ordered the smokehouse 2x2 which is 2 meats and 2 sides. I got an order of brisket and pulled pork. The brisket came with two options: lean and I forgot the other option but just remember LEAN as it's better for your diet and it taste good. Haha but you can also do a mix of lean and the other option. Both meats are self sufficient and didn't really need any extra help. But the signature sauce enhances the flavor. A sweet savoring bbq mix with whatever special ingredients they put in there ! My two sides were fries and max and cheese and both did not disappoint. Fries stayed crispy & the Mac n cheese was just right. To wash it down, I got the sweet tea. It's a must for BBQ. They ran out but the manager was nice enough to get us a new batch.

David K.

Yelp
I visited this location a couple of weeks ago with a friend. I'm not a meat eater so the vegan burnt ends were appealing. I found them to be tasty and pretty satisfying as an option in a bbq joint that mainly has meats. I had fries and slaw with it and enjoyed it being like I remembered bbq. My friend had a combo with the brisket which he liked and the ribs which he didn't finish and thought were just okay. You order at a counter, and the person working there offered a sample of the brisket for him to try. I thought that was a nice touch. Would I go back? Maybe. If I was nearby and wanted some bbq.

Diana S.

Yelp
Excellent brisket!! Coleslaw is good as well as their baked beans cheerful atmosphere

Mike M.

Yelp
Got take out and it was delicious. The different meats (Brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends) were all tender and flavorful. The sides were also a good compliment with Mac and cheese, coleslaw and beans being my favorite. Would try them again but want to see how it to dine in vs doing take out.

Natalee T.

Yelp
I would give them a 3 1/2. I wanted to love them but I thought they were okay. Their burnt ends tasted like salted red herring, If you're from the islands you know what I mean. Their ribs were fine, Mac n cheese, okay. I would give them another try. If I had to choose a bbq spot to eat, I would choose mission BBQ.

Steve C.

Yelp
The best barbecue in Coral Springs. From the brisket to the ribs the barbecue can't be beat. The servers are always nice and helpful. The food comes out a little slow sometimes but that is okay if the food is great. There is plenty of parking. There isn't a drive-thru but there is a take out window.

Yelp
On Labor Day this seemed like the perfect place for a lavish lunch on the Labor Day holiday. But how to decide what with all the various meat and one Vegan meat (burnt ends) choices. A queue in line was forming and that's where I decided on the 2 x 2 fulfilled with great looking (pork) Sausage slices (bite-size) & Pulled Pork ... yes, pork and more pork ... ha ha! I know from past the 2 x 2 doesn't come with bread so I made sure to add a Corn Bread to my meal. I also had my mailer promo laminated coupons in hand hoping to use the $5 off. Dieting aside, I went with the two (2) side dishes which jumped out at me mostly for their beauty and their taste as I recalled from past: macaroni & cheese, and, green beans. I also had my Pitmaster Card (Loyalty) in hand and I paused admiring the Desserts case en route to the cashier. There I presented my Pitmaster Card, mentioned the direct mail coupons, and chose the Strawberry Shortcake Dessert- was told it is made here- and a soft drink. The Cashier could not get the Pitmaster card to work so I offered phone number (which did work, rang in strawberry cupcake saying she didn't have a strawberry shortcake key ('till Kitchen Mgr. came over for something else and heard me say something about cupcake at which point he advised her there now is a Strawberry Shortcake key, she accidentally rang in a Catering item which took my tab up to almost $70 but I remarked and she took that back off (deleted it). It takes a long time to pay during which delay I worry my food is getting cold. On the bright side my $5.00 OFF coupon was accepted. Stopped by the soda & condiment station to fill with Diet Pepsi (though I prefer Diet Coke) and to collect plastic in utensils. Then it was finally time to chow down. The sausage was all I hoped it would be with juicy, delicious flavor. I'd give the sausage alone an A++. The pulled pork, stringy and tasting of salt, is a solid A. Both of my side dishes (see above mention of Mac and gr beans) as well as the homemade Jalapeno Cornbread rounded out the delicious meal and are worthy of A++. I would not order the shortcake again, though, because instead of fresh berries in it I suspect thawed strawberries were used. That's ok because I did not need those extra calories and can definitely say the important part of my meal-the food- was outstanding. So glad I splurged on a cornbread to accompany the 2 x 2! Just wish the drink could have been a Diet coke instead of Pepsi brand and, on this particular visit, wish I could have gotten a straw. A guy (employee) who talked w/ cashier at register when I went up there looking for a straw said he'd help me get a straw but not finding any underneath the condiments in that cupboard he went to "the back" of the store to look there, then never returned. My overall score was a 3 1/2 what with all the perfectly flavorful American barbecue food so I am rounding it up to four (4) stars. A great Labor Day 2023 lunch choice. 4 star review!

Yelp
Pulled chicken sandwhich was good mac cheese was alright good eervice . Just very busy usually i like to ewt here very chill

Anno M.

Yelp
Portions are a joke, brisket is so dry you could draw with it or throw it and itd bounce back. Ive never seen a restaurant go so cheap on low cost sides to make sides 3oz. I ordered 3 dinners and it fit in half the size of a plastic bag.

Bill W.

Yelp
I became very ill immediately on the way home from the restaurant tonight. I had the 2x2, two lean brisket meats and beans and cole slaw. I highly recommended this restaurant in the past, five stars. While dining there, I told my wife the brisket was very dry and tasted and looked different, more salting than usual. I should have taken it back. I just put more sauce and ate it . I am from Texas and have eaten in the many famous BBQ restaurants. 4 Rivers is my favorite in FLA. I guess one bad meal out of 25 is not too bad. It will be a while before I return.

Yelp
This Review Is After 30 Seperate Visits At Diffrent Hours & Days. The Food Here Is Amazing & Consistent. Never Worry About How A Meal Is Going To Be Each Time You Come. You Know It Will Always Be Just As Savory. Add To That Great Service Who Accommodate To Your Needs, This Place Easily Gets 5 Stars On My Book. The Price Is Also Very Reasonable, I Highly Recommend It As A Must Try.

Yelp
My family and I have been craving good barbecue for ages - unfortunately our visit to 4 Rivers just didn't satisfy. We placed a big takeout order to sample a bunch of different items from the menu. Here's how it ended up: Items we enjoyed - the baked beans, the fries, and the sweet potatoes. The beans had a nice strong barbecue flavor, the fries were perfectly cooked and well seasoned, and the sweet potatoes weren't too sweet or blended too smooth. I definitely recommend these items. They saved this review. Items that were meh - the Messy Pig sandwich, the mac and cheese, and the corn bread. The meat in the Messy Pig was fine but flavor-wise it was kind of bland, even with the jalapeños and signature sauce. It also pretty much fell apart when I tried to eat it. I get that "messy" is in the name but it was kind of ridiculous. The pasta in the mac and cheese was cooked well but again, I found it bland. The corn bread was okay, but as a personal preference I enjoy sweeter cornbread with more texture. This version leaned savory and was a bit mushier than I like. Items I would not recommend - the salad, the green beans, and the ribs. The salad was like 70% corn and came with the wrong dressing. The green beans were actually fantastic in flavor, but I hated the mushy texture. The ribs were cooked well enough, but I found them pretty greasy. I also found a hair in them so.... Yeah. Wouldn't order again. Especially not for the price. I was super hopeful when I picked up our order and was smelling all of the food on the drive home, but the actual contents just didn't live up to that anticipation. Seems like my search for good barbecue in South Florida is still ongoing.

Yelp
Finally! I've been meaning to try out 4 Rivers Smokehouse since last year. This is a chain and they're all over Florida. Meant to go to one while in Tallahassee on a trip but wound up going somewhere else. Then the one nearest to me is in Coral Springs, which admittedly isn't that far in comparison to where I typically drive, but I just never go to Coral Springs. Shrug. Anyhow, imagine my surprise when I get told at work that the company was going to be providing us with lunch and it was BBQ. Moreover, it happened to be from there. Go figure! The catering order my job got consisted of baked beans, macaroni and cheese, brisket, pulled chicken, and of course a bread roll. Add your choices of hot sauce and regular sauce and that completed our meal. Honestly the portions were massive and fed 20+ people. Not to mention that there were leftovers and we typically eat like savages. Have to say that BBQ isn't typically my preferred cuisine. 4 Rivers Smokehouse definitely might be changing my mind on this. I feel this chain is worth eating. The brisket was just so tender, fork tender, and the pulled chicken was deliciously seasoned. Do accompany it with some hot sauce though as it's slightly dry. The macaroni and cheese wasn't anything to write home about, but those baked beans were something else entirely. The roll just made a sweet ending to it all. Ultimately while you won't find heaven sent BBQ in Florida, much less south Florida, I think this chain is a healthy compromise. This is especially true if you remember it's good, not great, and that as a result, you'll have your hits and misses.

Yelp
I fell in love with the original location when I was in college in Orlando, and was beyond thrilled when they opened one down here at home. 4Rivers is everybody's favorite in Orlando, and now south Florida gets to see why. Everything is amazing and the portions are huge! Definitely come hungry. I usually get the pulled chicken dinner, which comes with three sides and cornbread, and I can never finish it. They also do specials pretty often, like a turkey/cranberry sandwich at thanksgiving. I've recently branched out and tried the tacos and the bbq quesadilla. They were both good, but I'd recommend the quesadilla over the tacos. They have a great selection of old-timey drinks and sodas in glass bottles. Their desserts are also amazing. The coconut bomb is a favorite of my family, but I love the Hello Dolly. It's a brownie-type bar with literally every great flavor you can think of. Just trust me. If that wasn't enough, their mac and cheese is the best I've had in my entire life.

Trevor M.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of BBQ, and I finally had the opportunity to stop in a try this place and it did not disappoint. To begin, inside was clean, a ton of seating every where, they also had out side seating as well. I got there around open, so it was busy but the food was fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful, they got our sides ready, since we got there around open the food took a little longer to get to us. I got the burnt ends melt, let me start by saying the meet was fantastic, super tender, packed full of flavor. But, by far, my favorite party of that sandwich was the bread, it's exactly what I want in bread at a bbq join. Perfectly cooked, great flavor, good amount of butter, a good crunch, yet soft. It was amazing. The sides were great as well, mac and cheese was creamy. I also got the cheese and grits which I enjoyed a lot. Overall, fantastic food, will be going again.

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Where do I start? Lol... I absolutely love 4rivers. The food is very quality and full of flavor. Whenever I visit my favorite item to get is the brisket sandwich, and I prefer lean because the moist is a little too fatty for me. But if you like fat on your meat, then of course, try the moist. for my sides. I've tried the sweet potato, mac & cheese, fries, and baked beans. My favorite is the sweet potato casserole, and the baked beans. My husband's favorite is the fried okra and the cornbread, but all the sides are pretty good and the meat is so tender and you can tell it's been smoked and prepped. For the most part, if you call in, they give you a pick up time and when you get there, your food will be ready. The serving size is great For what you pay for, and I've never really had an issue with customer service. It's giving 10 across-the-board and a definite recommend if you love a good barbecue joint and in my opinion, it is better than mission barbecue.

Rebeca A.

Yelp
Great location with plenty of parking. The restaurant was clean. It has a spacious outdoor and indoor dining area. It has a hand washing station in the indoor dining area as well as a to-go section filled with containers and bags so you can pack up any leftovers. The food wasn't hot at all which is not something I liked, but I ate it anyway and it was delicious. I got the 2x2 meal which has 2 meats of your choice and 2 sides. I chose burnt ends and brisket as my meats and bbq beans and coleslaw for my sides. I liked how every table has a paper towel rack along with BBQ sauces, this way you didn't have to get up to get any items.

Adam R.

Yelp
I recently ubered from here, just wanting to try some barbecue, and... for the price, this is definitely a place I'll order from again! The prices were remarkably good, being about 20% lower than I thought they were, with no cut in portions (not an ounce of fat!). The beef brisket (I don't eat pork) was a bit tangy, with a very North Carolina flavor of BBQ, and just the right zest (I feel there was a bit of orange zest in it). The macaroni was creamy, and very much so a good homestyle recipe, with the crust (just the way you want it).

Jen Y.

Yelp
I used to live around the corner from their original location in Winter Park before they expanded. Baked Beans 10/10 Banana Foster Bread 10/10 Carrot Cake Cupcake 10/10 Burnt Ends 2/10 (Room Temperature, firm/dry, Flavor was lacking) Root Beer & Cherrywine 1/10 (Extremely watered down) Sweet tea 2/10 (There wasn't a hint of sweetness and I usually have to do a 1/2 sweet 1/2 non sweet anywhere I go Customer service 10/10 I think next time I'm in the area I'm just going to get a large side of baked beans and skip the meat.

Angelo R.

Yelp
I've been many times for lunch and also for delivery. Reliable and consistent. This place is spacious. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You just basically go up to the counter and order your bbq platter which comes with 3 sides. I always get the Signature Angus Brisket which is a 30-day wet-aged beef brisket rubbed with their secret sauce and smoked for 18 hours. For the sides, I love the Fried Okra, Smokehouse Corn, Mac N Cheese, and Cornbread. The brisket is always tender and juicy and you can select lean or some fatty goodness. I opt for the mix. I've also tried the Burt Ends Sandwich. Trust me, it's worth the calories. Also if you like ribs, they have the St Louis Style Pork Ribs which also come with 3 sides. Good place for a quick lunch and is affordable. Service is always polite and quick plus free parking. Will keep coming back.

Sheikera P.

Yelp
I was looking for the best BBQ and did a google search and this place came up on a top 8 list of BBQ in South Florida. I figured I'd give it a go. As you walk up to the building you notice they have ample amount of outdoor seating and fans. Inside was nicely decorated. With bench style tables and chairs and cute quotes on the wall it was all a nice touch. Once you walk in you make your way to the front counter and put in your order. They lady talking our order was helpful because I had to idea what I should try. She offered her suggestions and we took them. My hubby ordered the Burnt Ends Melt sandwich and I ordered the Smokehouse 2x2 which allowed me to choose 2 meats and 2 sides. My two sides were mac and cheese and French fries. My 2 meats were brisket and ribs. I must say everything was good. Oh and I loved their house made BBQ sauce. I could put that thing on anything. Overall great place I would try again. Next time I want to try the cornbread.

C C.

Yelp
First time customer and to be honest I regret it. Salty with no flavor, small portions and the packaging was messy where I had to guess what meat was what. It seem like they gave me the left overs of the day. Pros: The Mac and cheese and beans wasn't too bad.

Nathan D.

Yelp
Good ribs, and first time I had jalapeño cornbread and I really liked it. The collard Greens were also very tasty.. and the coleslaw was perfect.. not too wet and great flavor! It would have been a 5star rating but I really didn't like the Mac n cheese... tbh it isn't the style I like.. im more a fan of the southern baked style Mac n cheese... this one was more like the kraft Mac and cheese stove top style.. which I'm not a fan of... also even for that style in general... it wasn't really great.... ok at best.. so I'd say skip it. If you go I highly recommend everything else though!

Travel Q.

Yelp
Definitely enjoyed eating here. We were First Timers and the guy who waited on us at the counter was very friendly and didn't mind explaining the different entrees. The food was really good and the bathrooms were clean. Will return when in the area again.

Ally M.

Yelp
Weve been coming to 4rivers since they opened. Service is great and very quick. The separate to go drive up area is so convenient. Ribs, brisket, and Burnt ends are always good! Sometimes dry, but bbq sauce fixes that. The sides are all fantastic especially the bread pudding. The baked goods are also consistently fabulous.

Nathanael I.

Yelp
I got the 2 x 2 and it was pretty good if you ask me. I kinda wish it was seasoned better but you can add the bbq sauce to make up for the flavor. The Brisket was really good though I can't lie, very tender and juicy. Pulled Pork was just ok to me but after adding bbq sauce it was good. The best dish they have is the bread pudding if you ask me. I would literally come here for the bread pudding alone. As far as the burnt ends, they are phenomenal. They have some of the best burnt ends that I've ever had. Definitely worth checking out.

Nicole L.

Yelp
I love southern food but the fact that they also include vegan options. Is amazing they have something for everyone to enjoy. VEGAN BURNT ENDS is what I get when I dine there it includes. 100% plant-based meat alternative double smoked with vegan BBQ sauce and slow-roasted until caramelized. So delicious. Or go for the SMOKEHOUSE 2×2 this one is always a win. Your choice of 2 meats (Brisket, Pulled Pork, Burnt Ends, Pulled Chicken) and 2 Sides. (Prices May Vary) Try this restaurant out if you're a southern food lover and thought you couldn't enjoy this because you're a vegetarian, vegan or pescatarian. Or that you would just have to make it at home to be able to enjoy not anymore.

Yelp
When I heard 4 rivers was opening, I was pretty excited. Seeing people waiting in line for food got me even more hyped about their food. However, 4 rivers barbecue left me disappointed... 3 times in the past years. I do not typically like to leave a bad review. But trying it 3 times over the span of 2-3 years and having not so great food every time definitely warranted it... We went on a Thursday night September 2022 around 7:30 pm. They seemed to be fully staffed but I blame on management for not assigning a clear role for each worker. They were working hard but everyone seem to be running doing a little bit of everything. The line was long and slow considering this is a cafeteria style. Then when we get up to the front of the line, we were informed they ran out of brisket. With great disappointment I ordered burned end and smoke chicken instead. I must say, if you MUST eat here, get their smoke chicken. It is definitely the best on their menu. In summary, after trying 3 times, I will not return. Here's pro and con for your quick reference. PRO: -Smoke chicken (get the dark meat, it is very good) -Sink to wash your hands Con: -Everything tasted very peppery, not good for children -Run out of certain. Popular item if they are busy -Poor crowd management, line is very slow even though they had plenty of workers (management need to work on it) - burned end literally taste like... they gave you burned ends - pull chicken is weird... it's like mixed in some sort of rice?

Sam K.

Yelp
It's not perfect, as 5-stars would imply, but it's definitely the best barbecue anywhere close to Coral Springs that I've tried. Things I love there: BRISKET, ribs, pulled pork, fried okra (they come out looking like tater tots), bread pudding, and the fries are pretty good too. Things I wish were better: most of the sides, including the cornbread and the mac & cheese.

Catherine B.

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Very attentive. My husband had brisket and pulled pork with coleslaw and beans. Everything was delicious on his plate. My sandwich was perfection. Fries, perfect. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

Kyle W.

Yelp
Insanely good. Insanely. I got the 2x2 and it was the perfect amount of food. Everything was extremely flavorful. Almost TOO flavorful. Staff was very nice as well. (For more great reading material check out @TheDevoutHumorist on IG or FB)

Yelp
The food is amazing and I love their pulled pork. The service is good and they have always taken our orders accurately. My only contention is they are closed sundays

Yelp
I am reviewing this and my rating is only rated on the food not the restaurant or service. Came here for lunch while up in the neighborhood. Came on Yelp and saw the pictures. Instantly was drawn in by the pics and honestly had a hankering for some BBB and sweet tea! Arrived and was told by employee that the two and two was a favorite. Let's go! I opted for the brisket and burnt ends for the meat and collards and Mac and cheese for sides with dinner roll. The brisket was tough and didn't melt in my mouth and the burnt ends were super salty and tasted and looked liked scraps not burnt ends! The max and cheese was good and the collards were not bad just seemed soggy. Dinner roll was dry stale and based on looks and feel better left alone. Sweet tea was good but on second cup I opted to mix sweet with unsweetened for perfect mixture! All in all I would say I'm glad I tried it but I am good with one and done

Yelp
Food was small portions. I was looking forward having authentic mac n cheese definitely tasted like out of the box. I've had better banana pudding not a fan of it. Tried carrot cake not moist and it's hard. Will not be back.

Yelp
Tonight we chose 4 Rivers fir dinner. The guys that took our orders were very accommodating. My husband had a Brisket Sandwich and I chose a Rack of Ribs. Mine came with Corn Bread and three sides. That was way too much food for me. I will be taking some home. My husband loved his sandwich and enjoyed the Cole Slaw. This is what I thought about my meal: Cornbread- too spicy for me Collards- good with a vinegary taste Macaroni n Cheese- tasted like a boxed Craft Mix I like the real thing. Beans- excellent Ribs- good but like them tender and should fall off the bone Sauce- Two choices. I liked the not so spicy one! Sweet Tea- my favorite Next time I will try something different like the Fried Okra, Turkey Breast, Sweet Potatoes, or maybe the Brisket.

Yelp
Now I've only ever uber eats 4 rivers but i used to go to the one in Orlando, but i think this is the best bbq in the area. So i can't comment on service or ambiance but the food never ever disappoints at whatever time of the day no matter what I get.

Yelp
Enjoyed getting bbq yesterday from this place ! The place was super clean , budget friendly for your wallet and friendly. I loved all the space they had inside and outside , which is such a huge plus during these times. The food was also yummy with a couple of things concerns like the sweet potato was indeed too sweet. What I didn't like was how bright the space was and fast. When I think of a bbq spot , I think of low and slow. I also think of a more moody-rustic lighting ( if that makes sense to you, the reader ). But this seemed very sterilized bbq spot, fast dining bbq , if that makes sense. I want to mention again, that The food IS delicious but the sides are too sweet for my taste. It's good to pick up but not if you want to enjoy and speak to someone.

Yelp
Excellent chain bbq restaurant. Great brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. Love the takeaway and togo options.

Yelp
Originally had this in tally, then Orlando and now it's down south. The BBQ is so fresh tasting, the sides are homemade, and the produce is from local farms in Florida. The workers are friendly and polite. Estrus t is clean and bright. Tables big enough for large families to sit together.

Yelp
I love a good place for some barbecue! Was so excited when this place open, all the other location was further down south. I got the smokehouse 2x2 combo, it's two choices of meats and 2 sides. I got the brisket moist, they have lean and both as other options. I love how juice it was. If you like it on the dry end town I suggest do lean meat. I also got the pulled chicken, so delicious, I would either choose that or the pulled pork. They have great mac and cheese and delicious cornbread, however I wish they also had regular cornbread too. They have a great sweet signature bbq sauce to go with your brisket, they also have a spicy sauce. Overall, I love coming here, there are many options and it's not to pricy for the amount of food you're getting. I definitely recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Just moved to South Florida, this is the first bbq restaurant I decided to order from and I see absolutely no need to order from any other bbq spot. I ordered the pulled pork sliders with Mac and cheese and the side sampler which I chose collard greens, baked beans, and green beans for the sides. I also got the jalapeno cheddar cornbread and a cookie and a drink. Pulled pork 9/10 - full of flavor and the sauce is fire Mac and cheese 7/10 - it's good but I prefer baked Collard Greens - 8/10 - great flavor Green Beans - 9/10 - some of the best I've had Baked beans - 10/10 - literally the best I've had Cornbread - 9/10 - I could give or take the jalapenos but otherwise great cornbread Cookie - 7/10 - soft but crumbles to pieces, tastes good Coca Cola (or Pepsi I can't remember)- 10/10 - they got the good ice and the soda is sweet I absolutely will return again.

Yelp
First thing you notice is the service is phenomenal. All the staff is super nice and super helpful especially in decision making. They let you try a couple cuts of meat which was very helpful. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name behind the counter but he talked me into the brisket taco and not being a big taco guy this is a tall task. I have no regrets getting the tacos. They were soooooooo delicious. I will be back here! We need a true BBQ spot like this in the Pines/ Miramar area.

Yelp
4 Rivers Smokehouse is a great BBQ option for those living in South Florida. Our favorite BBQ place near our home closed towards the beginning of the pandemic, so we have been looking for a replacement for awhile. 4 Rivers has filled its spot pretty well. We've been a few times now, and we always get the brisket (fantastic!!! Moist pieces only!) For sides I've gotten the Mac & cheese (not my favorite), baked beans (pretty good!), coleslaw (delicious!), and the bread pudding (love! Except not a fan of the raisins. I just pick them out). I've also tried their sausage (great!) and the pulled pork (wasn't a fan). We had some family over before Christmas and needed a catering option. My husband thought to reach out to 4 Rivers and we were able to secure an amazing meal for an amazing price! We fed 6 adults and two kids for only $109 with lots of leftovers. We ordered their "BBQ for a Bunch" meal that included 2 lbs of brisket, 2 lbs of pulled pork, 1 lb sausage, baked beans, Mac & cheese, coleslaw, and rolls. Amazing deal! Highly recommend for an easy meal for a small-medium size group.
