If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, 400 Gradi in McKinney is the place to be! The food was simply amazing, with flavors that transported us straight to Italy. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The outdoor seating is a fantastic option as well, providing a lovely atmosphere that adds to the dining experience. Our server, Spencer, was on point from start to finish—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the evening even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving true Italian flavors in a great setting!

We had a wonderful date night! With busy schedules 2 adult kids and 3 still at home it is nice when you can get dressed up and go somewhere special. 400 Gradi did not disappoint. The service and atmosphere were wonderful, felt very classy, reminiscent of something you might find in a Dick Tracy movie or Casiblanca. We had a wonderful time, and our server Spencer was amazing. Very attentive helpful with menu suggestions and personable. We will be back on future date nights and bring friends along in the future.

The service was really good. Came for a quick date night and nothing disappointed. Ambience felt very kid friendly but not in a bad way. Drinks were good, food was just as good. In a city with a lot of good Italian food, this place stands up on its own as well. Would return.

The meal was excellent! Our server Sied was an absolute pleasure and attended to our every need. Highly recommend any of the pasta dishes, and the pizzas were excellent as well. The desserts (we tried them all) were really great! Can’t say enough good things about this place.

We had reservations for dinner on Saturday. At first they tried to seat us outside when it was 100 degrees so we had to wait a bit for a table inside. I didn't see anything online when making the reservation about potential outdoor seating. Anyway, everything was great after that, I was impressed with the red sauce and all the food plus the great service. We tried the meatball appetizer with toasted bread which was excellent. For entrees we had the Margherita Verace pizza, the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and the Rigatoni alla Vodka. All the food was fresh and delicious without being too salty. The pizza was Neopolitan style with I love. Overall a nice experience with good pricing, highly recommend.

Beautiful place, fantastic food (heaven), great service that was fast. Restrooms were clean and so was our table. Our server Alyssa was fantastic and would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is amazing. The food is not very great. It is definitely not fresh and microwaved in the plate that it is served on. I had the spinach ravioli. It was certainly not a fresh dish. The sauce was absolutely horrible and taste like it came from a grocery store bottle. The wine selection is mediocre. I simply wanted a Chardonnay. A glass of Chardonnay was approximately $14 however, the bottle was only $30. It did not make sense. Even the waiter said it did not make sense. They do not bring bread as you would expect at an Italian restaurant. I did ask for some bread and it came with no dipping olive oil. Again, this is not what one would expect From a “nice“ Italian restaurant. They should spend more money on their food than the building. At this point, I cannot recommend this place as there is better Italian food around. Great Italian restaurants are plentiful. The Olive Garden would be a better choice. If you’re going, simply for atmosphere, go for it. If you want good food and good wine; go somewhere else. My friend had the lasagna and he also stated that it was mediocre. It was clearly microwave.

The restaurant has a romantic atmosphere. The lights are low with nothing but a small light to warm the table. Most people found at the tables are couples and small parties. The pizza was Napoleon style pizza with a thin crust and generous amount of toppings. There is a large window on one side of the restaurant that opens to the kitchen. In there you can see the large pizza ovens and your food being made- it’s was a nice touch. I got a mushroom pasta with truffle oil. It’s was delicious and creamy. I still think about it and highly recommend you try when there. Overall this was a great restaurant, each dish was made with the best ingredients and I can imagine this would be a great date night place.

Yelp
McKinney location 400 Grati in McKinney was absolutely great. We had espresso martini they were perfect! Started with meatballs as an appetizer they were fresh not frozen served with bread. We had the Gnocchi De Luigi it was great. The service perfect and manger checked on us twice. Love the location and patio was perfect!

Yelp
Certainly! Here's a structured review: --- I recently dined at 400 Gradi, a $$$ restaurant that promises a high-end experience. While the interior is quite nice and initially gives the impression of an upscale establishment, I noticed spider webs across the chandelier, which detracted from the ambiance. Additionally, the music in the restroom was extremely loud, which was quite unpleasant. The hostess was dressed inappropriately for such a restaurant, wearing a hoodie, which didn't align with the expected dress code. Our waiter didn't make us feel welcome, and the wine glasses were dirty. To make matters worse, the restaurant didn't have the wine we requested and, without offering a taste first, poured an alternative right away. Given the high price point, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I had to send my main dish back as it was too fatty and lacked any discernible flavor. I really wanted to recommend this place, but sadly, for me, it's a NO.

Yelp
First we came for the Pasta. I had the Tagliatelle Alla Pescatora. The mussels ,shrimp and clams were cooked to perfection. My dining companions had the Risotto All Aragosta and Pappardelle all Funghi enjoying every fork full. We shared the three Cannoli We came back the next week after learning about the big beautiful Pizza ovens. I had the Margarita pizza which was delicious but I was wishing for a chiffonade of basil sprinkled over the top My companions were pleased with their selections and we shared a piece of Cheesecake for dessert This led to our wishing the dessert selection wasn't so weak. The restaurant is beautiful but the large windows which you face are very harsh when the sun is shining and you're facing that way

Yelp
I recommend making a reservation especially on a Friday or Saturday as this restaurant is small. We came Sunday afternoon and didn't have any issues. The atmosphere is nice and the service was great. The food was a little disappointing starting with the gnocchi. Very boring and not much flavor. The noodles of the carbonara were very al dente and had a smoky flavor to them which kinda threw me off. The bolognese tasted just like spaghetti. Calamari was good and so was the burrata. If you're debating between the carbonara and papardelle al funghi go with the papardelle. I just feel like the food could've had so much more flavor than it did. Pizzas will also have a Smokey flavor. Restaurant was nice but not worth coming back a second time.

Yelp
Our first time here. Had lunch here and seated quickly very friendly hostess & waiters. Our food came out quickly & everything was excellent. Great pizza. The lasagna was amazing & my steak salad was just wow. Will definitely be back k to try more menu offerings. Just a perfect eating experience.

Dawn S.

Yelp
Waited a while for service, had a few waiter circling through to take the same orders lol, food doesn't live up to dallas location, eggplant overly cheesy. But nice ambience with spaced out tables!

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Date night with my husband, the place is beautifully designed! For appetizers we ordered the calamari & meatballs. The aioli for the calamari lack flavor but over the dish was cooked well. I ordered the A Girl With No Name cocktail but I guess I'm not used to their egg white foam. For my second drink they made a rendition of a Moscow mule with strawberry purée which was delicious. Lobster risotto was cooked to perfection. The steak was deliciously cooked! I've never had almond purée paired with my steak but they went well together with the broccolini. They need to work on their plating, the way the steak was plate looked sad for a restaurant at this scale. Their McKinney menu on the website isn't the same as the menu you recieve in person btw. Overall this is a great restaurant for a date night or special gathering. I would come back to try the rest of the menu.

Taylor K.

Yelp
We were really excited for an authentic Italian restaurant to open so close to us, but ended up disappointed. The lasagna was terrible - the noodles were gummy, there was barely any cheese, and no flavor. The margherita pizza was great, and the only reason we'd come back is for their pizza.

Ryan R.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful restaurant, with a nice outdoor section that I can't wait to use to once it gets warmer. Food wise, the Pasta Pappardelle ai Funghi was the star. On the first bite, I could tell that this was like no pasta I've ever had. Must try for yourself. The other star was the tiramisu, was beautifully plated and was an instant wow as soon as I tasted it. We also tried the Margherita Verace Pizza (would not get again) and the Gnocchi Di Luigi, which were both okay nothing special although the Gnocchi was super pillowy and the ricotta was nice. I also loved the bowl the pastas were served lol. Our server, Mark, did a wonderful job walking us through the menu and telling us about the restaurant and its imported ingredients.

Mark M.

Yelp
We were seated outside in a moderately warm day (90) but the patio was very shaded and there was a nice breeze. We arrived early on a Monday, so it wasn't crowded at all. We enjoyed the Burrata as an appetizer. The cheese was beautifully soft and the bread was amazing. The Pesto Trapanese was nice and fresh, but it lacked salt. We had a nice Caesar salad between courses. The original came with bacon, which we had to send back since my fiancé is vegetarian, but they were very accommodating and it was very fresh and crispy. We especially appreciated their in-house croutons. For dinner, I had asked for a side of bechamel with my Tagliatelle alla Pescatora, and initially this caused some confusion. I explained to the manager that I would not have asked for something had it not been elsewhere on the menu (it was part of the lasagne). Once I explained, they accommodated me, although I was given to understand that they had to prep some fresh. I felt bad about that, but they were willing. My fiancé had the gnocchi. The entrees were great, and seasoned perfectly. For dessert, we enjoyed Gradi's version of Tiramisu. They put a new take on it with a chocolate cookie with a chocolate mousse on the bottom layer. I wasn't mad at it, and I applaud them on their adventuresome approach. All in all the dinner was very nice and we had a nice time with our server Alisa B.

Yelp
Place is nice ! Modern, clean, friendly. The minute we walked in the hostess was somewhere eating and came to the door with her mouth full, licking her fingers and asking if we had reservations. ( very unprofessional) . Got seated and the waitress was friendly. She made some suggestions. We ordered: Burrata (lacked salt and pepper) Carbonara (pasta was cooked good and freshly made, but the sauce was like premade so it had a weird taste) Bolognese ( pasta was over cooked and it was meh! Nothing special about it) Like i mentioned in the beginning place is nice. It has potential hopefully they improve for summer because location and the patio very nice!!!!!

Yelp
Imagine a cozy restaurant with rustic wooden tables and soft lighting. The air is filled with inviting aromas, and friendly staff offer great service. Soft Italian music plays in the background, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Stefano is an exceptional waiter, known for his attentiveness and warm demeanor. He greets guests with a genuine smile, offers insightful menu recommendations, and ensures every need is met with efficiency and care. His attentive service and friendly approach contribute significantly to a memorable dining experience.

Ryan A.

Yelp
Asked the waiter if this was normal "char". He said "yes". Morale of the story: Skip the pizza.

Tina H.

Yelp
Came here for a date night! The ambiance was amazing, but our time here wasn't the greatest. The service was not pretty slow. We waited about an hour before someone came to get our order. The back room was full, but the front was not that busy, I guess they were understaffed. Food we got: - Vesuvio pizza: the crust was amazing, the ingredients were good, but the bottom of our pizza was soaked and soggy from the hot hone or how they cooked it. When we would pick up our pizza, it would start breaking apart, so it was pretty hard to eat. The flavors were there, but it was not executed well, pretty disappointed (3/5) - Tagliatelle alla bolognese: noodles were a little overcooked. Again flavor was good but the execution was not there, no wow factor really (2/5) - Calamari: I really liked this and it came out crispy. (4/5) I really wanted to love this place because they have a location in Dallas, but it really fell through for us. I'm hoping it was just an off night for them.

Eric P.

Yelp
Excellent service excellent food excellent ambiance! The place is new and boost the old tradition of Italian eatery's, flavors galore with a broad selection of wines, appetizers and entree's our waiter Saeed was on point and attentive throughout the dinning process truffle pasta with a side of charbroiled chicken - Salome charcuterie board appetizer- 3 different types of cannolis, Italian cheesecake, true traditional, tiramis a red Chianti wine and a house recommended white

Cheryl W.

Yelp
The food was excellent! Unfortunately, It was a compilation of many little things that added up to a meh evening for us. Wait staff was hard to find & took over 1 hr to take our dinner order and we had to ask them to take it. Shades on windows don't pull down so the glare is so bad for about 20 minutes, you have to move. Overall underwhelmed, no salt & pepper, no fresh parmesan offered, couldn't find wait staff. For a party of 6, we spent $285.00 and felt very under served and underwhelmed by the experience.

Yelp
Sadly, 400 Gradi is one of my least favorite Italian restaurant that I've tried. For what they were charging, I expected better food quality. Caesar salad was mediocre. Could use a little more dressing. The croutons were good but it's one of the hardest croutons I've ever had. I had to be careful to not break my teeth chewing on it. Once you soak it in your mouth for a bit, the flavor was there. The mushroom pappadelle was not worth the $27 price tag. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of chewiness, but that was the only good thing about the dish. The sauce was bland and since there was no protein in the dish. I was hoping they would use more exotic mushroom. They used basic baby Bella mushrooms. The portion could have been a little bigger. They do have great patio that opens up to the main outdoor lawn of the shopping center.

Samantha C.

Yelp
My husband and I have been trying to find some delicious fresh pasta in the DFW area for a while. We found 400 Gradi show up on our online feed and wanted to try it out. The interior of this place is so spectacular! Very trendy, modern, and clean lines. We came here on a Saturday afternoon around 4 PM. The place was pretty much empty with the expectation of a couple of tables seated. We were informed that their pizzas were award wining in Australia and that their pastas were freshly made in-house! I ordered the spaghetti alla carbonara. It was delicious! Definitely one of the best pastas I've had in DFW so far. I'll definitely want to come back here for the pizzas and give that a try! This place is wonderful for groups, celebrations, a nice dinner date, etc.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Had an amazing lunch date the seafood pasta was 10/10 as well as the pizza and cannoli flight, calamari was over cooked but the Caesar was pretty good too. Service was attentive over all a cute spot.

rachel r.

Yelp
The meatballs appetizer was very good, came with three meatballs and four slices of bread. The sauce itself was wonderful and the meatballs were cooked perfectly. The pasta is cooked A La Minute which is subjective to everyone. The Carbonara was extremely rich and the Guanciale packed great flavor. The service was wonderful, our waiter was very informative and was patient with us as it was our first time dining at 400 Gradi. The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice with darker lighting.

Coey J.

Yelp
This place is new so I'd recommend reservations. We luckily found 2 seats at the bar and didn't have to wait an hour. We ordered Burrata, salad, pizza and tagliatelle alla pescatora, our favorite dish! The pizza was very traditional Italian, thin and charred, the way I like it. Everything came out at once and we may have ordered a little too much for 2 people. I'd love to sit outside next time, they have a large patio that looks nice. I chat wait to go back!

Helen G.

Yelp
First time here! Would give it a 4.5! All the dishes we ordered had great quality, the ingredients were fresh and you could really taste the quality of ingredients. We ordered the margherita pizza, meatball appetizer, gnocchi, bolognese, lasagne. and 2 pizzas: the tartufata and vesuvio. Honestly we didn't like the margherita because it was wet when it came out, it was made fresh and hot but it was wet. We liked the flavors and freshness, just it was strange it was really moist. The crust and everything else was good though ! Similarly, the red sauce pastas were really good, we loved the sauce! I loved the texture of my gnocchi and everyone loved the lasagne, it was packed with meat and really good. The bolognese was also pretty good, but nothing special. The other two pizzas, the tartufata and vesuvio were also well loved. The tartufata was so good, the mushroom flavor was prevalent throughout and the prosciutto added a nice salty flavor contrast. I liked this a lot. My friends also enjoyed the vesuvio pizza, it has spicy honey which gave it a kick and salami which was also good. It was pretty spicy but not a burning discomforting spice, and this was also unique and good. The meatballs were good and again ingredients were great quality, but I'm not sure if it's worth the $15 for 3 meatballs. Service was awesome! Sied was super friendly and explained everything to us patiently. Food came out really fast and fresh! Ambiance was high end and modern, clean. Great for dates, company dinners, or with friends. TLDR; food is overall pretty good, you can taste the ingredients' high quality and freshness. The place is high end, so I understand a higher price, but some of the dishes, while good, I didn't think were too special to warrant the price, especially for the margherita, bolognese, and meatballs. These were again good, but nothing special in our opinion. It was authentic and fresh, but the margherita pizza was wet, and the other two lacked depth of flavor for our taste, perhaps we prefer more home style cooking and flavors? Other than that service and ambiance is awesome, we really loved the other 2 pizzas and lasagne! Again, pasta was good too but not too overly special. Would return to try more!

Yelp
With the number of restaurants opening in this new area, we are happy to see 400 Gradi open their doors. Making reservations was easy via their website, it's not on Open Table for reservations. We arrived for our 6pm dinner to celebrate a birthday and the staff quickly seated us and our waiter welcomed us and wished our guest a happy birthday. The wine selection is vast and I have included an image of the wine menu. We ordered a couple appetizers and the main course options were plentiful. While we didn't order a pizza, but the ovens look awesome and the pizza we saw being delivered to other tables looked delicious. The bar area is a spot we will try next time to grab a cocktail before dinner. Overall the atmosphere, the staff, the service and the food are well worth the trip. Our next visit we'll need to sit not facing the front door. The entry faces west and the sun sets directly into the restaurant if you are there between 6-7pm. Maybe there will be window shading in the future. We tried the cheesecake and gelato. The amazing lemon basil gelato was so delicious and can't wait until their Zero Gradi gelato shop opens just around the corner. They do have a patio area and we will take advantage of it on our next visit. Make sure you stop by or make a reservation in the near future. Enjoy!

Vince O.

Yelp
Well it's my wife birthday and I wanted to get her a meatball pizza. One of her favorites. Brothers was closed so I thought well Gradi has pizza and we have eaten their meatballs several times so they must have a meatball pizza. I checked the menu and nothing listed so I called. Told them it's my wife's BD and could you add meatballs to the cheese pizza they have on the menu. The guy that answered said he would ask. Came back and said the chief said no. So I stated you have meatballs you can't add them to a pizza? NO was the answer. Well I bought both and made my own but they have lost me as a customer for poor service.

Brittany G.

Yelp
Ordered from Door dash. -- The Linguine Alla Pescatora lists prawns, clams, scallops and mussels as included protein. My dish came with only regular shrimp and mussels?? I didn't request any modifications. Thankfully DoorDash gave me a full refund.

John W.

Yelp
I went there for the Margherita Verace pizza and ended up with the fish dish. Pretty cool wood fire ovens and the meal ingredients/preparation is what sets 400 Gradi from the rest. Great spot for Happy Hour too.

Ana J.

Yelp
We ordered the Fritto Misto with calamari etc. it was so dry and hard to chew. So disappointed ! After having that experience I changed my mind about ordering the Tagliatelle alla Pescatora since the calamari was not that fresh, and got a pizza. The Italian dough did not disappoint . Service was not that a great, had to wait quite a few times to get our waitstaff, one who was in training. Having said, that a little common sense should have been applied here to ensure customers had everything they need. Sadly I will not be returning.

JC L.

Yelp
Food and service was amazing! Had the seafood with pasta and it was so good. The muscles and clams were free of sand and the shrimp was so fresh. Live music on Friday night at the patio. Will definitely come back.

David T.

Yelp
A little disappointed with the food considering the prices, but service and atmosphere were excellent. I ordered the rigatoni w vodka sauce and found it unremarkable. The cannoli trio for dessert was good. I would be willing to try again w pizza and apps.

Rosalie R.

Yelp
Tried them out with my son today and was positively surprised. Enjoyed a delicious meal on the patio with a fabulous red wine. service was AMAZING! She was knowledgeable, answered questions to help us decide from the great options. Only bad thing was the tiramisu. It bordered on flavorless. Beautiful presentation but limited flavor. I would definitely return especially if Courtney's the server.

Anna D.

Yelp
Restaurant was beautiful. Food and service was more than poor. We love the downtown location...we will make the drive and skip this location. The pizza crust was thin and soggy. (Thin to the point of holes in the crust). We couldn't get it off the serving plate without scraping it with a fork. (The downtown location is thin, but crispy and delicious) The lasagna was WAY overcooked to where the ricotta cheese and pasta was non existent...and it was well over $20 for just the piece of lasagna. Our server must have been new and didn't start cooking our entries until we had finished the appetizer (pizza). Glasses went empty most of the meal.

Amanda S.

Yelp
The food was so good!!! We ate it all! He loved it!! Service , ambience, and food are all great! Try it!!

Rebecca M.

Yelp
A wonderful dinner! Our server, Greg, was knowledgeable and very friendly. We ordered the Burrata to start and enjoyed the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. There are options for dessert but they don't have a formal dessert menu. You MUST ask for the tiramisu! It's a little different from your traditional tiramisu but that quickly made it my favorite tiramisu. This was the best bite of the meal for me! Definitely recommend for a nice date night. We'll be back.

Sharon B.

Yelp
First time visit tonight and I'm not a fan. Was so excited to try a new Italian food restaurant in McKinney; hopeful for a great meal. Was temped not to stay after reading menu, 1/3 of the items are pizza and the prices appeared high. We ended up ordering a Caesar salad with grilled chicken ($27) and lasagna ($28). Croutons on salad were too hard, and we couldn't find the pasta or cheese under the lasagna sauce. Bread (3 slices) was an additional $3 (bet the turn into croutons tomorrow). Add to that 2 glasses of iced tea and a tip (automated at 20%) and our bill was over $80. Not worth it!

Peggy A.

Yelp
We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and had the honor or having Courtney as our server. Courtney gave great recomendations and made sure we had her attention throughout the meal. Or food was on point and the timing/delivery of our food was perfect. We weren't rushed it was hot and cooked to perfection. Thank you for a great evening,

Shreya C.

Yelp
I've been to their Dallas location and this one was as good if not better! We got the meatballs which were really nice..the crab cake, that was just perfect! For entree we got the artichoke and mushroom pizza and the mushroom pappardelle pasta. Both were fabulous! Their cocktails are nice and refreshing. I got the limoncello martini which was a tad bit on the sweeter side but they happily rectified it for the next one and it tasted great! My friends got the honey bee and kiss and liked them. The service was good and the ambience is really nice. They have an outdoor seating area as well and since the weather was so good, it was perfect (amplified by the live music being played in the Central Park area). All in all, a must visit.

Laura B.

Yelp
I've heard great reviews and really wanted to love this place, but I've had better experiences at plenty of pizza places around Dallas. We got the calamari appetizer, three different pizzas and a chicken Caesar salad. The four cheese and tartufata pizzas were good, the dough is excellent. The toscana pizza was underwhelming and the chicken in the salad had a weird aftertaste. Charging $14 for two bottles of water left a (pun intended) bad taste in our mouth. Their neighboring dessert spot, Zero Gradi, was closed (despite signs saying they were open) and we went there for dessert, and I felt the team at 400 should have 1) known and 2) alerted us to that. For $180, I expected A LOT more.

Katrina P.

Yelp
Amazing place to eat probably recommend lunch if you want to cut the crowd. Yummy food (tiramisu was great) and the vibe is nice.

Cindy S.

Yelp
This place was excellent! The interior gave me a hip vibe that reminded me of my nightlife scene when living in NYC. Continue walking through to the patio and now you're on a temperature supported patio in Texas overlooking a cool playground area where the kids can play while you sip on some solid cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, my Valentine cocktail was not only beautiful with a strawberry sliced to resemble a rose then frozen into rose water and Prosecco, it also packed a solid punch! Our waiter, Syed, was beyond knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Foodies will appreciate him when he describes the ingredients, where they're from and the executive chef's career path. We started with calamari. Cooked perfectly and while I didn't love that it came on a bed of aioli it was an easy fix that Syed orchestrated quickly. Sorry I can't have mayo or it's cousins. The bolognese came with fresh tagliatelle that was made from scratch in the restaurant. The pizza was a perfectly executed Neapolitan pizza cooked precisely at 400 Gradi and every one was imported from Italy. We also got the potatoes and they were so simply prepared yet so crazy good. No carbs left behind that night! We loved everything about our meal. We didn't have room for dessert but it's ok because nothing on the menu wowed us (cheesecake, tiramisu, cannoli, gelato) so hopefully they add some more creative desserts that you just can't say no to, even if you're stuffed.

Anis J.

Yelp
Well , we just went to this restaurant and threw $160 in the trash. We will definitely NOT go back. The food wasn't good and I wish the money that they spent on the decor and furniture was spent on the quality of the food. The quality of the food was not good at all but the plates and the decor was nice, which doesn't do me any good when I came home hungry.

Jeff D.

Yelp
Get the Bolognese. House made pasta. This place is really good for Pizzas and pasta. All adult drinks a flat $15. Service was excellent. Great experience. Will return.

Spencer Z.

Yelp
ORLANDO MAGIC! We absolutely love 400 Gradi. I've been coming here since about 2 weeks after they opened and every time I'm always welcomed with a smile and amazing service. Cannot wait to see the direction this place goes in the following months. (Magic game was not available though) sadly.

Steven D.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite spots. We have been bringing different Friends each to experience the excellent food and incredible service. I highly recommend you check the McKinney location out. Atmosphere is awesome and I know you'll love it!

Paula R.

Yelp
We visited for the first time last week, and were excited to find a beautifully-decorated interior space, with a large shaded outdoor patio that will be fantastic in good weather. The servers were well-trained and very kind, and we enjoyed speaking with one of the managers who visited our table during the meal. Nicely-curated wine list, but expensive. The all-beef polpette appetizer was excellent - meatballs had a lovely, surprisingly light texture, and the grilled bread that accompanied the dish was perfect for soaking up the flavorful sugo. Caesar salad was fine, though we found the addition of bacon to be a bit odd. We tried a margherita pizza on the recommendation of the server, who mentioned that it had been voted "best pizza in the world" - we loved the flavors, but agree with other reviewers that it was MUCH too wet (to the point of disintegrating the center of the pizza). Perhaps the chef would consider better-draining the San Marzano tomatoes before saucing the pizza with them. Seafood pappardelle was very flavorful, and the "pasta of the day" Amatriciana was deliciously "porky" with the generous use of guanciale, but we were disappointed that the classic noodle for this sauce, a thick buccatini, was NOT used here, but instead substituted with spaghetti. If the pizza were improved so that the crust were crisper and less wet, we'd give this place 5 stars. Overall, we think 400 Gradi is a great addition to the restaurant scene in McKinney, and we will be back.

Yelp
Top notch food and service!!! Unbelievable menu and plenty of options. Pizza is some of the best around. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great food, the server was what made the experience even better! Super knowledgeable, funny and nice! I would come back. The pizza sauce was really fresh, the portions were perfect and the drinks were really good. I was able to sample a wine and some of their lemon cello. So goooood

Yelp
We were there for Valentines with an 8:30 dinner reservation. When hostess seated us at the worst table (right by the swinging door that led to the kitchen with bright hospital-like lights) and seeing that the half-empty restaurant with plenty of booths available, we requested a different table. She said no, it's not possible. We pointed at another booth and she rolled her eyes and said begrudgingly said I'll go check. She ultimately seated us at one of the plentiful empty booths. There is no need for such an unpleasant interaction. I used to love this restaurant and even went on opening day, but definitely won't be back after that experience. I hope management sees this and trains their service team again.

Yelp
Pasta was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Pizza could have used a bit more cheese, but the crust was perfectly charred

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of visiting 400 Gradi for my birthday. I would have to say that I will definitely be coming back. These are some of the foods I tasted 1. Brussel sprouts 2.pizza 3. Calamari 4. Zuppa Di Pesce 5. Polpette Al Sugo 6. INSALATA D'AUTUNNO (salad) 7.pistachio cheese cake 8. Italian margarita Everything tasted fabulous My waitress named Bri was amazing ,very attentive and efficient. I really liked that it was not too loud or overly crowded. The restaurant is perfect size. And any restaurant that takes reservations is a plus.
