"The Fairmont Olympic is sporting a new cafe called 4th Ave in the hotel’s lower lobby. The menu consists of familiar espresso drinks plus an array of treats that look downright resplendent: macrarons, tiramisu, espresso caramel puffs, pistachio eclairs, carrot cake, chocolate cake, and more. On the savory side, there are bagel sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, and chive and cheese scones. Status: Certified open." - Megan Hill

Very nice place for siting back and enjoying some great sweets and coffee. It’s small and cozy and more of a pastry boutique not merely just an espresso bar. You can buy there cakes and a variety of delicious and very pretty pastries and desserts. Prices are not crazy either, very competitive and affordable. They serve Ladro coffee. A must try for sweets and lattes are nice as well.

Decent coffee and perfectly convenient when staying in the Fairmont. Unfortunately the $14 Lox & Bagel sandwich was one of the worst breakfast items I’ve consumed in recent memory. The lox was fine, if a little bland, but the bagel felt like it was at least three days old, just stale and hard and awful. I’ve got no problem paying a premium for a premium product but this was just awful, an insult to the customer to serve something so sub-par.

Waited in line for over 40 minutes for subpar danish. The 2 staff members were attempting to serve guest but were overwhelmed. There was no products left. Finally a manager came to help. It is a low budget Starbucks! Avoid this place and go to a proper bakery, bagel shop or breakfast restaurant.

Yumazing! Beautiful pastries that are just as delicious. We had the smoked salmon quinoa bowl, oat lattes and chocolate cake. Great staff and awesome food.

They have beautiful cakes, the pastries were very good. I love that it’s connected to the Fairmont Olympic Hotel (lower level) so you can take your treats back to enjoy in your room.

Friendly staff. Americano was smooth and the lemon poppyseed cake was light (no icy/cream) and not overly dense. They also have a handful of beautifully decorated pastries. The fruit (fresh blueberries) tart danish was absolutely delightful. The twice baked almond croissant was EXCELLENT! Flaky outside but moist inside. Not buttery, mildly sweet, and top it off with crunchy toasted sliced almonds.

What a delicious coffee shop! Brewing the Seattle original Ladro roasting beans (my personal favorite) with a collection of pastries, a small deli selection and a really relaxing atmosphere. I tried the Olympic Honey Latte, made with the honey produced from the bees on the roof of the building. It was absolutely delicious!
