Feedback, She left me waiting, while her colleague was more helpful. She left me waiting checking her phone.. I had a doctor meeting i couldn’t be late to… She refused to check me out, and didn’t know what they have in the store. She ran after me and pushed my bike i had to call for help… and she said really horrible things i am very skinny, she was running after me to attack me, as she pushed my bike. after I left the store. She refused to also give me my discount. She did this intentionally to take my pantries as we dont return them to the jar. I always have the most pleasant experience here, all the volunteers are very self conscious, helpful and really kind. This energy doesnt fit in this space.

The best selection of bulk grains and dried beans, and other ingredients and spices and olive oils that I have yet to see in NYC. Located just East of 2nd ave on 4th street. I often purchase whole grain hulled barley and black beluga lentils which are difficult to find at any other organic grocery stores, where few if any whole foods stores even have these bulk items in bins. You are encouraged to use your own container or charge to save on packaging waste, and you don't have to be a member and can still receive discounts in some cases. The prices are very fair. The members that work as staff are unusually friendly and patient. If the store is crowded or there is technical error, it can be a long wait, but it is still a better store than other grocery options. Almost all of the bulk items and fruits and vegetable are organic and locally sourced (not as local as the union square greenmarket, but sourcing from local Lancaster Farms in many cases from PA), and some items such as apples can be sourced from the NYC greenmarket, at one time from the only NY State organic apple orchard. - Be careful of the hours, as the store is only open later in the day on Wednesdays when they are re-stocking, posted on their website, and regularly opens after 12pm on most days of the week and weekend. You can conveniently call the store to confirm they are open, and confirm if anything that you want is in stock, which I often do before traveling to the store when stocking up on grains and dried goods. - 4/24/2023, Monday, 4:30pm, stocking up with flaxseed to be milled later in my own stainless steel container from the bulk section, and looking at chocolate/cocoa options which are made without the additive soy lecithin, and noting the organic Savoura greenhouse tomatoes from Canada with compostable labels. - 5/1/2023, Monday, now Raaka local Brooklyn factory unroasted 75% unrefined maple nib chocolate bars on sale, and I like the organic Tierra Farms dark Italian chocolate covered almonds from bin/jar, made without soy lecithin additive. 4th St Coop is still out of the bulk roasted peanuts today.

the best prices + experience in all of new york. they always have what i need. the employees/volunteers are the sweetest. BYO containers/bags or buy some jars. they even have an area where you can drop off empty containers for other people to use! i always look forward to shopping here.

The 4th Street food coop has some of the best and most affordable produce on the whole island of Manhattan. Much smaller than the Park Slope Food Coop but packs a similar punch. Get the family yearly membership to save an extra 8% on produce. Bring reusable containers to reduce waste. I highly recommend you do all of your grocery shopping here. Enjoy!

I've been shopping here for years. Freshest non gmo locally sourced organic produce. A trusted local establishment that has survived all the big chain supermarkets.Here's hoping they don't get priced out like all the other great small businesses in nyc. Supporting this store feels good too! Thanks to all who help make this co-op a success!

Great little coop with a good selection of staples and snacks, including hard to find local items.

Got charged way too much for the Irish Moss. The tare was 0.50, the weight of the moss was 0.06, but was calculated as 0.56. The pictures include my receipt, in which I was way over-charged. The mung beans were 0.61 pounds, slightly more than 1/2 a pound, but the sea moss does not even come close weight wise, and is not anywhere near 1/2 a pound. I tried to tell them that I did want it, asked if I could put it back, but they said no. I felt very awkward, embarrassed, and uncomfortable, so I paid and left, now feeling like I should have just left my containers there and walked out.

Great selection of products not just the same old stuff. I’ve been trying lots of new things because they put different things out on display. This time I was on my way out and saw a new coffee next to the register called THE B.e.s.t damn coffee. It’s local and women owned so I couldn’t say no 😁

One of the best food co-ops in the city. They do a lot with the space they have: 2/3 of the store is devoted to bulk items, unlike the Greene Hill Food Co-op in Brooklyn, half of which is bogged down in specialty gourmet items from UNFI encased in plastic. Training to work at 4th Street is thorough, but someone I know came through while I was doing it and I got to see the diversity of the shoppers.

Loved this little coop. I so appreciate that they pretty much sell everything through bulk. So you buy as much or as little as you like at lower prices than buying pre-packaged. They offer paper bags to make bulk purchases at a nominal cost 5 cents to 15 cents or so. I would assume that one can bring in their own bags but then you would need to weigh them before filling. I also loved that I find organic spices by bulk which I have had a hard time finding in the NY area. So I can refill fill my spice jars at a fraction of buying a new jar ...which also creates unnecessary waste by throwing out/recycling perfectly good jars. I highly recommend this little shop that is PACKED with lots a product. Selling by bulk seems to allow them to pack out in a smaller foot print.

Great place for organic nutritious ingredients. However, other than ringing me up, the clerk was focused on looking at and scrolling on a smart phone.

This place is every environmentalist's dream. Well, maybe not every environmentalist's, but it's my dream. I try to reduce my plastic usage where I can, but at a conventional grocery store, most non perishable products come in plastic. At 4th Street Food Co-op, though, you can buy basically anything in bulk, and avoid most plastic usage! I brought an empty maple syrup container and refilled it with their bulk maple syrup, which was cheaper than just buying a new container. They also are happy to weigh your containers for you so you don't have to worry about paying for the weight of the container. Also, the employees (many of whom are members of the Co-op) are always very friendly and eager to help. I've never had an unpleasant shopping experience here and will definitely be back!

Awesome little shop. Rare environmentally-friendly low waste/low impact store in Manhattan. You can bring your own containers and buy not only grains, dried fruit, and spices in bulk, but also teas, honey, oils, vinegars, and syrups (coconut, olive, sunflower oils, balsamic, rice vinegars, and maple syrup, etc.). They also sell bulk castile soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent (powder and liquid). The inventory changes slightly by week, which I find kind of fun. You can bring your own containers, buy containers there, or just put everything in paper or biobags. Sometimes people even donate old, clean glass containers that you can take for free. You can avoid generating the waste typical of a regular grocery store, and also buy only as much as you need (perfect for small NYC kitchens). Staff are all volunteers so are pretty friendly.

I really love this place!! I have been shopping here for many years. A place that's by the community, for the community!

Wow; I've been back almost a year! I'm really glad to be a member for a lot of reasons: for one (1) I get to have a hand in running the store and--sort of--have a voice in what gets ordered. 2) Avocados are only $1.11 this week! (And that's before the discount!) 3) Bulk spices: ultra-cheap and organic. With supermarket spices, you're paying for the jar and getting an inferior product. With these bulk spices, you can buy an empty jar here--preferably, bring your own--and still get away cheap because you're only paying for the quantity of spice in the jar, not air. Plus, these are organic, non-irradiated herbs and spices. The membership fee pays for itself; I'm really happy I re-joined.

A great place to shop! Good prices, and really sustainable. Support small businesses, and this is one of my favorites !

If I lived in NYC I would go to 4th Street Food Co-Op all the time. I was lucky to visit last weekend and check them out. I was on a goji berry search and this seemed like a great place to buy them. They have a great selection of bulk food, produce and spices. Another bonus is almost all of the food is organic. I liked the granola we got and the goji berries were a great deal at $16/lb compared to $24/lb at the nearby Whole Foods. I also like how they have compostable plastic bags and also paper bags. For the location the prices overall seemed really good. Anyone can come shop as a guest if you are visiting from out of town. If you are a local I would look into being a member and you can also get a student discount or for being a member of another co-op!

I noticed from my check in that I first discovered this place only 6 days ago, but realized I've been back 4 time already since - and this place is incredibly out of the way for me yet I still keep coming back. So what makes this worth the long cab/subway/walk from midtown west? They get fresh produce virtually everyday, everything is organic, and they get a much more interesting variety than larger markets offer, at a higher quality, and lower price. (I'm making up for the price though with all these cab fares, but that's beside the point). Setting expectations of course, this place is tiny - but their produce is fresh, and so far in the last week I've made the best bruschetta I've ever made with their black plum tomato, their pistou baby basil leaves, been back twice for their sweet fruits, and found delicious yam leaves offered organically for the first time, something I've never seen before. Their blog updates what's coming the next day so you can decide whether to pay a visit, and they have a membership where you can volunteer there/or join pay to join both for a discount, but even without doing so the price is fantastic. Ok, I'm going to stop raving and go make another batch of that bruschetta for dinner tonight!

This coop is taking advantage of volunteers for cheap labor. Here are the facts. I was interested in finding affordable organic food and was about to sign up for their working membership which means I would have to work 2.5 hours a week. The discount you receive is 20%. I did some quick math and realized if I spent 400 dollars a month on groceries (which is more then I would normally spend), my discount would still only amount to less then minimum wage for the hours I put into this establishment. This is not including the annual membership fee. GIVE THE VOLUNTEERS A BETTER DISCOUNT OR GET REAL EMPLOYEES. I hope people catch on to this.

Things have gotten better in the past few months here. I became a non-working members (dues $60 yearly) which entitles me to 8% discount on all my purchases. I patronize this coop almost daily, and most of the staff are friendly and helpful. In the summertime, the produce at the Union Square Greenmarket is fresher, but I still rely on this coop for supplemental produce purchases. I am satisfied with my membership.

I was a shopper at the 4th St Food Co-op before becoming a working member and love it! The co-op fulfills a few key criterion for me: - As a college student , it's incredibly affordable even without a discount. Working members receive 20% off in exchange for a mere two hours volunteering once per week - a true deal. - Local sourcing, I can shop with the assurance that ALL of the products have been sourced with the highest standard (nearly 100% organic) and when possible as local as possible. - Taste and quality, the produce is unmatched for quality and freshness. for better tasting food, shop at the co-op! - Environmentally, you can easily reduce your carbon footprint by utilizing the bulk dispensers for everything from dried fruits/nuts to teas, herbs and spices - Community, an emphasis on engaging with the community and the small space makes for an intimate setting to meet fellow shoppers and our East Village neighbors.

After shopping here for months I became a non-working member and I am so happy I did! I no longer find myself at Whole Foods which at one point I though I could not live without. The 4th Street Co-op has the best produce I've ever enjoyed- and I have been a CSA member. If you like excellent quality fruits and vegetables that you can actually taste, then this place is for you. Their selection of cookies and yogurts are off the charts.

Sometimes I need a week's worth of veggies and groceries, other times I need once carrot and a few teaspoons of random spices. Either way, the co-op had exactly what I need. Be sure to bring baggies or Tupperware to bring your groceries home! They with everything in your selected container so the lighter the better.

I'm a strong supporter of food coops, and I have lived in places where these are a delight to patronize. Well, I'm sorry to say, but 4th Street Food Co-op is a joke. It's a store that's nowhere near as big as a typical living room in a Manhattan apartment. About maybe 1/8the size of your neighborhood Gristedes. Well, all the good vibes in the world won't make a difference if there is so little food to find. Basically, they have a decent selection of bulk bins...and that's it. Less produce than is sitting in my fridge. A few canned goods that look like they were a prop for a Monty Python skit. So sad. And I wasted a great deal of time coming there, since it's not in my neighborhood. But even if you lived next door, you'd be mighty hungry if you had to eat only what they had.

Wow, what a cool place! This is a tiny, tiny grocery store that sells bulk foods and organic produce and that's about it. Bulk foods available include grains, pastas, cereals, oils (olive and canola, I think), honey, and maple syrup. Everything (or almost everything) is organic and very reasonably priced. Bring your own container/bag for a discount! Also, in case you don't know - it's a co-op. There are 2 types of membership. 1. You can pay an annual $40 fee and get 8% off all year. or 2. you pay an annual $25 fee, volunteer 2 hours a week, and get 20% off all year! Also, students and seniors get discounts too! Really cool store and really cool community. You don't have to join to shop so at least check it out!

I love the 4th Street Food Co-op!!!!!!!! I've been a member of this co-op for about 3 years and while it was great when I joined, I've seen it make some wonderful changes over the past few years. The co-op is the only place I know that spends SO much time researching vendors to make sure that the products are eco-friendly, fairly-traded, and healthy. The co-op is small, but I like that because it's easy to get in and out, and they really have tons of stuff. They have a huge selection of products (produce, bulk grains, personal care, etc.), but don't mess around with 40 types of each product, so the space is used well. You get what you want, but don't have to waste a bunch of time trying to decide between a million types of cereal and ketchup. The produce is also great. It's super fresh and organic (although, granted, it can be a little sad when deliveries are late), and they really try to keep the prices low, which is usually not a problem since it's member-run and there's low overhead costs.

Small store but they have the best bulk selection out of any store in the city. I promise. Fresh produce is a hit or miss (the cashier tried to sell me moldy strawberries for $3...I know they are local and that's great but..ew.) but you don't come here for the produce, you come here for the pantry stocking. Got a student discount which was nice. If you are getting bulk you should bring your own containers, they charge for produce bags and jars here. Best deals: almonds, Brazil nuts (5$/lb, most stores its $8 or more), cinnamon sticks, raisins, goji berries, carrots, most spices and the grains

Did you know your veggies/fruits travel on average 1,500 miles before it reaches your plate? It can be tough shopping for local organic produce. Look no further. This co-op makes it easy to shop as most fresh produce are locally and organically sourced. They offer a large selection of bulk items to include grains, nuts, spices and teas which you can purchase in as little or as much quantities as you wish. This is a nice option as I no longer have to purchase rice by the sackful as weevils seem to invade my cabinet space and eat more rice than I do. Another plus is that you do not have to be an exclusive member of the co-op or volunteer your time in order to shop (ahemm Park Slope Coop). Flash your student and senior citizen IDs for a discount. CCs are accepted. To strategically shop, sign up for their newsletter to receive updates on produce lists and deliveries dates. Make sure you bring your own baggies and containers. Mother earth will thank ya.

This place is excellent for stocking up certain things, and can save you a lot of money even if not a member. I go there for pasta, flour, sugar, oats (yes, if you arrive there and find the oat bin empty you can blame me), rice, etc. They also have buckets of dried fruit, nuts and coffee, though I don't know how their prices compare. If you are keen to reduce your environmental impact you can bring along empty bottles and refill them with oil, soy-sauce, maple syrup, etc, though it probably won't save you any money. The organic maple syrup is delicious. And if you have a few hours spare a week you can join for a pretty small fee, and then get 10-15% off depending on how much time you volunteer. They also do discounts to people on income support. I don't generally bother with their 'fresh' produce as I'm a member of a CSA (community supported agriculture) on E6th St, which is much better value. The staff/volunteers here are all really friendly and interesting, and it's run by a fascinating guy, Jason of the The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players - you'll often see him and the family there. Unlike the Food Co-op in Park Slope they are short of members (last I heard at least) so go along and chat to them about it. I've never got around to joining though...

Such a lovely store! Small storefront (I walked right by it the first time) but it has lots of good stuff inside. I am on a low-waste quest, so their bulk foods, soaps, raw honey, olive oil, and lots more was perfect for me. I tarred my own containers (and learned the new word tare) on their scale. The guy on shift was really helpful. They also have a small produce selection, milk, some meats and cheeses.

I needed tiny amounts of a few random spices for a cupcake recipe I wanted to make. I didn't feel like buying an entire jar of nutmeg, allspice, blackstrap molasses, etc. (mm gingerbread!), so I scoured the internet for bulk places. I found 4th St Co Op, which is very conveniently located for me. I went in and was fascinated - they really did have everything I needed and I could get as little as I needed. I spent a long time looking at everything in the tiny store. The products are really nice and the selection is big. I went to check out and the guy helping me asked me if I qualified for a discount. I didn't know what that meant, so I asked him... he said if you are a military veteran, student ... I am a student, so I got a discount! It was so nice of him to ask and save ME money... I mean, I wouldn't have known about it if he didn't ask. You should bring your own small containers/bags, because they will charge you for them. It's only a few cents and it motivates you to save the environment and all that, but I wasn't aware before I went in. Can't wait to go back!

I love smaller-than-my-apartment-stores like this. The wiki-based product list is usually very accurate and a great way to know what they have (all sorts of bulk herbs, spices, grains, etc. plus produce, eggs, and, dairy). and how much it is (usually very inexpensive) before you head down. You can bring your own containers, or just buy the ones that they have there. The people are great and there are no minimums, so if you just need that tablespoon of lavender or cup of flour you can get it here.

Bloody hell, I love this place. It's a neighborhood fixture. The prices are extremely fair for the produce- much cheaper than at Whole Foods and at the co-op they're always organic. The workers are quirky but always nice, and hey, they're volunteers.

More than a safe and affordable place to grocery shop - it's a community-driven store run by a friendly and eclectic group of working members. There are herbal remedy and cooking recipes in the back of the store, along with information on activism, composting, and vegan/vegetarian eating. While shopping you can learn a ton and meet new and interesting people. Strict ethical guidelines on products makes it easy to shop - everything is non-GMO and almost everything in the store is organic.

I'm a member, so maybe I'm biased. I love this place because the bulk goods are A) there, which is unusual for New York, and B) very reasonably priced (with the exception of the chocolate covered almonds, which are inordinately expensive). I get all my bulk stuff here. I do wish the packaged selection was a little better, though. Being a member is totally worth it, though. And it's something I can look forward to all week!

I just stopped in for the first time today, and I will definitely be back. The bulk goods are so reasonably priced! Lots of whole-grain options that I haven't seen anywhere but Whole Foods, except they are so much cheaper here. The store was smaller than I expected but there's a lot crammed in there. As for the produce... yes, some of it looked a little, well, dusty and old. But the majority of it looked fresh, and the head of broccoli that I bought seems good so far. Everything is organic and most of the produce is local and seasonal, and they have a list on their website of what fruits and veggies are in stock at any given time, so you can check before you go and you'll know what to expect.

Great resource for affordable high quality produce and dry goods. This all volunteer run food co-op has a wide selection of organic, local, and non-GMO goods. With over 5 kinds of almost everything such as: nuts, granola, coffee, flour, tea you are sure to find something to make your meals interesting and nutritious. Open to all - member is not required. Offering discounts to student, seniors, and welcoming new members. A neighborhood staple for the 2nd Avenue area. I always stop in for fresh veggies, tofu by the pound, spices, and baking supplies.

Great selection of fresh veggies (nice Kale). Huge bins of mixed dried fruits/nuts. The fresh produce were good. I found the bottled items, flax seed oil, and the eggs to be very high priced. I would go back --but only for the produce.

I love this place. It carries a lot of the stuff that we love: produce, bulk grain items, tofu, and spices without as much of the processed food that take up so much space in the middle of most groceries. Almost the entire store is organic and the try to source locally as much as possible. Also, you can meet a lot of interesting folks who work short shifts here every week as members (you get 20% as a working member) and you can get an 8% discount if you join as a non-working member if you don't have the time or desire to commit to a regular weekly shift, which really adds up in savings if you buy as much as we do. The best deals I have found on things we regularly purchase are on sweet potatoes, particularly Japanese, avocados, and grains/flours. They also have good greens sometimes, especially kale. I say sometimes here because it really depends on how fresh the greens are especially if we are talking cilantro or something that goes bad quickly, but since they get a shipment almost daily, you never know what you will find that is fresh if you stop in. Their tofu is also excellent. Bring your own containers to weigh for tare and then fill as much as you want even if it is only half-way, thus less waste and less cost to you. As my husband and I are about to move way uptown rather than two blocks away as we now are, I plan to use their bulk ordering, which allows customers to order bulk quantities from them for pick-up, which is good for things that we eat a lot of such as sweet potatoes in the winter, etc.

I get all of my grocery needs met here from eggs to produce to nut/seeds and rice. It's all local, organic, and all in one spot. Couldn't be happier since I made the switch from grocery stores to the food co-op.

I was walking down 4th street today and got a bit distracted by the FAB Festival. I just happened to look and saw this tiny little place with bananas in the window, which caught my eye. (I was bummed this morning when I noticed I ran out of bananas and had none to go with my wheaties). Anyway I walk in excited to buy some bananas. I ended up buying some organic gala apples and Food for Life organic bread - no artificial junk, and especially no high fructose corn syrup - YAY! Although it's pretty small, it carries fresh of produce, a bunch of nuts, beans, grains, and much more. It has a nice little homey feel to it, especially because the people in there are very nice and down to earth. As opposed to a lot of the stuff I hear about the Park Slope Food Coop. I'll definitely stop here again, not sure if I'll make it a regular yet - still scoping out for other places to get produce and organic bread at good prices. Worth stopping by though.

A must see !! This place is small.. but you wouldn't believe the items they have !! This is the second place that I found which sold WHEAT BERRIES IN BULK (specifically hard red).. They have a great bulk organic spice section and layout. I love that you can buy a cute little glass jar with a cork for a top or a taller glass jar with a a plastic spice lid (the flip up dual side lids that have one side for sprinkling and one side with a big opening or you could get the basic screw on lid-the tops are sold separately.. but for real cheap !! This is so amazing !! To be able to get a jar for yourself without having to worry about trying to find a place to store it at home. The people there are very nice !! It was a wonderful trip !! I also noticed that they sell soy-free eggs !! Bulk sections include oil, molasses, pasta, flour, nuts, shampoo & conditioner, possibly loose tea leaves (and sucanat ?), and ect. You don't have to worry about GMOs here and knowing that they take credit cards makes it easier to shop instead of trying to track down an atm.

Probably the only place where you have to question if it's organic or not - because everything is! Versatile and diverse options of ready to eat food, raw veggies and fruits, and ingredients. Fresh! Besides they always have funky things I've never seen before like kiwi berries and kum quats. Completely volunteer run and buy from ethically responsible producers. I don't think there's any other more perfect grocery store for those who are health-conscious, environmentally-conscious, and believe in sustainable farming and ethics.

A pillar of the community. This place was one of the only establishments in lower Manhattan that stayed open during the hurricane power outage. They only charge for food what it costs to keep the place in business-depending on the item they can be very low even if you are not a member. They are not whole foods so can't buy in volume so the low price does not apply to everything- but it is worth it to spend the extra dollar to support this local business that has been here since the 70's providing low prices without discrimination. Everything is vetted for quality and as local as possible. It's also one of the only places I have ever shopped where almost everyone who comes starts/joins in conversation. Where else can you find that nowadays? This is a truly special place for which I am deeply affectionate. I hope it is around for another 40 years.

As a member, I work one two-hour shift per week and save 20% on everything. Unlike at some other co-ops, anyone can shop. There are discounts for students, seniors, EBT users, and members of other co-ops. Some things you'll find at the co-op: fresh organic fruits and vegetables from nearby farms; very cheap bulk herbs and spices; bulk grains, seeds, nuts, and pasta; oils and vinegars and sweeteners; hormone-free eggs and dairy; vegan stuff; earth-friendly cleaning and personal care products; chocolate and snacks. I'm very excited to have just discovered the the 4th St Food Co-op, a small, volunteer-run, vegetarian market just east of the Bowery. The produce looks fresh and green and they have all kinds of serve-yourself bulk goodies, like nuts and rice and olive oil and soap and some healthy earthy things that I've never heard of and wouldn't know what to do with. They also have my favorite drink in the world, Reed's Ginger Brew.

I went there once before and was impressed by the selection and prices of bulk spices, so today I tried to go back for a 2nd time. I checked online and it's supposed to open at noon on Sundays. I arrived at 12:45 and waited until 1pm, but the place was locked up tight with no staff in sight. Annoying and very unprofessional!

It's a good place for buying reasonably fresh produce, fruits, beans and pasta without going to a supermarket. Good variety of stuff for such a tiny store. The staff's usually pretty cool too.

Solid selection of bulk items at reasonable prices - and efficiently packed in a small space. I got bulk active yeast here and bulk granola, both at good prices. The yeast was at like 1/3 the price of the other store close to me that had it.

Thanks for inviting me to visit again. I did and it WAS better than before. Bought snacky bulk items and a couple of avocados at a fab price. Next time, as suggested by other reviewers, I'll bring my own containers. Save the environment and money!

This place may be small, but it has some of the best fruits and vegetables in the city. I'm getting most of my stuff here from this point forward. No more bruised apples for me.

Also a member, so I get the extra advantage of 20% off (join!). Sometimes the place can be out of sorts, but hey, they're short of members. It's just awesome that a vegetarian/environmentalist/healthfoodnut-friendly co-op *exists* in Manhattan.

You can definitely save money on some basic grains and herbs when buying bulk. And, as another reviewer mentioned--bring your own containers/bags (cause they charge for theirs). The fresh fruit / veggies, however are hit or miss. But, overall a great little find.

Love the bulk options and local, organic produce. Makes it so much easier to shop when you control your portions.

tiny. tiny tiny tiny. but full of great things - bulk dried beans, flours, grains, etc! i bought cinnamon, garam masala, dried cherries, quinoa, 2 bulbs of purple garlic, and 4 glass jars for $13!

Great prices for excellent produce -- thus far. We've been disappointed over and over again by Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, and hoping that this co-op will continue to impress!

Love this place. Cheap organic produce and other yummy stuff. I plan on volunteering so I can get discounts and join the Lower East Side Credit Union. I love the commercial with Chives "the mouse" rapping on their website - so cute!
