"For the wine-drinking pickleball enthusiasts, head out to Spicewood to enjoy four outdoor pickleball courts available by reservation only. The rate is $25 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Besides pickleball, there’s a huge open lawn, multiple televisions, and a fireplace to cozy up to when it’s not 100-plus degrees, and, oh, yeah, and a wine tasting room with grab-and-go food items." - Darcie Duttweiler

Fun place to go and relax. They are entertaining for the whole family. So you can enjoy some wine while the kids play. They have a few pickle ball courts and large areas for the kids to run around. The live music was amazing, definitely worth a stop

Google
Loved their wine tasting and location next to brewery and food trucks. A fun place to reflect on a walk through nearby mule shoe park.

Google
this place was so perfect for my boyfriend's parents and mine to hang out! big big shout out to the owner, danielle, for letting us play on one of the courts she had! everyone loved their drinks as well, and my boyfriends mom who has a lot of food allergies was able to eat and drink no problem. i will definitely be coming here more and even considering a wine membership!

Google
Celebrated my birthday here this past year and just Revisited for a happy hour. The environment is so manicured and clean, there are numerous outdoor seating areas to suit your liking while being kid and pet friendly. The staff has always been so polite and helpful too! As a local realtor, I enjoy Sharing these local havens with my clients and often relaxing here after showing home to further advise them about the area and market.

Google
This is our go-to! We love to find a table, grab a bottle (or two) of their rose, visit the food trucks for a burger or pizza, and just enjoy the atmosphere. Bonus: there’s often live music on the weekends.

Google
Can recommend this spot to anyone and everyone! Awesome outdoor space great for hanging out with friends and family. Great selection of drinks, the food trucks are good too!

Google
You know, the frozen wine was better than the pinot by a mile. The atmosphere was nice however the charcuterie plate was an expensive journey into HEB deli meats and a smattering of almonds and dehydrated cranberries

Google
This is truly and incredible spot. Kudos to the owners, developers and craftspeople that put this place together. We will be back! Thank you!!!!

Yelp
This is a super fun place for group meetups. Drink offerings are delicious -I could use a Frose right now! My only concern has been broken glass on the artificial turf with so many kids running around.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds & great concept. Food truck good is great. But being a wine person, have to give 3 stars because the wine isn't that good. For what they charge I would expect top quality Texas wine. It's also kid friendly, but in an unhinged kind of way.

Yelp
The beautiful grounds at 4514 Bob Wire Road cannot be beaten. You have 2 food trucks, pickleball courts, gorgeous hillside views, lots of green space and ample seating. Whether you're into wine (5 Soul Wine Co) and/or beer (Frontyard Brewing), this location has a little something for all. We tried 5 Soul Wine Co and unfortunately, the wines here fell flat. I tried the wine flight, which consisted of 5 different types ranging from white to rose to red. The reds were more to my liking, as they were a bit more robust and dry. However, the whites were neither creamy nor crisp, instead they both tasted diluted.

Yelp
This place is totally worth the 45 min drive from Austin! They are not a winery in the sense that they do not grow and produce their own wine. They do showcase different wines in a rotating basis. The cab sav and the red blend that we tried today were delicious. Steer clear of the wine based Jell-O shots as they are oddly chewy. Will try the beer next time. I think it is a legit brewery. Highlight: there is an amazing wood fire pizza truck. Looks like it's a decommissioned army truck. Had the brunch pizza and it was divine! They contact you via text message, which didn't work out well for us as our reception wasn't the best. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of their pizzas as wile as the burgers from the other food truck. For activities they have 8(?) pickle ball courts, cornhole, and plenty of outdoor seating. At the moment they have a singer and a guitarist playing. If religious music is your jam, then you'd love it.

Yelp
Beautiful large area to relax and enjoy your beverage or pizza )food truck). I got the frose-- it was really good especially in this heat. There's pickle ball courts. Shares a courtyard with a brewery. There's a large open indoor area too.

Yelp
First time here to celebrate a friend's birthday. There is a brewery and winery. Games such as pickleball and cornhole are also here. It's a really great atmosphere to come relax, try great wine/beer, and enjoy company

Yelp
Beautiful views, a winery, a brewery, nice grounds and Pickleball! What a great way to spend an afternoon! There is plenty of room for kids to run around, and leashed dogs are welcome. Our fur-girl had a fun time watching the kids and other dogs. We enjoyed a nice Cabernet while playing pickleball. The courts are nicely fenced and are lighted at night. There is a food truck (though we did not eat).

Yelp
Great environment! The service was excellent and the food from the food trucks was a perfect pair to the drinks. I love that you can play pickleball or sit and have a glass of wine. My mom loves coors light and I asked for their lightest beer and she loved it. There's something for everyone.

Yelp
This place is awesome and maybe a little too family friendly. So 5 soul owns all the property that the brewery is also on. When we went there, they had 2 food trucks. One did pizza and salads and the other hamburgers and other food. Inside of 5 souls is wicked cool. We tried many of the red wine and they were alright. The staff is super friendly and patient. They also have non alcoholic daiquiri for the kids. Just a few flavors, but the kids enjoyed them. Of course they did they are just like smaller but more expensive Slushies. The wine itself is pretty good and a tad on the pricey side IMO. $12/glass or $36 per bottle. But the atmosphere is so darn cool. It's probably one our favorite places to go to right now. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately they are an hour away.

Yelp
5 Soul Wine Co has great wines and great outdoor space. They also have pickleball courts and food trucks there too. Shoutout to Jessica and incredible team for creating a wonderful spot for a wedding proposal! 5 Soul Wine Co, I will definitely return! The frozen sangria was excellent. Thanks for everything. They share space with Frontyard Brewing if beer is more your thing.

Yelp
Really cool vibes and superb frozen wine smoothie. Tucked away in the side of hill country and a chill spot for a good drink! Recommend and will return definitely!

Megan D.

Yelp
Open space, even when there is alot of people it doesn't feel that way. Dog friendly, kids seemed to have a good time. And the wine was great!

Yelp
5 Soul is easily one of the coolest wine bars and tasting rooms I have ever been to. Co-located at the same address on Bob Wire Road as Frontyard Brewing, this facility is an impressive one. Their tasting room had lots of space - both indoors and out. The indoor space was open and airy with tons of natural light from floor to ceiling windows and a modern interior. The service here is also a highlight as we noticed that everyone = the servers, bar managers and the owners were ALL making sure that everyone's experience was top notch. We found them to all be very friendly and personable - like those cool neighbors that you REALLY want to hang out with. One thing I liked is that this tasting room also had great energy to it - something that is missing from a LOT of tasting rooms and even some breweries. Outside, the covered patio is large with plenty of seating for friends, families. The yard is extensive - an amazing space to bring your kiddos and just let them play and have fun. This really is the kind of place that you wish was only 5 minutes (and not 45) from your house - so check them out.

Yelp
Not 5 Souls, but 5 Soul. This isn't really a winery, the grapes come from far, far away, from the land of California. This wine bar seems to be the alternative to the brewery across the lawn. This is part of a larger complex of pickle ball courts, disc golf course, brewery, and artificially turfed biergarten. This is a very family friendly place. Like one other yelper said, maybe too family friendly. "Mommy! That's your fourth drink already!" Don't mind screaming babies? Love having kids come and interrupt your drinking to ask questions? This is the place. Children are largely unattended here- you're drinking in a big play area. In fact, you can rent the wine bar for your tyke's birthday party! There's plenty of things for them to do. Whoever thinks it's appropriate to bring their children to a brewery and get upset when you curse ? They serve up charcuterie plates that are prepackaged. They're in the fridge. The wine comes in pretty bottles. Based on the price points, it's encouraged to just get a bottle instead of going glass by glass. My favorite thing about this place is that they have (G-Rated) games to play, so everyone can play! Parking was a bit of a challenge, but the place is clean, well lit and easily accesible.

Yelp
5 Soul is a GREAT concept BUT due in part to the fact it is so unleashed kid friendly the place is trashed. The GaGa pellets are all the way up to the wine bar. Kids have free reign to be kids sure BUT also demand of staff. Daddy couldn't be bothered to refill their drinks. At least the kids don't shit on the astroturf. Imagine getting ready to bit into your burger only to watch fido . Offer kid and pet friendly hours ONLY. Offer more food truck options. AND fix the mess. A leaf blower works wonders. Then fix the hundreds of light"s out ALL over the property. It looked like you only paid half your bill. Very unmanaged and Un kept.

Yelp
It's a very friendly place. There's a shared courtyard with the Frontyard Brewing. A playground for kids, a nice patio space, pickleball court, and two on-site food trucks. Wine by the glass or bottle. They have a fabulous sangria as well. Just for a little fun, get some jello shots (Blue, Red, and Margarita). They have 5 official wines which was decide upon the owner's kids. Get it? 5 children = 5 soul wine.

Cristina C.

Yelp
Good beer and wine. Pizza is pretty good. Great for kids. Pickleball courts are awesome!
