"Set to open in November at 4514 Bob Wire Road in Spicewood alongside a neighboring brewery, this new Hill Country winery will initially offer five approachable, easy-drinking wines—cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, rosé, chardonnay, and sauvignon blanc—available by the glass or bottle. The inaugural grapes come from California’s Central Coast with plans to expand sourcing to Oregon and Washington, and a wine club is in development. The tasting room will serve light bites and share a farm-to-table food truck and expansive nine-acre, family-friendly outdoor space with pickleball courts, a playground, and lawn games. To reduce COVID-19 risk the operation will emphasize abundant outdoor seating and e-commerce ordering for wine and food, and will follow CDC and Texas health guidelines. The project is led by Shannon Grant, who has over 20 years in the wine industry, and Chris Carson, who brings a commercial-building background; their combined five children inspired the name." - Erin Russell
