Tony Luke’s Brings Philly Cheesesteaks to Downtown Brooklyn - Eater NY

"In Soho, a new restaurant called 519 Broome is now serving Eastern European food like potato-filled dumplings, and it’s named after its address on Broome Street." - Carla Vianna

Ambience. Flavor. Experience. We’ve been to this place a few times now. The first time we were having drinks at the bar only. I had a drink with coffee taste in it - so so so good!!! The second time we came for dinner. Perfect evening- it wasn’t too packed so I loved that it made evening with my boyfriend romantic and peaceful, the music and ambience was so right for it. The food was unbelievably good, everything fresh and so flavory, we had lamb kebab and smoked eggplant for appetizers, and mussels in a rich vodka sauce and pasta with crab meat for entrees.. honestly everything was so tasty that i wouldn’t even be able to pick my favorite! Our waitress was attentive and the owner kept checking if we had wine and water in our glasses. Recommended :)

The 519 bar was okay. The mixed drinks were decent. Friend ordered an old fashioned and it was not good. The place needs more than 1 bartender, it took over 15 mins to order some drinks since he was busy with other patrons.

Hidden among a plethora of trendy cocktail and wine bars, Anyway cafe stands out as a strong contender for the go-to drink spot in SoHo. From the classical interior to the exquisitely handcrafted house vodkas, Anyway has everything you could ask for. The menu offers an upscale take on traditional Russian foods should you grow tired of the burgers and chicken sandwiches typically found at bars. There is even plenty to choose from for those of you with an insatiable sweet tooth (seriously, the creme brulee is amazing). My only regret is that I focused too much on trying the different vodkas and not enough on trying the food but, fortunately, that just means I have a reason to go back.

Great food! Great service! We felt like at home. David went out of his way to make sure, that we had a really great time. Every item on the menu was very tasty and of high quality. We already making plans to come back.

Burger is quite delicious - one of the better ones I've had in the city. Dumplings are very good as well.

Food was really nice but the service was not OK. Really advice you to check your bill since the pricing is way of what is advertised on the menu. Response to our remark was terrible.
