550 Pizzeria

Large pizzeria that smells delicious and looks clean. Very wide variety of pizzas available and appetizers as well. So far, in Laredo they have THE BEST crust I have found. The kids working in the front seem competent and polite. After dinner, they have caramel apples that are wildly overpriced but delicious.

We were recommended to go here and now go at least 1 or twice a week. Pizza and pastas are delicious. I've tried several pizzas from here. Today I got El Jefe and was able to substitute mushrooms for pineapple. It was delectable. 👌

Excellent service. Great atmosphere, delicious pizza. I'm from Buffalo, NY and am a pizza connoisseur. 550 pizza has a great yeast based crust....like it should be. This makes for a chewy crust that doesn't turn to rock 5 minutes out of the oven and gives it a sweet after taste. I personally like more pepperoni on my pizza, but it had good flavor. The crust got a little thin in the middle. The place had a nice outdoor seating area and had a ton of parking.

We stopped by for the 4th time yesterday and unfortunately again did not have a good experience. (We go back because we do like the pizza (the pizza only though)). but the customer service is quite literally non existent. Which is crazy because they seem so welcoming on their social media… like that’s literally why I wanted to try them out in the first place! But ultimately this makes it harder to want to support this small business. The service was extremely poor (not the people that run the food though, the guy that always brings it to us is always very kind and attentive❣️) but the girls at the register always have an attitude and it literally kills the whole experience. It’s makes it hard to want to support this small business when these girls are quite literally making faces at us if we take longer than a few seconds to think about what we want to order. ( The cashier looked back at her coworker rolled her eyes and looked back at me and it was only when she saw that I saw her reaction that she “🙂”) which obviously was very un called for. But thanks for that. The atmosphere is nice I like the decor but i definitely think the ladies taking the orders need re training on customer service. I also want to add this funny photo of the wings we ordered lol. We got the 5 count wing which were $10 and these were the wings we received… my thumb is literally bigger than the wing😭 (they added 1 extra I guess to make up for the size of them? But…still Definitely not worth it and that’s not what was advertised in their menu lol Anyways, I do think this place can improve a lot more with just working on their customer service alone, That’s the biggest factor, and maybe some quality control on their other food items as well but definitely needs a lot more attention on their customer service👎🏼

It's definitely a go-to spot for a good meal, particularly if you like good wings. You really can't go wrong with their other items as well, such as their pizza and calzones. Cheese bread could have used a bit more flavor, but overall worth the visit.

The pizza here absolutely never disappoints. The crust is always fresh, and the cheese is always flavorful. Perfect for a party or just for yourself, the pizza is always enough to make you feel satisfied. No matter the toppings, the pizza will be a delightful treat, although I do not recommend getting the wings.

Just received 2 pizzas (via Uber Eats) from 550 Pizzeria. When I placed the order I asked for utensils, napkins and plenty of crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese. I did not receive the requested utensils, I dd not receive the requested napkins. I received a grand total of two packets of crushed red pepper and two packets of parmesan cheese (see pic) for two pizzas. I spoke with the manager (Sergio) who apologised but didn't offer any meaningful solutions. Evidently, 550 is more focused on getting the pizzas out the door instead of paying attention to detail. Sounds like a management problem to me. BTW, the pizza was cold and the flavor was average at best. I wish I had read the reviews first. They don't bother to respond to reviews (good or bad).

I was very skeptical about trying this place. I'm originally from California and have been all over the world. I've had amazing pizza from San Diego, Chicago, Seattle, and Utah to Dubai and many others. Everyone in Laredo said this place was amazing and I just thought it could have been the lack of options in the area but I went in with an open mind. I ordered a large Pepperoni with fresh Mozzarella and Basil. It was a 45-minute wait but this place seems to always be busy. When I took the first bite the pizza slices had a good flop but not too much and the bit was super crispy. If you come to Laredo for work or are visiting family this place is a MUST go!!!! I also had the order of wings so I wasn't able to finish the pizza which made good leftovers!!! I would give this place a solid 8.5 the only pizza getting a 10 is pizza from Italy lol. This place is amazing and a must visit!!!! Don't wait! Run to this place!

The food temperature is perfectly hot. Taste is amazing to include portion. The service from the employees is professional and courteous. Yeah you might be fooled by their appearance but what I love is the diversity that restaurant has. The restaurant has two sides to it. One is more of a traditional pizza environment and the other has painting thats are black and white which makes it look lovely. Restroom always clean PLUS there is a small dessert business in there. The owner holds a great sense of humor is friendly and approachable. A MUST TRY!

We ordered takeout on a Saturday night, wait time for two pizzas was about 40 min, I think it took a bit longer. The service inside was fast and everyone was super friendly. Seating was plentiful and the ambiance was modern and lively, but nothing too crazy. There was some outdoor seating too. Both pizzas that we got were good, pepperoni and the ghost pizza. I really liked the crust, too! It was very doughy in a good way. Best pizza I've tried in Laredo!

The food was awesome. Mediocre service although and water cups aren't free. Which is illegal. However good tasting food!

I dont know what the big fuss is about. I cant rely on Laredo's reviews because they've never tried good pizza. Overall this pizza is bland and doughy. Great service but not good pizza. Pizza Hut and Dominos have better pizza.

Great fresh ingredients on the pizza with a just right chewy crust. Spacious expansion for the entire family to sit comfortably. Friendly employees who enjoy their job and treat customers the right way. Support local and not the big corporations. New location at Golondrina food Park is my next stop.

Fine pizza but they won't give you a water cup. They force you to pay for a bottle instead. I will never come back, it's completely inconsiderate. Also, it's hot inside and poorly air conditioned.

Pizza was okay but charging for water cups is illegal in the US. Sorry service and dirty floors.

Great spot for tasty American-style pizza; the Margherita pizza is extremely delicious. The restaurant has recently gotten larger, and has a casual and lively atmosphere with some board games available. Service has been good.

Best pizza in town! Personally operated by the owner it offers great variety of pizza and other complementing dishes. Janet uses high quality ingredients that translate into delicious creations. Staff is always nice and friendly and the renovated space is welcoming, cool and comfortable. Must give 550 Pizza a try when in Laredo.

the food was delivered an hour later than stated without any update and was cold. I will try a different pizza place next time

Pizza is great! I love the greatest of all time which is double pepperoni and double mushroom. You just need to order it crispy because the toppings are pretty heavy. What I don't like is that you cannot order anything online and sometimes they don't answer the phone. Salad needed work. Most of the lettuce was inedible.

I love 550 pizzaria and have, for the most part, had a great experience ordering their pizzas. My favorite is the Ellen. To me, it is the best one and as a bonus it is vegan and lactose intolerant friendly. My only bad experience with them was recently. I ordered online through a link I got from their website. I ordered 3 pizzas and it said it would arrive at 9pm, however the driver would call to notify the pizza was dropped off, since I had chosen a 'no-contact' option of delivery. The driver never called me to notify me the pizza had arrived, nor did they even ring the doorbell. We later found the pizza in our doorstep all cold and cover in insects including a roach! I am not sure who was at fault, but I was even more upset that I was not able to do anything about it since the delivery page did not let me leave a review or complaint. So, I would say take out and dine in is safe. DO NOT HAVE YOUR PIZZA DELIVERED! And if you do, ask them to hand it to you and be on the lookout for it!

The calzones and salad were fresh, delicious and the right ratio of filling. The atmosphere was clean, a bit hot but fans were in place. The service was excellent, courteous, and fast definitely going back.

Pleasant atmosphere, good service, AWESOME pizza! I had a vegan veggie pizza, with added jalapeños and spinach. I figure if they can make a memorable vegan pizza the other version would be a cakewalk...or perhaps "piewalk". The sauce and the crust are the main things right? Jeannette (sp?) does an amazing job on both and it just get better from there.

It's a hit and a miss, when the owner is there the pizza is delicious, the employees are always kinda rude. Service is okay, ambiance is a cool place comparing to other spots in laredo

A very solid pizza spot in Laredo. I saw they had other things also on the menu that I would be eager to try but I wasn't disappointed with what I got. If I had to critique something, I would have liked to see something else added to the crust to increase the flavor of the pizza.

Pizza sold out . Well you should list status online social media . Visiting from out of town . Stay away you will waste your time. Even the most popular places in my hometown do not SELL OUT . Mickey Mouse operation .

I don't understand who rated this pizza restaurant as the best pizza in town it's the worst pizza Ive tasted. Don't waste your money here. Little Caesars is cheaper and better.

Best pizza in Laredo, hands down. Definitely worth a try next time you're craving a pie.

Probably the best pizza place in Laredo in my opinion. They have a good selection of combinations and are flexible when it comes to substitution. Highly recommended.

Super rude when I called. Literally just said "we ran out". I've worked in the restaurant business before, I get there's rush hour and you have to call it a day because it just went so well... but literally you can say "550 Pizzeria, sorry for the inconvenience, but we happened to run out early today, we really hope you can give us a try another day" Honestly not returning nor recommending, it's hard to feel like this is a striving restaurant.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Soooo crispy and cheesy with fresh ingredients. My mouth is watering as I write this review. This establishment is very chill with very friendly service. I definitely make it a thing to come here as often as I can. Highly recommend!

The pizza is amazing! The dough is crunchy but chewy all at the same time. The sauce is very flavorful. The Ghost is my fave pizza. You can't go wrong getting pizza here!

My first attempt at 550 Pizzeria was over the weekend, where I was told they sold out of product. I left somewhat disappointed, but intrigued at the line waiting for their orders. Had to come back. Today, I placed an order for a large Jefe and Greatest Of All Time. I was extremely satisfied with the friendly, hard working staff that got my order out in 15 mins. Overall, the pizza is very solid in comparison to other spots in the area. I highly recommend and will be back for more!

I travel extensively for work, and have been in over 33 states, 3 countries, and eaten at some pretty good places. I was in Laredo on assignment and stopped at this pizzeria for lunch. I must say, being a full blooded Sicilian, the pizza here is pretty good. I suggest all travelers stop and give this a try.

Food, service and location are great. Only weird thing is their social media and advertising feature the owner too much, I just want to see pics of food not the lady and her gym workout.

AMAZING. One of the best pizzas I have had in a very long time and probably the best here in Laredo! I immediately recommended this place to my friend who recently moved to Laredo. I'm not sure if they use a pizza oven but either way this is how real pizza tastes and looks, from the crust to the toppings. I have had the Margherita, Chicken Gorgonzola, and the Jefe. I have not tried their calzones, pasta, or wings.

Love this place. Great pizza. Hot and fresh. They have a great, friendly staff that support the community!! My new spot when in town.

Absolutely amazing. I ordered a calzone from there and it was phenomenal. Best I've ever had. The staff was super friendly. Next time I'm definitely going to try a pizza. I am surely going back soon

Came to this cozy pizzeria based on a recommendation from a patient of mine .I was very impressed with the pizza and staff. I was able to get my order in a timely manner and it was delicious !! Deff will visit the next time I am in town . - Dr.B

Twice we have been here and the pizza has always been amazing. Didn't give it 5 stars because the music is always too loud and on our second visit they had heavy metal playing which we didn't care for. Also, they didn't have any fountain drinks- machine was down.

This place opened recently on Shiloh. I have it a try and had the ghost pizza as recommended and it was the best pizza I have had in Laredo so far. Sal's was my go to, but 550 takes the cake. The service was very friendly and the prices were adequate. Opening up in a pandemic is rough, but 550 is worth a try for pizza night. Would certainly recommend.

Excellent pizza! We had the jefe pizza and it was worth it. A little pricier than the other chain restaurants but you get what you pay for. Will try again
