11 fancy set lunch menus to try in Singapore - SilverKris

"Perched on the 38th floor of a luxury hotel, this upscale steakhouse offers weekday two- and three-course set lunches ($48/$58) that start with options like soup of the day, blue swimmer crab cake, Hokkaido scallop crudo or classic beef tartare and move on to prime mains such as wagyu flank and Angus tenderloin alongside chicken, salmon, Iberico pork or an Impossible Burger. Mains are paired with sides like mashed potatoes, braised wild mushrooms or truffle fries, and desserts include Basque cheesecake or crème caramel. Wine lovers will appreciate a dedicated wine concept with an extensive list and Magnum-bottle pours (including 1-for-1 wines), and there’s a Friday promotion offering two glasses for the price of one." - SilverKris

Where to celebrate New Year's Eve in Singapore - SilverKris

"A sky-high steakhouse at Andaz Singapore presenting a special five-course New Year’s Eve tasting for $208 (for two) that begins with a Boston lobster cocktail topped with Kaluga caviar and proceeds through dishes such as crispy scale blue cod bouillabaisse and semi di melone pasta with winter black truffle. Mains offer a choice between a Pira oven-grilled A4 Kagoshima Wagyu striploin “persillade” or Patagonian toothfish “persillade,” both served with potato mille-feuille, parsnip and trio pepper sauce, and the meal concludes with a mango lychee mille-feuille paired with strawberry basil ice cream; curated wine pairings are available." - Dinesh Ajith

Intimate and luxurious dining experience, great views of Marina Bay and Downtown. Great Steak and Grilled Fish. I ordered the south Patagonian toothfiah (my first time trying this variety) although the portion was slightly smaller than expected, it was delicious, tender and prepared well, served with a mild lemon sauce. Do also try their signature onion soup, it was very flavourful.

Great views of the surrounding city. The burrata starter was with dried watermelon and granola and I don’t think the combo worked well. Some classics can be served more traditionally, there is a reason for example why burrata usually comes with tomatoes. The leak and potato soup was too cold, maybe to prevent the 64 degree egg in it from overcooking. The truffle gave the too creamy dish nice aroma though. The main course was steak with good quality meat. Unfortunately the sides were served only when we had almost finished the dish. The sauce in the menu was brought only when we asked for it and it was cold. Probably they totally forgot about it and warmed it up in a rush. The melting cheese cake as dessert was the best dish in my opinion. The service was good and the wines excellent.

Ordered 3 different steaks. The tenderloin fared the best. The service was great. The ambience was lovely with live music by talented musician, Dansen John. The view from the window was picturesque. Overall, a conducive place if you prefer a quieter and smaller area over huge ones. Each table seats 2 to 4. There is a larger room next door which I believe the chatter level tends to be higher if you are used to such an atmosphere.

Located on the 38th floor of the Andaz Hotel, 665°F offers one of the best dining views in the city, sweeping panoramas of the skyline and waters below. If you go for the first seating between 6–8 PM, you typically don’t even need a reservation, and you’ll catch the golden-hour glow right before sunset. The Wagyu steak was beautifully tender and perfectly seared, paired with their compound butter and a selection of dipping sauces like ponzu soy, a thoughtful touch that elevated each bite. While the skirt steak was slightly underwhelming in flavor, the crab cake completely made up for it, packed with real crab and incredible seasoning. I even ended up using the leftover sauce to dip my warm sourdough bread so good. Overall, it’s a sophisticated yet relaxed dining experience with exceptional service and stunning views, definitely worth visiting for anyone staying at Andaz or nearby!

A wonderful birthday dinner! Lisa and Claire were very sweet and exceptional, gave us a complementary birthday cake and even took a film picture of for us and framed it! Food is amazing as well. Appetizers were okay only but the steak was amazing. Tried the skirt steak and flat iron steak. Skirt steak tasted amazing but a bit chewy, while flat iron steak's texture is AMAZING but not as flavourful as the skirt steak. Still amazing dinner and service overall, will definitely come again!

Full disclosure, the original review has been tempered with a large complimentary chocolate ice cream, chocolate mousse and chocolate brownie sundae. The restaurant had great views but unfortunately only for a few tables. The acoustics meant that it got really loud really quickly. The bustle of the open kitchen in such a small space was part of the issue. Both kitchen and wait staff appeared overwhelmed when the restaurant was full. The scallops could have been seared a few seconds more, which turned out to be the case when someone else ordered one later. The locally grown mushroom side had an overly sweet sauce that would struggle to be paired with any main. My Iberico flank steak was chewier than expected, something akin to pork neck. Fortunately the medium rare Flat Iron steak was nicely done. However, there was an overall tendency to over season/salt, especially the fries and pork that might have something to do with the herb butter. The bread was disappointingly bland and seemed like an afterthought. I couldn't decide if I hated the eggplant dip that was sweet and slightly spicy.

Came here a while back (ok actually it’s been maybe 2 years) and their food is still near the top of my mind - a testament to how good an experience I had when I visited. Tried 2 different steaks, shared a side and a dessert. We were stuffed and happy at the end of it all! Decided to leave a review only now because I am suddenly thinking about it again ◡̈

Came here with family on Friday night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The ambience and view is incredible, most importantly, the service personnel all here are so friendly and attentive. The tall gentlemen with glasses and the waitress who took our order, and the manager - Mr. Sagi, they are above expectations and service oriented. Food is good and we were happy to come here. It’s our first time here and we left with happy memories. Thank you and I will be back, cheers!
