Fun place. The menu has a lot to offer. Food was good and the service was great! Great atmosphere! Started with the pamento cheese fritters and moved on to the special (grouper fish and chips). My wife had the shredded salad topped with blackened salmon (huge piece of salmon). Grabbed a piece of the carrot cake to top things off. Will definitely go back!

Quaint place to stop o. A nice day trip. We had lunch and our server was playing both bartender and waiting tables but never made us feel as though we were lacking in the service. The ambiance is perfect if you're looking for a diner type feel with comfort food especially to keep you warm in the cooler months. I had the Nordic chowder and it was a decent sized bowl with a delicious variety of seafood. For a drink I had the lavender lemonade cocktail. It was very refreshing and tasty. There are tables to sit outsode and a picnic area in the back as well.

When my partner suggested we check out 7 Acre BarnGrill in Milton, I didn’t expect to fall so hard for a dinner spot — but wow, it more than earned its keep. The building itself has that old‑country, farmhouse charm, with weathered wood, cozy lighting, and a vibe like a rural general store turned into a warm, inviting neighborhood restaurant. You walk in, and it feels less like “going out to eat” and more like walking into someone’s welcoming, rustic home. We arrived on a mellow weeknight, sat on the covered porch, and watched as dinner‑time settled around us. Inside, there’s a big, friendly bar buzzing with conversation, and a quieter side with booths if you're after something more low‑key. Outdoors, there’s even a garden out back where some of their produce comes from — it adds a genuine “home-grown” feeling to everything you eat. As for the food — it’s the kind of comfort cooking that doesn’t try to be flashy, just honest and satisfying. I ordered the smash‑burger made from a blend of short‑rib, brisket, and chuck; the patty was juicy, the brioche bun held everything together nicely, and toppings like pimento cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon gave it character. My partner went for the slow‑cooked brisket with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies — tender, flavorful, and hearty enough to leave us both fully satisfied. For a lighter option, there was a shredded salad with kale, shaved Brussels sprouts, fruit, nuts, and quinoa, which struck a nice balance when you don’t want something heavy. We couldn’t resist dessert: a slice of goat‑cheese pound cake with a bit of compote and whipped cream — simple but homey, and exactly what it felt like winding down an easy, good meal. The whole evening was relaxed: the bartenders were friendly, the servers attentive but not hovering, and the atmosphere mellow. Even though 7 Acre gets busy on weekends, the wait didn’t feel like a drag — we sipped drinks, browsed some merch and seed‑packets by the entrance, and enjoyed the slow transition from day to night. All told, 7 Acre BarnGrill feels like the kind of place you go when you just want to unwind, enjoy good food, and feel comfortable. It’s got charm, heart, and real-deal comfort food. We left full, chilled out, and already talking about coming back next time we’re craving something simple, honest, and good.

What an amazing find out in Milton. Such a beautiful footprint with an open floor plan. The level of service is outstanding, such a friendly and helpful waitstaff. High quantity wine selection from all over the world. The only thing that tops the rest is the quality of the food. Fresh ingredients that are perfectly prepared. You won’t be disappointed, it’ll exceed all your expectations!

This one has been on my list for a while, and they did not disappoint! Located in Milton, I stopped in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. Watts greeted me with a smile and made a wonderful cocktail for me. He suggested the Crab Cake appetizer (jumbo lump, red pepper beurre blanc and sweet corn relish - omg!) One of the best I've had in a long time. My entrée was the Jumbo Shrimp Scampi (I requested capers too), and it was very, very good. Everything seemed super fresh, and it was delicious. They had a beautiful display of desserts, but I was too full to get one. Thanks to Watts, I'll have to come back and try again!

First time and enjoyed the fantastic service, food and atmosphere. Everything was prepared and presented in an exceptional manner. We will certainly return soon.

This is a go to spot for my wife and I and we are always blown away with our experience. The food is always fresh and delicious and some of the best cocktails I’ve found anywhere in Metro Atlanta. I’m a big whisky sour fan and the Buffalo Trace Whiskey Sour I recently ordered is one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to visit again very soon!

Family of 4 for dinner and It started perfect, but didn't end that way. I have found the sweet spot of this restaurant, but it may not be what you would think. The Good: The service is outstanding. The crab cake was probably the best I've ever eaten. We ordered a second. The rolls were solid. Sides were good. I thought the decor was very nice. Plenty of parking. Sat in 5 min on a 20 min promised wait. The Challenges: Don't buy a mocktail ($makers). Once the apps were done and the main dishes came out, the food fell flat. I ordered the $48 Lamb and If I could go back in time, order nothing, and keep the money, I would. Charging $48 for that dish, is a crime. The scampi was bland and pedestrian. The salmon was forgettable. And these were the bulk of the bill. The main meal was a buzz kill for sure. I could have bought tools. I'd go back, but here is what i would do. -ditch the kids -order no expensive main dishes -keep it to apps, salad, burgers -squint when the bill comes out so Im not embarrassed at what I spent on food in Milton. The vibe and service are why to come. Don't come thinking you're getting an award winning meal, but you'll be paying for one.

I need another visit and will adjust my review. My first impression was that the staff is so warm and friendly. They are pure professionals and they care. I love that. The second impression was of the wine list. Jordan. Nickel and Nickel. Beautiful wines, but their list is unapproachable and far too aggressive for the menu. If you have a cheeseburger on the menu and your lowest price bottle of red is $70+, you're not matching the menu to the wine list. This is off-putting to us and we went for glasses instead. The food menu is imaginative and creative and we liked our steak and salmon. The brisket looked great and the trout was wonderful. The buratta and pimento cheese app were REALLY good. But please please please match some more reasonable wines to the food. It's clear that they care about the wine list and they know what they are doing, but a good sommelier can find good value in the $40-60 range too. Fix this, and you'll have my business again. Note, they do have reds by the glass but they show no bottle prices on that list, so it's clear they don't want you to go there. A mistake in my opinion.

On a beautiful Fall day, I was meeting a colleague for lunch and agreed to come her way. She chose 7 Acre Bar and Grill. I'm thrilled she did! It's a 30 minute drive from East Cobb, which I didn't mind. The leaves were beautiful against a backdrop of a multitude of horse farms.Event, I arrived at 7 Acre. I loved the shaved brussel sprouts salad. It came with a hard boiled egg, baby kale, sliced apples, quinoa, avocado and more. I added even more protein with a grilled chicken breast. Ya'll know I love a good brew of iced tea and 7 Acre did not disappoint. Cue multiple refills, which our waitress happily accommodated. The ambiance is farm house meets family friendly. It's very casual and you'll find the menu is full of comfort foods. I want to come back and try even more things off the menu! Thank you 7 Acre for making my first visit a wonderful one.

Took a 2 hour drive to this cute spot. The food was great, must try their burger and crack cake. Our server was super sweet and always quick to take care of our needs. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the hospitality

Amazon place, rode our motorcycles here on a beautiful day, sat outside and had an amazing brunch.... It was a windy day, that was the only minus but we chose to sit outside, the downside other than the wind is that the dumpsters are too close to the outside seating so sometimes you could get a dumpster. Smell; really they should be relocated. Other that than Amazon place, food and staff, will go back for sure.

Food was good, not outstanding. Ambiance was missing but our service was excellent! I think we would go back if a group wished to give it a try. It was a 9 mile drive for us. It is a standalone restaurant which for us is a disappointment. We enjoying having a beverage somewhere before dinner then moving to our dinner destination then having an after dinner drink somewhere else which was impossible based on the location of the restaurant. The weather was bad the night we visited so perhaps it had something to do with our experience.

We had a Chilean sea bass that was very tasty (sorry no pictures of it), steak frites, and a new chicken dish they had on the menu (also no pictures :/). The food was not bad but the meat was a little tough on the chicken and the steak. The cocktails were tasty especially the one blueberry gin cocktail. What I really like about this place is the staff. The service is IMPECCABLE. They are so caring and incredibly nice people. Wonderful staff!!! My guest did not like his chicken dish, and it was my other guests birthday and they took the chicken off of my tab because it was not enjoyed, and treated the birthday girl to a free dessert. I will definitely give this place a shot again because the sea bass was pretty good and the fries with the steak was enjoyable. I have a feeling that the burger might be tasty...

Great food - good service. The place gets busy so come early or be prepared to sit at the bar and wait (boo hoo) Lovely area to visit. Parking lot adjacent to the Bar and grill. Very convenient

We had a late lunch today at 7 Acres and it was awesome. I love this place, the food is great. I had the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and it was delicious, absolutely perfect. The service was great, great atmosphere and I really recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back, ENJOY

I will start by saying we love this place. my 3 star rating has to do with the very skimpy $18 burrata appetizer and the decline in vegetables and sides with the trout. My regular Salmon bowl has also shrunk in portion. $242 with tip for a party of five and no alcoholic drinks was an eye opener. I am hoping the restaurant reads this because I want them to succeed. I think they are a victim of their own success. PS. Great employees!

Looked on yelp for a good place to eat and found this gem. I had no idea where it was taking us but Holy Cow this place is amazing. Our waiter Alex was super knowledgeable and gave us good tips on what to eat and drink. My husband said it was the best steak he has ever had and I had the special pasta and it was amazing. Please, if you've never eaten here it is a must!!

A local gem in Milton, this place serves up fresh "farm to table" fare (they literally have a garden out back), has a strong bar program, and arguably one of the best pastry chefs in the Atlanta metro area (bold statement, I know). Because this is a "neighborhood spot" you can expect it to be very busy on the weekends and they don't do reservations. But it's well worth the wait, which has never been longer than 20-30 minutes for us. It's non-fussy, not pretentious, and has a rustic, farm feel. On our latest visit, I was excited to try the new fall menu. We started with cocktails, an Apple Pie (bourbon, spiced apple, lemon) and a Pearsuasion (pear vodka, chai spice, apple juice, lemon) and the Country Pate en Croute. The Apple Pie was a bit tart; I think I would have gone easier on the lemon and upped the bourbon, but it was still very good. The Pate was essentially a meat pie and it was delicious! Highly recommend. For entrees I had the Nicoise Salad which was perfect. Instead of the traditional tuna, they do a seared Chilean sea bass which had a perfectly crispy crust and a nice buttery center. My husband had the trout which was flaky and mild and also very good. For dessert we had the orange olive oil cake and the poached fig pie along with a bacon old fashioned (get it - it's delicious!). Let me tell you that the olive oil cake is the stuff dreams are made of! Dense, flavorful, and just as good the next day (I took half of it home with me). My husband ordered the poached fig and goat cheese custard pie in a ginger snap crust and it was just so good! I do recommend sitting inside - the porch out front can be a bit loud from its proximity to the road. I also recommend their special tastings (wine and other liquors) out back in the garden.

This is a 4.57 place, you walk in and you can already feel the ambiance, old and country ish. I got seated quickly and the service was go. The bar was huge. The booths were high up and soli. It is kind of a wheel accessible place, it id until the entrance, 2 steep steps to go in. The waiters are nice, and cool, it takes a pretty short time to get the food. The food is always made fresh. Every day they get the meat and grind it to be fresh, it tastes good. The smoked salmon was amazing, best smoked salmon I have tried in a while. The cheeseburger was good and big , also with the sweet tea, you can put how much lemon you want in it.

Finally got a chance to return and this occasion was much better. Ordered the "smash burger" and it was excellent. Messy but expected. Fries appeared to hand cut and well crisped. One of our guests ordered the trout and thought it was excellent. Still a little pricy but who isn't today? Our server Danielle S was excellent.

Pricey, but good. Great ambiance. Prompt service. Good seating. In bucolic setting. Servers are knowledgeable and nice.

This spot has got to be hands down one of the best places to come and eat at. The ambiance is great with a country feel. I have been here twice with friends and it has not disappointed me yet. I ordered the burger here and it was so good, my boyfriend's mother had the trout and it was awesome, his father had the coconut shrimp which he loved, and I had the crispy chicken Milanese and it was so good I left the plate empty. I will be coming back !

Great place to go! My parents just moved here and we tried it out. The food was so good, and it's the cutest place. Plus the staff was friendly! The pimento cheese app is SO good. And the slaw on the chicken was amazing! Not pictured but we also had the burger and it was yummy. Will be coming back:)

I always pass by this place, and finally on an impromptu night my husband and I stopped by... and WOW! I am amazed at what good food this place has. Fresh drinks, great service, cozy and clean. Please do yourself a favor and stop by. WHAT TO EAT & DRINK:: Try the lavender lemonade! I never get any juices in Restaurants because I assume it'll be made with made with sugary fake juice but this was fresh and sooooo good. Not sugary at all. The fish and the salmon are amazing. Wings are good too. So are the Brussels. I feel like Brussels are the new thing, and these are my favorite by far.

One of our go-to restaurants in the Milton area. Never disappoints. I love their salmon. My husband likes the burgers, but honestly, all entrees are pretty great. Top-notch always professional waitstaff as well. We also love sitting on the porch so we can bring our goldendoodle.

One of our local favorites. They have a great bar, great cocktail options. The menu is great and sometimes changes slightly by season. I love their Steak Frites and Orange Olive Oil Cake. I often come in for cake only for take out. It's phenomenal. We go there often for dinner prior to catching a show at Matilda's - located behind their parking lot. Great for date night.

Great food and the service is always on par. Brussel sprouts and burgers are amazing. Now they're open 7 days a week.

Disappointing dinner tonight. I ordered the fish and chips. To begin with the two pieces of fish were so small, even smaller than fast food chicken tenders. When they were brought to the table the fish was glistening with grease and was just as greasy on the inside, I could probably wring out tablespoons of grease in these two measly pieces of fish. The fries were OK but also a bit greasy - and this meal was $20 why? I felt ill after leaving. My wife had the chicken rigatoni and she liked it even though the chicken was overcooked and some of it inedible because of being so overcooked. Very disappointed in this meal from 7 Acre.

Very disappointed in my lunch and I was giving it another shot, after not liking it the first time.. The wings were not very flavorful, big and messy, but they didn't much taste or seasoning .... and the shredded salad really was plain and boring. The Caesar wasn't much better, I'm afraid...they need to have different salad dressings. They were so bland, they didn't taste like any was on the salads when we got them, so we ordered extra dressing and it didn't help. And I really am not a complainer...I never write negative reviews...but when lunch cost nearly $50 for two people ...not counting any beverages...it was just very disappointing. On a happy note, the waitress was very nice....and they were busy...so maybe I am just not ordering the right items. So skip the wings and salads.

7 Acre was just ok for me. For the price, I was expecting more. Had a cocktail, it was good. Not great, but good. Had the brussels. Good. Followed up with the salmon. The "coconut rice" that it came with. Wow. Terrible. They checked the rice when I mentioned it was bad and agreed that it was rough. For the price, all of the parts of each meal should be high quality and the kitchen should know what they are sending out before they send it out. It was my first visit and I don't plan to go back.

We have tried to visit 7 Acre several times in the past and have always been discouraged by the wait. After visiting, I totally understand why everyone flocks here! We decided to give it another go on a weekday afternoon after the lunch rush. Boy are we glad we did! It is so cute inside and the booths are so comfy! The service was phenomenal and we were really, really pleased with the food and the drinks. We ordered the following: Pimento Cheese Fritters ($10) NC Mountain Trout ($28) Crispy Chicken Bruschetta ($20) Coconut Dream Pie ($10) Double Barrel Margarita ($12) The Pimento Cheese Fritters are insanely good! Small, but absolutely mighty. This is a bit pricey considering you get only three for $10 - however after trying these I would absolutely recommend getting them. Get them. Just do it. You'll thank me. The Trout was heavenly. The crispiest skin and the perfect amount of acid. It was delightful and I was sad when it ended. Hubs really enjoyed the Chicken Bruschetta. It is something I've had my eye on every time I peaked at the menu. If you're not a fish person the chicken here is sure to satisfy. I tried it and it was great. The chicken was so crispy and yet still moist. The accompanying salad was great. It was fried chicken at the end of the day, but ate as such a light entree. The Margarita was nice and did all the right things for me. The first was better than the second, but everyone is human. I enjoyed the second nonetheless. There were so many dessert options we were so conflicted on what to order. I didn't care for the Coconut Dream Pie we ended up ordering, but it was absolutely a personal preference. It was far too sweet for me and tasted more of chocolate and dulce de leche than it did of coconut. We will try another dessert next time. The food is guaranteed to be good with a few really amazing dishes. It seems a little pricey, but you were getting the experience of being in a historic building in the heart of Milton in the country. The wait staff wears a gingham with jeans typically, which adds to the upscale country atmosphere. The fact that they have a bar is kind of nice and they do have some outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome for the outdoor seating. They have a nice bar, too. The more gourmet items include the desserts, and some fun drinks. Burgers are great here, and I enjoy the chicken salad sandwich. Make sure you leave room for dessert.

Food was very good! I had the Seabass and it was wonderful!! Service was about an 8 of 10. I think our server had a few outdoor tables so a little slow but not a deal breaker by any means.

Love the quaint, southern atmosphere and delicious food! We miss the pork rind. They were our favorite. I love the watermelon cocktail.

So I was here last year but forgot to check in or write a review but not this time. Both times the experience was very enjoyable and satisfying. I love how the restaurant has 2 sections. One with a well stocked bar with over 14 taps with local and other beers. A nice list of wines and some amazing cocktails. Many TVs and booths which is nice for a more open and social atmosphere. And the other side a more quiet and private area. Our server was so cool. Very interactive and entertaining. She also new all the finer points of the drinks main entrees and deserts. All the meals ordered came out correct and were absolutely delicious. The (not on the menu) Porky Fries were fantastic! Real French Fries covered in slow cook and so tender BBQ pulled pork, melted cheese,green onions, sour cream and fried onion strings! Just wow! Whiskey Chocolate Pecan is the dessert you need to order. The name speaks for itself. Sorry no photo. It was devoured in minutes. Lol. I like how they have plenty of parking. Hence the name. Also they home grow all the vegetables right there on site. In fact when you walk in they have a huge display of seeds you can buy. So cool. Just a wonderful Saturday afternoon. 7 Acres will definitely be put into my local favorite Collection Folder.

Would have given it a five star, but the server was maybe having an off day. The margaritas were great! The Smash burger was Fabulous! The schnitzel a bit dry stated my husband. Second time we have been there. WILL go back!

Very interesting restaurant that has many pros and cons! The parking is a rock, bumpy road and outdoor seating right up against an incredibly, busy road! The porch and bar seating is really nice and many of the cocktails are delicious! The food is 50/50. Some really good while others needs some rethinking. Such as, salads are great but I've had the smash burger twice and both times undercooked & so full of grease and fat that i couldn't finish the meal. The Shrimp; however, is excellent! I would check it out because everyone is different but not sure about being on my repeat list.

Super good. Recommend the Fish and Chips, very tasty and quality fish. Service was good also, they were attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and honest about what dishes they recommend. It's ambiance is that of a family dining, very country feel. On a nice day I recommend sitting outside.

I have been to 7 Acre several times with family and a friend. The food was good and great service too. We have had one particular server a few times . Her name is Kristy hopefully that's how she spells her name. She is friendly and very attentive. Ask for her when you arrive. You will be well taken care of if you get Kristy as your server. Just hit home from a fabulous dinner here! I'm thoroughly impressed. Everything was fantastic from the service to the atmosphere to the food. Our server was super helpful and accommodating and genuinely attentive and interested in our having a good experience. ALL the food was delicious and not lacking in any way. What particularly stood out was the flavor of the ribeye and those goat cheese and chive potatoes are NUTS! And the blueberry custard pie - I'm 100% a chocolate gal and the cake was excellent; however, the crust on that pie is something something very special. It's not a quiet place but that's fine...just know that it's not one of those places you go for a quiet dinner. You'll be too busy eating to care about talking to whoever you're with anyway!

The food and service are both amazing. The servers are attentive and very friendly. The food is perfectly prepared and seasoned. I'm a foodie and I love good food. The dining area is very rural diner like. Outside is picnic tables under a tent. If you're looking for ambience with a romantic vibe, this is not your place.

Good is good but expensive and it now sits right next to a roundabout. The intersection was always busy but the roundabout encroached on their business.
