If you have an allergy of any kind or are worried about cross-contamination DO NOT GO HERE!
I have a severe tree nut allergy and ordered a smoothie - when making the smoothie, the staff went off of the recipe and added granola because they were missing an ingredient. This granola happened to have pecans in it - the nut I am most allergic to.
Anyways, after realizing I was having an anaphylactic reaction and urgently needed hospital attention. We promtly left, I ran over to CVS down the block, they helped to administer my Epipen, monitor my state, and called an ambulance.
The owner was initially very kind and understanding at first. As a mother herself, she said she understood what it would feel like to see your child almost die (I was with my mom at the restaurant). She offered to help with the hospital and ambulance bills, or give me an Amazon gift card...I said that's great, but I just want to make sure this never happens at your restaurant ever again. She said she wanted to meet in person to chat about better protocols and we agreed. When we were supposed to meet the following week, she went dark on us and we never heard from her again.
The total for the hospital bills was $400 for the visit and $1,200 for the ambulance - this cost sucked (obviously) but the thing that left the worst taste in my mouth was that the owner left us on read.
For my sake, don't go here. It's overpriced, the staff is not friendly, and they put random ingredients in the food. In my case, it almost killed me. Don't let this be you!
