"Rockville, Maryland, brewery 7 Locks has changed the name of its flagship beer, a rye pale ale formerly known as 'Surrender Dorothy,' after multimedia giant Turner Entertainment deployed its legal team to defend a Wizard of Oz trademark like so many winged monkeys. Co-founder Keith Beutel tells Washington Post columnist John Kelly the brewery shortened the name of the beer to 'Surrender' after Turner filed an opposition to a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that argued 7 Locks was deliberately causing confusion and attempting to profit of the iconic film starring Judy Garland. The original name of the beer was a reference to a graffitied phrase painted on a Beltway overpass with a view of Mormon Temple, which invites comparisons to the Royal Palace of Oz with dramatic, sharp spires." - Gabe Hiatt

"Former college roommates Jim Beeman and Keith Beutel operate this Rockville brewery with a handful of flagship brews like Snakeden Saison and Blockhouse Point Stout. Visitors can get an up close and personal view of the brewing equipment and taste samples or full pints in the tap room. Food trucks roll up on weekends. Short tours are available on request." - Travis Mitchell

We recently held our Cheers for Change event at 7 Locks Brewery, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to work with, making the planning process a breeze. Our guests had a great time, enjoyed the brewery tour, and loved the beer. One guest even inquired about hosting her own event there because she had such a good time! Rockville is lucky to have a small business with such a quality product that supports the local community. Highly recommend!

Was really excited to visit the taproom, as Surrender is my go-to 6-pack. Arrived at 2pm on a Sunday and was served by the most apathetic and incompetent bartender I have encountered in some time. Sold me a bottle of the Mezcal Imperial Cream Ale at $16 a pop. I asked how long it would last once I popped the cork and met with a shrug. He didn't bother opening it for me, and when I took it back requesting help, he palmed it off to his colleague. When I asked for the cork, his colleague then informed me it couldn't be recorked and would have to be drunk on premesis. Do yourself a favor and skip the taproom.

7 Locks Brewing is a pretty solid brewery with solid beers (including a variety of beer types for those with different tastes), cheap prices, and friendly people. The staff were helpful and provided recommendations. They also have a wall of board games to choose from, a few other bar games like table shuffleboard, and they have TVs showing sports as well.

Google
Best brewery in the area! Staff are all friendly, humble, super nice, and very helpful! Atmosphere is cool. I go by myself sometimes on Friday/Saturday nights and can meet people there. It’s a good local brewery that makes exceptional beer 🍻 Prices are great too!

7 Locks Brewing is my favorite brewery in Rockville and always has fresh, new beers to sample every time I come. The brewery tends to get a good mix of families with young children, young adult groups, and older adult groups. Unlike other breweries with these populations, they have not yet decided to purchase any high chairs for families with small children. I recommend this to staff whenever I visit but no cigar just yet. For the flight below, I had the Choco-Razz Porter, the Erin Go Brew, and the Belgian Grand Chu; which were all delicious.

7 locks brewery is very nice sports bar feel. They had awesome FLIGHTS. And great tasting beer. Love the workers and the location is easy to find .

Update (2024-07-17): still solid beers. Great staff and space . never had a bad experience with a staff member. (Original): Solid beers. Far more hit than miss. Decent prices and dog friendly. Good bar staff and friendly environment. They've definitely zoned in on their staple beers which is great.

For some reason this place turns out to be our most frequently visited. Beer selection is consistent: there is always 2 suiting our choices and 1 meeting the expectations. Dogs and kids are welcome, so if this isn't your preferred environment try to find a remote table. Not always possible, but worth a try. 2 restrooms, which is REALLY handy (!!) Seating isn't comfortable, so an hour is the most we have spent there. Maybe that is done intentionally to increase the circulation. Usually, there is a single person serving, creating a queue of 3-4 deep. Enjoy your visit! Hope this helps.

Yelp
I knew I'd be in the Rockville area this past Sunday, and researched nearby breweries. 7 Locks came up in a search result (however it being named after a prison didn't, lol). That said, I went to check it out. It was very brewery-ish, if you will. In a warehouse type building with minimal lighting, an open garage/bay door on a nice day, some billiards games, plus people with dogs. I sat at a large bar in fairly comfortable bar chairs. I ordered a flight, and was pleased that I got 5 samples! I set about choosing my beers, and soon they were placed in front of me. Out of the 5, I really enjoyed 3, which is a big deal! And it was a nice environment to sit in and linger over my samples while catching up with a friend. I'd visit again next time I'm in the area, for sure.

John S.

Yelp
The facade of the building is very plain but once inside, it's extremely spacious. The inside looks darks due to the color of the walls but there is plenty of lighting. I came here around 3PM on a Sunday and stayed to closing at 7PM. They have a ton beer selections brewed by themselves along with some wine options. I recommend the Potomac Fog and the Snakehead. The only downside is there are no food served here except the small bags of chips they sell. However you are allowed to order or bring your own. There are plenty of board games that one can play along with shuffleboard and Jenga. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They didn't rush us or tell us they were closing right up to the closing time. They also provided free tasting of any beer on request. This place is a perfect hangout spot with friends for a relaxing day.

Brian B.

Yelp
Don't let the warehouse facade of the building throw you off as unimpressive because the beer inside is superior and the atmosphere is super chill. There were so many selections of beer to choose from I opted for a simple flight of three because I was short on time but I could have selected five. I'm so glad I stopped here. The service was friendly and quick and the porter was on point. I'm not from the area but just passing through which is a shame because I would love to become a regular here. It is that good.

John K.

Yelp
A surprisingly nice mico brewery at a place you would never expected where there are warehouses in rockville. Excellent collections of custom beers.

Craig D.

Yelp
** Highland Scotch Ale = (4.25) Very good * Devil's Alley West coast IPA = (3.75) Good

Kevin K.

Yelp
Great beers, unique location, awesome staff that made fantastic recommendations. Fantastic overall experience.

Andrew P.

Yelp
Went here a while back and met up with a group -- parking is rather limited right in front of the place, but there is plenty of street parking. The only tradeoff is that the street is metered until a certain time, so you may end up disappointed if you don't get a spot right in front of the brewery. The interior is nice -- there were plenty of tables to sit at. And they have quite the vast selection of beers and so many board and card games to choose from! Still exploring beers, but the Devil's Alley IPA I had was good! I only had one, since I knew I wasn't hanging out too long. I shared food that was brought in -- I didn't get to try any options the brewery itself had. But I'll have to come back for that and their occasional events, like trivia and live music! It's a cool spot, and my interactions with the staff were great.

Gayle A.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Lots of beer to choose from and you can do samplers if you want it to try lots of different ones. Very casual and dog friendly. Have games and cards available. Bring your own fave food. Check to see if there's a food truck when you're planning to go.

Marjan W.

Yelp
Visited this past weekend overall, had a good time. I don't venture into MD much as I'm from NOVA but it was nice to try a new spot. The beer was cheap, I got 4 beers for $28 which was a steal and cheaper than anything I'd get in nova. It was pretty good as well. My favorite was their version of an amber, the surrender RyePA. If you're looking for anything other than beer, such as seltzer, they don't have any. We sat outside and switched inside and there aren't a ton of tables as it's not a huge brewery. It's also more industrial so don't expect the grass scenery that you get at other breweries/wineries. They did have live music which was nice. They also had board games to play. We ordered a pizza but I wasn't a huge fan of this. It was too much dough and not very flavorful. I'd skip this next time. I wish they had other food options to offset the beer but I think pizza was all they had. Overall, I recommend this spot mainly bc it was affordable.

Chipper J.

Yelp
Dogs are allowed inside if well-behaved so you can bring your dog to have a beer or to participate in trivia, which is awesome! The only issue is that they don't have enough variety or frequency of food trucks so you kind of have to plan ahead and bring your own food.

Alexandra K.

Yelp
7 Locks has a very chill vibe with a nice beer menu and lots of space in an industrial-style brewery setting. It's very family-friendly, with board games, TVs showing the Simpsons and a movie (Fast and the Furious), and someone had even brought their little dog which was running around the room. The bartenders are friendly and patrons are welcome to bring in food from nearby. We saw a table where they had Ledo's pizza, and my table got food from the food truck stationed outside (note to self - not doing THAT again). There's a nice outdoor seating area too. If you don't have a car, 7 Locks is a little out of the way. My main motivation for checking this place out was that I'd found them listed as an official dropoff location for the recycling of Paktech (the plastic beer can holders). The bartender accepted my haul, but there wasn't anything in the brewery explicitly noting Paktech recycling or dropoff, so I'm not sure what the real story there is. I might return if in the area, or if I see any new beers that seem worth checking out. The menu on Memorial Day weekend 2023 was IPA and ale-heavy, which usually isn't my preference, though the Below the Belt Blonde ale was excellent.

David S.

Yelp
This place is dope, worked out well. Had the baby on Sunday so was tryin to culture it right, beer and football! I was impressed with the quality of the beer and the coziness of the spot. I like how it was quiet, great place to go and unwind and have great beer, def wanna go back!

Angelica D.

Yelp
Chill spot to grab a beer. Went midday, Saturday and it was empty. There wasn't a food truck when we went but I know they do have food trucks at times. The beers are great and they rotate with some seasonal selections. I do love a place that has shuffle board! Definitely check this spot out if you're looking for a great local brew.

Daniela H.

Yelp
I've been here once and had a good time with my family. I like that you can take a tour of the on site brewery. It is very spacious. The staff is nice and helpful. What I didn't quite like is that there's no food whatsoever. Yes, you can bring your own food or get it delivered there but it'd be good if they offered some small plates at least. The ambiance could be improved, it's not very attractive, I think they went all the way industrial for decor but some more lighting and wall decor that makes sense could offer a more welcoming space. Their outdoors seating needs work. They just put the tables out there. I understand that they specialize in brewing beer but maybe considering those upgrades could improve the influx of customers and generate more sales. I will go back to this place, as I said, I did have a good time and the beer was great!

Travis S.

Yelp
Great spot for beer, music, and games. Inconsistent soda options (sometimes nothing at all) so BYOB if you're bringing kids.

Dan S.

Yelp
If we're reviewing just the beer itself 7 locks is probably 2.5 stars. The beer isn't particularly high quality, definitely in the bottom 25% for local microbreweries. HOWEVER, 7 locks is always a fun hang. Great chill environment with sports on TV, a great Thursday Trivia Night, top quality live music on Saturdays (whoever books their acts is great). Friendly staff and the place seems to be both dog and family friendly. I always love coming here, despite the mediocre beer. Glad to have this place in our neighborhood!

Mariah S.

Yelp
We've been meaning to come here since their opening but you know, life, right? So finally the day after Xmas, decided to sneak away from all the holiday hub bub and try out their brews. Firstly, and happy to say, dogs (well-behaved, of course) are welcome. Then, the space is inviting with cozy tables and high ceilings with a few flat screens and one huge projection. Lastly, the beers we ordered, IPA and a stout, were pretty decent. My only issue is too much head on the pour. I can understand on the stout but not an IPA. We also noticed some of the customers had brought in their own snacks. It's a great place to hangout an hour or two with friends or family. Parking is limited in the private lot but there might be street overflow parking.

Jeannine E.

Yelp
This was a really cool spot. A friend and I decided since it's getting warm it's time to hit up all the area distilleries and this was first on the list. I really enjoyed the indoor outdoor feel and the drink options are pretty good. Since it was our first visit we decided to share a flight to figure out what excited our taste buds. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and I'm sure we will be revisiting.

Samantha L.

Yelp
After dinner at Amalfi Ristorante Italiano, my boyfriend and I checked out 7 Locks Brewing. Since it was the 1st Wednesday of the month, it happened to be Belting & Brews Open Mic Night! It was nice they had shuffleboard and board and card games. Since they didn't have any of my favorites on tap (e.g., Snakeden Saison and Bitch Monkey Sour), I was forced to explore their other offerings. I sampled the Bohrer Park Blueberry Radler and Billy Goat Tr'ale before selecting the latter. The Blueberry Radler was malty, Belgiany and citrusy while the Billy Goat Tr'ale was light, sweet, and hoppy.

Brian M.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this place but it won't be the last! Great beer with a decent selection and a cool place to hang out for a drink or 2. Live music and a bunch of games! We had a great time! Looking forward to the next time I can make a visit

Meghan Q.

Yelp
Imagine going to a winery where you can bring your own food, sit down at a picnic table, and stay awhile. Now move that into an air conditioned industrial space and you've got 7 Locks. I've hosted some group events here over the years and it is such a convenient location. Their set up makes it easy for people with kids to bring food for them or for us to have our own picnic and keep going back to the bar for more drinks. Most of the time they have a food truck outside, but that's kind of it for food, so you have to bring your own. They have very limited non alcoholic drink options. I'm not sure what their official policy on outside drinks is, but we've brought juice boxes for the kids without anyone questioning us. Biggest complaint is when they run out of something on tap--inevitably its on my short list of things to try that day!

Sam A.

Yelp
So far my review is with how friendly the business is, and it's not user friendly. The website doesn't specify that they don't serve food and I was jumping through hoops trying to look for a food menu. Finally, I come to Yelp to find out that they don't serve food. Onto the actual bar itself, it's really nothing to brag about. It seems like a good place for families and older people. There's no music playing, one tv on, and there's no ac so you're sweating buckets after 2 beers and a game of jenga. Wouldnt come back.

Anna W.

Yelp
This brewery is a fun spot to hang out and play games with friends while drinking beer. The parking situation is less than ideal and it can be tough to find parking if their small lot is full, but inside is spacious. We were able to grab a large table for a big group on a Saturday without problems. I wish their beer selection was a bit more diverse as when I went, there weren't some styles on the menu. However, everything we tried was really good and reasonably priced!

Michael A.

Yelp
A 1st visit to a hidden bar in Rockville! Pretty small, but spacious layout, due to an industrial warehouse interior. There was Corn Hole in one area, board games, card games and some tables to get seated. For a large group, most people were standing near the bar. There was a projector and a couple of TVs to watch football. The atmosphere was alright and the beers were pretty good. Just that you can't order food or other drinks since they do not serve anything else besides beer. There was a food truck, Anabel's Mobile Kitchen outside where you had to order food if you wanted to eat something... After a while, decided to try the Empanadas since just drinking beer wasn't enough. Price was $9 for decent sized Veggie Empanadas for 2. It was very delicious and I had to get another order of it. So, I paid $20 ($2 for tip) for 4 pieces. A little pricey, but no other food choices... Another option was to bring your own food, so maybe next time, I'll buy food from somewhere and go to the bar. Second dilemma was finding parking. A frickin' hassle! Minus 2 for no food service and parking issue. Other than those inconveniences, the place was fine. Met some new people during an event.

Marlon T.

Yelp
7 Locks Brewing is a solid drinking establishment in Rockville, MD. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they've adjusted their brewery layout with lots of outside seating and only a few tables inside. I don't recall exactly what I ordered, but I do remember one of their beers selling out. My point is that they're popular and tasty enough to be gone! I like how they had a pizza vendor outside and I couldn't not get one to go with my delicious beer. I'm a fan!

Fred K.

Yelp
What a fantastic brewmaster, making such great tasting craft beers. It certainly has put Rockville on the map for local breweries and glad to see that many restaurants/bars are also 7 Locks on tap too! The brewery does not offer any food, as the other reviews state, and most of the time I am here, there is a food truck where you can get food. Otherwise, bring your own food. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, where I see people play Zenga, board games, watch tv, and just enjoy the beers here. Count me as a fan (Surrender Dorothy! and miss their Black Lager beer) and glad they also sell beer to go in cans. Don't know if they sell growlers.

Bec C.

Yelp
Good beer. Lots of kids running around screaming so if that's your jam, this is your place. But like I said, good beer.

Libby F.

Yelp
7 Locks Brewing is a great local brewery. I love that they sell their Surrender Dorothy Rye PA in cans. One of my favorites! Recently they released their Oktoberfest lager in cans. With over 10 brews to try, you can't go wrong. Like many breweries, food trucks are your best option for accompanying your brews. There is a parking lot, but many times during the warmer seasons they have outdoor events with local bands. Parking on the street is easy.

Greg S.

Yelp
Nice brewery with good beer. Decent amount of seating both inside out although outside you are just sitting in a parking lot. Inside there are a bunch of tvs playing sports (on a Saturday afternoon it was college football). The bartender was friendly and gladly provided me with a few samples of beer before deciding on which 6 pack to take home. I tried the Pilsner, red lager, and the Oktoberfest marzen. All three were good with the marzen and Pilsner being my favorite while I thought the red lager had a bit too much alcohol content for my liking at 6 something percent but will give it another try. I went with the marzen this time and look forward to taking home the Pilsner next time as well as trying others. Great local brewery with good fresh beer if you live in the area.

Lucas E.

Yelp
Hip community brewery tucked into (what's become) the common former industrial space. Love how they tuck local lore & highlights into the beer names. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a cleverly named beer. The brews are pretty solid, nothing that is gonna sweep the GABF, but tasty and satisfying to be sure. Cool vibe. Limited tables inside, but outdoor options available as well. I will pop in anytime I'm around. Drink local!

Amit M.

Yelp
Hands down the best thing about this brewery is the beer: from Surrender Dorothy Rye PA, to Painted Branch Pilsner, to Redland Lager, three excellent offerings that have stood the test of time. It's also closer than a lot of people might think to the metro D.C. area. It has a decent indoor space with bars and spaced out seating, and some picnic benches outside. On weekends they have food trucks parked outside.

Mary Rose R.

Yelp
If you're in the Rockville area and looking for a chill brewery to hangout, stop by 7 locks. Tucked inside some warehouses you walk in this really cool brewery. As a local, you wouldn't expect a brewery like this right in your background. Very spacious and lots of seating. They have a variety of beer options. They also have huge tv screens too so if you just want to grab a beer and catch a game definitely stop by. Great, chill atmosphere.

Amanda V.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place as our local craft brewery. However, there's a few reasons it's just OK. 1. The beer is just OK. Nothing amazing. 2. The staff are just not that friendly and REALLY slow. The guy taking your order seems overwhelmed to grab two pours and ring you up..... the last craft brewery I was at in CA (Heretic) they were slammed and could grab 5 beers and your food order and ring you up in about 90secs... maybe have more people behind the bar to accommodate the lines or pick up the pace?? 3. The atmosphere is fine Nothing wows me about this place. It's just OK. I would love to have this be our local brew pub but with OK beer, less than friendly staff and a so-so atmosphere they haven't won me over yet.

Kenny K.

Yelp
I don't know how this place has escaped me for so long. What a cool fine it's an industrial part of Rockville off of Wilkins Avenue kind of a warehouse but it's got the best vibe - live music, food trucks, and oh yeah AMAZING beer. They let you bring food in or carry out from anywhere you want. So it's kind of a carry in establishment. I've been there several times now and probably what amazes me the most is that everybody there seems to love their job. I'm not talking about people who are polite and know how to be nice to you - they love being there. It's like they're proud to work there. What a joy.

Danny M.

Yelp
Fantastic brewery with great ambiance, indoor and outdoor seating, and a variety of stationary and rotating beers.

Scott A.

Yelp
Tonight was my first time here and let me tell you, it was a great experience! Not only are they dog friendly, they make you feel welcome. The staff is attentive and hospitable. I will be coming back 100%.

Tsega H.

Yelp
Came in on Sunday night where quite few people sitting in and outside of the establishment. It is self serving,Love our blonde beer. would have been staying for more pint if they served food but definitely back try more selections.

Tom E.

Yelp
Good scene friend service , pets are allowed noticed a few good selection of beers . Large enough space to be comfortable and quick service.

Johanna D.

Yelp
Cool place to hang out. Pre-pandemic, the indoor seating was a bit tight for larger parties but was still comfortable. Post-pandemic, they've expanded seating into the parking lot and provide hand sanitizer at the tables. There's one bar and a couple of TVs. They are dog friendly. Staff is super friendly and the brews are good. Since COVID, they've started delivering and it's awesome. You can order online and either pick-up or have it delivered to you! My favorites are the Paint Branch Pilsner and the Snakeden Saison.

Jason K.

Yelp
Great place and awesome staff!! Beer was good and not over priced. Nice swag as well.

Justin H.

Yelp
Late spring/early summer 2020 update: Despite saying I wouldn't be back, quarantine got the best of me. I took advantage of their delivery and pick-up options and I'm back to say they were well executed, and the beers tasted significantly better than they had previously. Whether that was the product of being deprived of decent beer and almost anything tasting good at that point, I do not know. Regardless, they've earned back a star for sticking with it and executing well through adversity. 2/22/220 Update: Really want to like this place, but the beer is just not good. I tasted three different beers this trip. They were all incredibly sweet, and, no, they weren't specialty oddball brews. I just asked to taste . This was my second time here. Don't think I'll be back. I had two different beers here and I didn't think they were that good. Nice building. Clean facilities. Responsive bartenders. Played a lot of heavy metal it seemed like. So that could be good or bad depending on your preferences. I'll be going back to see if I can find something I like better.

Esther W.

Yelp
Cool place to hang out, grab a few beers, and chill. I love getting the flights so I can try the different beers. There's board games on a shelf, corn hole, and a giant Connect Four. There's no kitchen, but you can bring your own food, get food delivered, or order food from the food truck that stops by. Water is self-served at the cooler next to the bar.

Joanna M.

Yelp
Fam, this place is special enough that I'm hesitant to write a review about it for fear that you're going to swarm the place. In the DC area, where lots of things can be incredibly competitive, the atmosphere here is incredibly relaxed, aided by the tasty selection of beer that's brewed on site. Depending on the day of the week you come, there might be live music, dogs, board games being played, ASL being spoken, sports games being watched and little kids running around--or some combination of those things. Grab a bag of chips and a flight to find your favorite brew (watch out for the Monkey Sour, it's like a slap in the face, in a good way). Just bear in mind that there's no kitchen on site, so if there isn't a food truck around you may need to order in pizza. Parking can be limited, but depending on the time of day you can use the lot across the street without issue. The bathrooms aren't amazing and there's always a line, so bring hand sanitizer. Also be prepared to make friends in your quest for seating! Mostly, just come prepared to hang out and drink some great beer. We even grabbed a t-shirt for my dad the last time we were there because the brew names are so great. Have fun!

Jessica C.

Yelp
A super casual and friendly brewery with a pretty great flight deal (5 small pours for $8). We ended up just getting multiple flights for fun and variety during our 2-3 hour visit. My personal favorite was the sour. The pumpkin beer was also pretty tasty and I'm not a big fan of pumpkin things (unless we're talking pumpkin bread or pie). We went on a Sunday which I have concluded is the best day to go - they allow pets in the brewery on Sundays! We saw so many cute dogs of varying sizes and one chill lizard. They have various types of seating, board games, lofty bag, friendly bartenders, two gender neutral bathrooms, and let you bring in outside food!

Meagan P.

Yelp
I visited 7 Locks to try their new Sour Monkey Bitch beer and was not disappointed. The beer was not too incredibly sour, but had the same crisp and refreshing taste. They had about 11 beers on tap and the bartenders went out of their way to explain the fermentation process of their stout after I expressed interest in it. Staff is evidently knowledgeable on the menu and enjoy interacting with guests. There is no AC in the building, so it can get pretty muggy inside. There is a food truck located outside that serves pizza and you are welcome to bring it inside while drinking.

Michael L.

Yelp
THE BIG: Awesome, dog friendly brewery in a huge space. Located right off of Wilkins Ave near (ish to) Pike and Rose. Around 14 selections for craft brews ranging from IPAs to light pilsners. They have a private parking lot along with tons of street parking. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here on a Sunday for you guess it Sunday FUNDAY! Parking was pretty crowded since other people probably had the same idea. Walking in, the place is enormous. You can see the giant steel drums where they brew their beer and the bar is immediately to your right. Beer selection is vast for a craft brewery. I think it had around 14 selections. They have a flight option for $8 where you can sample 5 beers on tap with exception of the barrel aged birthday (~12% abv). Of course I got the flight and by far the winner was the nitro ale. It was smooth and refreshing. A close second would be the red lady ale. You're allowed to bring your own pets and food since they don't serve food and I immediately thought this would be a great place to throw a party. Lo behold, when drinking my beer a party crew came in and posted up with tons of birthday paraphernalia. There are also board games and corn hole if you want to socialize and be competitive at the same time. The giant jenga is in a small office room near the entrance but the other board games can be brought out to your table. Bathrooms are gender neutral which is always a plus #EqualWaitForAll THE FINAL BAMBOO: I spent around $45 including tip with the flight and buying rounds of beers for my friends. It was an awesome ambience and I definitely say try the nitro beer if you get the chance.

Nice local brewery that is pretty laid back. We had a flight of beer and were able to choose from a good selection. They don't serve food, but you can bring your own or they have menus available for nearby spots that deliver. They have board games and corn hole too. The place does have a bar with two screens, so not too shabby to watch the game either.

Yelp
This brewery is located along a row of warehouses like most east coast breweries. Wet spacious with a friendly chill atmosphere. Numerous wooden park benches and tables allow for comfortable seating. There's also food trucks outside and often live music. Great to hangout, chill, eat pizza and knock down a few brews. They service multiple beer styles and aim to please everyone. There's nothing complicated or overpowering about any of the beers making this a great gateway brewery for those interested but haven't taken a full plunge into hop heaven. I wasn't overly impressed by these beers but I wasn't offended by anything. It takes a good imperial coffee stout or double dry hopped New England IIPA to impress me. Anyways this is a great spot to hangout and bring muggles but if your a giant beer geek you might want a magical brew- you might not find that here Atmosphere: 5/5 Food/drink: 3/5 Price: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall 4/5

Yelp
So glad I found this place! My guy loves beer so I brought him here on a Friday night. I read the reviews prior to my visit so I came prepared with some pizza to pair with our drinks. I had the Honey Ale (LOVED it!) and he had a flight of 5 (can't recall all the names but he enjoyed them all). This is such a chill brewery. It's a mix between kicking back in your living room with a beer and dive bar - but don't get me wrong, I mean that in the sense that it's super laid back and just an all around good time. No food offerings but it seems they usually have food trucks in the parking lot, or you can bring your own. Beers were great and fairly priced (my total from above was less than 15). Plenty of board games and a few TVs as well as a large projector to keep you entertained. Will definitely be back.
