Google
Nice little desert place in East Village. Friend wanted to try the Baby Bear so dropped by and ordered some other stuff as well. We found seating right away but some patrons were waiting to be seated, so wanted to finish quick and give others a chance to get a table as well. Baby Bear is a nice desert with a jam like core. It looks better than it tastes, but my friend fell in love with it so hard to tell how someone else might like it. Being a cheesecake guy, ordered a slice and Latte. Kudos to the barista for serving one the best lattes I've had in a while. Creamy, smooth and served in a giant cup with perfect Latte art, this was indeed a hug in a cup. Thanks for making my day. Cheesecake was soft and fluffy with the right amount of sugar. Not a big fan of too much sugary deserts, the slice went well with the coffee. One thing that strikes you is the overall presentation with everything served in beautiful cutlery and that alone is a big reason we are sure to visit again.

Google
Nice Asian bakery and good lattes. Some of their cakes are really adorable 😍, like their mousse bears. I didn't try it, so I can't talk about it's taste, but it is so pretty! I got a latte ($4.50) and a strawberry cake ($7) Limited seating. Both were great, I liked that the strawberry cake was light and not overly sweet.☕ 🍓🍰 Service was good, restroom clean, limited seating both indoors and outdoors.

Google
A small quaint place with adorable-looking desserts. As cute the Ube Bear was it didn’t taste like ube or anything in fact. It was soft and spongy though. The yuzu cheesecake was good, some citrus flavor. The seal tasted like a regular pudding. The berry sauce that came with it was too artificially sweet. Too milky foamy cappuccino. This is the type of place where you pay more for the experience than the taste.

I walked in here about 5pm on a Saturday evening. I wanted to try the seal and baby bear however they were out of seals , so I tried the baby bear. The cafe has a good vibe to it . The baby bear is extremely cute but honestly I dint love the flavour of the custard filling. It seemed hard and not flowy and the texture dint work for me personally.

Google
A cozy and pleasant place to go where to drink a coffee and have a unique dessert. I love their way to make you comfortable and welcome. The place is small but you can have your privacy and also can do some laptop work if needed. The bathroom is super curated which is something I always look into the places. I definitely recommend to go!

Google
Delicious pastries in a very cozy space. They have a focus on ube, so expect a lot of purple. We got a chocolate chip butter cookie, which was one of the best cookies we've ever had. We also got a croissant, which was excellent.

Google
We had the ube bear and strawberry cake. Both so well made, light and not too sweet. The ube bear is just super cute. Very warm and friendly service.

Google
Cute cafe! The mousse bears are what lured us in since it's so adorable, but you've really got to enjoy mousse to like this dessert. The basque cheesecake is sure to be a crowdpleaser! The yuzu flavor was not really noticeable, but the cheesecake was smooth and creamy, but very light and airy.

Yelp
Smaller cafe with three tables (fits 4 people) and a couple of bar seats. My friend and I stopped by this past Friday afternoon and a lot of their pastries were out already. We decided to share a couple options while catching up. UBE MOUSSE BEAR - 12 This bear is so cute and precious. I felt really bad eating it, but my savage friend went straight for its face. The mousse was very smooth but the ube flavor was very muted and nonexistent. There wasn't much flavor to it and we weren't impressed. Cute bear, but didn't taste amazing. Just creamy mousse texture with nothing to show for. CLASSIC YUZU BASQUE CHEESECAKE - 12 My friend and I enjoyed this cheesecake a lot more than the mousse. It was creamy and not too heavy nor too sweet. I didn't really get much of the yuzu flavor, though. Overall, seems like the flavors here are lacking. Cute place with unique options.

Yelp
I know this place is really viral and also a cute dessert spot with really cute desserts. But I don't know, it didn't hit me in the same way it has for others. I got the yuzu cheesecake and their canneles which were both not mindblowingly good. First of all, the Basque cheesecake didn't have the burnt caramelized taste it should have - it just merely tasted flatly sweet. Second, the canneles, it's pretty good but it also tasted flat like it was sadly displayed for some time. I wanted to try their bear cake dessert but it's unjustifiably pricy. I know it's for the effort behind making it, but I think seeing it is enough for me, if the other 2 desserts I got that should generally taste good/can't really mess up on was ok. Service here is very friendly so it's a cute cafe to hit if you're in the area. But I wouldn't be wowed by their dessert.

Julia H.

Yelp
Came for the picturesque bear and it really was so cute! It was definitely more of a photo-op though, as I didnt end up eating too much of it. The shop is small but good for getting work done, easy to focus and grind it out. I was also a big fan of my iced coffee! Overall good drinks and vibes but perhaps not the most amazing tasting dessert.

Hui L.

Yelp
Got a lemon macaron to go and I love that it's packaged in a small box which makes it portable! There were also tables for people to work from their laptops here. It gave "cozy cafe" vibes with how small the inside of the shop is and the decorations. It was a very buttery macaron but I wish the lemon flavor was stronger because I love my lemon flavored desserts!

Frank G.

Yelp
Loved this gem of a coffee house find! The mocha was delicious and the staff were friendly. Seating is a bit tight, but very comfortable seats, and the ambiance was just right for a good read! My wife and I will be back!

Carmen W.

Yelp
A cafe with an interesting array of desserts ranging from cute to fusion such as yuzu basque or their cute teddy bear. I had the yuzu basque burnt cheesecake and it was light with a delicious crust. We also ordered a cappuccino dusted with cocoa powder which came out surprisingly in a large mug given that it was a cappuccino. Great little workspace if it's not busy with one large wooden table, one smaller table, and a side table. Friendly staff and great asian inspired desserts. Can't wait to try other desserts that they have!

Anthony P.

Yelp
Came here because I heard about the cute little bear desserts but I was kind of disappointed by its flavor. The texture is more solid than you would think for mousse and kind of like a very firm terra-cotta that doesn't quite jiggle. It doesn't really matter in your mouth and the gelatinous fruit filling was chewy and not all that enjoyable. The Yuzu basque cheesecake was actually the highlight but there's definitely better Basque cheesecake out there. Overall, nothing was too sweet, so it gets that Asian stamp of approval. With so many great dessert, options though I don't see myself returning here, unfortunately.

Josephine L.

Yelp
The desserts are cute. They're very Instagrammable. I can only imagine that's why they don't actually taste that good. All effort put on appearances. The mascarpone Seal was decent, but the Ube Baby Bear was literally frozen on the inside. Like eating semi-thawed cheesecake. And the Matcha Canele? Pea-colored cardboard. +1 for super friendly service.

Gregory C.

Yelp
I had seen something online regarding a dessert cafe in the East Village area. It was on my list to visit as I definitely love my desserts but I had gotten busy. Then recently this same cafe came up in a random conversation as if fate was reminding that I had to visit this place as soon as possible. It had to have been one of the hottest days in NYC that particular of my visit. In addition the desserts, I was also interested in see what drink options they had since it was a cafe. Admittedly I almost walked past the place initially because I was in a hurry to get there. The interior has a very chill vibe to it. As you walk in, the are seat along the right side and along the left wall you see the coffee menu and daily/week or seasonal drink speaks. Also along the wall you can see their "story" that explains their purpose and motivation. I am not sure if anyone takes time to read something like that so I feel it is worth mentioning here.... "We know that 75 degrees is always that perfect temperature in everything. From comfort in the environment to melting butter. We believe that in every dessert is a gift made from passion and love that tells a meaningful story. That's what we stand for. That's what we give. When life is bitter, a simple cake of sweetness is what we look for. With natural ingredients, we provide you a light treat." Business minded people would consider that a mission statement but for customers it means something more. But after speaking with manager, I can see they are very focused in their purpose. But more on that later. The sit in area is very quaint with approximately 8 comfortable seats (two very sturdy wooden tables each with a convenient table top power supply for phone or laptop charging. The area where you make your order has a very prominent display case with the daily and and seasonal specials. I really could not decide. The staff is quite friendly and welcoming. They greet you as you enter (provided they are not busy with another customer). On my visit, it was a gentleman name Christoph and a young lady named Jade behind the counter. Since I could not decide, Jade was kind enough to suggest a few things and Christoph let me know what was popular (besides the ube bear that I was so glad they did not sell out of that day). For the desserts, I ended up ordering: --Ube Mousse Bear- this was what caught my attention about this cafe in the first place and while I stayed undecided some people came in to order it to go. There were only a few left in the display case so I had to act fast. Very photo worth and a very nice dessert overall. They use Japanese ube for their purple bear and there was a cream filling inside when I cut open the bear. --Strawberry Short Cake- one of the classic well known desserts that most certainly need to be ordered if you see it on display. Jade explained how the cream house made and of course the strawberries were fresh. They label this as "King of the cake" and as described it is certainly light and fluffy light a pillow topped with the delicious cream. --Black Sesame Basque Burnt Cheesecake- I chose this as black sesame is a quintessential Asian flavor that I was happy to see get some exposure. The black sesame flavor was very distinct and a hint of yuzu. Now for the drinks, I was a bit overwhelmed with the choices but I was certain I wanted something cold. Luckily Jade was there to guide me. I ended up ordering: --Ice Cappuccino with oat milk and topped with Belgium chocolate- they asked me what type of milk I preferred and I was thankful for that. Coffee lovers will definitely fancy this drink. The Belgium chocolate was a very nice touch that I was not expecting. --Soul Mate is their version of the red bean and matcha latte. They use premium Japanese matcha that is hand whisked. This is a very popular and classic combo for desserts and drinks. The name catches your attention. If you ask nicely, Jade will explain how hey came up with the name. Lemon Infused Black Ice Tea- now this is the drink I gulped down first after bearing the NYC heatwave. Very refreshing. Now I must have looked like a lunatic with all those desserts and drinks at the table. Since I did not know when I would be able to return, I had to get as much as I could. Anything that I was not able to finish Christoph was kind enough to help pack to go for me. They accept cash and card for payments. Later on, I come to find that Jade is one of the owners of the establishment. She very professional, polite and friendly. Her regular customers I noticed definitely appreciate her when they come in to order. If you are observant you will notice she has a nice smile as well. She is definitely very passionate about her business and it was interesting to hear how she and her partner Jojo (talented and friendly Executive Pastry Chef) came up with the concept for 75 degrees. Also props to Aaron for helping craft the pastries.

Lila L.

Yelp
Small cute cafe. Ordered the Soufflé cheesecake and Ube Basque cheesecake. The Soufflé cheesecake could have used more cheese & a tad more sugar, it just tasted like plain spongecake with cheesecake texture. I'm a big fan of Asian desserts since it's not as sweet but this cheesecake was just not hitting the spot. The Ube Basque cheesecake was perfect, I could definitely taste the rich ube flavor, would recommend.

Karen S.

Yelp
Stopped by with some friends to check out this cute cafe! They do have some seating inside, but it was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon so we took our desserts to go and stood at their outside table. It was a little hot, so plan accordingly. Got to try their ube mousse bear cake, marscarpone seal mousse, and their souffle cheesecake! The ube mousse and bear cake are a little bit pricy, but definitely IG worthy. Imo, the ube bear cake didn't have a strong flavor, and I'd probably opt for something else. The mascarpone seal cake was my favorite by far. The light yogurty flavor paired amazingly with the mango filling, and was much sweeter than the ube cake. All the desserts are very light and aren't too sweet in general though.

Natalie V.

Yelp
Super cute little cafe with light and tasty desserts. Small but cozy space, staff was quick and kind. We got the soufflé cheesecake and strawberry shortcake - both delicious but nothing heavy. Glad we stopped in.

Ashley C.

Yelp
The baked goods and lattes are excellent and very cute to boot! I only wished the layout of this cafe wasn't so odd and that they had more seating!

Cindy C.

Yelp
The spiced hot cider was lacking. The interior is shabby chic, the baked goods looked cute, and it has a good location. But not sure I'll be making my way back.

Briana N.

Yelp
A really cute, but also really small cafe. All of the desserts looked so cute, I wish I could have tried all of them. I ended up getting the ube Basque cheesecake, which was very delicious. The tube flavor was strong and the cake itself was super creamy. We also got the apple berry iced tea, which although was very refreshing, it tasted more like very watered down apple pie water. It wasn't necessarily bad, and you can add extra syrup on your own, but it just wasn't what we were expecting.

Jamie Y.

Yelp
A small but mighty shop perfect for working on your laptop. They have a bathroom, plenty of outlets, wifi, and seating. The menu offers plenty of beverages, sandwiches and sweet options including their well known baby bear mousse, coffee, ube latte, cake, macarons, and more. The space hosts three 4-person tables and two higher stool seats, for a total of 14-16 seats in the entire space. All three tables were occupied when I came on a Monday, but customers seem to come and go quickly enough for me to snag a table within 10 min. I ordered an ube latte and the baby bear mousse, both of which fell flat for me. The baby bear had too strong of a cheese flavor and had texture reminiscent of jello instead of a creamier mousse. I presume they used a ton of gelatin to preserve the bear shape. And the ube latte was overpoweringly sweet. Their fruit cake looked good, so maybe I'll try that next time I go instead! If you're looking for a work from cafe location, this place is perfect!

Karen S.

Yelp
Cute cafe in the heart of lower east side. Interior decor clean and modern fully equipped with charging stations which I absolutely love! It means they encourage folks to stay as a working cafe. Came by for some dessert after dinner and got the seal mousse and cheesecake. The seal mousse was ok. Very light in citrus flavor and mango interior. Nothing amazing but was super cute. (honestly just for the gram). The cheesecake was not the best, a bit bland, dense and not sweet at all (I crave something sweeter and creamier for my cheesecakes!) While I don't frequent Lower East side often, I'll come back for the laid back vibes. 4 stars starting but docked a star for price- the mousse itself was $12... a bit on the pricy side.

April L.

Yelp
Woowwww the staff were so nice to us even though we must have stayed at least 15 minutes past closing time. The space is actually pretty small but I appreciated the large table seating instead of small tables like other cafes. Our group were looking for a sit down coffee place after dinner Saturday night and this cafe was 2 blocks away. Upon entering, the tables had giant outlet chargeable stations and they work SO WELL too. It's fast charging not the cheap slow charging ones. Green tea 5/5 their cups are so big and it's the good kind of green tea! Strawberry cake 5/5 Creme brulee 5/5 super smooth cold mouse like and the top part was nice and hot Chocolate lava cake 5/5 you can never go wrong with hot chocolate lava cake with cold ice cream - especially when fresh strawberries are added on the side Also the staff heard us our teas were too hot, they gave us a cup of ice to cool them down. They were so nice and accommodating. If I ever come back to the lower east side, this place has some REALLY cute desserts and spacious table space for working with my laptop. I would love to come back.

Judy L.

Yelp
Cute little cafe in east village, serving coffee and desserts. Friend the little bear dessert. Gelatin like mousse Ube dessert, not overly sweet. Adorable for the novelty of the shape but not sure something I'll wanna order again. Think we paid $12? For one. Also tried Canele, which was not crusty outside but not bad. The cafe had few seatings; some people had notebooks out and using as work-space. there were only like 2 tables inside; would be better for the guests and the owner that those space be used for quick bites, for more quick turnover. Would love to visit again and try other items.

Yelp
Possible new favorite cafe for working! It may be small, but it was one of my favorite cafes to sit at and do some work. I went during a weekday, and it may be more crowded on the weekends. Not only do they have wifi and a restroom for customers, but they have amazing little charger poles on their tables, including USB slots, making it a great place to rest and recharge (literally!!). They specialize in a lot of relatively unique desserts, such as a sleeping teddy bear mousse (which, as tempting as it sounded, was small-ish and $12), oolong creme brulee, or matcha tiramisu (pictured -- probably the most substantive dessert they had at the moment). The matcha tiramisu at first bite was unimpressive, but after a few spoonfuls in, it became delightfully *moist* and the matcha flavor really came through. I also had a London Fog made with the "blue flower" Earl Grey, which was very fragrant and smooth, and still provided a strong caffeine kick. All in all, this was a good experience, I don't know what it will look like during busier times though, but I'll definitely be back. Really looking forward to trying the $5 egg sando too!

Jackie H.

Yelp
Came for the mousse bears as most of the other patrons did. Got my pics, but the taste was average. Ube bear was better than the larger mama bear. 25 for a small bear that's mostly hard cream doesn't seem like the best deal, but hey it was cute. I should've taken a pic of the iced cappuccino I ordered but was embarrassed bc it was literally 70ish% full compared to my friend's nicer drink (and other patrons' drinks) and had messy lumpy powder dumped on the top. Sorta weird...My friend said it looks like it was partially drank by another customer bc the presentation was so horrid. But it was brought over by the worker himself so it couldn't have been. Pros: Bears are cute. The matcha latte unlike the other coffee drinks was neatly made, pretty, and tasted good. They do have nice outlets if you want to bring your laptop or charge your phone. There's also a bathroom.

Amy L.

Yelp
I had the matcha cheesecake and it tasted ok! There was nothing special about it. I have a friend who has tried other items on the menu that supposedly taste more unique, but I thought the matcha cheesecake was average.

Dorothy Y.

Yelp
My mom stumbled across this place and bought a bunch of items two weeks ago. I'm not impressed by the aesthetics over taste approach. The flavors are mostly more homey than commercial ready. The additional "errors" make me not want to come again. Peach jelly The lightness of the flavors make me believe they didn't add flavoring. The problem is how rough the texture is. It must be the peach fibres. The cream/milk side is too tough and tasteless. I don't want to eat either side let alone together. Matcha pudding I don't need the glitter dust. The top layer of matcha is stronger and I'm satisfied but I can't stand the texture below it. It's just as tough as the peach jelly's milk side's texture. The texture distracts from everything. Cheesecake There's an interesting ginger and egginess to this. It's a bit too dry and dense for my liking. Interesting though. Again i don't need the sparkles. Fortune bag It was a disappointment. It's a thick cake base with strawberry cream and strawberries all wrapped in a red crepe. The cake base and crepe combination was too heavy. Since the crepe didn't have any strong flavor, I'll assume it was colored with food coloring - not a fan. The twine outside obstructed me from eating it. There's a little tube inside that contains a message like fortune cookies. The extra packaging and plastic wrapping around the tube and the pixelated printed message all make this addition useless and unappealing. The strawberry cream here tastes better than the shortcake. Berry shortcake It doesn't look exciting but probably the best item of the night. The cake, cream, and fruit are all fresh. The cream isn't as milky and premium as I'd like. There's mixed berries inside. The simplicity of the exterior cream design means they need to do a better job of perfecting the edges. Chocolate chip cookie The chips are better than expected, dark. The cookie texture is interestingly airy and fluffy to the point there's not much substance. I'm glad it didn't turn hard when eating the other half the next day. Also I don't necessarily like the individual plastic casings for each cake. It's only convenient if you're buying that one cake. It's useless if you're buying more. I'd rather they have the plastic cases as a packaging option rather than standard for all. Also the case can easily accidentally ruin the cake when you're taking it in and out because the sides can flip back. According to some stalking, one of the owners seem to work at or supply to or also own Sushi Lab's desserts. That makes me not want to try Sushi Lab desserts. Apparently it newly opened in November. I wouldn't associate the issues here with the store just opening but they definitely have things to improve on.

Albert K.

Yelp
- Good cold brew - not super strong punch, but good taste to it - Matcha latte - super delicious - Seating for 12 inside with power plugs The front is a bit confusing since you pay on the left, so a few people cut while thinking that we had already ordered. Just a tip!

Jungwon S.

Yelp
I ordered a custom cake for my mom's birthday a couple days ago and picked it up today. I got 6-inch ube-flavored cake with an addition of sleeping baby bear, a birthday sign, and blueberries. They were nice enough to put a couple of butterflies that went very well with the overall color scheme. It was so cute that my mom didn't want to ruin the cake so we started eating from the back. The cake tasted good too. It was not too sweet and the sponge soft and fluffy. Based on pure taste, I liked their yuzu basque cheesecake more. Nonetheless the service was excellent, and the cake made my mom's birthday extra special, so I'm not complaining.

Ada Y.

Yelp
During my visit to 75 Degrees Cafe & Dessert, I discovered the famous jelly seals and moose bears that I had seen on social media. I tried their ube cheesecake and jelly seals and enjoyed them both. They also offer other ube options, such as an ube latte. The cafe itself is a small and charming space, and the service was excellent. Fortunately, I was able to secure a table at the cafe and the ambiance was quiet and relaxing.

Dakota T.

Yelp
I was unfortunately pretty disappointed by this place, I got the ube mousse baby bear and it ended up being more like jello than mousse. For such an expensive pastry I expected it to be higher quality. I also got the black sesame basque cheesecake and that was alright but lacked blacked sesame flavor.

Giacomo C.

Yelp
I came here for their yuzu basque cheesecake and wasn't disappointed. Light yet decadent... really a great creation! Not many seats, but you should be able to find one. It's $8 per slice (!), so savor every bite.

Yvonne L.

Yelp

Maggie C.

Yelp
I love a good bakery and was looking forward to getting a birthday cake here :) since they ran out of whole-sized cakes, I had to get the chiffon cakes in slices and they were able to piece them up together so beautifully. Moreover, the flavor and quality of the cake was great and fresh, the sweetness wasn't overpowering, and the cake itself was very moist and fluffy lol. Got lotta compliments :) Highly recommend!

Bryson L.

Yelp
Came here for the Yuzu Basque Cheesecake, it was good, but nothing that I would say is super memorable for me personally. It was a solid cheesecake and if you're into this style, this is probably a good spot to get it from. The interior of this place is nice but small. Seating seems to be taken up by folks working throughout the day, we ended up having to sit outside. Overall, cool cafe though with some decent desserts.

Julie Ying X.

Yelp
I came here for dessert after lunch with a friend on a Friday since I was in the area. All their desserts were very cute so it was hard to decide. We ordered the adorable bear dessert (ube mousse with cheesecake center) and the yuzu basque cheesecake slice. The bear was too cute to eat and I felt bad to decapitate its head but there's no other way to eat it haha. The texture of the ube mousse was a bit on the thick side but I liked the cheesecake center. The yuzu basque cheesecake had a light yuzu flavor and wasn't too dense. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would come back and try other desserts if I'm in the area.

Jacky C.

Yelp
You know that IG post on people's foodgram with the dessert in the shape of a baby bear sleeping? And then they savagely guillotine its head off. Well this is the spot to get one of those for $15 called the Mousse Baby Bear. They are made from mascarpone, yogurt and freshly squeezed lemon juice with chiffon cake inside. If that appeals to you beside the fancy IG posts, then come on by!

Jenny C.

Yelp
Cute little pastry and cake shop! I received the cutest little bear from here as I believe it's their purple baby bear. It's 12 dollars which is mighty hefty for a cake with not too much flavor. It's definitely super cute to look at and all their other cakes are so cute it makes you want to buy everything in the store.

Steph S.

Yelp
So yummy! Come for the dessert but stay for the egg salad sandwich. We honestly had little expectation for the pre-packaged sammies but we were hungry and it was the only savory thing they had, and I kid you not it was the best egg salad sandwich I've ever had. It was unique with bell peppers and perfectly soft bread. For dessert we got the vanilla canela (delish) and the soufflé (lighter than we expected and a tad less flavorful than anticipated, but we ended up asking for some sauce and the lady was so kind in specially making us some chocolate sauce which totally made the dish in our opinion)! Will definitely be back for the egg salad sandwich and chai!

Elsie W.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong, the desserts here were good, but not amazing. The staff was nice and friendly too! I really wanted to love this place, but the cakes were too small for the prices. Came here for the bear but it was so tiny for $12!

Nick B.

Yelp
A great small cozy place to come get dessert. The dessert was light and flavorful and the presentation was cute lol. I would recommend anyone to visit this place if they are around the area.

Sylvia C.

Yelp
75 Degree Cafe introduces a sort of je ne sais quoi to artisanal cafe in East Village. Think "just right sweetness" asian pastries, with a twist. You know the kawaii seal and/or bear that you've been seeing all over the gram? Find it here! What we ordered: Yuzu Mascarpone Mama Bear Cake. This had a cheesecake filling but it wasn't overly cheesy. It was cute and jiggly. Strawberry Shortcake was a soft and safe option. Sesame Bisque Cheesecake. It's hard to find a good bisque cake and it's even harder to find one that's sesame flavored! If you're a sesame fan, I highly recommend this one because the flavor really comes through! Matcha Red Bean Latte with oat milk. The beans were cooked perfectly and added a lovely level of texture to the matcha drink. Highly recommend this! Overall, a great place to catch up on some work while getting healthier dessert options. Keep in mind that the cafe is quite small and can only hold about 8 people inside but the 2 communal tables (4 seats each) do offer a ton of outlets for your electronics!

Yelp
Walking into 75 Degrees Cafe feels like walking into a 75 degree day in LA, with nowhere to go and noone to be. This place is a little slice of California community in the middle of the feels-like-8-degree east village climate. I've been looking for a neighborhood spot that would work for chilled out gossip hangs and lazy book clubs with no time limit. The community feel of this little cafe makes me think I may have found *the one*. With incredible teas and delicious egg sandwiches as well?! Wow. I would have genuinely just come here for the cozy chill vibes! That seasonal red zen tea though. It's even cozier. The owners are super sweet! I want to be their friend! Maybe if I buy enough egg sandos I'll win them over!

Yelp
If you care more about aesthetics than taste, this cafe fits the bill. Me and my friend order the cute bear mousse cake ($15), a slice of Yuzu Basque cheesecake ($9), 1 hot Jasmine Pearl Green Tea, and 1 hot Blue Flower Earl Grey Black Tea to dine-in. First thing, there was no big issue with the taste of the desserts but it is overpriced in my opinion. The mousse cake was more like 90% tarty mousse cream and 10% cake, wish there was more of a balance between mousse and cake. I didn't taste the Yuzu, but it was a decent slice of cheesecake and I actually enjoyed that more than the mousse cake. The hot tea was a great pair with the cakes. We actually requested to add milk in my black tea but it ended up in the green tea. The workers were kind to promptly add milk in the black tea after we pointed this out and even asked if we would like a new green tea. Such great service! The staff also kindly checked in with us throughout and we had a great time just chilling there. There are not many chairs/tables so it is more of an order-to-go place than for dining in. Note: There's a restroom near the cashier and napkins etc are across from the cashier too.

Yelp
I stopped in on a warm and muggy Friday evening and devoured a slice of the black sesame basque cheesecake and yuzu basque cheesecake. The cafe had the air conditioner on at a good temperature to compensate for the humidity outside. They have a clean bathroom too. The server was attentive and kind.

Yelp
Love this bakery, the staff is so friendly, warm & inviting. I've been visiting from last year, and tried their seasonal desserts, like pumpkin cheesecake and just recently strawberry shortcake which is so delicious! The sleeping purple bear is so cute, I feel so sad eating it lol but it's so yummy.

Yelp
I've been seeing their bear and seal mousses on tiktok and have been wanting to try them! I got the seal mousse, and thought it was pretty ok. It was quite gelatinous, but considering the structure of the pastry and how it's meant to jiggle, I do understand why they made the decision. I do wish the focus on taste were a bit more matched to the cuteness of the treat, but to be fair, did think the other desserts looked like they would taste better. Would like the come back some other time for the basque cheesecake!

Yelp
A bit expensive, but the cake tasted good. I expected more delicious whipped cream--not sure about the second visit.

Yelp
Great staff - the lady at the front was very helpful and nice We ordered - Yuzu Basque Cheesecake Slice - our favorite. Have a light yuzu flavor. - Ube sponge cake slice - flavor was ok (the ube does not come off strong) and it's a bit dry (it was also the last piece so maybe that's why) - Ices Golden Green Tea - was told this flavor would be bold but it's pretty light with a light floral taste. The lady did ask if I want a replacement but I was already full at that point - Hot Jasmine Pearls Green Tea - my friend had this one and she thinks it was just ok

Yelp
I had the 4" mocha cake in a small container. For $10 is way overpriced for the quality. It's no difference than the cake roll at Asian bakeries. Not worth it.

Yelp
Ube bear cake was overpriced and not worth it! The smaller one was ~$12 and the slightly larger mama bear was $25. I saw it on tiktok and wanted to see what the hype was about. I was disappointed, the cake tasted like it was made awhile ago and just sitting. The texture was hard and the inner filling resembled a cream cheese. I'm glad I tried it out but I wouldn't purchase it again. The cafe was cute though.

Yelp
I've been passing by this spot so many times and I just had to stop in! I asked for their most popular pastries and the owner said the strawberry shortcake and the yuzu basque cheesecake. Both were really great but I preferred the cheesecake. The Yuzu flavor wasn't that strong, I thought it would be a punch but instead it was a subtle aftertaste, which I actually really enjoyed, and would get again. The shortcake was also good, it was very light and cool and I think it would make a great summer treat!

Yelp
Great and nicely decorated cafe in East Village. We had the strawberry shortcake which was really light and fluffy. Strawberries were fresh. Also tried the matcha with red bean drink and that was awesome! They let us use our reusable cup and were so friendly about it. Drink was perfect and matcha had a great strong flavor! Wish they had more outdoor seating! Will definitely be back!
