Super cute place on Melrose . Placed an order to go for lunch from here on 12/17/24. The lady that helped me was so kind and good vibes. I ordered hot wings and a strawberry Fanta. The best hot wings ever, the wings are delicious with a kick of spice, & the fries are perfectly seasoned . The team there is very nice.

This burger spot in what used to be NuMoo and before that a Johnny Rockets is unfortunately quite disappointing, with outdoor seating only it left a lot to be desired. The burgers were mediocre, there was an unknown flavor to the burger bun and while the fries were seasoned, they were cold and stale. On top of everything it took over 40 minutes to get the food. Maybe the OG location's better, but this feels like growing pains that should've been figured out before they opened a second location

Marathon Burger is a decent spot to grab a burger on Melrose. They moved into the space that used to be Nomoo. They utilize the outdoor patio for dining instead of the interior, so keep the weather in mind if you plan on eating onsite. The restaurant also provided music to help keep the vibe easygoing. The service was friendly and attentive. You can tell they're working hard to provide a good experience. I ordered the Marathon Burger combo meal, and the food came out pretty quickly. The burger is best described as an upscale version of a McDonald's cheeseburger despite including Fresno peppers and a secret sauce. It's undoubtedly better quality than the Golden Arches, but the combination of American cheese with ketchup and mustard brought me back to that distinct taste from my childhood. While the burger was pretty good, I didn't feel the same about the fries. They're shoestring-style, which is excellent, but some were soggy, and some were crisp. What threw me off about them was the seasoning. There was way too much, and it wasn't clear what taste they wanted. The next time I go, I'll see if they can just salt them and hope for a better experience. Overall, I had a decent meal. However, it wasn't worth the $20 price tag. In-N-Out and Shake Shack are better and cost less. And other local chains that are at a similar price provide a better quality meal. However, stop by Marathon if you're hanging out on Melrose and feeling a burger.

As you all must know already this is NIPSEY HUSSLE'S BROTHERS BURGER SPOT in reminence of NIPSEYS STORE -THE MARATHON STORE- in which they created a food spot similar to CRENSHAW VIBES! So if you ever ate in the hood you'd understand the concept! The branding! The reason why this place is on melrose! Which is to continue on with the good vibes NIPSEY left the world! I think the location was good because Melrose is a place for hip hop fashionistas and the marathon brand is all about hip hop culture! The food is tasty and I believe in the brand! Try them out!

Food was very good service was friendly and helpful ambiance was good but it's still new and the inside wasn't open yet. Will be a great look for the city when it's completely open!!! The Marathon won't stop!!! RIP NIP!!!

Great location w/ awesome vibes. The entire staff were/are phenomenal workers making sure we enjoy our visit here. The cashier is always pleasant, and very attentive to your order requests. Always great customer service! Now let me get to my order of the 20 dollar Smash Burger combo. Them truffle fries fire! I highly Recommend slapping a few fries inside the burger; instantly get a rush of subtle flavor and deliciousness! The burger alone is a hit; just get wild with it sometime, respectfully. One of the best burger joints in town. Definitely worth a visit if/when you're in the area. Much love and respect

Super good burger spot on melrose. We ordered the marathon burger and the hot wings and they were both very good. The hot buffalo sauce was pretty spicy but very flavorful and the lemon pepper was an actual sauce which was pretty good! The wings were also the right amount of crispy. The burger was also very good, I loved the chopped Fresno chilis inside the burger. The service was also pretty quick and there was a good amount of seating outside.

The vegan burger is so delicious! I absolutely love that the patty is actually plant based with ingredients i love... potatoes and wild rice! The fries are delicious too

Burger isn't good at all. Very low quality burger. The wings are very small and again not good quality. I would not recommend this burger at all. The ambiance is average. The service is low. Wait is long.

Really delicious and nice staff. Just have a hard time paying $20 for a burger+fries at this kind of place. Will come back when I wanna treat myself.

I love Marathon Burger!!! When it first opened on Melrose, I took two buses to try it and it did not disappoint!!! As a vegan, I appreciate their creativity with the vegan options by using real whole foods and not impossible meat or beyond burgers. The mushroom burger is so flavorful, it was so good I doubled up & got a second one for the ride home! I'm excited to try the house made veggie patty next and the grilled veggie salad! The fries were fresh and seasoned! I got the Arnold Palmer (ice tea/lemonade mix). Love the outside seating and overall ambiance of the spot. The quality of the packaging is good, no greasy bags. All the little details are there! The service was great and very attentive! Great price for the full meal too! Marathon Burger on Melrose is a great continuation and addition to the overall Marathon Brand! #LLNH

Fireeeee that's All I have to sayyyyyy definitely get the signature burger honestly I've tried everything and it's all amazing

1st off food was GOOD!!!!! 2nd off service was outstanding!!! 3rd off our food came quick and we ordered a lot! Special sauce on burgers was divine, and the fries are chefs kiss!! We will be returning, the ambiance is beautiful patio seating so dress accordingly

Very mediocre burger and fries. Popcorn shrimp was embarrassingly bad. Avoid this place. It's one of those "we fry anything and everything you can fry" joints. They must use the same oil to fry everything because everything tasted pretty much the same. And for the quality of food you get, the prices were far too high.
