What another great location for Sticky Rice Restaurant! Had the opportunity to try their new location here in Beverly Grove and what a treat! The minute you step in, it's a lil' corner of Thailand right here in LA! Large Bar top area for food and drinks to be served and a simple yet charming table set up to escape to a world of flavor. The food was incredible as we had tried the Pad Thai with chicken and Tom Yom. Noodles in the pad Thai was loaded with flavor and greens! The soup was rich and full and plenty of protein such as shrimp and other goods! We tried the location at the farmers market and it's just as delicious as we remembered! The cherry on top? This location we visited today in Beverly Grove had authentic and retro movie posters in homage to the cinematic history that LA is know for! What a blast from the past! Thank you Toyah for your warmth and kindness from the moment we walked in. Really enjoyed our conversation of our favorite line of movies and trivia, can't wait to come back and support this new location!

Really really delicious. Everything was super fresh and perfectly balanced. Good portions. Juicy chicken satay and rich curries. This may be my new favorite Thai spot! Delivery was fast and everything was hot. Highly recommend.

I decided to have Thai food and arrived at a new restaurant I had never been to before. I really liked the interior, but the service was lacking. We were seated in the back, and there was only one person managing the bar, the tables, and everything else. He handed us menus after a few minutes. I noticed a couple who arrived and sat at the bar; they were given water immediately. Meanwhile, it took about 25 minutes before our table received any water. By this time, I was already frustrated because the new guests who had just arrived got water before us. The food was very salty. I hope they have more staff working on a Thursday night in the future. Parking was difficult since it's all street parking.

Ambiance 5/5: Walking into Sticky Rice for the first time was a pleasant surprise! The ambiance is different than anywhere else I've been, a very fun, retro and Thai theme. There are a handful of tables in the back and an elegant bar at the front that makes you feel like you're at a tropical resort. Service 2/5: The bartender was also the server and busboy, so he definitely was stretched thin. I guess he forgot us in the back table because he ended up giving water to and taking the order of a new group who sat after us while we were there for about 10 minutes with nothing but the menus. My stomach was growling the whole time xD Food 4/5: The food was tasty but slightly salty, and nothing special. We got Pad See-Ew with the fried tofu, Khao Soi with Chicken, and Pork Jerky. I wished the sauce for the Pork Jerky was more sour to balance out the jerky, like I've had at other Thai places; I ended up not eating much of it, and will be making my own sauce and rice at home.

Cozy Thai spot tucked on Third Street. Small place with limited indoor, outdoor and bar seating. The service was quick and everyone was very polite and helpful. They offer a selection of natural wines which are very reasonably priced (~$30 for a bottle) among other drinks like Thai tea. We tried the Tom yum soup which was a sweeter rendition than other places we've tried and it was delicious. They offered different levels of spice which was nice too for those of us who can't handle super spicy. The pad siew and bowl noodles were fantastic as well. The crispy tofu in the pad siew was cooked perfectly and you had an option to choose your protein with the soups and entrees. Definitely will come back again. Limited street parking as it is off third street.

What a cute little Thai place I came for lunch too! They a variety of selection to choose from! I got the dragon noodles but mild spicy, which is actually pretty spicy so I would definitely lower the spice if you can't handle or order a extra side of noodles! I definitely wanna come visit and try the other food! The service here was just OK. It seemed like it was pretty empty when we came in!

One of my favorite Thai spots in LA! The richness in flavor in every dish is unparalleled. They use real ingredients, not just spices- to give that authentic Thai flavor. We always order for takeout but we came in today for a quick lunch and really felt the Thai vibes! The food is just as good in house vs for take out. Love this place! Give it a try if you havnt.

Loved this restaurant for the chicken satay and noodles! It has great ambiance with fun retro vibes of 80s movies. Very great staff, served us quick! ​​​​

Very glad they opened this spot - love Sticky Rice but never quite make it to the Silverlake location. Sat outside at the sidewalk tables which is not ideal, but wasn't bad on this block crowded with overpriced restaurants and valet. The sticky rice wings are just as good as always - golden brown and crispy with tender meat on the inside. The peppers give them just a touch of spice but I could have gone for more. The Thai pork jerky was a new one for me -- they're more like little boneless spare ribs than actual jerky, but that was preferably for me. Loved these and the sauce it came with. I enjoyed the drunken noodles too. The medium was a bit spicy for the man I was with () but I enjoyed them.

Good service. Serviceable ambiance. Nothing fancy. But just fine for a casual meal. However the food was disappointing. I ordered Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. Mind you I have been eating Thai food for decades. I spent more than $50 for two entrees and the food was so salty it was inedible. I tried to salvage both dishes by rinsing the noodles. That worked on the Pad Thai, sadly, not the Pad See Ew. Very disappointing.

Whenever I'm craving Thai, Sticky Rice is always one of my go-to spots! Most recently I ordered their drunken noodles, which were insanely flavorful and perfectly spicy. My favorite item is usually the pad see ew, which is a super rich, savory dish with the most amazing noodles. Their location on W 3rd St is not usually very crowded, and the food comes out insanely quickly. I like sitting outside but their tables are right along the edge of the sidewalk near the street, which can be a bit stressful. Servers are consistently friendly and have great recommendations!

Food was delicious. I got the gai yang (one of the house special)--easily one of the best meal I've ever had! The vibes of the restaurants were on point too. Staff were friendly.

Ordered takeout from Sticky Rice today, everyone was very impressed with the food. Ordered Crying Tiger which was skirt steak grilled and served with sticky rice, the meat was beyond delicious, could taste the flavors in the marinade that included the fish sauce and basil used in Thai cooking and the sticky rice was glutinous and sweet. Also ordered Pad Thai with shrimp, jumbo sized shrimp sweet and delicate. Ordered a vegan version the Pad Sieu, flat rice noodles cooked in a rich dark soy sauce and broccoli. The yellow curry with chicken had just a touch of heat. Very impressed with the food and will definitely order again.

I love the Thai pork jerky and sticky rice!! So Yummy! The service is quick and the ambiance is vibey and cozy.

Sticky Rice is located on a busy street, but the food quality and ambiance are well worth the struggle to find parking! Our server Moom was attentive and welcoming. We ordered the tom yum soup with shrimp, pad thai with chicken, skirt steak, and mango with sticky rice. All dishes were delicious! We also all ordered the thai tea which was not too sweet (the ultimate compliment from an Asian lol). I'd definitely come back to try the pad see ew :)

We just had dinner here at the bar. It's a great date spot, feels very authentic Thai. They did a great job with the "Thai Vibe". The food is authentic Thai spicy. The service was super nice, the bartender/server was so polite!

I got the pad see ew and I loved the way it was seasoned. Stumbled onto this little Thai restaurant and the atmosphere is very homey. Food came out pretty fast and the service was great. I'd recommend to a friend if I were in the area again!

I ordered 4 items, pad tai was salty, pad sewe was less flavor than usual. The curry was too watery.I didn't enjoy much this time.

Had a wonderful experience here, the food was amazing and the service was great as well. I'm a sucker for a good Panang Curry and theirs was top notch. The tom kha, tasted unlike any other place I went to, a must try!

We visited StickyRice LA at around 6 PM. Although we were stuck in traffic for an hour and 10 minutes, the experience was definitely worth it. For our main courses, we opted for Thai fried rice, panang curry, and crying tiger, choosing mild flavors. The taste was authentic and reminiscent of our trip to Thailand a few years back. The pricing is fair, and the portion sizes are generous enough for 1-2 people. Give them a shot and be sure to mention that the GoosbyTwins recommended you to try them out.

I was just there and ordered the pad see ew with steak and jalapeños, a dish I've enjoyed at other restaurants. When it arrived, I took a bite, but the strong smell of the egg was overwhelming, and I didn't find it tasty at all. So, I grabbed the check, paid, and left. The server noticed me at the bar and saw that I only took one bite. You'd think she would have offered to bring me something else, especially since I was paying $25, but she didn't. I told her it wasn't good and I didn't like it. I ended up paying $25 for a meal I couldn't eat.

Sticky Rice thai food restaurant opened its third location in SoCal. This one is on 3rd Street in the Beverly Grove area. Parking is limited street meter and please read the hours you can park to avoid getting a ticket. The restaurant is very small with a smallish bar, few indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were cordial, friendly and helpful. Have dined at the OG in Grand Central location, which is more of a cafe counter seating. Here, the space is small and tight, best to dine at the sidewalk outdoor table. The menu offers authentic versions of food it's as would be prepared in Thailand. Ordered my usual favs, perhaps I over ordered as usual. Good thing I can box it all up togo. Every dish was so flavorful, so fragrant with thai spices your taste buds will thank you. Especially loved the green veggie curry with tofu and the pad thai of course. Limited menu choices, mostly the popular dishes. This restaurant doesn't offer more seafood options beyond shrimp :( I plan on returning to try other menu offerings and I suggest you try thai food from Sticky Rice, again, your taste buds will thank you, Nice. Recommend!!

This place is located on a cute street and walkable from echo park lake. The ambiance is cute and I like that it's dim but the service is bad on a not even busy night. My food came out much sooner than my partners and we had to check on the dish more than once in which we received two different answers on the delay. Also the waitress never checked on us after taking our order and was rude when she presented the check. Also the stickers all over bathroom is weird and not demure. Food was not bad. I would like to come back but after a while when I forget how bad the service is.

We had the Pad Woon Sen and Pad See Ew. The flavors were good and the portion size decent. The staff was friendly but a bit MIA at times... restaurant was not that busy. Partner liked the decor, but for me the seating was tight Our major gripe was the additional cost of the proteins. $4 extra for pork or chicken is not cool. Sisters Thai and Otus do not charge extra for these. The other entree prices are also high. Definitely a $$$ restaurant.

Oily Drunken "Heart-Attack" Noodles! We love Sticky Rice from Grand Central, but don't expect the same from this location by The Grove. It's such a disappointment. They must have a HUGE discount on oil, bc they pour a bucket of it in everything they cook. We've given this place so many chances, and kindly asked for less oil, even in person (see pics for reference) but we think they on purpose pour even more! Perhaps it's a freebie for us to save on oil and use it for all whole year on our cooking?! Hate to give bad reviews, but this sadly deserves it. SO GROSS!!! We'll never order from this place again. Been coming to this place since they first opened! The vibes are immaculate and the food is such a treat. Great flavors and always order the thai tea. Really great service too everyone here is so nice. Whether its take out or a sit down I'll always come back to eat with Sticky Rice.

We just went here for the first time and really enjoyed ourselves! The space has an enjoyable atmosphere and the staff were very friendly/gave great service. The chicken satay was phenomenal and I liked the Thai iced tea! OH! And the sticky rice was Will certainly be back

Crying tiger, sticky wings and papaya salad all very good. Got medium spice for papaya and it def has a kick. Very cute restaurant and almost full for a Tuesday - great ambiance and service, will go back to try remaining menu items!

Came here for dinner recently, and it was delicious! My friend and I split a chicken pad thai, vegetable thai fried rice, and crispy tofu. Everything was very flavorful and I felt their portions were quite generous. We sat outside because the inside was stifling hot - outside is right on 3rd street so there isn't much in the way of ambiance. Service seemed to fall completely on one guy taking care of the entire restaurant and bar, so perhaps being inside would have moved things along faster. But the food was good, and I would come back!

Mia was my server tonight. She was lovely and playful. She recommended basil dish which is wonderful.

We tried there to go and its just the same when you dine in! And Ray is always amazing! Shes so great! Food is always delicious!
