This is my favorite pho place in town. The broth is incredible and the steak is thin cuts of lean red meat! The staff is nice, the delivery guy that comes by my place is super cute, the food is amazing, and the price really isn't too bad. The Tom Yum Kha is delicious too!

No matter what time of day, and who's on the clock, this place will always serve you perfect plates with amazing Vietnamese foods. A fraction of the size of the original 888, this store still brings a very unique feel to South Congress.

Came here for lunch on a cold afternoon with a friend. I was very excited to finally get the chance to try this place. I have a ton of people rave about the food here, but they typically go to the other location. The experience turned into a highly disappointing situation quickly, It's a walk up to the counter order and pay kind of restaurant. We looked over the menu for our options, but weren't greeted by the employees. The lady finally helped us take our order. I ordered eggrolls and two Pho Tai. This place is very "Americanized" they do not list items as they are traditionally called or referred to. I had a hard time trying to locate the item with the odd descriptions the menu had. We were not offered any water with our meal. I was given my total and they lady rang me up incorrectly but had already walked off before I could tell her anything. We found a table outside to wait for our food and she came and found me to correct the total. She was not clear on how she was going to fix the tender amount. It was quite a disaster. Communication regarding this issue was extremely poor and confusing. I will be interested to see how the transaction is posted on my credit card. The Food: The food finally came out and it was by far the worse bowl of Pho I have ever eaten. The noodles were clumped together and cold. The broth lacked and flavoring. The eggrolls was 90% wrapping 10% filling. Parking: There is parking in the back of the building that is for retail only, some of them are tight spots, but there is also street parking available too. The food and service here was awful and I would never recommend coming here nor would I return. The entire experience was very disappointing since I had been looking forward to trying this place for so long.

They don't make their bubble milk teas fresh... They just pull a disgusting frothy pitcher from a refrigerator and throw it into a Styrofoam cup. Absolutely disgusting taste and consistency. 0/10 would bang.

Roasted duck was ridiculous. I'm pissed because the peanut sauce was hidden under everything in my bowl and I ate pretty much everything before I knew it was there. It's delicious 👌👌 I know duck and this is by far the best I've had in ATX

Food is just as delicious as the original 888, while being super quick and convenient. Surprisingly large selection of food given that it's basically a food counter. The oxtail pho is divine.

Great Vietnamese cafe, the pho is on point and the lettuce wraps are incredible. Annoyingly like half of Vietnamese places they don't accept AMEX.

Decent Vietnamese all around. Pho can be really hit or miss, but the Banh mis are above average. Prices are about what you would expect for a place on S Congress.
