I've been here for happy hour numerous times recently, and have sat at the bar. Which is distanced seating, of course! Most of the food has been very good. The sliders are among the best I've had anywhere, and are discounted for HH Sun-Thurs from 4-6.
The pepperoni pizza was also very good. The brisket sandwich, however, was disappointing, I did not taste the onion jam mentioned on the menu and there were chunks of fat in the sandwich. No BBQ sauce?? I don't think the brisket was seasoned, and it actually tasted similar to an Arby's sandwich.
Happy hour drink prices are on hold now, but they do have a $6 mai tai that is just as good as most of the $10 drinks. I recommend the jalepeno margarita! The beer selection is very good, and they have Triple 7 drafts (just one now).
This is a cool place that should have been here a long time ago. It's more modern than traditional Suncoast eateries have been. The decor is pretty unique, with some "vintage" neon from the Stardust- a surprising and cool touch. Booth seating is pretty comfortable, and when I dined with 2 friends we all enjoyed the food. We especially were impressed with the poke nachos and rock shrimp. Portions were large, and we had plenty to share.
We did have a long wait to pay our checks, due to a mix up with credit cards. For this, and without any prompting, our server offered us comped drinks for the inconvenience. I appreciate this gesture, and will consider that when thinking about returning! We enjoyed our drinks on the patio, which was fun. It's a nice patio, although there's not much of a view- it overlooks the parking lot.
I'm surprised they haven't added any machines to the bar, this would be great for non-smoking gaming.
