Where To Eat Outside In Jersey City & Hoboken

"The term “local beers” gets thrown around a lot, and for every one you could get to with a bicycle, there tend to be five more that’d require an Amtrak ticket. When you want local to really mean local, head to the rooftop at 902 Brewing in Communipaw. The entire, long list of draft and canned beers are made on-site, and the staff will help you choose one you’ll enjoy, like the one with the highest ABV if you happen to be here during a Giants game, when they host viewing parties that they call “support group meetings.”" - hannah albertine, nikko duren, matt tervooren

Google
My favorite brewery in Jersey City. They have a solid draft list with really good sours and IPAs. The rooftop patio is so lovely when it’s not cold. You get great views and there’s live music at times. There’s plenty of board games and many times a food truck. Prices are great, too. Makes for a really fun time.

This place is great and very family friendly. Beer is also great we had a great time there with our family

Google
It was the perfect day for a rooftop brewery experience. It wasn’t too hot and there was a nice breeze. The tour wasn’t too long. They were flavorful beers. We bought some to bring home. They have some seltzers on hand if beer isn’t your thing.

Google
Beer & dogs & great people. This spot has a nice selection of beers no matter what your taste is. Dogs welcome ! Please bring your dog. Just wish there was some food trucks on property to keep the party going but im sure you can have food delivered. Have you seen their rooftop? Avoid the lantern flies up there but its an awesome vibe in the summer/early fall. And they had a car show and other events. You can even watch Sunday football! Love it here.

Google
Live right around the corner and stumbled upon this brewery. Brews are delicious no matter what you choose and the staff are A+++++! Was shown the roof top area, they do private parties, it’s a home run for me. A must see in JC! Came to update my review since I just hosted my shower here yesterday 2/19/23. The staff was accommodating and helpful, they pretty much give you creative freedom with arranging tables / setting up decorations etc. All the guests really enjoyed the brews and the large selection to choose from. Event pricing is super reasonable (especially for jersey city) and they provide you with several options to choose from. They can not assist with food, but are definitely accommodating for catering services and allowed my caterer to come very early to set up! Definitely a great place to host your parties / events! But for future patrons PLEASE READ the signs the staff put out in the front stating “private event”. The bartenders had to keep asking people to leave because people wouldn’t just read a very large chalk board stating closed for private party lol

Google
We were pleasantly surprised to see a party when we got there.. The brewery was hosting a Halloween party! We had a great time enjoying the live music while sipping on delicious beers. I wish however that they offered flights or smaller sizes so we could have tried other beers.

Google
The brewery itself is massive! I went on a Friday during the day and was able to sample of few beers and relax. The rooftop is a really cool addition and can envision it being a nice place to hang out w/ some awesome views of the skyline. Tons of corn hole boards, TVs and activities to enjoy along w/ a number of events scheduled to really maximize the potential of the space. as for the beer, I had a flight that included the shark sour, Hoboken pale ale, Sky was yellow and the Strawberry Seltzer. they were okay but wasn’t crazy about any of them. After that I tried a 16oz Chilltown Crusher and that was my favorite. The beer was anlittle disappointing and that’s the reason for the 4 but I’ll be back to give the others a try.

Google
Awful staff and owners. I was there for a charity event, which they kicked out halfway through because they had double booked with an engagement party and refused to honor their commitment to the nonprofit. They weren’t even apologetic or respectful, they just threatened to cut our sound and pretended like they didn’t know what to expect even though it had all been clearly communicated. These people do not deserve your business and do not care about the community.

Yelp
While i tend to wait before i write my reviews and at least visit the place a few times, this place I might not ever visit since Im not in the area but maybe someone can benefit from my experience. 1.- They have no food but there is a tiny "troll" size Mexican taco truck parked out side. I do not know the days if they match but what I can tell you is that the beers sold, pair well with the tacos. Maybe do a taco Tuesday night at the brewery. 2.- Service was quick and pleasant. There was an event celebrating what seemed to be service men/women and I was more than grateful to support the venue. 3.- The Brewery is huge and can accommodate a ton of people. The ambiance is more of a factory style ( like real breweries ) and you can see the tanks right from where you sit. There was plenty of parking for those like me who drove by and saw the spot.

Yelp
Loved this spot! A little off the beaten path but great rooftop view of the city. The beer options are plenty and I've never seen a dark IPA before but wow was it delicious. The staff was super friendly inviting us to try different beers - this is a great year round spot for a brewery!

Yelp
Hands down one of my favorite breweries I've even been to and I've been to hundreds of them. Why you ask? Well... First off, the building itself is spectacular and the whole vibe of this place is off the charts. They had live music playing on the rooftop with a view of the NYC skyline. Everyone was vibing, chilling, smiling, and happy, and I love that! Their beers are super tasty and I cannot wait to come back and enjoy more of them, eat from whatever food truck is there, and listen to whatever musician is playing. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed it immensely. We ordered: - Jersey Blueberry Sour 10/10 - Oktoberfest Lager 10/10 This place is truly a hidden gem. Thanks :)

Yelp
Love this place! Great selection of sours, IPAs, lagers, you name it. Love the vibe. The rooftop had great views and live music at times. There's usually a food truck and plenty of board games to play too!

Yelp
JERSEY CITY: 902 Brewing Co. is a great brewery right on the outskirts of town and is dog friendly! The tap room has a warehouse feel and is spacious and fun to hang out in! We had a flight with the Hudson White wheat, Mango hard seltzer, Peach Rings sour ale, and The Darkness on the Edge of Town stout, and there are a 16 beers on tap! There is a rooftop area with views of the Jersey City and NYC skyline, which is worth a peek, but dogs have to stay downstairs in the main room. The main room has big windows, long tables, and a view of the production area. Cheers!

Yelp
What a wonderful brewery here in Jersey City. Great place to grab a drink and unwind after a long day. Beautiful rooftop with a panoramic view of the NYC and Jersey City Skyline. They have a wide variety of beers that will suit ur pallet. From IPAs to Pilsner to seltzers. They have it all. They also have carryout as well. So, grab a few for the road. Check their schedule for special events they have throughout the year. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. They also have TVs here to also catch a big game or event. Great experience.

Yelp
Stopped by on our short trip to New Jersey while flying internationally. The staff, especially Cassie was an absolute joy. We talked about beers as well as the area and she was knowledgeable in both. While they don't have food trucks all the time we were given a a local Taco place that was amazing. Their beer was great and we personally enjoyed all the lager beers and their pale ale and amber ale. They are dog friendly and seemed like a family friendly place, if we lived in this state it would be a spot we would frequent often. If you are a local or a traveler like us give them a try and don't be afraid to start a conversation up... you will be happy you did.

Anna M.

Yelp
Had a bad experience here. Service was rude and the brewery double booked the space for 2 events. The event I attended had to abruptly end to make space for the other event. Incredibly unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. The beer was fine but not anything special.

Yelp
Great beer, great space. Owner is very knowledgeable and accessible and is happy to explain his process and all the greatness of brewing. They have a great selection of tasty beers both on tap and canned. It also has a really neat rooftop and a good crowd. It's near the light rail, but plenty of parking should you wind up being a designated driver. Drink one for me.

Yelp
(Drank 07/11/23 TU @ 4:00pm): From the "902" to the "101", there certainly has been something brewing! On this recent trip, I was on a mission to explore the small beer scene in Jersey City and ended up at 902 Brewing Co. An idea that fermented and formed in 2012 in a tiny apartment ("902") to this brick & mortar, the founders have certainly come a long way! With a good assortment of beers to try, was there enough brewing to bring me back for more!? PURCHASE The 4-4floz Taster Flight ($13.00): Choose any four beers https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=eYC21sfrx8rsqsOjOYhMZQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw 1. You're Killing Me Smalls Session IPA 4.3% ABV: Bright amber color, citrusy hoppy aroma, low body, citrusy hoppy flavor, smooth finish, and slight citrusy hoppy aftertaste - chilling. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=GBH9gveuP1Og4fpP6YiFhw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw 2. Heaven, Hell, Or Hoboken American IPA 6.5% ABV: Bright amber color, light hoppy aroma, low body, light hoppy flavor, crisp finish, and light hoppy aftertaste - simple. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=dU_RcHC5ZXP1A7KG6k2YZQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw 3. Welcome Baby Janiel Lager 4.3% ABV: Blue gray color, slight malty aroma, low body, slight malty flavor, smooth finish, and slight malty aftertaste - funky. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=EHTYLIP_m-MBrhM8XCYX1g&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw 4. Tropical Mango Peach Vanilla Milkshake IPA 7.9% ABV: Hazy yellow color, slight tropical aroma, low body, slight milky tropical flavor, mouthfeel finish, and slight tropical aftertaste - my favorite. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=aqQSVoeK2LCiJMXK9Fflsw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Blood Orange American IPA 6.5% ABV 16floz Draft ($7.00): Blood orange color, slight citrusy orange aroma, low body, slight citrusy orange hoppy flavor, crisp finish, and slight orange hoppy aftertaste - yummy. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=lnEt7Lx6mJdiF7Zsp4cVlw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Pooch Pretzels 5.5oz Bag ($6.00): We couldn't leave out our furry family member, so he got some treats, too, along with a bowl of water. He seemed to really like them! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=-PsEfdD7IAHagj6w_gD9dA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw The Hangover Pretzel Co. Original Zesty Lemon Pepper Pretzel Pieces 11.2oz Bag ($8.00): Us humans also needed some treats to pair with the beers. The flavor was nice, but each piece was a bit large and harder than expected. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=jZaYJjMlXIvT8blqw-2u9A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE Immediately greeted by a charming young woman behind the bar, we approached her to which she gave us a quick rundown of their brews and offered water to our dog. Once we decided what we wanted, she easily set up our respective taster flights, and off we went to taste. We also grabbed some snacks and another beer, but generally speaking the service was all pretty straightforward with no table service which was fine with us - all was good! PARKING (FREE) We took the light rail to the Garfield Ave. stop and walked about 15 minutes through a rather off-the-beaten-path industrial area. They had their own onsite lot. Otherwise, there appeared to be plenty of spots along the dirt main drag of Pacific Ave. and nearby surrounding side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A spacious industrial warehouse structure https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=JQCvyM7_qMl7oGfj31Gh8Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw with plenty of chairs and tables, a bar area https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=EBJITv5TUsQTdr1Ejq0bEA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw with a ton of barstools, and brewing tanks in plain view. Various decorations covered the walls. Menus https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=mbY4q-J6hYgmjnoE5PA7Iw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw were placed at each seating area. Apparently, there was also a rooftop bar! Plenty of natural lighting came through the various large glass windows and front door while an assortment of electric high ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were muted TVs while smooth R&B music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=uYiuLw7kkBaGRQEOBOJWVg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL 902 Brewing Co. was a success, and I looked forward to my next visit to try what I missed this time around. I generally liked the beers (nearly 20 on tap), comparable prices, and adequate service. No onsite food or trucks, it was a BYO style. And, they were definitely family and pet-friendly. I found total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $36.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Yelp
As a resident of Jersey City. I am disappointed that this establishment effects our right to quiet enjoyment of our home. If you live between Bayview Drive, and Communipaw Avenue off of Garfield Ave. Most likely you heard the loud music playing yourself. Last summer I contacted the owner about his parking lot being used to host tailgate parties late at night and he insisted that he was not connected to that group and that they were using his property illegally. Unfortunately tonight that was proven to be untrue. Not only is the business supporting this violation of Jersey City ordinance 2C:33-12. Maintaining a nuisance, but he is profiting from it. I decided to go and see where this music is coming from and their business is open and it's clear their are hosting this party. It's a shame that this owner comes over here to our community and allows our residents to have to deal with the noise coming into our homes for his business, and then he goes back to were he lives and doesn't have to deal with the issue he has created for us.

Yelp
Hanging out at this brewery is such a good time. The menu has options for beer-lovers and non-beer drinkers alike. The playlist included a lot of Noah Kahan. There were locally made snacks available for purchase. Their flights are a good deal and I recommend starting with one, but I ended up loving the Tropical Pale Ale the most and getting a glass of that afterwards. Must tries include the Coffee Crumb Cake stout and My Way IPA.

Yelp
Excellent beer & good vibes all around. Totally in the middle of nowhere in this city, but that means free parking!!! (If not overly crowded).

Yelp
Terrific selection of beers and the brewmaster Reed was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a great find for someone from Seattle! The black IPA was a particularly good choice. Well worth a visit‼

Yelp
Brews with a view! That's right - like many other breweries, 902 is tucked away in an industrial area. But unlike other NJ breweries, 902 has a rooftop with views of the city! But wait, there's more! Unlike many places in downtown JC, there's parking! If a rooftop and parking aren't enough, the beers are worth a try. My friend and I each got a flight. Despite the fact that we selected 3 of the same pours, I think one of us was given something else. Nonetheless, we each enjoyed the beers amongst them the Orange Twist, Heaven Hell or Hoboken, and It Was All A Dream.

Yelp
Lovely distellery. Great beers. They also have a rooftop which will be nice in the summer. I went early in the evening so it was less busy. Loved their stout. Nice friendly place.

Yelp
Came with a few friends on a whim one day. It was a week day so it was quiet. The place is in the cut so I don't know if a lot of people know about it. It definitely has great space with large a warehouse style look. The type of grungy space one would Want to see in a brewery. There were picnic tables, old school board games, and an open air garage type layout. There's also a small rooftop with nice city views. The staff was pretty cool and the place is bring your own food. Now for the beer! They had some cool names for the beers I had one called Double Paaked which was a New England IPA which was my favorite. Also had It was All A Dream which was my second favorite. Bottom line great place to bring your friends and try new beer.

Yelp
This place was really cool. We went for a friend's birthday. They have nice benches inside so room for everyone and plenty of seating too. They all have a nice roof top area. It was November so we didn't go up there. We went on a Sunday and it was pretty dead .

Yelp
Finally checked out 902 Brewing this past Saturday afternoon. It was their Oktoberfest kick off so I was expecting it to be more crowded but it wasn't too bad. We easily got a parking spot across the street. It's in a pretty industrial area and not much else right around it. We opted to sit inside at a picnic table since the rooftop was empty and not very scenic. They also have seats at the bar and some high top round tables with seating (although most of those tables were very wobbly). I was expecting them to have some other alcoholic options besides beer, however I was wrong. They have beer, seltzers, some snacks (bags of gourmet pretzels, etc) and a couple food trucks were stationed outside if you wanted real food. Since we were unfamiliar with their beers, we started off with a flight. They carry more IPAs than any other style beer. I liked the Heaven, Hell or Hoboken a lot. The Easy Haze was also an easy IPA to drink. Their seasonal Oktoberfest was pretty good too. We brought our own card games to play, although they had some board games throughout the main room. I don't know that I'll rush back here but it would be fun to go again with a group of friends when they have a special event or live music going on.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice local brewery in Jersey City that I was able to enjoy as they sponsored a 5K I ran recently. Open air joint with plenty of seating, garage doors to let in fresh air, a nice selection of craft beers, and a friendly staff. Large bar area to sit at and view the menu of beers on the wall, with communal picnic tables and two person hightops on the main floor with the shiny brewing vats all around. I enjoyed an IPA and Pilsner after a hot sweaty race. They also have live music and events here. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to return and try more brews.

Yelp
Finally made it out to this Jersey City brewery! It's located just outside of downtown near liberty state park and has a big indoor space and an awesome rooftop with views of the city skyline They have a solid selection of beers included seasonal/fun sours, stouts, and even a couple Holiday beers. My boyfriend and I both love sours so we tried the peach ring sour which was really good! Prices are super fair. They don't sell food but sometimes have a food truck parked outside. Tons of people, including ourselves brought take out pizza or other delivery food to enjoy with their beer. They also do events like live music quite often and this night they had a live band. Unfortunately, someone decided to bring an entire kids soccer team to the brewery so it was tough to hear the band over the kids playing/yelling. They also sell 4 packs of most their beers to go. Overall a good spot to grab a beer with friends or stop by for a pack to go!

Yelp
902 is a great place to relax - the beer is excellent, employees & clientele are friendly, and it's family & dog friendly. They have two TVs playing sporting events and a cabinet of games. When it's warmer, the rooftop patio offers great views. Parking is ample as well. We love finishing off our week at 902 - writing a few last emails and lazily trying the latest beers (tap is always rotating) while also getting some of the dogs energy out with all the sniffs and friendly pets. It's also a great place to come on a weekend afternoon - we killed a few hours playing Catan with a friend visiting from Dallas before he flew out of EWR and he now actively plans flights later in the day so we can stop by before he heads out.
google avatar

Louis R.

Yelp
Not sure if I'd hit this spot again. Its not a bad spot to drink and hang, mind you. Their interior and exterior drinking area is money. Its just that the last 2 times I hit it up, there were private events going on. That, in of itself, isn't a bad thing but when I called prior to hitting the spot up, the dude that answered didn't mention that fact. I'd like the heads-up that they would be closed to the public. I hate wasting time traveling to a bar, just to be informed, at the moment I get there, that I can't stay. I can spend my cabbage at other 20 bars in the area, so no harm no foul.

Yelp
covid review: Love the rooftop! Grab your drinks and head to the rooftop. theres benches and tables up there. the space inside is huge too. Ive been coming here since they first opened during early Covid times, and i have to say i love their selection now. I love the unique seltzers and sour beers. Cant wait to see what else is in store for the brewery. I will be back!
google avatar

Damian D.

Yelp
Nice addition to BeLa. The once desolate stretch of Pacific is busy with new development and remediation, with the Canal Crossing project virtually in 902's backyard. That said, 902 is doing everything right in these Covid times. Mask up, be ready to have your temp taken before being allowed entry, tables well spaced. Excellent descriptions of the beers and ales very accurately sum up the flavors in the pints we ordered. When we asked a question our server couldn't answer she went behind the bar,'asked another server, and rushed back with the information. Well done! $7/pint is well worth it for delicious beers and ales!

Yelp
Great Selection of Craft Beers , amazing packaging and Decent price for good beer, if you love IPAs must try it

Yelp
New Jersey IPA - light hops after taste My way - fruity Path - smooth Hurley - light amber Cheers - full bodied 10.1 % Irish coffee stout. Smooth Cranberry lime seltzer needed fizz Juices City strangely garlic aftertaste Four beers in a flight, try them all. Ivette was a delightful server. Offered suggestions, gave a sample, service with a smile! Made a reservation for 7 at 2:00 no seats left by 3:00

Yelp
902 Brewing is an oasis of fun in the middle of an industrial neighborhood. The modern tasting room offers more brews on tap than most breweries, provides tasting flights, occasionally has live music, allows you to order outside food to the bar, and even has a rooftop space with views of the Manhattan skyline. Their recent on-tap selection was vast, including various hard seltzers and several kinds of beer. The Michaelada Lager really tasted like the Mexican cocktail with an abundance of spice and hint of lime. The Freedom Lager was rich and slightly bitter, but also crisp, versatile, and refreshing. The Coffee Crumb Cake Milk Stout tasted like coffee grinds and needed more cinnamon notes for a kick of sweetness. My favorite was the Currant Mood New England IPA, which was hazy and unfiltered, while offering tastes of ripe passion fruit and currant. Though you can purchase 902's beers in the liquor store or at local bars, it is worth the trip to their brewery for an enjoyable afternoon or for one of their frequent events.

Yelp
Super chill place to hang out and try some local brews. Great selections with friendly and helpful staff! Definitely check out if you're in the area

Yelp
Had an awesome time at 902 Brewing last night! We live close by and decided to finally check it out. It just so happens that there was a comedy jam event happening. We decided to stay and bought tickets at the door (they were $35 each). The show didn't start exactly on time but we barely noticed as we were enjoying the nice selection of beers and exploring the vendor stations. There is no food served but they had an interesting food truck outside we didn't get to try unfortunately. The show was great! The comedians and host were hilarious. The staff were very nice and moved quickly through the sea of people ordering at the bar. Excited to return! We discovered they have an event calendar on their website and if you ask me what best part is about this place besides the beer? They allow dogs!! Our fur baby also enjoyed the comedy show with us. LOL.

Yelp
First visited the brewery on Halloween. Between being very dog friendly, the Tom Petty tribute band and TVs for football, it was a great experience and will be back.

Yelp
Nice place to hang out with your friends. It's in Jersey City and has a roof top with great views. Decent selection of beers. I love that they had some games on the rooftop for people to enjoy. The night we went there were people celebrating someone's birthday on the rooftop and I thought that was a nice idea.

Yelp
Came in to 902 Brewing after spending some time in Jersey City. Ordered the Freedom which is considered a pre-prohibition style lager. Very good and perfectly crafted beer. I also tried the Hurley Hoops & Hops. Service was excellent and the setting is very casual and friendly. The gentlemen serving was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They also sell their beer so we walked out with a four pack of the Hurley Hoops &Hops.

Yelp
COUNT YOUR DRINKs! Take inventory of what you consume and make sure you're getting charged correctly! I've been overcharged and they don't want to make adjustments, nor will they answer me. My friend and I were curious about the Peach Sour, we ordered and didn't think it was good. We drank it anyways because we didn't want to make a big deal, only to find out we got charged for TWO. EWW! Update: 8/13/22 - i got my refund but It took several messages, emails and a few 1-star reviews to finally get their attention.

Yelp
Literally a hidden gem in JC!! I am trying to expand my beer palate as lately i am becoming a beer fan and this brewery was fantastic for me. I don't like strong beers and all of the beers i tried in my flight i absolutely loved! Here's the thing...The surrounding area where this brewery is located looks kind of sketchy and gives me warehouse vibes. However, it's worth it once you are inside. The place is spacious, the service was great And my favorite part of them all is that they have games like connect 4 and the game of life just to name a few. The brewery does have a rooftop but i didn't get to check it out because i was too busy drinking beer and playing games. They don't have food so that's something to keep in mind so make sure to eat before coming here. And the beers are such great reasonable prices. I really enjoyed my time drinking and playing games here so i will definitely be coming back. Plus there's lots of parking.

Yelp
Came here for a brief moment bc my friends wanted to check it out. There's a parking lot across the street which makes it easy to park. Seating is pretty decent and open so you can come here with one person or a group. There's a bathroom inside which is convenient. You get to sit in the brewery which is pretty cool. I tried their flight but honestly it wasnt amazingg but definitely an experience to try. There's games there you can play and they dont mind if you bring outside food so you can drink and eat to your heart's galore. Overall not a bad experience, perhaps ill come back and try out other drinks with other people ! Great ambiance

Yelp
Took some tenacity to get there. Well brewed beers brewed on site. You can smell the malt and mash. Cool laid back vibe. How can you fault a place with a beer named after a classic line and a sweet roof top space. Your killing me smalls - refreshing session OG small batch IPA (6.5%) - not much up front but nice finish Path pale ale (5.3) - light with a bite Kviek (6.7) IPA - no nose but nice bite Also tried the Irish Coffee Stout (7.4%) - really nice stout. Made me remember how much I like a well made stout. And the guys from the Nick Clemons Band were a hoot.

Yelp
Folks at 902 Brewing, thanks for blessing JC with your wonderful craft brewing. Had bookmarked this place for sometime and decided to give it a try before summer wrapped up this year and turned out to be a wonderful start to the Sept long weekend. Great range of flavors with their IPAs. The food truck outside the brewery also churns wonderful delicious items(forget the name of the truck). Verdict - just go ASAP. Planning to be a regular here, despite its a bit of a hike from DTJC

Yelp
This place was a great find! The staff was really nice and knowledgeable about their products. They took the time to explain all the options and made very good recommendations. Of the five that they recommended for my flight, I really enjoyed three, liked one and was not a fan of the last one. I will be happy to go back when outside opens up again.

Yelp
I stopped in at this brewery that was off the beaten path! The vibe inside is really chill and welcoming. Everyone had their dog with them and there were tons of board games you could play. The beer had cool names and were tasty. You can also do flights.

Yelp
I loved this place! Very spacious, so definitely not an issue visiting during these uncertain times. They had a great variety of beer, options to satisfy all different kinds of taste buds. The location almost feels like you're in the middle of nowhere somewhere in Brooklyn, but it's great; specially because it's easy to find parking. I have never been to this side of Jersey City. They have a cute rooftop with great views, which would be great during warmer days, and they have games which you could play at your table; such as giant cards! The staff was friendly and welcoming! Definitely will be going back to this place again.

Yelp
Went for a bike ride and finally got to check the space out! Looks like it's going to be an amazing brewery spot- they are even going to have a rooftop. We got two beers to go for $25 that were delicious. I can't wait till they open their tasting area so I can sample them all! The woman working behind the bar was super friendly and also said they are trying to expand their outdoor area. Also if you are driving there is ample parking!

Yelp
Easy to get to in JC with plenty of parking and a great menu of rotating beers. You can get tasting flights or different sized glasses of beer and there is usually a food truck outside. They have TVs playing the big games so you can watch while you drink. The location is dog friendly and kid friendly which makes it a nice family outing spot. They have games as well!

Yelp
Awesome place for a couple of beers and a view of the city! I make the great pilgrimage here every so often to grab a few beers on tap (which there are tons of) and sink in that beautiful view of Jersey City. Beers - (4/5) - 902 has a lot of beers in rotation, and they always have new ones circulating every so often. When you walk into the main room, you'll see this huge wall of plates of different beers. If you're a fan of IPAs or lagers, they got a bunch to try from. They also do 5oz flights as well, so start being adventurous. Service - (5/5) - Service has always been good, and I don't think I ever had a bad interaction with any of the staff. On busy days, they got 2 bartenders working, so lines aren't too bad. Venue - (5/5) - This place is huge!! The venue has a huge main bar room with several tables and seats (also placed next to their fermenters). You can access their rooftop spot which has a great view of Jersey City and NYC. There are a couple of tables upstairs (however no rooftop bars, so be careful when you're carrying beers up the stairs). If you're thinking of driving here, there are at least 10+ parking spots attached to the building, else you can do street parking (which isn't usually busy).

Yelp
Excellent beer. The place itself was great. It was cheaper to buy a 10 or 16oz than to get a flight. The price of the flight was the only thing g that put me off. $13 was a bit much for 4 , 4oz cups of beer. But I still give a 5 because of the beer itself and the atmosphere.

Yelp
Showed up with some friends for drinks tonight with a view but we were creeped out by kids getting paraded in front of a camera on the roof giving what looked like forced confessions. Will not return.

Yelp
Excellent Brewery to stop by in JC! It has plenty indoor and outdoor seating area. From rooftop seating area, you can definitely get a good view of NY city. They do not serve food like most of the brewery but you are more than welcome to bring your own food. The layout of then building is very large so definitely can social distance and enjoy! There are also plenty of beer selection to choose from and bartenders are open to giving small portion for customer to taste before buying the whole glass. Great place to be at if you are in Jersey city, will stop by again before winter begins!
