This gallery was a lot of fun, saw a great art show here and enjoyed the outdoor patio that had a bar/food truck. There is a public restroom inside and entrance was free.

This is such an eclectic space. The artwork outside is great for pics. I just went to a SoFar event there and saw some great musical artist

This is my favorite gallery in Columbus. It's a little off the beaten track, but well worth the visit, especially on gallery opening nights. They always have a fresh collection of artists that veers a bit away from Columbus trends but is generally of very high quality. They have also been a fantastic force in the arts and music community for years, as the original home of What? Fest and a variety of other organizations and events. Their space is clean and bright, they always serve great snacks and local brews at openings, and when the weather is nice they open their garage door to the outside, which is a wonderful gritty-cool compound of graffiti art and hangout space. They even have a small garage space that they use for special exhibitions with some cool technology/projection works from time to time. A gem in Columbus!

I've visited this gallery a few times over the years and have thought it was a lovely place. Now I cannot even word the disappointment I have with this gallery. 3 wonderful local artists painted a mural that pays homage to Latin culture with a goddess who represents fertility. It is a nude mural but it was not graphic at all. Everything was fine with the mural until the day after Latino Heritage month was over (such interesting timing). They have disrespectfully covered the art with some sort of Halloween prop. As an artist myself, I will now NEVER submit my art here and encourage other artists (ESPECIALLY if you are BIPOC) to do the same. I would never want to be apart of a gallery that censors art and ESPECIALLY in such a disrespectful way. By doing that, art begins to lose it's meaning. Racism in 2022 is not it and I will not be returning to this gallery in the future.

Yelp
Very cool gallery that I wish had a little more popularity. It's a small space but you still see a good number of paintings and sculptures. I came a little past 1 on a Saturday for an exhibition and it was only us and a volunteer and an intern. They said that they typically don't get many people here unless they have a huge event in which the artist brings their friends to the reception. Still, I wish more people knew about it. They do events here once a month and have an annual festival in early September! Be sure to follow their Instagram and Facebook for more updates! It's volunteer-run, so if you're interested in helping them out they welcome it! They had a few appetizers out, coffee, and juice. The juice was very refreshing! There are a few murals around it and on the building itself. There's a parking lot to the right of it that I think is theirs or you can do street parking on Starr Ave. I'm coming back again next month!

Yelp
Went to this gallery for a friend's album release, stayed for the eclectic art exhibition that was maintained in several rooms. Being that I was there for a specific music event I didn't get to spend as much time with the art as I would have liked to but I have every intention on changing that. I love the painting on the outside of the building and the architecture itself is very interesting.

Yelp
Stopped in here last Friday to check out my friends's opening night. Neat little gallery! It has 3 different "rooms" and then opens in the back to the outside. They had drinks and some tables outside which was where most of the people were hanging out. I don't believe there was A/C in the gallery though, as it was a bit stuffy. It is August though! They do have a small area for parking off to the side and there's not a lot of other business around so street parking should be fairly easy to find. Definitely a hidden gem! (Although probably not for long as growth along 4th street will likely spread to that area soon enough!)

Yelp
THE best art gallery in Columbus. 934 is bringing innovation in art gallery offerings to the Milo-Grogan neighborhood. This spot is basically volunteer run and putting up new shows on quick rotation all the while tossing in music, fashion, and community events that have all been so much fun. They really showcase diversity and inclusion and feel like part of the neighborhood. I try to make it to every opening just to see what's next. If you haven't been to an event there, follow them on facebook and get to something ASAP. You'll fall in love with everything they're doing!
