Goldie's is a warm, intimate, upscale establishment. They've done a nice job with the layout of the restaurant given the limited amount of space available. It is also quite expensive. Salads range from $14.00 to $22.00. Hors d'oeuvres range from $15.00 to $26.00. The least expensive entrée is the cheeseburger which is $18.00 and includes French fries. Both the fries and the burger are excellent. You'll pay $48.00 for a prime filet. Goldie's has only been open for about nine months and I sincerely hope they make it. They are nestled in the southeast quadrant of the Audelia Road and Walnut Hill intersection in Lake Highlands.

The apps were fantastic! I could have had 2 plates of the beet hummus. Plus, the mussels with fries were fantastic. The broth was rich but perfect for dipping. The mussels were nice and plump. The fries tasted as if they were cooked in duck fat. My friend enjoyed the fish dish. The pork chop was tasty the potatoes tasted a bit too vinegary to me. The Mac and cheese could been creamy with a pinch more seasoning. The ambience is great and service was stellar.

I had an amazing dining experience! The bone marrow bruschetta soaking into the toast must have been a treat, and the magic chicken thighs with that crispy skin sound irresistible. The homestyle pork chop was juicy and paired perfectly with the German potatoes and broccoli. And a moist German chocolate cake is the cherry on top! Kudos to Kathy for providing excellent service. It definitely is a place worth returning to! A nice intimate setting and good for large groups as well. The music was a hit... see you all again

My wife took me here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. We had been meaning to try this place for a while and glad we did. The place is on the smaller side, but it makes for a more romantic atmosphere, especially with the lighting. Their bourbon selection is great and the prices are reasonable. The tuna tataki was recommended to us by our server and it was amazing. The flavor was excellent. The New York strip with bone marrow butter and the fillet were cooked perfectly. The honey butter carrots and potatoes were great. The complimentary German chocolate cake for my birthday was a really nice touch. We will definitely be back.

Made a reservation and came with fiancé and friend. Didn't have any issues finding parking. They have a big parking lot and it's shared with lots of other businesses. Parking area looked busy in general though. Inside of the restaurant is beautiful and has a nice ambiance. A sweet young lady was our server; she was very attentive. Food: Bone marrow bruschetta: love anything bone marrow! I like that they put it on top of the bread and let it soak. My fiancé prefers when it's served on the bone but he still enjoyed every bite. Pork chop: my friend ordered this and let us try a piece. It was sooo good! I generally don't order pork chops, but kind of wish I had. Magic chicken thighs: cooked perfectly. I wasn't too crazy about the sauce though. The burger: good burger but nothing magical. Cocktails: enjoyed!

I've always had a great experience here! Food is consistently good, and bartender My makes one of the most underrated martinis in Dallas!

We usually don't travel this far into East Dallas to eat, but some of the reviews for Goldie's made it look really good. We were not disappointed! The service was really great, and the food was delicious. We sat in the front dining room near the bar, and it looked like there was more seating in the back. The ambience is very nice and accommodating. Casual but slightly upscale. The menu is sizable, and they have a number of craft cocktails. We will be back.

Absolutely blown away by our experience at Goldie's! The food was out of this world. We started with the moules and frites, and let me just say, I never knew mussels could taste this good! I thought I wasn't a fan, but I just hadn't had them prepared the right way until now. I nearly tipped the bowl to get every last drop of that incredible broth. For dinner, we went with the branzino--unreal! And the Mac n Cheese? Phenomenal. Creamy with just the right kick of spice. We finished our meal with a slice of German chocolate cake made by the maître d', a delightful personal touch that really made the evening! The ambiance was perfect for date night--moody, sultry, and intimate. And a huge shoutout to Katie, our server, who was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. She helped us navigate their impressive natural wine list, which had a fantastic selection. I genuinely dreamed about the food last night and am already counting down the days until we can go back!

A first time visitor on a Saturday night with friends! A great spot for a group of people, going as a couple or large group. (Definitely recommend making a reservation!) As others have described, it is a more intimate restaurant for the Lake Highlands area. (Speakeasy/dark/moody) I am not sure how it will do for this area, but I'm glad we tried it! The food was delicious, the recommendations made were great and overall I would recommend for others as a date night spot. Want to come again to try new things, but be prepared to pay a high tab!

We made reservations and came in at opening time on Wednesday, August 7 at 4 PM. It was our first time to visit the building as Goldie's. Ashton was our server, and the restaurant was really pretty. We sat on the patio where we had plenty of room and were able to talk and hear each other. We mainly stuck with appetizers and salad this time around. I tried the gimlet and it was very, very refreshing. I stuck with martinis after that, as did my hubby. The tuna Taki was a beautiful presentation and quite delicious. Each item we got after that, recommended by Ashton, was fantastic. It was all quite a treat! We had great conversations with Ashton before it got busy, and each server was very kind and worked hard. We really appreciated having a neighborhood high-end restaurant to treat ourselves to now and again. Thanks to all, including the chef and cooks as everything was fantastic!

My new favorite restaurant/bar! Everything here was thought out perfectly. From the menu to the drinks to the setup. We had an old fashioned which was delicious. The ceviche was to die for. The perfect balance of flavors. Then for the main course we had the chicken with yams and a side of potatoes! The sauce for the yams and the chicken was DELICIOUS! We will absolutely be back!

Great addition to the neighborhood. Fantastic service, awesome cocktails and excellent dishes. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Great bar, comfy dining room and large temperature controlled patio. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. One note, they do not take reservations between 6:30p-8:30p as that is saved for walk-ins. You can email them for specific reservation options, like we did.

Love this place for happy hour $10 burger, $10 fries, $10 glass of wine per person. Looks like a great place for a romantic evening. Service was really quick and the bartender and I broke out into song together!

I had the pleasure of visiting this place on Saturday on a referral from one of my good friends. When I arrived to the place, I was very pleasantly surprised on the decor and the way the restaurant was set up. Arrived for my reservation 30 minutes early so I can get a drink and the bar was busy, but the bartender still made time to find me and get me a drink. Since this was my first time, I stopped a few people and asked them how the food was and they said it was excellent, and the staff was always so courteous and kind and Even answered a few questions I had about the menu before I sat down. The food was amazing. Me and my friends had a sample of just about everything and everything taste wonderful. I highly recommend this place. It has fantastic food and the price point is amazing. I will be going back.

What a lovely treasure in Lake Highlands! The inside of the restaurant is reminiscent of an upscale speakeasy and the patio seating is warm and inviting. The service was outstanding. The menu is small, which is good because it was difficult to make a choice. We enjoyed the bone marrow bruschetta, so rich and decadent. The red snapper was fresh and the magic chicken thighs were amazing. The wine menu is small but well appointed and I enjoyed the Ponyboy Gimlet (shishito pepper? Yes, please)! We will definitely be back!

This place hits all the right notes. The food, fantastic. The service, top notch. Really like what they did with the building. You can tell that it was thoughtfully designed. This was an amazing spot for date night. The ambiance, food, & drinks are great. However, what really steals the show is the service. The service is top notch. The server was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. We will definitely be back many more times.

Lake Highlands needed this!!! Food is amazing -- the chicken dish was unreal! Texas red snapper with quinoa was amazing, mac & cheese was delicious and their version of the aperol spritz was perfect. Pretty loud but would still give it a 10/10!

Food is good and service as well. Choices are a tad limited for main dishes. For that kind of prices 400 bucks + for 4 you expect no flaw. Chef , everything is WAY too salty and I mean to the point where it kills all flavors ! Yes way too salty for restaurant pretending to be way up there quality wise

I went by myself two weeks ago when I had no power at my house, Goldie's was running off of a generator ! I sat at the bar and was greeted immediately by the two very nice bartenders. The burger and fries were great and I loved the atmosphere.

Randomly found this place on Yelp, I'm guessing it's fairly new. Awesome restaurant. Wonderful staff, food, menu, interior, vibe. Definitely check this place out. Will be going back.

The place looks like a speakeasy on the inside and makes it feel intimate. I tried Della's cocktail and added the Tito's vodka. It was fantastic and tasted like a blueberry martini. The ceviche and bone marrow bruschetta were to die for!! The coconut shrimp salad with the Chile sauce salad dressing was just a wonderful blending of flavors and textures. The filet was cooked perfectly and the au poivre (sp) sauce was delectable. There is only one dessert which is a deconstructed banana split with flambés bananas and chocolate dipped nilla wafers. Two thumbs up and you will thoroughly enjoy.

A nice addition to the neighborhood, good option for a date night, birthday or anniversary. Loved the atmosphere, although the front room where you walk in is extremely noisy. Thankfully we were seated in the side room and it was quieter. Service was great and food was good! I had the cucumber salad, hubs had the wedge. Both delish. I had the magic chicken thighs and probably wouldn't get them again as they were a bit dry. My husband liked his New York strip! We will definitely return to try other dishes!

A little pricey, food was good we went on a weekday and it was our first time so we'd probably want go on the weekend for a date night. The service was great.

Incredibly nice service. Even better food. They don't take reservations from 6:30-8:30 to accommodate neighborhood walk ins. That right there points to a down to earth goodness that's basically impossible to find in Dallas. The place is cozy, a little small so plan ahead if you don't do a late reso. Cucumber salad, hummus, chicken thighs, pork chop, ceviche, bucatini, steak, seafood tower, wedge, mussels. All of them SO. GOOD. You won't be disappointed. Ask for JC, he's a pro!

Our sever was so cute and sweet. The vibes were amazing, and the food was really good! We liked the strip steak and the zucchini pasta. The crab mac and cheese was mediocre, probably the only thing we wouldn't order again. But the not seafood tower was excellent. Overall such a fun night-out restaurant, with good food and great service.
