I walked along the street and the little restaurant was empty. I already had something else to eat but I did not want to waste the chance to try some dishes so I had a small bowl of their famous soup and one other small dish. It was delicious and afterwards I was really very full. The lady was very nice to me.

came here for some hearty beef soup and we got lucky! they usually sell out fast, so come earlier! we had the beef soup and beef liver. the liver was amazing!!! would highly recommend coming back for the liver and the stir fry <3

The fried rice was perfectly cooked, stir fry beef and cabbage did seem to have mostly cabbage which was kind of interesting, and the soup is flavourful. Overall pretty decent

This is a traditional Taiwanese Tainan cuisine with beef soup being the signature. All are their dishes focused on beef. In fact, all the meat they served are killed the morning of and never frozen so it's as fresh as possible (government certified). Their meats are tender and the soup is lightly seasoned so you can still taste a bit of the fresh beef. I believe this might used to be on Michelin's Bib Gourmand but it's no longer. Don't be fooled by the line outside, it's not worth queuing for. I do not recommend.

We ordered beef soup, rice and beef with sesame oil. The soup is very refreshing. Rice is not too sticky but chewy. We queued about 10 minutes. Still acceptable. The quality of beef is above standard. Texture wise is still quite tender.

Super delicious famous Tainan beef soup~ We probably didn't need to wake up at 5am to try it (weren't too many customers there yet), but it was surely nourishing! The broth feels so cleansing and perfect for sick days. The beef too is very QQ的, with a lovely bouncy texture, and perfectly paired with the sweet ginger dipping sauce. Yum!

Very crowded on New Year's holiday. Beef soup was okay. The rice was chewy (I love it). The beef with cabbage was better than beef soup! Fast service.

Soup is clear on arrival,perhaps 1/3 of meat almost rear. But with the hot soup, it basically is still cooking when served. Soup turns slight cloudy as meat cooks through. What an aesthetic experience!!! Food served in heavy chinaware, and to see the pink meat change color. I thought the soup base has subtle corn flavour to it, very natural sweetness. Total 110NT. I had this for breakfast.
