"Astoria recently scored a classy Turkish restaurant perfect for date nights that won’t empty your wallet. The traditional menu features a variety of doughy pides, pillowy manti, juicy kofte and kebabs, plus a range of mezze that you can easily make a meal out of. Save room for the homemade baklava and gooey knafeh." - devorahlevtov

Came here for brunch and was blown away by the excellent service, beautiful ambiance (even from choice of cups and tablecloth combos) and a delicious unique breakfast! That pastrami bureka was the most delicious lightly fried rolls of deliciousness with a generous helping of eggs on the side. Can’t recommend this place enough for actual good food that both looks and tastes good!

Google
The best Turkish restaurant in NYC! Everything was absolutely delicious — so fresh and full of flavor. The presentation is beautiful, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The owner is amazing and makes you feel right at home. You can tell he truly cares about the food and the guests. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable Turkish dining experience in New York!

Decent spot on the UES for Turkish food. Decent but nothing crazy. Ambiance was nice, they had resin countertops and walls, with deep blue furnishings. Service was good as well. We got two salads, calamari and branzino. Salads were nice and fresh, seafood was pretty good. Drinks were flavorful and delicious.

My family members residing in NYC decided to treat us to some Turkish food. I wasn't very happy to hear this as Turkish food is mainly a (hit or) miss. As we entered, we were attended to immediately and provided a table. I noticed there ambiance and decor was top notch, not common for any Turkish kind of restaurant. Once we were advised on the specials for the evening, we ordered and the food was served in due time. The beef ribs and chicken kebabs were amazing. One of the best of tasted world wide, far better than even eating at a top notch Turkish (as in if you were in Turkey) restaurant. The cost for these meals were very high though, so be be prepared to pay if you're going in a large group. Only thing annoyed me here was the staff cleaning up while even though there isn't much space around the table.

The mixed grills were great. The lamb cigar rolls were really flavorful and great. Everything we ordered was great cant go wrong with any dish

Our friends took us out to dinner on a Saturday night, and the food was absolutely delicious—we loved everything we ordered. The service was also fantastic. Our only complaint was the noise from multiple birthday celebrations. There were three or four that night, with waitstaff making loud music and singing at each one. Thankfully, we were seated outside.

Located on the Upper East Side this local favorite doesn’t disappoint. Oversized portions come out from the kitchen piping hot cooked to perfection. I have been back and can’t wait to bring more friends. They go all out if it’s your birthday sparklers and singing. Super fun to watch. Beautiful interiors.

Update 2025: finally went back for dinner service and they did not disappoint. We had the lamb chops (note to self: get 'medium', not medium rare as that was too rare for me!) which were delicious. Very different vibes for dinner service vs. lunch. If you order their meat set/special, they make it a show with sparkles and carve it up for you at the table. Could be a great place to have a birthday dinner with 6~8 people. From 2023: Went for their lunch special, where you get a 3 course meal for under $30. Lamb was so delicious 😋. We will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
la turka has the best lamb rolls and lamb raviolis on the upper East side. this goes to show you, that a staple Turkish restaurant on the upper east side gets a 3.5 lol. You can't rely on these ratings. I've been to 4 1/2 stars and they cannot compete with this restaurant . maybe welp needs to update their algo. clowns. good job la turka! keep it up! This place is always packed, especially after their remodeling a few years ago. The lighting is incredible. It creates the mood to eat and drink.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday at 1:30pm with a pulsd deal for brunch. We requested outdoor seating but then decided to sit inside to avoid the sun and they have a great seating area with fully open windows on a warm day so it was perfect. My friend and I got a mimosa and Bellini to drink and pancakes and rib eye steak and eggs. The pancakes do come with the syrup already on them so if you would like to control the amount, I would ask when ordering. The rib eye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed it and the side of fruit was great. I am very appreciative of the fact that though we did 60-minute bottomless, they never rushed my friend and I after the 60 minutes was up and allowed us to sit and chat for as long as we did. It was a lovely brunch.

Yelp
Came here for lunch yesterday during restaurant week. There were 4 of us. The service was impeccable. Attentive without being overbearing. One person didn't care for an appetizer he ordered and the waiter brought him a different one with no questions asked. The portions were quite generous for all the 4 courses and we felt the price was very reasonable. Some delicious flavors too!

Yelp
When in Manhattans UES and the Levant cravings set-in, I stop by the Sultans of flavor and hospitality at A La Turka. Pan fired liver is one of my favs as is the iskendar diner dish (prob spelled it wrong). I also love the stewed eggplant dish that includes a flavorful tomato and onion mix. In the spring it's the outdoor tables for me. I've been going there since they've opened and only wish that they open a West Palm Beach outpost following the trend set by other NYC notables.

Yelp
The restaurant treats customers well. All menu choices satisfy the taste buds. This restaurant stands above others. The team delivered rapid responses with respectful treatment. I know I'll return to try more dishes.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with a friend recently on a very cold night, and we were so happy that the ambience was nice and cozy and warm inside. I was not particularly amazed by the food, but am not sure if it had to do with what I ordered. We each tried the same dish, so I can't speak for the rest of the food on the menu. We got the chicken adana, and I didn't love the consistency of it; I felt it was a little bit rubbery. The side of rice that it came with was pretty bland and lacked some flavor. The environment was more lively than we expected, but we thought that was a fun surprise! They seem to go all out for people's birthdays, so if you like to be serenaded, this will be a fun experience for you!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food!!! Went here for restaurant week (weekday lunch) and it was really amazing. The restaurant itself is beautiful, lots of people even for lunch time. The service was great, though a bit on the slower side for the area we were sitting at. I felt that the server maybe forgot about us on multiple occasions but the food really made a great impact. Would certainly dine here again. For first course we got hummus with very tasty bread and eggplant shakshuka-- probably the best I've ever had. For second course we chose lamb shank which also had mashed potatoes and eggplant which is different than most restaurants and it really made a difference. The grilled eggplant really made the dish more complete. I really would go back to this place just for the lamb shank. The other entree we got was chicken shish kebab and it was comparable to other restaurants. And lastly for desert we got fig with walnut and it was very tasty. It was the very first time I've ever had it and was hooked. We also got baklava. I really would love to go back to this place again, maybe sometime at night because the restaurant looks very nicely decorated with lights.

Yelp
Whenever I am in the Upper East Side, I always stop by A La Turka for lunch or dinner and my overall experience with the food, drinks and service keeps getting better. The staff here is very kind and attentive as always. They greet me and they have a full understanding of the menu so they recommended a glass of Isabey Sauvignon Blanc which is a very nice and refreshing Turkish White Wine. It went very well with the Salmon and appetizer. Great food, great drinks, great service and great atmosphere. Which is why I highly recommend A La Turka if you're in the area.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience. The service was poor and the food mediocre. We were accidentally served the wrong dish, which we only realized after a while. When we brought it up, the manager was unexpectedly rude. He did offer to comp the dish, but then took the plate away, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. At that point, we didn't feel like waiting for our actual order and just asked for the check. We left feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied. We definitely won't be returning.

Yelp
Had a great time celebrating my friend's birthday here! Started off with some good and aromatic bread that went super well with the Mezze Trio. It had tasty babaganoush, Burian, and hummus. I think the burian was my favorite with its creaminess and red peppers. The eggplant shakshuka was different from the shakshukas I've had in the past; their version is less saucy and really just eggplant and tomatoes. All of the apps were well seasoned, but portion sizes were smaller than expected. For mains, the adana kehab (lamb) was very tender and so was the chicken adana. They both had similar spices which I enjoyed and it comes with pickled veggies, chopped dill/green onions, and rice. The only off-putting thing was that ask all guests to not share entrees. While I understand the logistical and financial implications behind this, I think a nicer wording would achieve the same goal. Staff were nice and timing of food was appropriate for a weekday night (not too busy but I had a large party). The decor is cute with a dim environment and an amber marble bar top. For birthdays you can even ask them to place a candle on a dessert (must order) and they will sing/play music for you!

Yelp
My boyfriend got the stuffed chicken, I got the chicken Kebob and we shared the falafel appetizer and chocolate pudding + tiramisu for dessert. Every item was soo delicious! One star because the sav blanc was not to liking.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant several times. All times I am always impressed with delicious food, service and ambiance. Alaturka was renovated and the ambiance is amazing. My last visit, I ordered mummara. It came with delicious buttery bread OMG. It was so delicious and I can't wait to have it again. As a hot appetizer, I ordered lahmacun. I am generally picky about the ingredients of lahmacun. Alaturka is the best. They served 2 pieces. I thought to myself I can keep one later but of course it was so delicious and I could not hold it and I ate all . As an entrée I ordered shaslik. They marinated the steak and it was extremely full of flavor. I couldn't stop thinking about it and I can't wait to go there again.

Yelp
Established in 1995, this restaurant is as old as I am--and I see why they're still in business. Food is delicious, portions are ample, menu offers a lot of choices, to satisfy picky eaters like me. Was happy with everything we tried. $9 lentil soup was hearty and satisfying on a cold Saturday, as snow was covering the city. $24 kusbabi pide [Turkish pizza with meat] was scrumptious: not heavy, crispy dough, flavorful tomato sauce, and perfectly sweet/savory chopped meat. $32 lamb shank was the king of the meal! Huge portion [great for sharing and taking leftovers home] and bursting with flavor. Meat was delicate and delicious. Shank was wrapped in the most delicate roasted eggplant, which elevated this dish. Vegetables in tomato sauce went really well with the complementary Turkish bread--mop up all those juices! Would order this dish again and again. Pleasant environment--pretty stone columns with thematic illumination provide a romantic vibe at night. You feel like you're dinning at a proper restaurant. Friendly and courteous staff. Quick service. Would return to sample more menu items.

Yelp
My cousin and I went for Sunday brunch. Food was delicious. I enjoyed the lamb shish kabob served with rice, picked red cabbage, tomatoes and a little salad. My cousin had the Kafte Kabob along with side compliments. We both agreed the food was delicious. The atmosphere and dining area was very comfortable and pleasant. Conversation was easy to have without too much background noise. The downside of this visit which cost the star in the review; service was a little subpar. 1st it took awhile to have our order taken, then it took awhile for the food to come despite the restaurant not being completely full and finally the was no "mid meal " follow up. The classic question by the server after you started eating. I appreciate that little bit of effort when dining. Unfortunately this time it was missed. Because of the delicious food we would go back if in the neighborhood and desiring Middle Eastern fare.

Yelp
A La Turka was just alright - probably closer to 3.5 stars but giving it 4 stars feels like a reach. Overall, this place is a good bottomless brunch option if you're not too concerned about food quality. We got the shakshuka, mezze & eggs, spanakopita, and an egg and sausage dish. The shakshuka was far and away the best, all 3 other dishes fell sort of flat. The mezze and eggs was sort of a dip dish with eggs on the side which was odd - they also were not made to request (not a big deal for us - asked for poached and got fried, but the egg whites were undercooked.) The other egg dish was overcooked, and the spanakopita was fine but basic. Unfortunately the egg dishes were reminiscent of a Denny's. Highlights: *Bottomless for $25 per person is a decent deal, and the "build your own mimosa" approach is smart - easier for the server and lets you control the strength *Our server was great; personable and attentive, easy 5 stars there *Ambiance was good, not mindblowing Their take on an espresso martini was okay, very sweet but pretty balanced. I wouldn't order it again but it was worth one.

Yelp
We've eaten here four times in the past few months...and we travel from Queens to do so! I believe I said in my first review that we enjoyed this food more than similar dishes we had at some very fine restaurants in Istanbul. It is an energized yet relaxing place. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. Most importantly, the food is fantastic. Muhammara is a unique appetizer and a Turkish table staple, it is excellent, as is the fluffy bread you can spread it on. The Turkish spinach is another must have appetizer. Other uniquely Turkish dishes that are amazingly authentic at A La Turka are the manti and, of course, the various kabobs. We've tried nearly all the lamb staples, and enjoyed them all, but also go for the more gourmet dishes such as the lamb shank. It was fall off the bone incredible.

Yelp
Lovely brunch spot. Good food at a reasonable price, good service by a friendly staff.

Yelp
Food was fresh & so great to share. I highly recommend coming in with a group. They have enclosed outdoor seating & a beautiful indoor space. In the summer, they remove the windows & it's lovely. Our service experience was strange - we waited a long time to order & we had a couple odd encounters. I'll assume it they were jokes or the tone just didn't land. Always a good option for mezze!

Yelp
Located in the center of the Upper East side, A La Turka is a hidden gastronomic treasure. You enter and are immediately taken to a world of delectable flavors and kind friendliness. Soft lighting, colorful décor, and the calming sounds of Turkish music fill the room as you walk in, creating an atmosphere that combines traditional Turkish charm and modern elegance. A La Turka's menu showcases the best of Turkish food preparations. Made with the finest ingredients and genuine spices, every meal is a work of art. The mezze platter is a great place to start your culinary adventure because it comes with a variety of flavor-filled mini plates like hummus, babaganoush, and stuffed grape leaves. Your taste buds are enticed by the tastes as they dance across your palate, leaving you wanting more. Savor the delicious lamb kebabs or the delicate chicken adana, which are served with fluffy rice pilaf and grilled veggies, as the main course. There are also lots of vegetarian options that highlight the richness of Turkish cuisine, such as the velvety eggplant moussaka or the robust vegetable stew. A La Turka's delicious sweets are a must-try after every dinner. Every sweet delicacy, from the delicate rice pudding flavored with aromatic spices to the thick and velvety baklava, is the ideal way to round off your meal. But the flawless service at A La Turka is what really makes it stand out. The staff is friendly and well-informed; they will take genuine pleasure in showing you around the menu and making sure that every part of your dining experience is above and above your expectations. Turkey's bright flavors come to life at A La Turka, a culinary haven. Whether you're looking for a special occasion to celebrate with friends and family or a romantic supper for two, A La Turka guarantees an amazing dining experience that will entice you to return.

Yelp
Food was good and the restaurant is really pretty but won't go back because of the service and chaotic atmosphere. I'm sharing my experience as an autistic adult with sensory processing disorder so that others like me have a better idea of what to expect. I'm also vegetarian. My husband eats meat and lived in Turkey for a short time when he was a teenage. He really loves Turkish food and was excited to try this restaurant. We had a 7:30 Saturday night reservation and when we arrived (on time), the hostess asked if the bar would be ok. We said we'd prefer a table and were seated at a two-top in the center of the restaurant. Definitely felt weird that she tried to seat us at the bar when we had a reservation for a table. The tables were super packed in and cramped which is not surprising considering it's the city and they are understandably trying to fit as many people as possible but just be aware of this. If I had known, I might have requested a table near the window or a wall. We were at the end of a row of tables and the servers frequently hovered right on top of us when they weren't rushing past us and banging into each other. The tables next to us looked like they'd be impossible to get up from without asking those around you to move. We received water right away but it took 10 minutes for a server to come over. He told us about the specials and then disappeared without taking our drink orders! The table next to us received and practically finished their entire entrees before someone (the manager maybe) noticed that we hadn't ordered yet and got another server to take our orders. We sat down at 7:30 and weren't approached to order drinks or food until 7:50/55. After that, our new server was thankfully very attentive and the service was a lot better. I have no idea what happened to the other guy. The place is so, so, so LOUD. The acoustics are horrible. I couldn't hear my husband and he couldn't hear me so we basically sat in silence for the whole meal. Plus they had some birthday celebrations and turned the already loud music all the way up to sing. I'm fine with places singing to guests but this was over the top and obnoxious. Don't expect to go here and have a nice, relaxing meal with good conversation. Especially if you have auditory processing issues. There is only one vegetarian entree on the menu but plenty of the appetizers are vegetarian. The food was good. My husband enjoyed it. I wish they had more Turkish wines by the glass. Overall, I left overstimulated and really disappointed by the experience. There are many other Turkish restaurants in the city and sadly, we will not be returning to this one.

Yelp
A La Turka has a great neighborhood location, efficient service and good food. It's a nice spot to grab a bite to eat.

Yelp
Second time here and it was definitely better than last time. Since last time, A La Turka went through a renovation. The plates they use & the glasses they use has gone through a revamp. The food has remained the same. The food is nothing special but hits the spot when you're coming for bottomless brunch (60 mins of mimosas, bellinis, bloody marys, and red/white sangria). As a group, we got the bellinis, mimosas, and both sangrias. The sangrias are strong - the fruits (apples and oranges) absorbed all the alcohol and you can tell they did not skimp. Food-wise, we got the burger, sujuk flatbread, shakshuka, and sujuk omelette. The food was okay - nothing special. However, the complimentary bread was delicious - warm and toasty.

Yelp
Good food, drinks, desserts. Unfortunately, difficult to access with a rollator or wheelchair because ause two steps up from street. But managers will help, move tables indoors for access. We had a good meal, food all fresh and tasty.

Yelp
I was with my family for the first time, we just walk in the place first thing I noticed the table cloth was dirty, anyway the waiter who gave us the table was very nice and professional he took our order, food was great, my only complain is the gratuity I tipped 20 percent but they were charging 20 percent including sales tax with the food cost, adding extra dollars to the bill as per New York State law Voluntary tips not suppose to have tax. To all the customers beware of this scam. I hope the owner should look into this. Pandemic is over stop ripping good customers. We are always looking to tip the person who take good care of us.

Susan S.

Yelp
Very average food, seemingly overpriced for the portion of 5 bite size pieces of chicken ( kebab) with a side of rice and small side of slaw.

Yelp
Ambiance (4/5): the inside is dimly lit and very jampacked. There is an outdoor dining area that is enclosed with heat lamps. Personally preferred it since it is less loud, more intimate and spacious. Service (4/5): on a Saturday evening, there was no space indoors, since all the tables were reserved. However, we were immediately seated in their outdoor dining area, which was only 20% full. The service was okay in the outdoor dining area. Food (/5): Table bread (5/5): Wow! Their bread was extremely soft and had a nice seasoning to it. It was the star out of all the appetizers! Feta Cigars (4/5): it came in six pieces and loved the crunch from the pastry outer layer! While it tasted pretty good, I probs wouldn't get it again. Zucchini Fritters (4/5): The fritters were extremely flavorful, and I loved the garlic yogurt sauce. Additionally, there was another tomato-based sauce that also went well with the fritters. I would order this dish again. Chicken Yogurt Kabob (4/5): the chicken pieces were extremely tender and slightly flavored from its marinade. The portion size is enough to share between two, and looks like there is a lot more because it was covered in a sauce over a bed of soaked bread pieces, peppers and onion.

Yelp
Over the years this restaurant keeps getting better. Tonight we enjoyed the homemade bread that was provided. Nicely browned and tasty with a mild garlic flavor. The à la Turka salad was also quite good. Several eggplant appetizers proved to be good choices. Finely chopped fresh vegetables with some feta cheese. The mixed grill entrée was generous with a large serving of delicious meats. The lamb shank dish was excellent with the meat extremely tender. Service was exceptional. The waiter provided a couple of updates on when our entrées would be arriving. Seating is comfortable and the location is quite good, a couple of blocks from the 72nd St. Q train stop.

Yelp
Delicious food. Order the special bread. The lamb shoulder special was delicious. The chicken kebab and filet mignon kebab were cooked perfectly. All the starters and salads were so great. Fantastic staff. Beautiful space. Great evening.

Yelp
If you want to have a fun time on a Thursday night with delicious food, live music, and belly dancing A La Turka is the place to go to! Every Thursday starting around 8 pm they have live music that continues with a belly dancing performance, amazing Turkish singers, and Turkish music. The staff here are really friendly and super attentive and the food is delicious. It's a great place to come on a date, with friends or even family. Decided to come here on a Thursday night with some friends visiting from out of town. We had no idea that there would be live music and belly dancing but we were so glad to find out how fun this place is on a Thursday night. We ordered the cheese rolls, the lamb rolls, and the mini lahmachun for our appetizer and were so glad we tried all three because each item was so flavorful and delicious and great portion sizes as well. For our entree we shared the mixed grill platter that is big enough for 2-3 people and come with rice and salad. Loved the charcoal flavor and marination of the meats and how tender and juicy they were. For dessert we shared the kunefe which I'm still dreaming about. It was divine! Overall, my friends and I had an amazing time and I can't wait to come back here again!

Yelp
The food is excellent staff not so much. We made a reservation for 7:00 and showed up on time. After being seated we were told we could only stay an hour. There was a large party coming in. The restaurant has options in a case like this. They could seat us somewhere else, call us ahead of time and ask us if we wanted to come in early or cancel. We made it in open table so they had my phone #. Something it on us when we get there We told them that it wasn't acceptable, 11/2 hrs was minimum. They took our orders, served us and then after the mains were done the water came and said we were done. We told him we were not and wanted dessert. They moved us to another table. No napkins , silverware or water. We weren't the only table this was done to and they said they weren't coming back. I live on 81st street and there r at least 10 restaurants on my way home that will treat me better

Yelp
A La Turka is a very spacious and authentic Turkish restaurant. They hve live music with belly dancing on certain nights as well. The meal started with several appetizers (hummus, babaganoush, feta cigars). Out of these, the hummus was the best, but everything was fresh and delicious. Our main entree was a mix of the grilled meats. For me, the juiciest were the chicken kebab and kofte kebab. Like with the appetizers, the food tested very fresh and the meat was very well seasoned. This is a solid place to have good quality Turkish food.

Yelp
4.5/5 star experience! I came here a on rainy Saturday morning with my friend. We had a reservation at 11:15 am but can early and were seated immediately. I think they just opened so we were the only ones in the restaurant. I bought a voucher on Pulsd, which was $39 for bottomless brunch for 2 people. You get 60 min of bottomless drink and each person can choose an entree up to $21. When you make your reservation, be sure to tell them you have a Pulsd voucher. What we ordered: - Bellini's - Eggs Benedict (comes with side salad and fries) - Shakshouka Everything was amazing!! The food was super flavorful. I had a shakshouka a week prior and it was not very flavorful. Our sever, Yunus, was great! He was attentive and always filled our water and filled our Bellinis to the top. I'd definitely come back!

John c.

Yelp
The location where our table was in a corner and one that wasn't as given as quick of attention as the other tables that were close to the bar. This led to longer waits for our food and drinks. Every little thing.Service and food was good but the time was a problem.

Yelp
We had dinner with my Judge and Lawyer friend to celebrate her birthday and I could say amazing dinner ! These food best food Mediterranean and hospitality is beyond ! Ali was serving us with great hospitality and service ! I will recommend everyone!!!!

Yelp
Having been a customer for several years, I didn't hesitate to make a reservation for 12/17/24 for 2 friends & myself. The reservation was made for 5:45pm, but was changed to 2 people at 5:00 pm because one person required an emergency dental appointment. We arrived on time, ordered drinks and an array of small plates instead of entrees. At 6pm, an hour after being seated and while we were eating, a waiter asked if we wanted to see the dessert board. We told him that we were not interested. Within 10 minutes of refusing dessert and while still eating the same waiter told us that he needed the table and asked that we leave. Upon leaving the restaurant, I issued a complaint to the hostess, who shrugged her shoulders, apologized, and said that they were busy. I informed the hostess that I was an existing customer, but would never return. We hadn't even had the opportunity to complete what we had ordered or order another drink.

Yelp
Met friends here who were actually willing to Uber it from Hell's Kitchen. They were delighted they did. We shared a couple of appetizers and then the meatlovers plate and chicken adana. Everything was tender and well spiced. Artichokes were excellent. Lovely decor, nice sized tables, servers were very attentive. I weirdly was the only one with a salad fork, but not a big deal. Made for a conversation at the table. Wine selection was also very good. I am going back for that coconut and rum cocktail that sounded excellent. Can't remember the name but it was creative. :)

$38 for a mezze platter and you send 1 piece of pita bread. Shame on you. Once I called and the rude hostess said if I wanted more pita bread she was going to charge me $9.00 Shame on you.

Yelp
The food is delicious. It was restaurant week. We had really yummy appetizers, a lentil soup, creamy wonderful hummus with tasty bread and a refreshing shepherd salad. We had the Branzino was delicious, the Salmon and lamb kebab. The baklava was perfect. Great birthday celebration spot, truly are festive. The service started great but just dwindled from there. It was spotty to say the least. Our server forgot about our table, was off folding napkins at empty tables such a downer when you have great chef with well prepared food and that happens. We asked the server for water , it never came. The check took forever. The dessert took a long time to arrive. Given that the restaurant wasn't busy, that's unfortunate. Happy ? No not really.

Yelp
Was visiting a friend on the UES and we came in here for dinner. Its a nice little place on the corner of 74th and 2nd. Service was amazing. We were seated immediately and told the waitress, that we hadn't seen each other in a few months and wanted to catch up. To start we ordered 2 glasses of wine and a falafel appetizer to start.. The falafel was excellent. Came 5 pieces to the order. It was crisp and full of flavor and served with tahini for dipping. For the main course we shared Stuffed Cabbage. 3 large cabbage rolls stuffed with lamb in a sweet tomato sauce and served with garlic yogurt. Big enough to share. The food was very good and the ambience was nice. It was quiet and my friend and I were able to sit, enjoy and talk. Thank you for a nice evening!

Yelp
We had a reservation where we specifically denoted we wanted to sit inside. When we arrived we were told they had a problem with their online system and when asked when an inside table would be available we were led to an outside table. It was 46 degrees outside. The heater did not work , we were handed blankets and it took two hours + to complete our meal. My legs are still numb. It was miserable and I can't comment on the taste of the food because we were so chilled. The right way to handle this when noticing this overbooking would be to call the patrons to let them know. Instead

Yelp
My friends and I went here for a bottomless brunch and it was incredible! I ordered shakshuka and it was one of the most well spiced dishes I've had. We got a great deal for bottomless there on Pulsd, which I definitely recommend. We sat in their outdoor covered seating which was very nice. Our waiter was very attentive!

Yelp
The service was ok, we had to keep asking for water and the restaurant was only about 25-30% full. The food was average. The 3 of us had the 4 course $30 lunch menu. The servings are very small. Came with salad, appetizer, main and a thumb size dessert. The salad was just tomato, cucumber and feta in a sauce plate, no dressing just salt. The appetizers were not good. Chicken shiskabob was a bit dry, salmon unseasoned and stuffed cabbage was mushy and bland. The best part of the meal was the bread basket, warm and fresh. The total with 2 iced teas was $117. I don't suggest the lunch special.

Yelp
Great food and attentive service. Live music and dancer on a Tuesday night was a bonus!
