A Mano Wine

One of the very best experiences we have had in Puglia—or anywhere, really—must be our visit to A Mano Winery’s headquarters in the charming town of Noci. From the very first greeting to our last sip of wine, every aspect of this curated wine tasting reflects the passion, professionalism and gracious warmth of its owners and their exceptional staff. The tasting experience, which can be accompanied by delicious local treats designed to showcase the depth and flavor of A Mano’s wines, is so much more than an in-depth tour through the winery’s extensive lines. We always learn something new about this region’s culture, its winemaking traditions, new approaches and innovations and the ways each individual varietal is influenced by its terroir. Best of all, we learn how A Mano’s proprietors’ individual stories and collective history have shaped the development of the label—a story filled with heart and soul that adds so much to the finished wines. There is something for everyone in this tasting experience. Obviously, the wines are superb and are available for purchase on the spot. We found we could even have A Mano ship our purchased wines back to the U.S. for us, which was a delightful surprise. Again, the professionalism here is first rate, but the warmth and joy exhibited by A Mano’s lovely owners and staff made our time there truly extraordinary.

I bought the Susumaniello rosé 'natural' tonight, in my opinion there is nothing natural about it...I believe this wine did not ferment spontaneously but in a thermocontrolled way, plus it must have added cultured yeasts that give the wine a totally trivial taste similar to the rest of the industrial rosés from Puglia. calling this wine 'natural' (the word 'natural' is not protected) is an insult to the real producers of natural wine and is fooling consumers.

Misleading pictures. I found this winery through the search and was fooled by all of the vines photos, so I didn’t look at the map much. It is not even a bar, looks like a private home. No idea about the wine but the pictures of the Google location should be reconsidered.

My friends and I did a tasting at A Mano and thoroughly enjoyed it. Vito walked us through the wines and explained more about the region and gave us great local recommendations for food, drinks, and things to do. He was incredibly helpful. We had a great time and enjoyed all of the wines! Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely great wine tasting experience! Extremely knowledgeable and Mark and his team are taking very good care with little Italian snacks and love and care. IT’S A MUST-SEE when you are in south of Italy!! We know A Mano and the lovely people, working here and realizing beautiful wine art, for a long time already! My Father started the cooperation years ago and now I have the privilege to be accepted as a partner of an inspiring partnership! We had an extraordinary warm welcoming from Elvezia and Vito in the center of Noci who happily and generously organized a fantastic tasting with some food and local specialties for me and even my 4 friends, that I was able to bring! We had a unique, delicious tasting with special wines, some new alternative (organic) creations and of course typical apulian ones that have a unique style and fingerprint of creative and passionate producers! The organization for this beautiful event was flexible, spontaneous and we even got a tour to the extraordinary vineyards from our personal guide Vito (brand manager), who is very accommodating and communicative! For me having seen many vineyards this one was special and an unforgettable experience and my friends were amazed and were able to enjoy a once in a lifetime event as tourists! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed and I would recommend this to absolutely everyone!
