A Ming Zhu Xing (Baoan Road)

"Don’t be surprised if you see a queue even before this shop’s opening at 5pm – after all, its cellophane noodle soup with pork offal is one of the must-try Tainan delicacies for many travellers. Chef A Ming still cooks the offal like his father did almost 70 years ago – in a bain-marie to prevent overcooking. As well as the signature pork heart soup, try pork ribs or duck feet and wings braised in a garlicky herbal stock." - Michelin Inspector

One of the best meals we enjoyed in Taiwan!! Favorites were pig heart noodles and the garlic pig knuckles, though the broth for the spare rib soup was amazing. There wasn’t a line when we went but it would have been well worth any wait.

IG: foodie_foxx Come on guys really, everyone, everyday All the time I go there, people are lining up, 😮‍💨 🤯. Why why why !!! 😅 What a place to run the tradition and culture of Taiwanese local food from generations after generation. Why not this place is recognized by the Michelin?? Seats inside and outside, countable tables long lines, 4-5 people working there, servicing at a very slow pace 😜. Opened from 17.00- 00.00 but still watch out for the yellow sign board which might be changed from now and then. Coming to the menu, very simple yet delicate dishes! Pig heart rice noodles - 55NTD$ for a very generous amount tasty- very distinctive taste where the boss cuts the heart in a shape which makes the thick and ripped heart to just dissolve like a jelly in your mouth Pork liver with sesame oil - 60$ NTD only recommended to people who love the smell of sesame, oh boy oh boy it’s very strong! Very delicate with a pink texture, also with a generous amount of cut ginger in the bowl. Garlic pork knuckles: drizzled with soy and salt sauce, as a foreigner I normally eat the barbecued version of the knuckle but this was very interesting, oh the medical and herbal soup was a treat to the mouth. Overall if you have the patience to stand for at least 30 minutes then it’s okay and the eating time doesn’t take more than 10 minutes so decide for yourself 😉 Bon appetite fellows Peace ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

Pig’s Heart Glass Noodles, Stir fried kidney. I have a soft spot for glass noodles and when it comes with pig organs and even has a Michelin bid gourmand nod, you can count on me to be there. Their stir fry kidneys were so fresh and awesome, better than the heart that I will gladly substitute the organs. A must visit!

A must go place if you love pig heart and kidneys. If you never tried before, please try it here I guarantee you will fall in love with it. The heart and the kidney is just so tender and tasty to the point that 2 min after I left the joint I felt the need to return already. Definitely worth a try if you are in Tainan and happened to be during their opening hour (they open late)

Pig Heart is nice! The liver is very good too but the mix version with soup is not nice. The queue is exceptionally Long which is very horrible since there is only a few tables. Suggest that you come earlier to queue first. This place is not for you to linger - eat and move on. Wear light clothes!

The best 豬心 豬肝 you can get in Taiwan. The overall taste is so good, the line up is worth it! 阿明 is also super nice and try to remember all your order! Just come in line up and eat!

Out of expectations freshness and well handling of pork innards. Garlic mince pork throttle & pig liver is a must order in my opinion.
