The Newest Restaurants In Chicago - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Ragadan is branching out of falafel, burgers, and baklava milkshakes with the opening of their sister spot, A Pizza Pie, just a block away in Uptown. As you can probably guess, this casual spot has pizza—“medium crust” to be specific—with toppings like sausage and pepperoni, chorizo and pineapple, and BBQ chicken." - john ringor, nick allen

Where To Eat In Uptown - Chicago - The Infatuation

"For tasty slices in Uptown, head to A Pizza Pie. This small counter-service pizzeria comes from the Ragadan team, and they make hand-tossed pies reminiscent of chain pizza from places named after spotted tiles, but significantly better. Their medium-thick crusts have a great char and fluffiness, and come with all sorts of delicious curated topping combinations, like pepperoni, sausage, and giardiniera, or chorizo, jalapeño, and pineapple. Chances are you’ll see a bunch of locals or delivery drivers taking whole pies to go, but if you’re just looking for a spontaneous slice, there are a few seats available." - adrian kane, courtney sprewer, veda kilaru, john ringor

Excellent pizza, excellent service. The team here also heads up Ragadan down the street. I can't recommend both places enough. Family feel, friendly attitudes, great food, good price.

This place is such an amazing addition to the neighborhood. We’ve had both their red sauce and white sauce pizzas. I can absolutely say it that both were phenomenal. The ingredients are so fresh, and the price is very good as well. I definitely recommend stopping by to order takeout to get the best deal. They can have the pizza ready for you very quickly.

Great pizza place by the Ragadan owners (which is also a great place to eat). The pizza is unique- for those who like ranch with their pizza, their ranch is SO good. Also, the salad is the most real & flavorful salad I’ve gotten at a quick service place that specializes in something different.

Delicious pizza, not like anything I’ve had in Chicago! Service was excellent. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Excellent all the way around! Today was their official opening and I can brag about the entire experience all day. Unfortunately I didn't grab the person working the front desk name, but he was an absolute gem. You can tell he loves what he does and makes you crave their pizza before you even try it. And the pizza. was. AMAZING! Absolutely my type of pizza. I ordered pepperoni slices for my colleagues and I and we all enjoyed them! Good use of the sauces, great crust and the cheese was high quality. In short: get used to seeing my face guys, I'll be there all the time!

Ordered a 16” Cheese Pizza. Pizza was well done and crispy with good undercarriage. Balanced ratio of ingredients (crust to cheese to sauce) BlockClub Chicago wrote a article about the pizza saying it’s “medium-thick”. I disagree. It’s thin crust. Or maybe thin-medium? Nahh, it’s thin crust. There’s nothing thick about this pizza. It’s like a New York style pizza. As you can see in the picture, it looks great and it was great.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza when i meant to order a sausage and the owner kindly offered to make me a new pizza even though it was my mistake. Pizza came out quickly and was perfectly cooked—crust just the right amount of crispy. i’ll definitely come back!

First time at this new pizza place and I got the #1 Uptown and I’m loving it! Really really great tasting pizza! Crust reminds me of a balance between those classic NY Port Authority joints and Artisan Chicago. Lots of pizza flavors to choose from… I’ll definitely be back!
