The staff was friendly and welcoming. The chopped salad was so delicious!! Even if you're not a salad person like myself, definitely try it. You won’t regret it! The Hawaiian pizza was great too! Will definitely be coming back!

The owners of Ragadan opened a pizza place! Heck yessss! I had the uptown which was delicious and the ranch (which they make in house) took it to another level. The chopped salad was delicious, fresh and full of yummy mix ins. Can’t wait to try their wings. Also the service was so friendly and warm.

Ordered a 16” Cheese Pizza. Pizza was well done and crispy with good undercarriage. Balanced ratio of ingredients (crust to cheese to sauce) BlockClub Chicago wrote a article about the pizza saying it’s “medium-thick”. I disagree. It’s thin crust. Or maybe thin-medium? Nahh, it’s thin crust. There’s nothing thick about this pizza. It’s like a New York style pizza. As you can see in the picture, it looks great and it was great. 2nd visit: Ordered a 10” Cheese Pizza. Just as good.

Place here is so great. They are friendly and the pizza here is hand made NYC style. They got slices 10 inch and 16 inch sizes. Gluten free crust too. They are cashless so keep that in mind. They also got a build your own option too. Do wish the inside had more color but overall a very nice place for a quick lunch

Forgot to take a picture of the whole pizza because of how good it was/looked. Best pizza in Chicago and I’m saying this as a lifelong Chicagoan. We had the uptown and the toppings were genius and perfectly cooked. The sauce is on the sweeter side which I prefer and the spicy giardiniera compliments it so well. The bake on the actual pizza perfect and crunchy without being burnt at the bottom.

Officially my go-to-spot for pizza in Uptown. Pizza was made to order and generous with the toppings. Definitely a 10/10.

We came here with our young kids and it really hit the spot. The pizza was good fast-food style pizza. Don't expect burrata and prosciutto. The kale salad was an unexpected star of the dinner. The dressing and herb mix in the salad is so fresh and delicious. Salad at pizza places can sometimes be soggy and gross, but this kale salad was fire. With tip and appetizers, our family of 4 ate for under $50, and the food was fast and fresh. Great spot!

Tried A Pizza Pie for the first time and it was great. We ordered two smaller pizzas and they were both flavorful and delicious. The gentleman working the counter was very friendly. When I arrived to pick up the order, he informed me that he had made an ingredient mistake on one pizza. But the good news what that he remade it the correct way, and he was giving me the extra pizza that was made by mistake. Truly a class act. A Pizza Pie is owned and run by the same gentleman who owns Ragadan just a couple of doors south on Broadway. Everything at that restaurant is delicious and it's well-managed, so it's no surprise that A Pizza Pie is the same. It's a welcome addition to our Uptown/Buena Park neighborhood!

At a time when prices are getting out of control, and NY style pizza is hitting close to $30 a pie, a place like A Pizza Pie is a very welcome respite. Taste wise, it's on par with places like Pizza Lobo, maybe just a touch below Pizza Amelia (though with far better hours). This is equivalent to some really great late night pizza back home in New Jersey, hitting all the spots without trying to be too much more. Quality cheese and pretty good sauce, my main note is about the dough and crust. The dough could definitely use a little salt in the seasoning, it's pretty bland, and the cook on the outer crust is somewhat uneven - some slices have a perfect crust that would double as a great breadstick, and others are a bit too charred. But, it's pretty good overall and is being offered at extremely reasonable prices. I really admire what the owner is doing, and am looking forward to being a semi-regular customer and trying their original mediterranean restaurant down the block.

The pizza tastes like the best form of fast food chain pizza you can possibly make. It has the conveyer belt crust, yet they somehow make it perfectly crunchy. The cheese and sauce are bursting with a great familiar flavor. The whole time I was eating it I kept thinking I'd had it before. Occasionally I'll have a craving for fast food pizza like a Papa John's or something instead of a nice local place. This place satisfies both the local hankering as well as the chain pizza crave all in one go. It's like magic. Edit: ordered again on back to back nights and the consistency is there. I'm trying to be healthy, stop making me fat. Yum.

ok so I saw an Instagram ad about this place and had to try it out asap. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. this is my favorite style of pizza and now I can get it LOCAL?!? My dream come true. Management here is so customer-focused and it is so refreshing. Unfortunately, the delivery driver for my order decided to steal my pizza. After calling and working with A Pizza Pie staff, they promptly prepared a new one for me to pick up free of charge AND they gave me a free salad (was delicious. Will always add this on to our orders now). I was really sad and hangry and A Pizza Pie really went out of their way to make the experience positive even though it was totally out of their control. For this encounter alone, A Pizza Pie has a loyal customer out of me now. Try their food, you won't regret it. THANK YOU A PIZZA PIE

A delightful surprise! I was hungry and indecisive after finding nothing appealing for dinner at the grocery store. Defeated, I was about to walk into Taco Bell for a quesadilla of shame when I walked past this place. I've walked past before, I'm aware that it's by the Ragadan (which I like) people, and I've heard good things but this was the first time I actually stopped in. I ordered a small buffalo chicken pizza for takeout. It was $16. When I got home I was blown away by how good the crust was. This is seriously delicious pizza. It was well balanced and cheesy, and the crust is incredible. Foldable, chewy yet crisp in the right places. 10/10 crust. The inside is unassuming but the counter service was friendly. My only complaint is that the price for the small is too high. A 10 inch individual at $16 is too steep in my opinion. I wish I had gotten the 16 inch pizza because it's $7 more and 2.5x the size. For that reason I think this is a good value, just don't get the 10 inch size. I'll be back!

Average. I was excited to try given all the positive reviews but this wasnt anything special. Not exceptionally flavorful.

Ordered a pizza and side wings on a whim as my friend and I walked back from the lake to my place. We were both craving pizza and I remembered this place recently opened and figured I'd give it a try. We opted for the Uptown special pizza as I thought giardiniera peppers would be a nice add since I've never tried it on pizza before. We also ordered a 4 piece of buffalo wings and a side ranch. We got there a little bit earlier and the guy working the register and kitchen was super friendly however let us know it was just a few more minutes before everything was ready. Perfect! We got our items and walked home super excited to eat. As we dug into the food, overall we liked everything, however I will say I didn't love the giardiniera on my pizza as much as I thought. Because of the intense vinegary and saltiness of it, it was overwhelming in my opinion. Besides that though, the crust was excellent and the cheese, red tomato sauce and pepperonis were all delicious and made a great pizza. The wings themselves were above average, but I wouldn't necessarily order them from here again. I think it's really the pizza that will be the star of the show here. I'd definitely come back to try a different pie next time.

Best pizza in Uptown now that Milly's left. The Halal Pepperoni is amazing and their crust has a distinctive crust and bottom texture. High quality ingredients just like their sister restaurant Ragadan down the street that is also delicious.

Stop, drop, and roll! this place is straight fire!! No but seriously, come try this spot.Thin crust pizza done right. What really sets them apart? The cheese. Hands down the best pizza I've had in the area, and I've pretty much eaten my way through every place within a mile radius. I think I met the owner--super friendly and accommodating. I asked for half pepperoni + pineapple, half margherita (which isn't even on the menu), and he made it happen anyway. Legend. Also, gold star from my girlfriend!margherita is the only pizza she'll willingly digest, so that's saying something. Also go in and sit and eat!! Charming spot.

Had a plain, cheese pizza delivered. It was really good, and showed up early, and super hot. I would compare it to Crushed in Ravenswood. It maybe could have used just a touch more sauce, but all in all it was a pizza I would order again.

Ordered from A Pizza Place because their first restaurant, Ragadan, is one of my favorites! I was not disappointed by the pizza! In fact, it's my new favorite! Forest, the place itself is spotless! The staff is friendly and polite. Now for the pizza...it was fresh and delicious! You can order a slice or a whole pizza! You can even order a gluten-free crust! Lots of delicious choices for different toppings! Also.. the price for a pizza was really nice! I was able to order TWO pizzas for the price of one from the well-known pizza place down the street! I used lots of exclamation points because I really loved this pizza for all sorts of reasons and I will be back for more!

Very happy with my pizza. Made quickly. Decent price. It's not the NY style I prefer, but it's thin crust without being a cracker. The dough has a nice bread taste to it, not bland, so no complaints. Very happy to see this place open up. They have an apple soda I've never seen before and were super friendly. 5 stars.

We had high hopes of A Pizza Pie, since Ragadan, Danny's sister restaurant a few doors down, serves super-tasty, fresh Middle Eastern food in a pristine, welcoming place. The pizza was delicious, perfect crust, chewy, yet not too thick. Sauce added the right tang and exact right amount of cheese. The price was exceptionally reasonable. Bye-bye big pizza chains. A Pizza Pie is our go-to place from now on

Delicious pizza by the slice, great Cesar salad with a nice parm to lettuce ratio, and the person running the place (maybe the owner??) was super nice!! Will def be back!

Pizza is very personal for most folks in Chicago ( as well as other cities) and with a multitude of family owned places you tend to find the one you like and it's your go to place. So trying something new takes me outside my comfort zone. SO GLAD I DID and gave A Pizza Pie a chance. Great crust has nice chew to it and sauce is very good. Also they don't disappoint with toppings. Definitely worth it.

Just stopped in for a slice. This is one of the few places in the area to get a decent slice of pizza. They offer pepperoni sausage and cheese slices. Nice crust. Preferred the sausage over the pepperoni. Good addition to the area as choices are lacking

Staff here is friendly, time to cook is fast, price is really good for a pizza in the city, and the pizza itself was super super good this place it's doing it's own thing with the dough and crust but I respect and enjoy it a lot. Will be coming back for sure!

I'm thrilled to have this in Uptown! We got the Mushroom and Onion pizza and it's excellent. The crust is perfectly chewy, and the cheese and toppings are delicious. I can't wait to come back and try some more pizzas here.
