The Best Korean Restaurants In The San Gabriel Valley - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"With the closure of Beverly Soon Tofu, visions of smooth, freshly-curdled tofu may be dancing through your head (they often do mine). In that case, head to this beloved restaurant in San Gabriel just 20 minutes from DTLA, where you’ll dig into what may become your favorite bowl of soon tofu in LA. Make sure to try one of the hearty combination plates, where proteins like kalbi and spicy pork are served side-by-side with tofu soups. And also order the fried yellow croaker - the crispy skin and flaky flesh make me feel like I’m on a dock by the Yellow Sea, frying up a fresh catch next to an old fisherman, which sounds like a welcome vacation right about now." - dakota kim

The 8 Best Naengmyeon Restaurants In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The food at A Ri Rang Tofu House in San Gabriel is all about restraint. Their bibim naengmyeon is just sweet enough without going over the top, and even the Korean mu radish that’s been mandolined into thin three-inch-long slices thrives by not going overboard with vinegar. Julienned cucumber, half a boiled egg, and some beef brisket complete the package. The banchan selection here is also incredible: salads of broccoli, seaweed, mung bean sprouts, and Korean potato, along with sliced cucumber kimchi, odeng, and bright red cabbage kimchi that’s surprisingly mild and perfect for swirling into your broth." - dakota kim

A Ri Rang Tofu House

Google
A Ri Rang is a consistent, family-friendly location for legitimate delicious chigae / soon tofu soups. I specifically enjoyed the BBQ Galbi on the hot griddle, which featured 12 pieces for $36. Though it was a bit pricey, it was delicious and I enjoyed the caramelized onions underneath. My parents enjoyed their tofu mushroom soup ($17), which was well-prepared with vegetarian broth (per their needs). The dolsot bibimbap ($22) was also served piping hot, and they enjoyed it with beef and egg on the side (for me). Standout banchan includes the broccoli, the kimchi, and the namul, and were generously provided!

Google
Large menu with very good and authentic Korean food. Food was very tasty and served hot and quickly. I was very impressed with everything and would not hesitate to return. Banchan dishes were also very good and the kimchi was excellent!

Google
First time in LA and we opted for this instead of all-you-can-eat kbbq. The food was delicious and the quality was great. The complimentary sides were plentiful. Everyone got what they wanted and was more than satisfied. Prices are reasonable for the serving sizes (a bang for our buck). Our waiter was attentive to our needs and offered suggestions to make our dining more enjoyable. We didn't make reservations but got seated almost immediately.

Google
I had no complaints about this place. When you ask for extra spicy dumpling tofu soup, be prepared. It is SPICY! Which I love.... but regret later. 🤣 🍑🔥 I love that they give you a whole pitcher of barley tea and we didn't need to ask for banchan refills. The servers were attentive and brought it automatically. I also appreciate that if you get the tofu combo with the meat, they don't give you a smaller tofu portion like some other places I know. This place never disappoints.

Google
Tofu soups are delicious! We’ve tried a few of them already. The yellow croaker is good and the bulgogi is great. You’re given plenty of side dishes to go with your food. The servers aren’t friendly but they’re fast and efficient.

I have dined at this establishment on several occasions. It is the nearest Korean restaurant, and while the food quality is excellent, weekend crowds are anticipated. Service, however, requires improvement; attentiveness is lacking even during less busy lunch periods. Although complimentary side dishes are refillable, proactive replenishment is inconsistent, a common issue among restaurants. Enhanced service would undoubtedly lead to increased customer satisfaction, higher tips, and repeat business.

Google
Had the Mushroom Tofu hot pot(med spicy) with bulgogi. The spicy level was perfect for me. Just enough kick for someone who enjoys spice flavor but wants to avoid sweating… Loved that they kept asking if we wanted refills on any of our side pickle dishes. Service was great and pricing is fair. Give em a try!

Google
Food: Very Tasty with option choice of spicy. The flavors are excellent. Lots of side dishes Portions: Good size/Same size as any Tofu house Price: A bit in the high side, but fair for Korean food Service: Service are fast and responsive. Seems like there's always a waiter/waitress around. Atmosphere: simple, all table and single chair style, no booths. Place is clean Con: No Brown or Purple rice. They do not serve any other kind of rice except for white. I come to this place a lot when my friends. This place has a pretty good flavor for their tofu soups. They actually have more side dish than some other tofu house I've been to. There are many options that is printed on the menu also double as your placemat. Brilliant, all the Asian restaurant does that, when I place my could be an advertisement. Tofu soup can be ordered in combination or by itself. When ordering a combination, the tofu soup is the same size as an individual order. Some restaurants have a smaller size tofu soup as their combination. The service is quite fast, it's rare now restaurant has this many service people in house As the wages are getting high. There's always someone around to check your order and any other requirements you need. The atmosphere is okay, that place looks clean and looks very open. They use just regular rectangular tables an individual chairs, no booths. I actually like it this way better than the booths.

Yelp
This is an example of a place you don't know you will miss until you can't have it. Since I'm mostly in the Riverside area, I realized when coming back and eating here that I can't easily get tofu stew that arrives boiling hot as it does here. The tofu stews where I get them don't come in stone pots and are generally warm (not hot enough to soft-cook an egg). In addition, the side dishes are still amazing and freshly made. The nostalgia of seeing the same workers and the same customer service of fast and good food and willing to refill your side dishes always just ends your meal with pleasant satisfaction. As much as the prices may have gone up since COVID, it is still a place I would go to enjoy these classics that I can't enjoy at a buffet or cheaper locations.

Yelp
Great selection of Korean food. Excellent service as well. The banchan was generous and so good. We will be coming back!

Yelp
The flavor of the banchan and soup is lacking now. Used to be better. Prices gone up, portions gone down.

Yelp
Food- we ordered combo C2- Bulgogi and Tofu soup. Meat is tender with good flavor. Seafood tofu soup is watery and it is lacking flavor- 3 out of 5. Service- got here around 7 pm dinner time and it was busy and waited for 20 mins to get a table. Once we sat down, the staff were fast and they took our orders and served us dishes we ordered. They also refilled banchan dishes as we requested. Typical busy Korean restaurant but lacking flavors. They have special offer of 1 can of soda with check-in to Yelp.

Yelp
Good food? Decent service? Decent ambiance? Come eat here! Looks like a hole in the wall from outside but honestly the do not disappoint. My wife n I just love their tofu soup, bulgogi plate on a sizzling plate, and all the side dishes of veggies for free! Glass noodles and even rice cakes! All from decent to yum!

Wonderful food and fair price amazing would recommend, favorite spot many banchan service was great. Ambiance was good.

Yelp
Raining day! Time for hotpot. Hahaha. Still great food and service. So hungry by looking at the menu.

Yelp
First off, I got seated very fast, and there were plenty of seats. From the many times I have come, I have yet to have to wait for a table. Staff are very fast and nice as well. However, I ordered a beef and seafood tofu soup, and was a little disappointed to find that I only got two shrimps and a single clam. There was beef in the soup, but I just expected a little more seafood.

Yelp
Back at it again at one of our favorite KBBQ + tofu soup spots--and they did not disappoint. We arrived around 7:15pm and were seated immediately--always a win. The dining room was lively but never chaotic, the kind of buzz that lets you know people are here for good food. Within minutes, our server came by to take our order, and shortly after, the banchan parade began. Special shoutout to Shirley, our favorite server ever. As soon as she saw us, she smiled and said, "Haven't seen you guys in a while!" Honestly, I was surprised--and impressed--she remembered us! That kind of personal touch keeps us coming back. She's always super attentive and quick with banchan refills (which we definitely don't hold back on). We ordered our usual lineup: Spicy chicken: This time it was chopped a bit finer than usual and came with a saucier finish--definitely a noticeable shift in texture and flavor profile. It leaned slightly sweeter, but still brought the heat. Bulgogi: Tender, marinated just right, and grilled to perfection. The char added a nice smokiness without overpowering the meat's natural flavor. Beef & seafood soon tofu: Comfort in a bubbling bowl. Briny from the seafood, rich from the beef, and perfectly balanced with that signature spicy broth. Always hits the spot. The meal was consistent, satisfying, and packed with flavor. Even with the crowd, service was fast and seamless--clearly a well-run kitchen and floor staff. Always impressed by the food, but it's the combination of great service, cozy ambiance, and little moments like Shirley remembering us that elevate the whole experience. Already thinking about what to order next time.

Yelp
Banchan and kimchi tofu soup were standouts! The galbi and spicy pork were also solid. The service was very attentive and they were quick to refill the banchan

Yelp
Delicious!!! If you're looking for a tofu house in the SGV similar to BCD tofu house this is the spot. I was so happy to be seated immediately and the servers are very quick and attentive. Upon sitting down there is a pitcher of iced barley tea waiting for you (free!) and they bring out a large variety of banchan to accompany your main dish. They refill the banchan as much as you please and they are not skimpy! The flavor of the tofu soup was good but I will ask for it spicy next time, I got medium heat because I wasn't sure how hot it would be at this restaurant. The restaurant was nice, clean and modern. There is parking in the back underground in case the ground level parking is full. Check this place out!

Yelp
This spot is always so yummy! From your Korean soups, rice , ribs, etc. This spot offers many dishes along with complementary iced tea that is placed at your table. My favorites are the kimchi tofu soup, dumplings, bibimpab, & the ramyun. The banchan are full of flavor, seasonings, & variety. The staff is friendly but can be a bit inpatient if you seem hesitant to order. The ambiance is family style seating with booths or tables with shared seating. The parking lot is ample & is located in the same plaza. There are other locations in the plaza for a sweet treat after. Overall, this place will always hit the spot!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is legit for those tofu house cravings! Service is great, always in standby for your needs. Need a beer, raise your hand! Ambiance is what you'd expect for a tofu house if you're familiar with it, lots of people sitting around at tables enjoying delicious kimchi, beef and tofu soup! Oh and beer, soju and the usual appetizers.

Yelp
This is our favorite, go to, Korean restaurant, which is close to home and reasonable. The food and service is excellent and consistent! Any Korean restaurant with good food, Is my hubby's happy place! This is our happy place!!! Located in the shopping mall, plenty of parking.

Yelp
Walking in, the place feels clean, casual, comfy -- not overly fancy, but welcoming. Soon Tofu (tofu soup): The tofu is soft, the broth has a good kick with the flavors coming through without being under/overwhelming. It hit the spot Bulgogi dish: Good, tender, and great when paired with a tofu soup Bibim Naeng Myun (spicy cold buckwheat noodles): Delicious and refreshing on a hot day. Not too spicy either Banchan (side dishes): Generous portion, decent variety. The seaweed and broccoli dishes were a bit underwhelming, but not bad. Don't be afraid to ask for refills, they are very generous with it~ All in all, a good place to hit up for those tofu soup cravings ツ

Yelp
Whenever I feel a bit under the weather, I'd get their ginseng chicken soup (samgyetang). It's a whole young chicken simmered in a rich, slow cooked in broth, often stuffed with rice, garlic, jujube & ginkgo nuts. The chicken is tender and juicy, broth is hearty & flavorful. They also serve a solid spread of banchan, and they're always generous with the portions, which I appreciate! I've been coming here since 2019, and they've always been consistent with both flavor and quality. Service is always great. It's one of my go-to korean restaurants in this area
google avatar

Emmelynn G.

Yelp
The banchan was so good. Good variety, good flavor, and generous portions! We also got soondubu and bibimnangmyeon. I am usually not a cold noodle fan but this was so good. I would get it again. Staff was friendly and service was fast. We got here at 3pm on Saturday and n there were still some tables filled. I would definitely recommend to friends and I would come back to try more things in the menu. :)
google avatar

Joe L.

Yelp
Came here specifically for the Ginseng Chicken Soup as I was recovering from a cold. The chicken itself is a little bland and some parts were dry, but I didn't mind as I was more concerned about the nutrients I was getting. However, they do provide salt on the side if you prefer to add more flavor to either the soup or chicken. One nice surprise is that within the chicken, there is hot sticky rice, pieces of ginger and ginseng. Overall, the mild flavor and steam from the soup, chicken and the contents within it definitely hit the spot. Additionally, they provide a generous amount of banchan and will even ask if you want refills. Very friendly staff. Would come back to try their soondubu combo next time.

Yelp
Best tofu soup in the San Gabriel area! Tofu soup combo is a must try. So is seafood pancake- crispy and thick full of flavor. Eight banchan dishes all delicious. Service is quick. Make sure you flag down servers if you need anything. Parking is limited. There is Covered underground parking in the back.

Irene C.

Yelp
It's very delicious and good for lunch & dinner! Happy gathering! Love it. Nice service and can refill side dishes when you want.

Yelp
This is the best Korean restaurant in the San Gabriel valley. Everything was delicious and the Korean cold noodles were fantastic. Would definitely comeback. Please support this business.

Yelp
Loved it. I had a craving for tofu soup and this really hit the spot. Inside is simple with plenty of seating. It's a good place for small groups. A nice simple menu of Korean dishes and tofu soup. The combos are where it's at though. I got the spicy grilled chicken and clam tofu soup combo. So good! The soup had plenty of clams and tofu. I got medium spice, it was a good level for my taste. The banchan was good too. It was a great filling meal, perfect for this colder weather. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Service was good. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the shopping center lot.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Let me tell you--this is my absolute favorite place to get tofu soup! It can get pretty loud when it's busy, so it's not the best spot if you're trying to have a conversation. Most of the staff are friendly. There's parking downstairs, and I've never had an issue finding a spot. Highly recommend! Sides: They come with so many sides, and you can get free refills. I especially love the bean sprouts, broccoli, and spicy cucumber. Every table also comes with tea (hot or cold). Soup: I always get the beef tofu soup, mild--and it's perfect. The broth is super flavorful and comes with a generous amount of meat and tofu. You can choose to have an egg added or leave it out (they'll ask when you order). The rice is served in a stone pot, which is great, but they tend to bring it out too early. By the time the soup arrives, the rice is kind of warm.
google avatar

Bailey L.

Yelp
Great food, lot of choices, came here for dinner and easy parking and no wait this time, will Come back again.
google avatar

Mindy Z.

Yelp
The food came quick and was hot and delicious. This especially hit the spot since it was a cold day and we were starving upon arrival. Once seated, we were served iced barley tea and sides, which we munched on while waiting for our order. They are very generous with the free side dishes. The server was really helpful, checking in on us to see if we wanted more sides. The barley tea was good too but since it was iced, would've enjoyed it more during a hotter day. Maybe we should have asked for hot tea, but I didn't think about it at the time. I ordered the bibimbap + tofu soup combo (C7). My friend ordered the sizzling galbi + tofu soup (C1). You can select your spice level for the tofu soup. You can also choose the type of tofu soup you want for when you order a combo. We enjoyed our food! Outside is a bit hard to spot since it's nestled in the corner, but once inside, the atmosphere was spacious, clean, and welcoming. We went on a weekend around 2 PM so it wasn't too crowded. However, it's on the pricier side due to weekend pricing. Parking was plentiful. Tip: You can split the bill by using separate credit cards based on what you order and they will give you two receipts!
google avatar

Jan H.

Yelp
The service is always exceptional! Sides were refilled quickly and staff were all attentive. Food came out sizzling hot, flavorful and just in time to satisfy my hunger. The unlimited sides here are fresh, I love the broccoli and kimchi here so much that I order extras to go. Prices are still reasonable and economical. Plenty of parking in back & underground garage. The restaurant is usually busy but it's spacious enough to accommodate large groups too.
google avatar

Kristine L.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday around 530pm and there was no wait thankfully. Parking is in a share plaza with lots of other restaurants and shops, there is underground parking available as well. We each ordered our own tofu soup and decided to share some other items including seafood pancake, Rabokki and a plate of Galbi. So I honestly just think it's really overpriced for what you get. The quality is decent but we spent over $50/pp although we did have some leftovers. The Galbi was definitely a paltry portion for like $35 which is insane. I know flanken short ribs aren't cheap but jeez. The seafood pancake was also way too thick and I wish they sold a smaller portion for cheaper instead of being forced to order a huge one for $26. The Rabokki was good but it was way more onion than tteok-bokki and ramen. Their banchans were good but when we asked for extra they never came back with any. So service was also lacking. It's clean and pretty spacious so that was nice but honestly I just don't really think it's worth it imo for the price only.
google avatar

Darren L.

Yelp
Amazing Korean food. We had a party of 7 and first to arrive. They set up a table for us all and two of us were seated even though it stated your entire party must be here to be seated. It was 2:30 pm though. I ordered the combo lunch galbi and dumpling tofu soup. The galbi was marinated to perfection. Flavors popped and very tender. The star of the show was the tofu soup. This was outstanding. The tofu was top quality and the soup was superb. I added rice into the soup making the meal memorable.. You can order to your own spice level. I can't take to much heat so I ordered mild, but next time I'll order medium. This place is awesome. I'll be back.
google avatar

Marie P.

Yelp
Amazing service and always friendly. Food is good and the sides are tasty It does it get busy around certain times but they are quick on service The vibe is great for friends and families

Yelp
Love this place. Go to tofu soup spot. Great service. Nice clean setting. Food and side dishes are on point.

Yelp
On the west there's BCD, on the east there's A Ri Rang when it comes to soondubu! They give significantly less banchans when u order from grubhub, but the soups are always so good during takeout. One of my favorite go-to order is the beef and seafood tofu soup (10/10) with mild-moderate spice depending on what I am feeling that day. Definitely a comfort meal! Always like their lunch specials bc it's so worth it.
google avatar

Crystal A.

Yelp
Good and tasty Korean tofu restaurant in the area. The lunch time specials have a good price, but I felt like dinner was a little bit pricier than what I'm used to. Nevertheless the food was good and I liked they had hot barely tea since it was cold outside. The combo included a wide array of side dishes too. The service was relatively quick. It was a busy dinner time during a Wednesday night. The restaurant was clean and lively.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
With so many tofu soup places out there, I can't vouch for this one. Everything was shockingly sweet, which seems to be a trend I've noticed in many Korean restaurants lately. Why?? And don't even get me started on the cheese--I don't get the obsession. (For context, I'm Korean.) One cool aspect is that the wait staff speak both Korean and Chinese, but unfortunately, that's where the talent seems to stop. The banchan (side dishes) looked so promising in the pictures--offering rarer items like potato salad, acorn jelly, and seaweed knots. But in reality, the flavors were a letdown. The potato salad was so sweet it tasted like ice cream--just plain weird. The tofu soup and spicy pork were okay, but everything else leaned heavily on the sickly sweet side. On top of that, their prices are a few dollars higher than other tofu soup houses, which makes it even less appealing. Definitely not worth it for me. I won't be returning.
google avatar

Harrison W.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 This tofu house is my go to spot in the SGV area. I ordered my usual beef bulgogi combo with medium spicy seafood tofu, along with the fried yellow croaker combo. The side dishes were awesome, and the service was great. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place.
google avatar

Braxton H.

Yelp
A Ri Rang Tofu House was one of my favorite restaurants to go to when I was young, so I decided to give it a try after years! I had to wait a while, but the queue was very efficient, and they gave me a number to check in. I waited around 20-30 minutes and was seated quickly. Service was super friendly and I ordered the beef and seafood tofu soup with the spicy pork bulgogi. Compared to BCD Tofu House, a natural Korean staple, the portions are less, but the flavor is consistent and strong. The kimchi, broccoli, and other side dishes complimented well with the bulgogi, and the seasoning was well-detailed and had depth. The rice portions were fair, and the tofu was big and chunky--something that may be disliked by some but definitely enjoyed by me! Big juicy chunks of tofu, followed by pieces of shrimp, clam, and beef. Super warm and comforting. I would definitely come again if I'm in the area. I'm just not sure if I'm willing to come over compared to BCD, though. It's a great alternative!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here on a rainy LA night. My mom wanted something comforting so she said she wanted tofu soup. So we came here for dinner. We got the combination C1. Galbi and Tofu Soup, C7. Bibimbap and Tofu Soup, fish and tofu combo, S15. Gyoza, and S9. Seafood Pancake. Everything came out pretty good. Our favorites were that Seafood pancake, Bibimbap in the Stone pot, and the seafood beef tofu soup. I would skip the Gyoza. Not sure if they change owners since the last time we've been here which is a few years ago, but I feel like the taste is a little different. Their service is OK. They are banchan is still better than most places. If you decide to go here, make sure you go early because there will be a line outside.
google avatar

Yelp
A local favorite, A Ri Rang has been around for quite a while. It's a great go-to spot, service is exceptional despite busy times. Your banchan is always refilled (&sometimes without having to ask!!!). The food never disappoints here. I like that they continue to serve their rice in stone pots, (for what I know, many in the bay area don't do that anymore). My family of 4 likes to get the combo meals for the best variety to share. There's also always leftovers!
google avatar

Yelp
This is probably my favorite Korean tofu soup spot in the area. I've been here several times and it's a great experience every time. This restaurant is located in a plaza with ample parking on the ground and underground level, though beware because the ramp to get underground is steep. This restaurant does get busy, but the wait usually isn't bad. I always get seated immediately or have to wait max 15 minutes. I usually get their combo option where you can choose a dish and a tofu soup. Bulgogi (5/5): Really good and flavorful dish. Cooked and marinated well, and pairs great with rice or by itself. Definitely recommend trying this! Beef tofu soup (5/5): I got the medium spicy level and it was perfect. Had a small kick but not overpowering. There's a lot of tofu and beef, and the soup comes with a raw egg cracked inside which I really like. You also get a variety of banchan like kimchi, fish cake, mashed potato, etc. most of which I like! Plus their cold barley tea is good. The restaurant is pretty big with plenty of seating indoors. Great spot to check out if you are craving tofu soup. There's also some dessert spots in the same plaza if you want to continue your food journey afterward, though I usually get really full after eating here.

Yelp
Two people came to the restaurant for dinner at noon. There was no preferential package. The single-order cowboy bone and tender tofu pot. There are many and delicious side dishes. It is a shop that I often visit.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! Their service in person is always so attentive and straightforward -- you can tell they really care about their customers. I've also ordered takeout several times, and I'm always impressed with how carefully everything is packed. No leaks, no spills -- even the soups arrive perfectly intact, which is rare! You can tell they take pride in the quality of their packaging and food. The food itself is amazing every single time. My go-to order is the bulgogi beef with the kimchi tofu soup -- such comforting flavors and always consistent. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Rosemead!

Yelp
The tofu soup combos are the best here and they have the best bachan selection! The soup isnt burned or too salty and it comes with alot. The portions are big enough to share with a family and service is always so nice here! My new favorite place for local Korean food. I will say other items are a bit lacking so definitely stick to what they're known for. We have tried the rappoki and the seafood pancake, both were a miss for us. The rappoki didnt have enough noodles and was a bit too soggy. The seafood pancake is super thick and not thin and it has heavy batter.

Yelp
Hours need to be updated. Showed up at 9:30 and half the tables were already closed (chairs on top) while others were eating.... We were told they were closed. Understandable but annoying

Yelp
This is establishment is in the same plaza where I got my sca massage. The banchan is on point. A nice variety and it's fresh. The kimchi is good hate when kimchi is not fermented enough. I ordered the lunch combo C8 which is the dolsot bibimbap plus tofu soup. You can choose what type of tofu soup you want choices are beef, pork, seafood, seafood, and beef, they even have mushroom tofu soup I went for the oyster tofu soup. The egg already comes in the tofu soup so no need to crack it yourself, which is not a big deal if I did have to. The dol sot has ground beef instead of bulgogi strips which was fine. Fresh veggies with an egg right on top hit the spot. I will come again.

Yelp
Great Korean food. Casual Asian dining experience. A Ri Rang Tofu House is located in the ground floor corner of a two story plaza. The plaza has ample parking on the basement level and even has a few EV charging stations. Service was quick and efficient and we were seated immediately. A quick raise of your hand and the staff attend to your requests just as quick. Our group ordered a 2 mushroom tofu soups, a dolsot (hot stone) bibimbap, and a regular bibimbap. All of it delicious. As standard with Korean restaurants, banchan and hot tea is provided as soon as you sit down. The banchan was some of the best I've had. All of it, from the kimchi to the cucumbers to the fish cakes (and I don't even like fish cakes), all of it, delicious.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty full, but there was no wait. The service is very fast. They have the menu on a mat placed out already. They give you some code iced tea and the side dishes and check to see if you're ready to order within 2 minutes of sitting. The food also comes out really fast. They come out with the free, complementary unlimited side dishes and then the rice in a pot. I love the crispy rice. Then they come out with the meats that you may have ordered and finally it will be the tofu soups. The beef bone, tofu soup, and it was really good. It was very warm and cosy and had the perfect amount of beef and tofu. it was also very flavorful with an egg cracked inside. We also got the 12 piece galbi that was well cooked and delicious. TLDR - good food, quick service,

Yelp
Genuinely the best soondubu ive ever had in my life. This was so nostalgic. To be honest I thought I hated soondubu but i think i just hate BCD. This place has the best banchan, they serve the rice in the hot stone pot and you KNOW it's gonna be fire when they have the two peas on it. Noorungbap was the perfect texture, they're so on top of refilling banchan (which is BOMB by the way). I got the assorted (beef + seafood) soondubu medium. I usually eat less than 20% of my rice at restaurants but i ate the entire bowl. Everything was fire

Yelp
A Ri Rang has become one of my go-to Korean spots in the SGV area. I've been here many times now, and every friend I've brought along has agreed it's delicious. I'd even say it surpasses BCD Tofu House. On busy evenings (around 7-8 PM on weekends), the longest I've waited was about 25 minutes but some days I've had no wait times. Even on busy days there is always parking available in the underground lot. As soon as you're seated, a generous array of banchan awaits. The spread includes fish cakes, kimchi, spicy cucumbers, bean sprouts, cheongpo-muk (mung bean jelly), broccoli, potato salad, and seaweed salad--quite the selection! You can always ask for banchan refills, and the servers are happy to oblige. They serve warm barley tea in the evenings, but water is also available upon request. A Ri Rang is always bustling with customers of all ages, and the staff are incredibly quick and attentive. My partner and I usually split a combo (soup + side dish) and an additional soup so we can share a side dish together. The rice is served in a hot stone pot with peas, and you can choose to add an egg for extra richness. The soups are customizable in spiciness, ranging from not spicy to extra spicy--my favorite is the seafood and beef soup with medium spice. If you're looking for something comforting, healthy, and satisfying, A Ri Rang is always a solid choice. Highly recommend if you're in the SGV area and can't decide where to eat!

Yelp
I visited thanks to a huge Soondubu craving and it was everything I wanted. I came during the lunch special, so the combo meals were a great deal. I went with the beef tofu soup and bulgogi combo. The place was fairly empty around 2 PM, with just a few tables occupied, but it was still pretty loud since they had music blasting. They start you off with water or hot tea and bring out a generous variety of banchan dishes. I loved that there were so many to try and choose from. They also ask if you'd like an egg cracked into your soup (I said yes, of course). The servers were quick with everything. The food came out fast and was delicious. I always love mixing rice with the soup and banchan. Such an awesome combo in my opinion. I definitely left in a full food coma after both the main course and all those sides. I'll definitely be back the next time a craving hits. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend it.
