The Best Restaurants in Paris, According to a French Food Expert | Eater

"Formerly a blogger and food critic, now-chef Bruno Verjus has a careful eye for the very best seasonal produce from his personal network of suppliers. He uses it to prepare dishes like white asparagus from Alsace, veal sweetbreads with lobster jus, and wild salmon (from the Adour river in southwestern France) in olive oil sabayon. If it’s on the menu, finish up with the signature chocolate tart with caviar. Located in the 12th arrondissement. Vibe check: Verjus likes to interact with guests, who sit on sea-foam green chairs at a counter facing the open kitchen." - Alexander Lobrano

BEST Persian food EVERRRRRR!!!! I cannot recommend this place enough its the taste of home. Staff super friendly like family, and the food is INCREDIBLE and really well priced. They have almost lot of variety in the menu and everything super fresh. Desserts beyond this world

As an Iranian, I was so excited to take my non iranian friend to a Iranian restaurant to try some of our food. Sadly I was really disappointed, the food was not authentic at all. There was not a wide variety of iranian dishes and the dishes that were there weren't tasty. The starters werent bad but there was no proper noon, just some cold bread in a plastic bag. The main courses were honestly pretty disappointing, the qorme sabzi was really sour, there were some random dishes that arent even typically Iranian foods, and the desserts were basic. The doogh was also really watery and lacked any taste. We ended up leaving most of the food and leaving early. To say something positive, the homemade halva is very good and we did enjoy that, that was the only authentic thing i could find and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and its a shame to say these things because the service was fine but honestly, in terms of food, there are so many better Iranian restaurants in Paris so if you are looking for authentic iranian food, i wouldn't recommend this place.

Incredible Iranian buffet. The lady wrote all the explanations about these Iranian culinary specialities so that we could know what we were eating. Everything was delicious. And the staff were great

we went for their dinner buffet. pros: - variety of Persian (Iranian) stews, rice and sweets (but no kebab) - cheap prices - clean and decent persian decoration - nice staff cons: - beans in their ghorme sabzi was hard and not fully cooked. - Almost no meat in their foods - their doogh (yogurt drink) was too salty.

Recommended this place for a rather rare or maybe unique "food tasting" experience of Persian food in an all-you-can-eat buffet setup. A great variety of cold appetizers are offered, as well as warm main dishes and soup (aash) and deserts. Most foods are very delicious. The decor is nice especially the two persian miniature design and the painted calligraphy of Khayam and Hafez poems as well as the photos on the wall from different regions of Iran. On things to improve I won't have much to say other than the missing chelo kabob and the quantity of meat in the different khoreshes. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant which offers a true culinary trip to Iran, through the variety of tastes and thanks to the owner's explanations which accompany your diner and make it more pleasant.
