Yummm! Wow! Delicious amazing food. I am amazed every time I eat here. The food is mouth watering. So flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Hot and fresh. Desserts are sweet and tasty. They have daily specials and meal deal pricing. The food is so good. It will make you want to try their whole menu and you will feel like you took a trip to New Orleans every time !

Most aromatic restaurant I've ever been in. Walk in to homemade ice cream being churned. Then the smell of grandma's kitchen when u hit the counter. Nicest folks I've met in a kitchen. Great food, nice folks... 100% example of what customer service USED to be. Keep it up, Taste of Nuolins!!

I heard so much about this place prior to coming to the city, so I decided to give it a try. On the app, it said that their special was the catfish stuffed jambalaya. But when I got there, they only had pastas as their specials. I was so disappointed because I was really looking forward to the stuffed catfish. We settled on one blackened catfish and shrimp special and one fried catfish special with shrimp. After paying for our meal, we were told, "Hey, I forgot we don't have any shrimp." How can you forget a major item like that, especially after we've already paid and are expecting shrimp? When we got back home to enjoy our meal, we found out they had given us both fried fish instead of one blackened and one fried. Another disappointment. They didn't give enough sauce for the fish or fried items, just one small container. The smothered green beans were extremely salty, and the candy yams were way too sweet. The only positive thing I can say is that the fried catfish had flavor, but it was so thin. Overall, I was just let down by the experience. I don't understand how you can run out of a main staple like shrimp and only tell your customers after they've paid. We had to come up with our own solution because the cashier didn't offer anything extra, even though we paid for something they didn't have. We asked for an extra piece of fish in exchange for the lack of shrimp.

The guy at the counter was very friendly. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp combo. The fish didn’t taste like catfish and was a bit salty. The shrimp and fries were good!! The “who dat punch” was good as well.

Google
They didn't have candied yams, fried green beans or smothered green beans. Catfish didn't taste like catfish. A little overcooked white fish but well seasoned. I was not asked if I wanted my order for here or to go. I had to wait for water.

Some of my coworkers were talking about this place having the best Blackened shrimp and grit in Omaha; so I thought I come try it for myself. This place is perfectly located on the corner of Maple St and Lynn Av in the old BENSON area. They have some a small designated parking lot, and there is additional parking along the street too. The restaurant is spacious, very nicely decorated with a very nice selection of music playing. The lady at the counter was very friendly and offered several suggestions. I finally decided to get the catfish, blackened shrimp with green beans, yams and a side of grits…. OH MY GOD was I surprised with my first sample of everything on my plate. The menu is a bit busy…but once you take a second to sort through it, you will see that they have a very nice selection for everybody preference. Overall summary = Everything was perfectly cook and tasted great! I will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu.. THE CATFISH - was cooked perfectly; seasoned well, cooked properly and seasoned to perfection. THE BLACKENED SHRIMP - was juicy, flavorful and also cooked perfectly. I would have liked to have a larger shrimp for my order but those that I received were just fine. THE YAMS - were cubed, and cooked perfectly; very tender with a glaze on them that was perfect.....not too sweet, it had a nice balance of seasoning with a very sticky icky good-good coating. THE GREEN BEANS - were nicely cooked and were also seasoned very nicely. I also had their “Who dat punch” and it was on the sweet side, but definitely a nice addition to my meal. Note: (they offer “free” refills), so be sure to get you a glass togo.

Cute little takeout restaurant. All of it is in takeout boxes. Very convenient. I got a crawfish po-boy with seasoned fries and peach cobbler bienets on the side. The crawfish po-boy was off menu. It was a bountiful amount of grilled crawfish with a nice flavor. I would have liked fried, but grilled was a pleasant change. They could have added more Cajun flavor like ole bay or crawfish boil for a little heat. The po-boy bread itself was very dense. More like a chabotta bread than a po-boy bread. I would expect a loud crunch when the po-boy is squeezed together. The bread should be very soft and airy inside. It was different but it was good. The seasoned fries were perfectly fried in clean grease (I can taste the difference) to a golden brown. Nice and hot. Just added a puch of salt. They were perfect. The peach cobbler bienets were very hot and flaky. Sweet and airy donut like texture. Delicious.

This was the 2nd New Orleans restaurant I tried in Omaha. The menu looked pretty good. It's inside an ice cream shop. The wife ordered the Jambalaya and I ordered a shrimp Po Boy. As someone who's been to Mardi Gras 12 times and eaten at numerous French Quarter restaurants, I'm always on the look out for good Creole food. While this place was better than the other Omaha New Orleans restaurant, the food still wasn't good. The shrimp in the Po Boy was under seasoned and dry. The Jambalaya rice was way overcooked and just not good. I'm sure it's just line cooks who really don't care about the food coming out, they're just there for the paycheck and go home. And the food reflects it. If I'm in Omaha again, I'll come back for the ice cream, but Omaha has no good New Orleans restaurants that I've found so far.

Yelp
Wow everything was great!!! Very good food and service!! Thanks for a good job! I will be back again soon

Yelp
The lady who took our order was so wonderful! She was so kind and attentive to us. I ordered the Po' Boy and my friends ordered the fries. My friends really enjoyed their food. I did feel my Po' Boy was missing a traditional remoulade sauce or some mayo to elevate the taste of the sandwich. I would not recommend getting the Po' Boy, but I would be interested in going again and trying the fries. We also ordered beignets and they were small, cute, and super yummy! Note: This restaurant is at the same location as Ted & Wallys in the Benson area.

Yelp
Love A Taste of New Orleans food, service and experience. The crawfish pasta was fabulous but seemed more salty than it needed to be. It was great to pair the dinner with some ice cream.
google avatar

Tisha ..

Yelp
Today's special, the seafood jambalaya, candied yams and fried okra were excellent! I really wanted to try the Ted & Wally's ice cream. A separate business that uses the same dining room, but I was already afraid I wouldn't be able to walk out of the restaurant and too my car because I was so full with plenty of food to spare! I guess, I will have to come back for a second trip to taste the "richest in the USA!" Ice cream.

Yelp
Food was great, good variety of New Orleans cuisine, service was fat and efficient. Cajun spice was authentic

Yelp
Try this place for the first time wasn't really pleased. This place is way over priced. I ordered chicken wings, catfish and shrimp for the kids. It was not hot like you would expect it to be fresh out the grease. It's just something i could have made at home. Nothing special at.
google avatar

Anna H.

Yelp
This was a good try. The lady that took our order was friendly and sweet. She answered all of our questions about the menu. The business is located inside the Ted and Wally's in the Benson area. You can view the cook from the counter. Place was clean but seating is limited so we got our food to go. Parking is located on the side street or back or the business. Nice place for some fresh Cajun food!

Yelp
Outstanding catfish!! We all had the combo basket which comes with catfish, shrimp and fries. It was all very good but for me the catfish was a top

Yelp
Sweet and Severus staff, phenomenal food. The green beans in gravy are slept on. Love the catfish, pastas, and sandwiches.

Yelp
This is some of the best food I've had in Omaha, and not just Cajun food! I had heard all good things about this spot and the food truck so I decided to check it out. They have a lot of good options so it took me a while to decide. The lady who took our order was very helpful and had great customer service. The food was ready within 10 mins of ordering too. We went with the catfish combo and the shrimp combo. You get two sides toast and a drink. I tried the yams, chicken/sausage Jambalaya, and the fries. The fish and shrimp were both perfectly cooked they were crispy and well seasoned some of the best fish I've had anywhere! The yams reminded me of my moms so it gave me that home made feel, the jambalaya was great and so were the fries. The Who dat punch was the drink I got and it reminded me of fruit punch kool aid. Everything was fire and I will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this food truck. It was at a theater venue for an event I was attending, and at intermission we went out and ordered food. They were efficient in getting the food out, provided extremely good customer service, and the food was off the chain. I ordered a catfish Poboy and other than the bread of the sandwich itself I loved everything. The bread was kind of soggy, I think from the lettuce sitting on top of it. But the catfish was seasoned and fried to perfection without being greasy or soggy. The fries were crispy and hot. And the sauce in those little containers is magic. Use every last drop on your sandwich and you will be in heaven!

Yelp
Upside: This place is a hidden treasure in Benson area. We ate here twice in one week. The food is really great - love their catfish! and their price is affordable. The staff are easy to talk to. Downside: I wish they would clean up inside, there's too much dried leaves, dirt, dust and we had to wipe our own table. I guess they were just busy, but still ...
google avatar

Monica C.

Yelp
This is the best fried fish in town. It is a bit on the pricey side, hence the 4 star rating. The best part is they are in a space with an actual parking lot, which is a huge plus in Benson. Other than catfish, I've only had the beignets, which were decent, but where else in Omaha are you going to find a decent beignet, so if that is what you are craving, they can satisfy it. Plus after an excellent satisfying meal, you can walk around Benson, walk off that fish meal and then come back for some beignets.

Yelp
One of my all-time favorites. My go-to order is the andouille sausage loaded fries. The fries are perfection - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Well-seasoned. Add andouille sausage, soooo much cheese, ranch and hot sauce... unbelievable. The serving size is a LOT of food and it doesn't reheat well, so I definitely recommend ordering them while very hungry or sharing with a friend. I also love their fried okra and fried mushrooms. They really have fried stuff figured out! Perfect texture and flavor. Most recently I also got PEACH COBBLER BEIGNETS, which should be self-explanatory how delicious they were. The Who Dat house punch just kind of tastes like a couple different flavors of Kool-Aid mixed together, but man is it refreshing and is the perfect flavor for washing down the food. One note: I've tried the jambalaya when they have it as a special, and definitely found it to be a little dry/the rice a little mushy. I believe I had their étouffée on another occasion and remember it being quite delicious. That being said, I think I'm going to stick to my tried and true loaded fries for the time being!

Yelp
We were some of the first customers on Saturday morning. I have been wanting to try A Taste of New Orleans for some time but really wanted the in person experience vs. takeout. We happened to be in Benson around lunch so we took the opportunity. We were greeted warmly and they were patient when we stared at the menu for what felt like 15 min. It was too hard to decide. I wanted it all! Landed on the Catfish Basket, and I had to try the fried mushrooms, and of course the beignets. The prices seemed a little steep UNTIL my basket came out. The servings are very generous. The catfish was perfectly fried and with a little hot sauce- Amazing. I can't wait to come back when they have soft-shell crab on special. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Ordered the seafood meal with fried okra and fried green beans. It included a slice of cake and a drink. The Who Dat punch is super refreshing and sweet. Portions are large and could be shared.

Yelp
DELICIOUS. When I was in a culinary program at my high school, I fell in love with cajun food. I am always on the look out for cajun restaurants when on vacation! I had to get the Shrimp Po Boy and it was SHRIMP HEAVEN. My sandwhich came with plenty of Who Dat Sauce (spicy mayo based sauce). My partner tried catfish for the first time (they're not the biggest fan of fish) but they loved the fried catfish po boy! We shared an order of Cheesey Andouille fries, so yummy! I love how thin the Andouille is sliced, its perfect for layer on top of cheesey fries! Lastly, we shared an order of beignets. My beloved. The taste and texture is something like mix between a fried donut and a fluffy pancake, topped with powdered sugar. We ate some before I got a chance to take a picture, they were too good to wait for!!
google avatar

Lou M.

Yelp
Overall not bad. 3 stars is about right. My first time trying today. Paid just under $12 for my order of chicken and sausage jambalaya and a side of beignets. I kind of expected the jambalaya in a larger to go box not the smaller one and the taste just fine.... not exceptional. The beignets were fair too and barely powdered. I just wasn't blown away with the food overall. Probably will try again but order something different.

Yelp
Out of the 5 Cajun spots I've been to in Omaha, this is the only spot that never misses. The food is consistently high quality, and it truly captures the flavors of The Big Easy. As a New Orleans native, this place reminds me of summers at Mama Netts. The staff is always friendly, polite, and quick for the quality. The only downside is the parking, especially if you come to benson during busy hours. Other than that, this is a go to spot on any given day.
google avatar

Layla S.

Yelp
This place is excellent! I like to try new places around town especially since cov19 trying to do my part in keeping small businesses open. I've tried pretty much all of Omaha soul food/ southern restaurants and hands down A taste of New Orleans is the best. Well seasoned hot and prompt! Keep it coming

Yelp
I saw all the food trucks setting up when I left my hotel room to go for a run and cross over into Iowa. After a nice 5k and walk back, one can work up a nice appetite. So yea,, after going through everyone's menu items. This food truck definitely tickled my fancy. I order the etoufee and the catfish po boi. I pay with my credit card. He asks me for my name, told me to wait and a few minutes later I get my food in a plastic bag. Etoufee: it was definitely very flavorful. I packed rice for work. So It was nice to add a little more rice to it that what's in it. This dish really does go a long way. Catfish PoBoi: it's definitely a strong sandwich. They didn't skimp on the fish either. It was yummy, delicious and definitely would get it again. I love hole in the walls with wheels. Definitely a great experience. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope all of this helps. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

Yelp
Man this place is good! My husband and I have wanted to try it for ages and finally picked up dinner from there tonight. I drove to their physical location which is currently inside Ted and Wally's in Benson. We ordered way too much food but there were several things we wanted to try and honestly, there is nothing that I am sad I ordered. My favorite was the Fried Okra. My grandma was born and raised in the south and made fried okra fresh from her garden every summer. This had the same flavor as hers and brought back some great memories. Absolute perfection! We also wanted to try the Jambalaya so we got a side of it. It was phenomenal! It was the best Jambalaya we have had outside of Louisiana. It had a little spice, great flavor, and the perfect amount of sausage. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Po' Boy for my main. I have a bit of an obsession with po' boy's and this one did not disappoint. So tasty! My husband ordered the chicken bites and luckily I had a taste of one. Wow, so yummy! Wonderfully spiced with a crispy crunch on the outside while the chicken was still tender and juicy on the inside. Overall it was a solid meal! We are sad we haven't had this in our lives earlier, but we will make up for lost time and go back again soon.

Yelp
My daughter and I randomly came across this food truck while shopping at Hobby Lobby. She begged to stop by because she was shocked to see something that reminded her of home. We are Louisiana transplants who have been in Omaha just under 2 years. After reviewing the menu we decided on a catfish plate, loaded cajun fries and beignets. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. Tasted like something we would get back home from a hole in the wall type establishment. We ordered and the food only took about ten minutes to be cooked. We were even gifted a Who Dat punch which my daughter was thrilled about. We will definitely be back as I am interested to try some of their not fried items.

Julie S.

Yelp
Stood in line for 30 minutes waiting to order. Finally rang the bell and asked if we could order and was told by the woman taking orders that she was told to wait. Always try to eat locally owned but this was the worst service I've ever had. Won't be going back.
google avatar

Estela G.

Yelp
I was very excited to try their food. Unfortunately I will probably never order again. My bf had looked at the menu and tried asking the cashier questions and she dismissed him with an attitude saying she's just the cashier, that she doesn't know anything about the food. Ummm.. why. If it was her first day I would understand even then turn around and ask the chef our questions if you don't know. The mashed potatoes were bland. The fried wings were very salty and not spicy. The fried shrimp, catfish were also very salty and oddly tasted the same, no flavor. For as much as we spent that was not worth it at all.
google avatar

Zac D.

Yelp
Had a shrimp po'boy, ranch fries and who dat punch. The shrimp po'boy was $8, and it was $3 to add the fries and punch, then another little bit to add the ranch. The shrimp po'boy had four lumps of two shrimps each, so 8 shrimp in all, there were pretty small in size. They were on lettuce on a soft roll with a sauce on it. While the shrimp and sauce were good, there really wasn't enough shrimp compared to the amount of lettuce and roll. It was really really heavy on the lettuce, and most bites were bread and lettuce rather than shrimp. Definitely didn't feel like I got my $8 worth with this sandwich. The fries themselves were really good. They were a nice size, and fried perfectly. However, the upcharge to add ranch wasn't worth it. I thought it would be the bacon ranch they advertise, but it seemed like straight bottled ranch on the fries. If you eat here, I'd get the fries, but skip the ranch. Finally, the who dat punch was good, but a bit too sweet. Seemed basically like sweet punch kool-aid and was good once the ice melted a bit to thin it out.
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
I have had my eye on this food truck for some time now. Where I work, the cafeteria left at the end of September, so that left me wanting new options. A Taste of New Orleans did not disappoint. Note: I was raised in the south, so this cuisine greatly appeals to me. I had the catfish and a mix of fried okra and fried mushrooms. Kudos to the person taking my order, because I wanted both okra and mushrooms without buying two sides. When I asked to have a mix of both, she said yes. I'm glad I did, because they sure are tasty! The catfish was tender, yet flavorful. The fries were excellent, with good flavor. That's a stark contrast to Five Guys fries which have ZERO flavor. I with they had dessert available, but they did not have it today. In all, I really enjoyed the food. If and when they come back, I'll be eating here again.
google avatar

Yvonne Z.

Yelp
Do you like Cajun/ Creole cooking? Actual proper Cajun/Creole cooking? If you do, this is the place! There is no bland food here. Like many of us, the founder of A Taste of New Orleans moved here after hurricane Katrina and made Omaha their home. I get homesick for good Louisiana cooking and there aren't many good options here without cooking it yourself. They never disappoint. The food is all ridiculously good. They have some outstanding fried or blackened catfish. It's cooked to perfection every single time. They have amazing fried shrimp, fried oysters(haven't tried), yummy wings, mouth watering blackened chicken, crispy fried okra, incredible fried mushrooms, lovely beignets, tasty andouille, delicious fries, very very nice po boys, Cajun tacos, vegetarian options, cake, platters, grits, wonderful alfredo, perfect pasta, soul pleasing gumbo, spot on jambalaya, and the list goes on. I'm working myself up into a fierce hunger just thinking about it. They are inside of the Ted And Wally's Benson location and it's usually busy so we find that it can be helpful to order online before you go and it will be ready when you get there. It might seem a bit pricey at first but for the amount you get, it really isn't. They load up the food and whatever I order ends up usually being enough for at least a couple of meals or you could just split it with someone else. They have different daily specials and a food truck (which was how we discovered them) as well. Plus, there is ice cream afterwards! How can you beat that combination?
google avatar

Jeni K.

Yelp
Super happy this is an option in benson now! Decided to try the crawfish pasta this weekend with some fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were fantastic - I'll for sure go there again just for those. Super crispy and juicy in the inside, served with white dipping sauce. The crawfish pasta wasn't bad at all, just not something I would normally order but I wanted to try something new. It tasted like crawfish etoufee over spaghetti noodles instead of rice, in my opinion. The crawfish tails tasted good and it was beautifully plated for a to-go order, with toast points and lemon wedges.

Chris J.

Yelp
Loved the food. Really big portions. Bit of a wait but worth it. Weird combo of ice cream shop and fish. Be careful with fish allergies. Downside is it's benson area and parking was a $&?;: I also had the Peach beignets. Delicious
google avatar

Tutti S.

Yelp
Plus: Great catfish fried in cornmeal, with remoulade sauce drizzled on top -nice touch. Fries were seasoned with Creole/Cajun seasoning. Both the catfish and fries were freshly made and served piping hot. Minus: Fries were way too salty for my liking. The seasoning minus the salt would have been on target. We ordered the who dat drink, but what we received tasted exactly like Hawaiian punch; a bit of a disappointment. Be advised, it can turn into an adventure trying to locate the truck, as their location is not stagnant. It may sound a little strange, but I kind of like the idea of searching the city in attempt to discover their different spot. To me, flexibility is part of the food truck charm.
google avatar

Mark N.

Yelp
I had the yearning for good New Orleans food this week so stopped by to see what they had. I did not know they had Sunday Brunches, so I went all in for this one, seeing the entrée was Stuffed Bell Pepper. I had a Stuffed Pepper when I was in Cajun LA that blew my socks off, so I had high expectations for this meal and it did not disappoint. The stuffing had a nice zing to it but the Pepper was the star. Everything else was gravy... This might be my 4th or 5th visit here and I've always left satisfied. I was expecting a regular menu today, but being Sunday I'm sure Chef Lee is relaxing somewhere, but the Sunday Brunch idea was very welcome.

Yelp
This food truck had the longest line so we got in place and committed to the line. It was well worth the wait. The woman taking your order was 5 stars all the way she was so cheerful and did not rush us. We had a few questions and she was happy to spend some time with us! My husband and I shared the shrimp and Cajun fries, our friend got the poor boy sandwich and the seafood pasta. The pasta was delicious and was not at all what I had pictured. it was the perfect amount of creamy with just the right amount of seafood mixed in. The bread for the poor boy was fresh and soft; the sauces were very good.

Lauren L.

Yelp
Hello my name is Lauren @ I have an addiction to shrimp & grits. I look forward to Thursdays as it is my day of & most importantly, A Taste of NOLA has shrimp & grits!! The grits are so rich, idk what special butter is used, it should be illegal for anything to taste that amazing. The shrimp/sausage ratio is perfect. I seriously eat this for FOUR days; the serving size is HUGE. I've also had the seafood pasta & it's fire as well...nothing holds up as well as the shrimp & grits. That peach butter cake you had a few months ago...I wouldn't e sad if that made another appearance.

Yelp
We had taste of New Orleans on a Friday night and were amazed!!! We ordered the blackened chicken pasta and shrimp and catfish combo. Both were delicious. We look forward to making many more stops for dinner here
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
I absolutely love this Truck. Working downtown, they usually appear every Thursday. Never had a bad meal, the workers are super friendly, and in particular, the boudin balls are to die for. Prices are pretty reasonable also.

Yelp
A 25-minite wait and the line hasn't moved. They surely must have known what a "lunch rush" is. But it looks like they were unprepared. I know from experience that the food is great. But we certainly didnt have unlimited time on our lunch break and had to give up. Will not try this food truck again for lunch! Maybe will try them for dinner sometime when we have the time to spare and can wait forever for food. Update: I also left a comment on their Facebook page, and they gave me a very nice, thoughtful response. I now have the owner's phone number and was invited to call ahead with my order so they can have it ready for me when I arrive. I'm so pleased! This is one of my favorite food trucks ever, and with this sort of responsive customer service, I have every reason to HIGHLY recommend A Taste of New Orleans. Try their Loaded Cajun Fries--grilled chicken with some of the best cajun fries you'll ever eat.

Yelp
Was lucky enough to snag the Soft Shell Crab basket here along with the Peach Cobbler. The batter on the crab was a little saltier than what I prefer, but I still enjoyed the softshell crab taste on toast. The fries were very good and the peach dessert was SO good! I will definitely order again when crab is available. Wish I would have taken a pic, but I inhaled it too quickly!

Yelp
Stopped there today and got the catfish with Cajun fries and they did not disappoint! We showed up at 11:30 and there was only one person in line , when we left there was probably 10 behind us with more coming . The lady at the window was kind and fun to talk to you could tell she enjoyed her job and I like that . Really wished they had crawfish because I been wanting to try it baldy ,, gives me an excuse to go back though . Check Facebook they will tell you the menu of the day so you know what they will be having .. Only thing that hey disappointed me was my son stole my punch .. Oh the disappointment is real !!

Yelp
Such great food. I ordered upon arriving and had my food in less than 10 minutes! I ordered the jambalaya-stuffed catfish. The meal was huge. It easily lasted me two meals. So delicious.

Yelp
Great little food truck that normally parks a few blocks from my job in the Canfield Plaza parking lot on West Center. Everything I've gotten from here has been delicious. Nice and crispy catfish with a great remoulade sauce, spicy etoufee and fluffy beignets. My favorite has to be the etoufee fries. Similar to poutine this dish has just the right level of spice and the fries don't get soggy! The sausage and crawfish pieces are delicious as well. As someone who grew up eating creole and cajun food I'm happy to see a food truck getting the flavors and dishes right here in the Midwest.

Yelp
I liked it and will try it again. I had the catfish po boy. Excellent sauce and the lettuce was cut the proper way for a po boy. The bread is always important for a sandwich and the bread was right. Not sure if it was Rotella's or another brand. I will try the other items. The only other place that I know that has comparable po boys is Absolutely Best Seafood.

Yelp
The food BOMB!! The services was more than great!! The flavors was amazing. It's very hard to find a really good piece of catfish in Omaha and the search is over. This has hit the spot. Oooo and The Who dat sauce?? Make sure to get extra!!!

Yelp
I'm very picky with southern food. This place did not disappoint with their fried catfish. Battered in cornmeal which is the way I love it. Seasoned well. A tad bit more salty than I like but I dont put salt on anything.. so any amount of salt stands out to me... so this may be my own issue. Fries were really good... cajun. They have a drink called the "Who dat"... it was tasty... and only $1. They should offer a larger drink for $1.50. Nice folks working here. I'll try some other stuff soon. My second visit, I ordered the who dat punch and they gave me Hawaiian punch. I was kinda sad a out that mishap.

Yelp
The catfish was fantastic! Breaded with cornmeal and drizzled with remoulade sauce. Delish. The fries were great too. However the Gumbo, was w complete disappointment. It was mostly water, and the rice was sooo dry. The shrimp was way over cooked and it just was not tasty. Plus it cost like $8. Ripoff. I'll definitely be back for the fish though. And they start selling crawfish soon! Stay tuned! I'll post about how that is.

Yelp
Today was my first time trying this place and it was AMAZING! I love fried catfish & oysters and this hit the spot without me having to wait until I travel down south. If you are in the area stop in for some delicious, authentic New Orleans cuisine.

Yelp
The shrimp was good, but I'm not sure I'd call it a taste of new orleans. We are from Louisiana and looking for shrimp. The best we have had here
