SOOOO HAPPY THIS PLACE OPENED IN BALLARD!!! Food was so good and the service and workers were SO nice! Love that the sushi is fresh, yummy, and affordable. We tried 10+ dishes and they were all amazing. This will definitely be a new favorite and go-to spot. Definitely would recommend!!!

I went to the Kirkland location once and loved it, so I was very excited when this location opened. Visited yesterday and was super happy with the quality of the food. Price is reasonable and that’s rare these days. Will come back regularly!

We went there when they first opened and everything tasted so fresh and good. I like that they have smaller portion like what you can get from sushi belt which mean you can try a lot of things but the only difference is this is made fresh ordering was easy, they have QR code or fully pictured book menu and they'll give you paper & pen to check what you'd like to order. The tonkatsu ramen was flavorful and noodle is chewy, my 2 years old son couldnt get enough! Chicken karage is so crispy and light. The roll have just the right proportion of rice and the fills (I'm usually pretty picky when it comes to this) sauces were complimentary to the sushi. The ocha/green tea tasted very authentic a must when eating at Japanese restaurant. Service is great and attentive and they were very patient with us being new to this place. This place have everything you need from hot food, soup, sushi from raw to fully cooked so you'll have a lot of variety when bringing the whole family & friends. Price is also reasonable I wish I live a bit closer so I can go there more often. Ballard, you are so lucky!

I heard this place just opened and was worth checking out. I was excited to see a new sushi spot open! I was in the area around 5pm looking for some food and thought I would give it a try. I had miso soup, green tea, 4 sets of top tier nigiri, and 3 rolls and with tip it was about $45. I have been going all the way to Cap Hill for my sushi fixes, but will be visiting here more often. The server was very kind and helpful, she was the only one on the floor with about 8 tables going at a time, so if you come in be a little patient, it’s worth it. Everything came out quickly, was great quality, and a good atmosphere. Just maybe not the “I have 20 minutes to eat” pace. I was in no rush and felt attended to without feeling like she was trying to flip my table and push me out. She checked in on me a few times to make sure I was happy. Amazing prices, good quality, will be coming back soon.

I love the fact that all the dishes at this place are small and cheap. My $5 rainbow roll was just 4 pieces. Udon bowls are about 12 ounces. My wife and I ate (without alcohol) for $28 including tip. Food seems fresh enough, not most glamorous I’ve had, but good. Miso soup was definitely the most flavorful miso soup I’ve ever had in my life, I think they must use twice as much miso as usual. Will definitely be back for affordable, great food.

Lunch with friends, we ordered bento box which we found very filling. Large portion, soft, and many variations, consisting of salad, sushi, delicious and light crispy vegetable tempura, and tender meat. It will definitely fill you up and satisfy your appetite. and don't forget to order the dessert which drives me crazy.. We will definitely be back to try more things"

my boyfriend and I dropped by for an early dinner after seeing the good reviews, and this place truly deserves all of the praise !!!!! the fish was so fresh and the portions were great. we had an appetizer, rolls, nigiri, and an udon, and everything was so delicious and reasonably priced ! also the owner was so sweet and friendly. we will be back! highly recommend the seared salmon nigiri and bluefin tuna toro !!!

I just passed by and decided to give a try for this new sushi place. I ordered chicken katsu bento and it tasted so good. The chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. Compare to other sushi restaurants, the amount of chicken on my bento box was so abundant, and guess what, the price is really affordable, only $20.99 and got various items on the box. Will definitely come back to try something else. This will be my new favorite sushi restaurant.

Great spot for a quick bite with affordable prices, extensive menu, fast service, and super friendly staff. Small, appropriately priced dishes allow you to try out a few things per visit. It's a very welcome addition to the neighborhood which can otherwise be a bit expensive and upscale nowadays. Just come with the expectations of a casual vibe (there is a TV unfortunately) and you will not be disappointed.

Happy to see a new sushi spot opened up in Ballard, so I tried it out for take out. We got a few rolls and every one was REALLY good. I like that their rolls have 4-6 pieces (prices reflect this) vs the standard 8, so you can try a few different options.

A great spot to try lots of sushi in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle! Located next to the Ballard farmers market, parking is street only. The miso soup is on par with most I've tried. The calamari was a small portion but had great seasoning. I would get both of these things again. The service was quick and helpful - they are happy to answer questions and check in throughout. The ambiance is clean and moderately quiet. Nothing to write home about but made for an enjoyable experience. If you are in the area, check them out!!!

Great new addition to the neighborhood! Online ordering is easy - plus I live in the area so it was nice to do a quick pick up. Not sure if sister restaurant to the "sushi go round" aa sushi in Kirkland, but the menu is set up similarly...just no carrousel inside. My order was ready within roughly 30 minutes (a few more than the online system quoted, but no biggie). The staff are friendly and would certainly be up for eating inside next time around. My sushi order + tonkatsu ramen + edamame was all pretty good. Including tip, I paid around $40+ (this included a 15% discount by ordering online for over $35) My fave was the seared salmon. Perfect char flavor! Same with the salmon bomb...nicely cooked and great flavor. The dragon roll was pretty good. Spicy tuna is straight forward. I enjoy that these rolls come in smaller portions so you can try more of a variety! The ramen was alright...broth was flavorful, but nothing super special. I'd stick to the rolls. Highly recommend stopping in!

We were not fans of this spot mainly because of the food. We had the calamari, gyoza, and 4 rolls of sushi. The calamari was terrible and not edible. The seafood in the sushi tasted old. The seating is uncomfortable and the illumination is very distracting.

Food was great frtesh very small portions nice clean family place decnt service. Will be back.

I've been here twice now and I'm certain it'll become a lunch staple for me. The service, quality of food and prices are just unbeatable. Can't wait to work my way through the menu!

Great quality sushi at an unbeatable price point. I literally haven't seen sushi prices this cheap anywhere in the city, even pre-pandemic. The owner is an absolute gem, one of the friendliest guys around. Highly recommend stopping by to check this place out if you're in the area!

I love this new sushi spot! Well priced with great service. I particularly like how well setup it is for family style. You get to try so many more options as most orders are smaller, such as rolls being closer to half size.

Service was excellent and the fish was fresh and so good! They were very kind with our 4 year old daughter. The rolls are smaller than normal which I appreciated since it meant we got to try more! This is definitely our new go-to sushi place in the neighborhood.

Delicious sushi, great service, nice atmosphere and fair prices. I would definitely recommend this place to others. I liked that the rolls only had 4 pieces in them, that way we could try a bigger variety of rolls. Everything we tried was really tasty and fresh!

We just got done with dinner there and had a wonderful experience. The staff are all very kind and welcoming and the food was delicious. I don't eat sushi often and this place has me excited to go back for more. Highest level of food, service and ambiance, in all of Ballard.

We love the sushi and service at this place. They are so friendly here and we love the smaller portion size for the rolls and other food so we can try different items out. Plus the prices are very good. We come here at least a few times a month. Being open for lunch is also a plus

Welcome this amazing restaurant to the neighborhood. The miso soup, sashimi platter, so amazing and the red devil roll was a huge hit! The service fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
