The beetroot kebab appetizer was flavorful and well-prepared, served in a portion of four pieces. The paneer lasagna with beetroot sauce stood out with its layered paneer slices in a rich, creamy beetroot curry. The garlic naan was a perfect bread to the beetroot curry. The sitafal rabdi, garnished with almonds and rose petals, was a delightful dessert. It was overall a satiating North Indian dining experience.

This place has great food! Everything right from there beetroot kebab, to lamb chops is SOOO good! I personally love their Nagpuri Saoji chicken curry, chicken tikka biryani, aam panna, sitaphal rabdi, lasuni gobhi, railway mutton curry, and onion kulcha. Their service is also quick, and the owners are very hospitable. By far it's one my most fav Seattle’s indian restaurant. I love their food so much, that I asked them to cater for our Thanksgiving Party and the food was Sooo good! The delivery was on time, food was fresh and full of flavors. It's definitely going to be my go-to restaurant in Seattle and I highly recommend it!

I stumbled upon Aamrai Indian Restaurant on Google Maps while searching for good Indian food in downtown Seattle and I’m so glad I did. I visited this restaurant with my wife and loved the place. The beetroot tikki was unique and delicious, and the masala tea was perfectly spiced. I ordered the paneer tikka tiffin box with rice and dal makhni- both flavorful with generous portions. To top it off, the sitaphal rabri had just the right amount of sweetness. Loved everything about this place - definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful date night experience We called for - lasooni gobhi- the best gobhi dish i have had in Seattle - kofta - garlic naan - rasmisu - fusion of rasmalai and tiramisu. What’s there not to like! Yum The place is expensive but it’s a must visit for dates or experience with good food!

Amazing food and a wonderful experience! The chicken tikka biryani was absolutely delicious, the chicken lollipop was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the sitafal rabdi is honestly one of the best I’ve had. A special mention to the staff — they were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. The ambience is lovely too, with a perfect touch of Maharashtra that makes the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place!

This place serves amazing Indian food. The restaurant is nice and clean with a good layout and the customer service is really good. The best part however is the food. It was delicious. We ordered the Kasoori murg tikka and it was so good. The chicken tiffin box tikka masala was great. Overall this place serves incredible Indian food that makes me want to go back. On the down side it’s a little pricey, but worth it.

What a delightful experience! We ordered the Beetroot Kabab, Lasuni Gobi, Vada Pav, Tandoori Malai Chicken Tikka and of course Sitaphal Rabdi which was to die for. Delicious— all of it + great service and atmosphere was lovely. Need to go back to try the Tiffin :)

One of the few good Indian restaurants in Seattle. However, it is highly over-priced for the portion size. Loved the Malai Mushroom Tikka appetizer, Garlic Naan, Veg Kofta, and Cheese Naan. The Mango-Rasperberry Dome flavor was above average. We were given a complimentary Sitaphal Rabri dessert. The service was really good.

Really like trying new Indian restaurants, one of my favorite cuisines. Nice when they are near by. Sorry, no curried goat, so went with the butter chicken which very good. Bit more buttery than tomatoey seemed to me or perhaps they somehow decreased the tomato tang. I also had a side of the Lentil Bukhara, also very good though not quite as spicy as elsewhere. I chose the onion kulcha bread also good. I had a spicy tamarind guava cocktail rimmed with a peppery salt, very good. Ended up with a very good Gulub Jamun. Service was great, checked back several times and the setting very cozy.

Had a great experience dining at this restaurant. We ordered lahsuni gobhi and paneer tikka for appetizers; both the dishes were very flavorful. For main course we ordered the veg baingan dabba which was amazing too. Fast service; very attentive staff. We had the cozy nook to ourself with great music playing . Again all in all, a perfect dine out!

Amazing and just amazing food. The flavors were suttle but each dish had its own flavour. This new gem will give a tough competition to all super expensive low on quality restaurant . Server was very nice and he took the feedback in very positive way. Will definatley visit one more time to they other dishes. It's Seattle so parking is very tough

Absolutely loved my experience at Aamrai. The place has such a nice fine-dine vibe--classy, comfortable, and perfect for a chill evening with good food and drinks. We started with the Chilli Mushroom, and honestly, it was so good--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The Kerala Chicken Fry was a standout for me--super flavorful and cooked just right. For the mains, the Chicken Korma was rich and comforting, and the Kadhai Baingan was surprisingly delicious with bold, well-balanced spices. Expect really good service The food paired really well with their cocktails, which just added to the overall experience. Great ambience, amazing food, and solid drinks--Aamrai is definitely a place I'd go back to. Highly recommend!

Such a fun new neighborhood spot! Interior was so cozy and chic, service was kind gave lots of recommendations and attentive, and the food was great! Came for a double date night ended up with the beetroot kebab, lamb kebab, Bombay vada pav, butter chicken, nagpuri saoji chicken rasa, rice and garlic naan. All delicious though for me the Bombay vada pav and nagpuri saoji chicken rasa stole the show. The butter chicken was sweeter than I've typically had but was a really nice alternative when paired with the nagpuri saoji chicken rasa which had a bit more spice to it. We also ended with the saffron tiramisu which was good but not as delicious as the mains and appetizers. Overall great spot to go for a good meal with kind people and a great ambiance! Only notes (which were completely understandable as they are new!) were they took all of our menus when we were done ordering initially, so we couldn't continue to peruse - including the drink menu. Which they didn't not ask if we wanted another round at any point or bring the menu back for us to consider more drinks.

I wasn't expecting to be this impressed, but the chicken tikka biryani was amazing. Seattle doesn't have enough consistently great Indian spots, and this one stands out. I'll 100% be ordering again.

Really wonderful lunch here on a whim. Vibe was great (loved the music, everyone was warm and friendly). Samosa chaat & vegetarian tiffin were really well done. Appreciate spots like this in the neighborhood!

Their Chicken Tikka Biryani was so good. Helpful staff and great ambience. But I appreciated even more their location. It's only a few minutes walk to Capitol Hill station and it's also served by pretty frequent buses close by. Felt like a proper neighborhood restaurant integrated with the city. Only suggestion would be to work with the city to have a bike rack installed nearby.

Service is quite great here - came on a slow Sunday lunch and was seated immediately by waitstaff. The paneer tikki masala was pretty rich and maybe a little too sweet for my taste, but it wasn't terrible? The Samosa Chaat was quite good enough - definitely worth trying. Rice being extra $ to add is kind of weird - have been to few Indian places where rice is not included with the main entree. The naan was $16 for 4 pieces, which is normal but still lowkey kind of steep for what it is. Overall, for 2 people, we got 2x portions of naan, 1x entree, and 1x appetizer, and it came out to be $35/head after tax and tip. Not really sure when Indian food got that pricey but I probably would. not recommend this location if you are looking to get a bang for your buck. Food isn't that bad though, but it definitely isn't good enough for me to feel happy shelling out $30+ a head for stuff I can find elsewhere for $20.
