Wonderful restaurant, wonderful original food, wonderful attentive service! Expensive but we felt it was worth the price. The dishes are tiny jewels of flavour, but don’t fret, there are a lot of them. We left feeling quite satisfied.

Definitely the best restaurant I’ve ever tried in Calabria and among my top favourites in the world. The level of food quality, creative take on modern Italian kitchen and Uber-care to the customers altogether made the experience unparalleled. Absolutely recommend the restaurant to anyone who loves food and who appreciate the passion from a restaurant. Bravi!

They have given me the best birthday gift, their Passion. The menu is forward cusine, and Creativity is the Dish. I suggest to do each plate according to the wine, because is the finest experience, it continues every little Taste of Heaven. I am an artistic person, so we gave total freedom to the Chef to Enrich and surprise us. The servers are the kindest, warmest, most welcoming. I am so grateful to all the Abruzzino people, Top experience!

Eating here is a deep dive into the great Calabria kitchen, however the creativity and sophistication on each plate is a real adventure and gives pleasure for all senses. It’s a real pleasure to learn about the delicious plates and also what’s behind. I really recommend the vine journey which perfectly matches food and serves a great variety of local vines.

Locale Pet friendly.

Yelp
A long standing Calabrian family restaurant that in recent years has passed from father to son. Yet, the family is still much involved with Antonio still overseeing the front side of the house. All of the staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to share what makes Calabria unique in Italy. I enjoyed the 7 course offering but in true hospitality was give both desserts and many after dinner treats; so thankful for all the great food. Abbruzino is another hidden restaurant gem in the area worth consideration and worthy of their Michelin star recognition.

Yelp
Just happened to spot this restaurant on the Michelin guide and decided to check it out. At first is was a bit difficult to find, actually not difficult but "different" as it seems to enter someone home rather than a restaurant, and that warm welcoming feeling is what follows you throughout the meal. Even if elegant does not make you feeling uncomfortable, the menu changes often and they try always to serve seasonal food. The style of the dishes is local Italian/Calabrese but never obvious, they really try to start from great ingredients and a sound culinary culture to move forward a make the difference. The tuna appetizer, the pasta with anduia and sea urchins, and the gelato di pane are just amazing. Last but not least the price is affordable and the quality/price ratio is great.

Yelp
On a trip to Italy, specifically near Cantanzaro, I checked Yelp to see if there was any place near where we were staying that sounded like a good place to eat. I found one Yelp review (Ferdinando G's), but a really good one, on Antonio Abruzzino's restaurant. And it was literally a 3 minute walk from where we were staying. Best meal we had in all of Italy (and we traveled from Venice to Florence to Rome to the Southern Tip). We chose something called (roughly speaking) the Chef's Choice. It was excellent. I wish I could describe it now, but it's been a couple of weeks. Let it be said that the meal came in a number of courses, each one as good or better than the previous one. The service was exemplary and the chef himself was very involved in the serving and making sure that everything was running smoothly. Run, don't walk, to Antonio Abruzzino. I assure you, you will not regret it.
