This restaurant has wonderful dishes - I've tried the shrimp fried rice, short ribs, the beef stew, multiple dim sum options and the salt and pepper flounder. While the food is great, one thing that has felt weird each time was how rushed you were. On the last visit, we were still eating when one of the servers asked us if we wanted them to take the plates away. During the same visit, the check was brought while we were still eating. If in that instance, I had planned to order some more dishes to-go, I would have immediately been put off from doing that. It felt very weird that there were people who had arrived there earlier than us but they didn't seem as rushed as we felt we were - they seemed to be having a more relaxed experience. This makes me concerned about unconscious bias - not sure if race plays an issue but it has occurred too many times that its worth mentioning. I really like eating here but I am ready to take a long break until I really miss the food and then maybe I'll go back and just deal with the lack of awareness in the service.
