The Ride-Along Report: First Takes From Last Night’s Dinner - London - The Infatuation

"What It Is: A massive Lebanese Restaurant in Belgravia. Perfect For: Corporate Cards This smart, good looking restaurant is perfectly fine. They serve all the dishes you’d expect of a Lebanese restaurant in London: hummus, grilled meats, halloumi. But it all felt rather clinical. Verdict: By all means go if you’re in the area and need a spot for a business lunch. Be warned though: this place has zero bants." - Sam Collins, Oliver Feldman, Heidi Lauth Beasley, Jake Oliver, Eileen Twum

Abd El Wahab Review - Chelsea - London - The Infatuation

"Abd El Wahab is a rather fancy Lebanese spot in Belgravia. They serve the classics. Grilled meats, check. Grilled halloumi, check. An abundance of hummus, check. But there are better Lebanese spots in London. If you’re in the area and your corporate card is burning a hole in your pocket, then Abd El Wahab is perfectly fine. But if you're after a bit of banter and a good time, you should probably head somewhere else." - Eileen Twum

We had lunch there and it was really good. The service was amazing, the food was also excellent, the bread would have been better if made fresh and the manager was the kindest man ever. Really appreciate such good service overall. My parents absolutely loved it. We usually order take away and ate in the restaurant for the first time. Will def be back and highly recommend.

This place had been there for ages, the food was really tasty and really good, good quality ingredients, service was fantastic and super friendly, this is by far the best hommus i had in london so far. i have 2 advices for the owner/manager: music was repeating 2/3 songs in the background, this was a vibe killer, music is the soul of the place, little bit of investment and it can be a game changer, second thing the bathrooms; it didn’t look well as it hasnt been well taken care of. other than that. i enjoyed it so much and my family as well. this place is child friendly

Let's start with the good: the food is nice. Not great, but good. Would I come here again? Not of my own volition. An acquaintance had organised a small lunch of five and reserved a table under his name. When I arrived and mentioned the reservation, three staff members got involved, but none of them was seemingly able to work out which of the tables to take me to. They settled me on my own at a table of five and left me there (without a menu). Because they had seemed so disorganised, I had another look around the room and spotted my acquaintance at another table, so I went over to join him. Something similar happened to the other two people joining us. It seems strange to me that they seemingly could not work out which table the reservation was associated with. We could see from the other tables that they seemed to have ordered a set menu. This was not offered to us and when we inquired about it, the waitress said that they don't have one. She asked the manager to come over and he said that they do, in fact, have a set menu and proceeded to explain it to us. The menu was £50 per person and it seemed like the quantity would be too much, so we ordered à la carte. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired and the food did not make up for that. You can get great Libanese food on Edgeware Road for less money and with better service (although the setting will not be as nice).

Accidentally came across this restaurant, lovely food. All my dishes was recommended to me by who I think was the manager and they where lovel. I loved the spicey sausage and the sauce. I'm not a dessert person but ordered 2 and they where awesome. Friendly, efficient and fast service will be coming back.

Beautiful Lebanese restaurant in London. Walking distance from Harrods. Furniture is bit outdated. Service is good. Food quality and taste is reasonable. If you want to have Lebanese Araq and good food it’s recommended for light lunch.

Habib Al Mulla

Google
A Lebanese restaurant in London. Rating is #average. The bread was warmed in plastic bag so was soggy. The Tabooleh was chopped in large pieces. The Bamia bel zeit was served fridge cold. Feta was very liquid almost like a thick soup. The Falafel and the KHAROUF MARKOUK were very good. The Kunafa was literally bad.

Juan Cafe

Google
Very good service and reasonably priced for the area. The grilled chicken is excellent and we highly recommend the mixed grill. We got a free mixed grill and a giant platter of fruits, both complementary. The starters are on the smaller side, so get a few. Perfect for groups and for sharing. As a bonus there is a cigar room. Go for the food and stay for the service!

Google
Hands down to the best Lebanese restaurant in London. Abd el Wahab is my favourite and my go-to whenever I’m craving Levantinian food. Service is excellent, food is fresh and tasty, and a good selection of Lebanese wines, beer, and spirits! Ask for Pier, he is definitely one of a kind!

Yelp
We had dinner at Abd Wahab and overall it was good: *Restaurant is large and airy...I didn't see any outdoor seating. *Service is friendly and food came out quickly. *Food itself is solid. Definitely recommend the Moujaddara and Batata Kezbra. We also ordered a Beetroot Salad which was good, Hummus, and Chicken Taouk. The only thing I didn't care for was the Seabass Provencal which was lacking in flavor so I wouldn't recommend that dish. I might return if in the area.

Yelp
Welcoming ambiance, hospitality and amazing cuisine. The Beruti Humus was delicious. The Chicken Kebabs were marinated and tender. The Lamb Shish was flavorful & well spiced. Our every request was attended to by the polite & thoughtful manager.

Yelp
Came here upon recommendation of Lebanese colleague who advised this place was the 'real deal.' I cannot recommend it highly enough. I went with a group of 5 on a Monday evening. It was relatively quiet, with decent sit-down restaurant atmosphere - not overly formal or imposing. The food was spectacular. I had the best hummus of my life, and some incredibly flavorful mixed meat and vegetarian dishes. I'll definitely return at the next opportunity.

Yelp
From NYC here. Walked by this place a bit tipsy on the way back to the hotel one night and couldn't find it on yelp - they are brand spanking new! What a treat this place was for lunch. We ordered the meat hummus and the mixed grill and were over the damn moon with how delicious and sublime the flavors were. I would definitely come back to try more things on the menu since everything we ordered was so delicious. Beirut beer was great too! Thanks Abd el Wahab!!

Yelp
In a fancy neighborhood and the best Lebanese food. Very fresh and you can tell they use only the best ingredients. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Try the lentil soup and the hummus is great.

Yelp
I expected way more from this place, based on the reviews. Food looked good, but was short on flavor. Felt very "anglicized." Surely there is better Lebanese food in London. Polite and helpful staff.
