Abshar Restaurant (Croydon)

Went to this restaurant with a group from work and everything was a good standard from the food to the service. The restaurant generally opens at 2 on Wednesday and we needed to get there for 1. They agreed to have the Chef come earlier to support us and the service was amazing. Lovely experience and all around great. Great flavours.

Presentation of food was good but there was a weird paraffin flavour coming from some of the grilled meats and even one of the aubergine dishes we ordered. Ruined the experience a little The yogurt drink was nice and the bread but a lot of the food lacked seasoning as well I'm giving 2 stars because of the paraffin flavour and lack of seasoning but if those are sorted out easily 4 stars

Nice Persian cusine and ambience, service was great, prices are slightly higher as comprare to others however you will enjoy

Recently I have gone through o Abshar with my friend. We had an incredible experience. The authentic atmosphere transported me to Iran, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The highlight was undoubtedly the lamb shank – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Each dish showcased the chef's skill and dedication to delivering an authentic Persian culinary experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a delightful dining adventure.

I love Persian food, so when I found Abshar, I was really excited to try to food, and it definitely did not disappoint. The hospitality was fantastic, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was brilliant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any foodie out there. Thank you for the great food Abshar

It's the perfect place for the perfect food. My little girl with ASD loves it. It's not crowded and the service is respectful. We go regularly as a treat, family gathering.
