I came to AC Barbeque on July 1st and had a great experience. The food was amazing, and when I asked about a military discount, the staff kindly honored it (photo attached). I appreciated that, and it left a strong impression on me so much so that I came back just three days later on July 4th.
Unfortunately, this second visit was disappointing across the board.
They were out of ribs, the brisket sandwich I received was cold, the fries were only filled halfway, and the $7.99 beans didn’t include any brisket like they’re supposed to. I ordered the exact same meal just three days prior, and the quality drop was obvious.
To make matters worse, when I asked again about the military discount, the manager told me they don’t offer one even though I had just received it earlier that week. That kind of inconsistency, both in food and customer service, is frustrating and concerning.
AC Barbeque has real potential, but they seriously need to work on maintaining consistency: whether it’s food temperature, portion sizes, or how policies like discounts are communicated and honored. I wanted to support this business, and I still hope they can turn it around, but right now, they’ve got some work to do.
